The final goal of restoration is the 1000 year Kingdom

Zechariah prophesies restoration.

Yet prophecy can have more than one fulfillment.

HOSEA 11:1   When Israel was a child, then I loved him,

and called my son out of Egypt.

God called the Jewish nation out of Egypt under Moses.

Then Jesus was called out of Egypt just before He was 12 years old.

Some Jews had returned from the captivity of Babylon and despite strong opposition were determined to rebuild the Temple under the guidance of Zechariah.

But their restoration was temporary. They would reject Messiah and be scattered worldwide by pagan Rome in AD 70 when their Temple and Jerusalem were destroyed.

So what is God really trying to tell us in Zechariah's prophecies.

Zechariah refers to Messiah more often than all of the other 11 shorter prophecies.

So He is not telling us about the First Coming of Jesus. From a Jewish point of view, the Jews failed to grasp what that was about.

The next time the Jews meet Messiah will be when He saves them at the end of the 3.5 years of Great Tribulation.

From AD 70 onwards, they would be endlessly persecuted by Gentile nations and the church and finally return to Israel in the 1900s amidst an awful Holocaust and four wars against Arab armies. In the 3.5 years of great Tribulation, they will finally meet Messiah Who alone can bring world peace.

After the battle of Armageddon, they will be God’s chosen nation in the great Millennium Kingdom or 1000 years of peace. This is the real culmination of Zechariah’s prophecies.

Thus, Zechariah is focused on the future Big Picture, not on the events of his day.

We will thus try to interpret these Chapters in terms of church history and the history of the Jews during the seven church ages and then the final 3.5 years of great Tribulation. The final consolation that Zechariah offers to Israel is the glorious 1000 years of peace. That is the final goal of the Jews because the church would persecute and kill the Jews, expel the Jews, rob them, forcibly convert them, and scatter them. But this scattering actually protected the Jews. Jews in one area were not affected when Jews in another area were being attacked.

God blinded the Jews so that He could turn to us Gentiles. Thus, God had to protect the Jews from being destroyed by the Gentile church that became blind in its anti-Jewish hatred. They have been heavily persecuted but the souls under the altar in the Fifth Seal are Jews who are given white robes when they are killed.

REVELATION 6:9   And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

:10   And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

:11   And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

No beast is mentioned in this Seal. So the church ages are over.

"A little season" is the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. Only when that is over can the Jews go down with Jesus to smash the enemy at Armageddon.

"Fellowservants". The Jews are servants. The church is the Bride.

The 144000 Jews who meet Messiah during great Tribulation, must also be killed. Jews pay for their salvation in their own blood.

By dispersing the Jews around the world, God has also protected them. If they are killed in one place then the others that are scattered elsewhere survive. Dispersed amongst the nations they were in a spiritual wilderness. Then God would raise up the American superpower to protect Israel at the end of the seventh church age. When America is finally led to ruin by the Roman Catholic Church then two prophets, Moses and Elijah, will rise to guide and protect the Jews in their 3.5 years of greatest troubles.

What can we learn today about ourselves and modern Jewish history from the prophecies of Zechariah?

Humans love to usurp power to rule others

ZECHARIAH 1:1   In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

Darius means “he possesses”.

Darius possessed the throne because he usurped the Persian throne by killing Bardiya, the last son of Cyrus. Darius then ruled in a very cruel manner in order to relentlessly stamp out any opposition to his seizure of power.

Yet, Darius was the king who allowed the rebuilding of the Temple to continue.

The apostles did not get involved in politics because even bad emperors like Nero could not stop God achieving His will.

Even though Darius had violently seized the throne and held onto political power by using brutal force, God was still able to use him to get the Temple rebuilt. None of the sins and ruthless ambitions of human rulers will ever stop God’s Plan from coming to pass for His people Israel.

So, it seemed that the Jews were safely back in Israel after being exiled in Babylon for 70 years.

But that would not last for too long before this rebuilt Temple was totally destroyed by Pagan Rome and replaced by a Muslim “abomination that makes desolation” called the Dome of the Rock.

Julius Caesar replaced the Republic of Rome with a usurped dictatorship that his great-nephew Augustus turned into the pagan Roman Empire. Augustus was the first Emperor and Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero followed as Emperors in this family. The Emperor ruled as a complete dictator.

But then a general called Galba usurped the pagan Roman Emperor’s throne in AD 68.

Then general Vespasian usurped the throne in AD 69 and his son Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70. The Jews were then scattered throughout the world.

The unscriptural Pope now usurps dictatorial power over the church. The Pope is the only dictator in Europe.

One-man-church-leaders usurp power over the local churches. That is the spirit of this end-time age.

This worldwide scattering and exile of the Jews would last for almost 2000 years and totally eclipse the 70-year  Babylonian captivity.

Zechariah means “God remembers”.

God remembers His people Israel. He will turn back to them when the church is caught up to meet Him in the air.

The Jews have been much persecuted but God has not forsaken them.

Zechariah is concerned with restoration.

The restoration of the Jews back to their Promised Land from their Babylonian captivity was a preview of two greater restorations.

The restoration of the Bride in the seventh church age back to the apostolic beliefs of the first church age. This would require two great champions. Saint Paul wrote half of the New Testament in order to establish the first church age of Ephesus. Then this truth was lost in the Dark Ages and God used William Branham in America to restore the children at the end time back to the Bible beliefs of the apostolic fathers of the first church age. These two men were the first and the last church age messengers.

Then comes the restoration of the Jews back to Israel so that they can meet Messiah in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation after being scattered around the world. The two great prophets, Moses and Elijah, will be the champions who turn the Jews back to the Gospel of the apostolic age.

These two groups, the Bride and the Jews, will then meet up and live in peace during the Millennium.

Zechariah has more prophecies about Messiah than any of the last 11 shorter prophetic Books. Jesus will come as Saviour, Judge, and ultimately righteous King. Not as a usurper.

Like many prophets, Zechariah can see isolated snapshots of the future that may have big gaps of time between them.

Depressing events in Judah and beyond are counteracted by his overflowing hope which is the rule of Messiah in the future Millennium.

That is the real focus of Jewish prophecy.

His grandfather Iddo means “timely”.   His father Berechiah means “blessing”.

Despite everything that goes wrong, God’s blessings are timely and will sustain His people because God remembers His Big Plan and all His promises. Everything will end up well for those who believe and trust God.

We must not be disillusioned by the present distress.

Rather keep your eyes on the long-term goal which is the final triumph in the 1000 years of peace.

We must obey the Word of God as the Absolute truth

We are not allowed to ignore God’s Word or disobey God’s Word.

God’s Word is true for our present problems as well as for what lies ahead far into the future.

ZECHARIAH 1:2   The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

God was unhappy with the Jews that were taken into the Babylonian exile. That was a punishment for their sins.

ZECHARIAH 1:3   Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

God has a rule. We must turn back to Him and His Word if we expect Him to turn to us.

ZECHARIAH 1:4   Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

The Jewish fathers ignored the Word of God that came from the prophets. Thus, they never accepted God as their true King while they dwelled in the Promised Land under their human kings.

They preferred to follow the dictatorship of human kings. Following a human leader is very convenient because then we do not have to search for God's Will. But human leaders would always be a disaster.

We have to acknowledge our sinful ways and repent before we can get right with God.

We cannot turn back to God just by praying, although prayer is obviously a very good attribute of God’s Spirit.

We also have to be careful to turn back to the revealed truth of God’s Word.

It does not help to pray energetically while we continue to believe error.

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The proof of the Holy Ghost baptism is our ability to understand the truth of the Bible.

JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

God sent the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles and prophets of the New Testament to establish the first church age. The church then fell away from that early example, just like the Jews forsook God before the Babylonian captivity.

ZECHARIAH 1:5   Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

Where is the example that the early church set that the later church then abandoned?

Paul and the original apostles and prophets did not last forever. Finally John, the prophet and apostle, died about AD 100. Then the church began to fall away from the New Testament teachings.

ZECHARIAH 1:6   But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

During the captivity in Babylon, some of the fathers began to acknowledge God’s Word. They began to admit their sinful state and realize that they deserved to be captives.

Being crushed by their Babylonian oppressors had done them good.

Hardship brings out the best in us humans. Success often destroys us.

Character is hammered out on the anvil of difficulty and defeat.

Anything to do with restoration is dangerous

ZECHARIAH 1:7   Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

Zechariah and Berechiah are Hebrew words.  Zacharias and Barachias are the Greek spelling.

MATTHEW 23:35   That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

The prophet Zacharias (or Zechariah) who prophesied of restoration and the Jews going back to their Promised Land at the end-time and meeting Messiah in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation, was going to be killed by the Jews.

Abel to Zechariah (or Zacharias) means from A to Z.  All of them.

The death of all these prophets who told the people the truth just shows how vehemently people will always reject the revelation of the truth from Scripture.

The last church age Bride being restored back to the beliefs of the first church age is dangerous and the end-time Bride will be opposed by all the churches, including message-churches who believe some variation of the unwritten 7 Thunders and the unwritten 7^th Seal as well as the unwritten new name that nobody can know.

REVELATION 19:12   His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns;

and he had a name written, that no man knew,

but he himself.

(Variations of the truth are deadly. Variations or variants of the COVID-19 coronavirus are very dangerous and infectious).

Claiming brother Branham is the infallible Voice of God has been a huge mistake of message-churches. But they will totally reject you if you tell them this.

It is both lonely and dangerous to stand up for the truth as the Bride is finally restored to the New Testament truth.

Red and white horses are church politics and deception

Red speaks of bloodshed and political force. White speaks of cunning and lies.

The Roman Catholic church placed its evident faith in force and cunning

as they persecuted and manipulated the Jews and the church people.

ZECHARIAH 1:8   I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

Night speaks of darkness. The Jews lost their spiritual vision when they crucified Messiah. That was their darkest night.

“In the bottom”. Things are at their lowest ebb. The Jews are a minority and have to win against all odds.

“Myrtle trees” speak of the future 1000-year Kingdom of peace when all of God’s promises will come to fulfillment.

Myrtle trees symbolize the good promises of God for the future.

But that antichrist spirit as it rides the red horse of political power over the blood of its victims would turn the church from a shelter of refuge into a trap of deception.

NEHEMIAH 8:15   And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

The eight-day feast of booths also called the feast of Tabernacles represented the 1000-year Millennium which will be the first Heaven, the first taste of Heaven on earth because Jesus will rule. This must be our end goal as we struggle through this present vale of tears.

LEVITICUS 23: 34  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

:35   On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

:36   Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Seven speaks of completion. Seven days make a complete week. The eighth day speaks of a new system. So, the 7 days of the feast of booths or tabernacles will blend into the new system of eternity as the new Heaven and the new earth take over after the Millennium.

But among the myrtle trees which represent God’s final reward for His true Jewish believers, there is the antichrist spirit of Satan on his horse of political power. Wherever God moves, Satan follows.

Satan offered the political kingdoms of this earth to Jesus which shows that Satan rules politics.

MATTHEW 4:8   Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

:9   And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

There was only one political horse rider, the antichrist spirit of Satan. He dominates the political world.

Zechariah wants to tell some of the history of the Jews during the seven church ages as the Jews are scattered and persecuted amongst the nations. The political forces of the nations (symbolized by red horses) tried hard to destroy the Jews but the fact that the Jews were scattered saved them. Jews were destroyed in one country but survived in other countries.  Being scattered, there was no one political power that could destroy them.

And then finally, against all odds, they started returning to Israel in the 1900s.

The red horse speaks of political power and bloodshed.

The Jew’s history amongst the Gentiles would be stained with blood as different Gentile political powers endlessly sought to persecute and kill them.

This began in a horrific manner in AD 70 when the pagan Roman general Titus destroyed both the Temple and the city of Jerusalem, killing 1,100,000 Jews. About 90,000 Jews were taken to Rome as slaves in order to build the Colosseum with the gold that was looted from the Jewish Temple. Christians would be fed to the lions in this Colosseum.

“Behind him were there red horses”.

Red is symbolic of bloodshed which is caused by those who exercise political power.

More and more political persecutions would be inflicted on the Jews by other nations from Europe to Russia, as well as the Arab countries.

Europe really hated the Jews between 1000 and 1450

Persecution in Europe reached its first peak between 1000 – 1450.

Jews were frequently massacred and exiled from various European countries. The persecution reached its first peak during the Crusades. In the First Crusade (1096), flourishing Jewish communities on the Rhine and the Danube rivers were utterly destroyed by church-going armies. A prime example being the Rhineland massacres of Jews by German Christians.  In the Second Crusade (1147) the Jews in France were subject to frequent massacres. The Jews were also subjected to attacks by the Shepherd's Crusades of 1251 and 1320. The Crusades were followed by expulsions, including in 1290, the banishing of all English Jews. In 1396, 100,000 Jews were expelled from France; and in 1421, thousands were expelled from Austria. Many of the expelled Jews fled to Poland.

1492 saw all the Jews expelled from Spain.

As the Black Death epidemics devastated Europe in the mid-14th century, annihilating more than a half of the population, Jews were taken as scapegoats. Rumors spread that they caused the disease by deliberately poisoning wells.  Hundreds of Jewish communities were destroyed by violence in the Black Death Persecutions.

During World War 2, the dictator Hitler, who had been helped to power by the Pope, unleashed horrific demonology on the Jews and 6 million Jews perished in the awful Holocaust. Then, at this worst of times for the Jews, the Promised Land was gallantly won back in four wars against Arab nations.

Zionism was the political dream that produced the state of Israel.

So, the red horses of political violence from many nations marched against the Jews.

Eventually, in the 1800s the Zionists realized that they needed their own homeland of Israel if they were to survive these endless attacks. How could they win against the overwhelming odds of the Arab nations who hated them?

Then God raised up the power of America to back the Jews. The Jews now have the strongest airforce in the Middle East and have become a fearsome military power. They now ride a very powerful red horse themselves.

God is starting to restore the Jews.

ZECHARIAH 1:8   I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

“Speckled” horses are typically white horses or pale grey horses that are covered with many red spots.

They are a definite mixture of two colours. One colour is the obvious spots of red that symbolize the blood of slain Jews.

In Europe, Jews were massacred once or twice every century. Fearful Russian pogroms killed many Jews.

The white speaks of religious deception. The Jews, in a New Testament world, have to try to serve God in an Old Testament way that lacks the focal point of the Old Testament, the Temple and the blood of its sacrifices. Thus, they have to serve God as best they can in this unfulfilled way, and unknown to themselves, they have to be killed just for being Jews. That is why there is so much hatred in the world against the Jews. Thus, Jews have been regularly killed throughout church history. Their red spots of blood, as they are murdered, buys their salvation as they rejected the blood of the Lord.

Then the Muslims exploded on the scene after the death of Muhammed and their hatred of the Jews and their desire to persecute or kill them have continued to this day amongst the Arab people and the Iranians. The Muslims have a totally wrong religion that offers no guarantee of Heaven unless the individual is killed as a martyr in a Jihad or "holy war" against the Jews. Then he lives with 70 virgins in Heaven. But there is no blood in Heaven. Without blood there can be no sex. Thus this false promise is just the white horse of religious deception. Splattered with the red blood spots of slain Jews.

The pale grey horse is speckled with red spots. This speaks of the mass murder by the pale horse in the Fourth Seal which represents the death of one-quarter of the world, which is about 2 billion people, in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

REVELATION 6:8    And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Grey is a compromised and vague colour. Compromising with error does not work.

The Jews went through the industrialized death of Hitler’s awful pre-great Tribulation death camps in the Second World War when 6 million were killed as a preview of the impending horrors of the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

If 2 billion are killed in 3.5 years we have to try to picture 11 million being killed each week.

Hitler’s whole awful Holocaust would be over in one week.

This great Tribulation will be a time of trouble such as we cannot imagine.

Speckled white with red spots represents the religious Jews being murdered throughout our church history because of their Jewish beliefs.

Speckled pale grey with red spots represents the mass murder of two-thirds of the 9 million European Jews in the 1940s in the German Holocaust as well as in the murderous rage of the pagan Roman army when they slaughtered over a million Jews in the destruction of Jerusalem and their Temple in AD 70.

Then, great Tribulation will be the third large-scale massacre of the Jews. Two-thirds of today’s 18 million Jews will die. That is about 12 million.

ZECHARIAH 1:8   I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

“White” represents the spiritual deception that gave rise to the Roman Catholic Church and then moved on to undermine the Protestant churches.

Churches called the Jews  “Christ-killers”.

The churches forgot that it was our sins that drove Jesus to the cross. We could not be forgiven unless He died in our place. Thus all of us caused Christ to die. To just blame the Jews is religious deception. The white horse.
MATTHEW 12:40   For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday morning. To spend three nights in the tomb, that had to be Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. Thus the crucifixion had to be on a Thursday.

The Council of Nicea in AD 325 changed the day of Christ's death from a Thursday to a Friday and called it by the unscriptural name of Good Friday. Then they changed the date from the time of the full moon because that was when the Jews celebrated Passover. The Catholic Church fixed Friday as Easter day every year, ignoring the full moon. So their hatred of the Jews made them change the date of the crucifixion. The white horse of religious deception that also changed the Sabbath day to Sunday.

Saturday or Sunday as a Sabbath only gives rest from physical work. We need the Holy Ghost baptism to give us rest from sin by removing the desire to sin. That is the true Sabbath that prepares us for thre Millenniun of 1000 years of Rest. That was God's original Sabbath that Adam and Eve wrecked. A day with God is 1000 years. The Millennium will fulfill this Sabbath day of rest.

II PETER 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Many nations tried forced conversions to turn Jews into Christians. That was religious deception. We have to accept Jesus as Saviour of our own free-will because we are sick and tired of our own sinful state and we are keen to repent of our sins, not because we are forced to repent. Some Jews got absorbed into the churches as religion was very important to Europe’s economic history and Jews played a big part in the economic lives of the countries. But being a part of the Catholic church system was religious deception because there is no salvation in church membership.

Brutal political oppression keeps the nations at rest

ZECHARIAH 1:9   Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.

Who are these horses and the rider?

In the good myrtle trees, they look like the forces of God.

But they are infiltrators. Satan moving to and fro through the church world to deceive and destroy.

ZECHARIAH 1:10    And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said,

These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

JOB 1:7   And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said,

From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

ZECHARIAH 1:11   And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

Satan walks to and fro through the earth to keep political control over the people.

Satan is happy with his enforced political suppression that brutally keeps the world at peace.

Empires are built upon the cheap labour of slavery. The captive and enslaved nations expect no rescue. The slaves got no freedom. Those who were downtrodden got no helping hand.

The pagan Romans would create a brutal desolation and then call it “peace”.

In the Dark Ages, the Roman Catholic Church ruled Europe and killed tens of millions of dissenters. The silence of the graveyard was their description of being “at rest”.

ZECHARIAH 1:12   Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

Zechariah is looking into the future.

The Jews had returned from Babylon to Judah. They were starting to rebuild. But the so-called “rest” that Satan spoke of concerning the nations was simply because they were suppressed by powerful armies. This was not the rest and mercy that the prophet wanted for Judah. Soon the Greeks under Antiochus Epiphenes would introduce the nakedness of Greek culture to the Jews. Then he would desecrate the Temple altar by offering up a pig on it. The Maccabee family defeated Antiochus but then forced the Jewish religion on the people of Idumea who were just south of Judeah. Then king Herod, who was an Idumean, would rebuild the Temple but kill thousands of Jews in his cruel reign. Then Rome would destroy the Temple and the city of Jerusalem in AD 70. There was not much mercy available to the Jews in the near future.

So Zechariah had to look further into the future for mercy.

The pagan Roman Empire would be destroyed by barbarian tribes in AD 476 and then it would resurrect back to life on the ruins of the pagan Roman Empire as the Roman Catholic Church. There was going to be no mercy for the Jews there. Especially in the horrific Spanish Inquisition that tortured and killed in order to confiscate a person’s property and possessions. They would torture a Jew until he agreed to convert. But the priests and informers did not want his repentance, they wanted his possessions. So when he agreed to convert, then they quickly killed him to stop his backsliding in the future. When he was dead, then they were able to confiscate his goods and possessions and divide it up amongst the informers and the church. Needless to say, it was rich Jews who were often tortured.

The Jews were in for a troubled and dangerous 2000 years of the church ages.

So, Zechariah is looking into the future for a glimpse of the Jews in the 1000-year Kingdom of Peace. This will be when all of God’s promises to the Jews come to pass.

ZECHARIAH 1:13    And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.

The final end of the true Jewish believer will be 1000 years of peace in the Millennium. Try to imagine a better end to life on planet Earth. These are good words.

This is a good vision of the future.

What a comforting and comfortable future.

God’s final mercy on Jerusalem will be long and glorious.

ZECHARIAH 1:14   So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

Jealous means God is watchful and vigilant. God will not in any way move away from the written Scriptures. God will come back to rescue the Jews in great tribulation time.

Donald Trump had no chance of winning the 2016 Presedential election. Then he said that he would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Against all odds, he won.

In 2020, Bernie Sanders was far away the leader in the Democratic elections with Biden far behind. Then Sanders foolishly said he would move the embassy out of Jerusalem, back to Tel Aviv. Immediately his campaign crashed and Biden took over and won.

So God is watching the events in Jerusalem as He prepares to return to the Jews when our seventh church age is over.

A “cry”.

It is a midnight cry that wakes up all the wise and foolish virgins, clean women, who represent the saved Christians at the end. They are told to “go out” of their churches because God is so jealous of His written Word that He will not accept the unscriptural compromises and man-made traditions that exist in every church. Never in the New Testament was one man put in charge of a local church. Each local church was supposed to be run by a group of local elders.

The true Bride has to be able to understand the mysteries of Scripture in order to be restored back to the Bible beliefs of the early church that was established by the apostles.

MATTHEW 25:5   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

:6     And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Zion means the spiritual purpose of God’s Plan for the natural Jews and the church who are spiritual Israel.

ZECHARIAH 1:15    And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

The Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in a vicious rage. It was the cruelest destruction of a city in their history as over one million Jews were killed. The pagans enslaved and oppressed the groaning people and were thus able to live at ease as the slaves did all the hard and brutal work.

That is how the Roman Empire grew. Grasping tax collectors, swords stained with blood, and the free labour of brutalized slaves.

God being “a little displeased” with the Jews meant that Jewish kings and princes were murdered by the Babylonians. Tens of thousands were enslaved and deported to Babylon. Their possessions were stolen, their women ravished, and their children were dashed to pieces. The Temple and the wall of Jerusalem were razed to the ground. The Temple treasure was looted.

Can you imagine what God will do at Armageddon when He is very angry?

But the pagan nations helped to persecute the Jews and thus afflicted the Jews for God.

If God wanted to punish the Jews, the Gentile heathens were more than willing to carry out God’s punishment far more viciously than what God intended.

The timeline of God stretches out to the Millennium

ZECHARIAH 1:16   Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

The second Temple was already built. 

So Zechariah looks far ahead to the Temple that will be built for the Millennium.

A prophetic time-line will be stretched forth upon Jerusalem that will stretch beyond its destruction as the capital of Israel in AD 70 by the pagan Roman general Titus. This time-line will stretch to 2018 when President Trump would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, again.

Then the time-line stretches into the 3.5 years of great Tribulation when the 144000 Jews receive the Messiah. One-third of the rest of the Jews will survive as two-thirds will perish.

ZECHARIAH 13:8   And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

Then the time-line stretches for another 1000 years of peace across the Millennium as the Messiah rules the world from Jerusalem.

When Armageddon ends and the Millennium starts, then the great Temple of Ezekiel will be built in the northern portion of Jerusalem. Levites have to live in a city, so the tribe of Levi will live in the northern part of Jerusalem.

Joseph was the first born son of Rachel. His double portion was that each of his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, each got a portion of the Promised Land in his place.

ZECHARIAH 1:17   Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

This looks forward to the Millennium when Jesus rules from Jerusalem and the entire world will experience 1000 years of peace.

This is the real reward for the Jews as they become the main nation of the earth.

Prosperity will spread forth over the world as people work to co-operate rather than to produce conflict.

Mount Zion and Jerusalem will be the centre of the world.

Man will be elevated to take the place of God

The final scattering and killing of the Jews will be in great Tribulation. This will be done by the final antichrist Pope who will demand to be worshiped as God on earth.

ZECHARIAH 1:18   Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.

A horn is a power.

DANIEL 8:8   Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

"The four winds of Heaven".

The prophecy becomes spiritual and looks deeper than the four kingdoms that formed from Alexander’s empire.

Alexander the Great was a Greek. He was the first Western man to be worshiped as a god-king in the West.

When he died, four generals divided up his empire and also called themselves god-kings.

The high priest or Pontiff of the Babylonian mysteries had fled with his priests to Pergamos when Cyrus the Persian conquered Babylon. The position of Pontiff was then offered to the god-king of Pergamos who then also became the Pontiff of the Babylonian mysteries. The last god-king of Pergamos, Attalus III, gave his kingdom to Rome in his will when he died in 133 BC.

In 63 BC Julius Caesar bribed his way to becoming Pontiff and then he became Dictator of Rome. His family became Emperors as well as Pontiff. After his death, the city of Pergamos built a temple to Caesar and began to worship him as a god. Pergamos then got permission to worship Augustus, the first Emperor, while he was still alive. So, Caesar-worship entered Rome.

Consequently, Pergamos is called the “seat of Satan” for successfully making a god out of a man.

Pergamos a trinity doctrine of three males. Father and son and a very vague third person.

This doctrine went to Rome where the third Person was replaced by the Holy Ghost, to produce the Church Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The mysteries of Babylon moved from Babylon to Pergamos to Rome. And stayed in Rome.

DANIEL 8:9   And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

The smallest country on earth is Vatican City. Only about 150 people with a Vatican passport work there. It is less than one square kilometer in size. Yet it is the nerve centre of the powerful Roman Catholic Church with its 1.4 billion members.

The influence of Roman Catholicism has infiltrated the Protestant churches who also believe in Trinity, Christmas, Good Friday, one man is the head of each church, etc.

The queen of the South was the queen of Sheba that Jesus speaks well of. A good woman symbolizes the wise virgins or the true church.

MATTHEW 12:42   The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

She came from deep in Africa. Black absorbs light. The dark skins of the people of Africa symbolize their ability to absorb the Light of the Word of God. So Africa, which is South of Israel, is a poor continent but well spoken of by Jesus.

It was Simon of Cyrene, a man from Africa, who helped Jesus to carry His cross at the end of His First coming.

So, Africa should be able to provide people who can absorb the truth of the Bible mysteries and carry the cross of the rejected Word of God. The written Word has been rejected and condemned in favour of man-made interpretations of quotes.

Thanks to Roman Catholicism developing denominational religion, its influence has spread to all the Protestant churches.

Cain went East and took his lying and murderous demons with him. From the East we get demonology. That has infiltrated the churches.

The pleasant land is Israel. Rome will eventually make a covenant with the Jews for their Stock Exchange money.

Thus the little horn or tiny Vatican power will eventually rule the world.

In AD 382 the newly appointed Roman Emperor Theodosius in the East at Constantinople, refused, as a Christian, to call himself Pontiff. He handed the title of Pontiff over to his uncle Damasus who was Bishop of Rome. So the Babylonian mysteries and the Babylonian priesthood were absorbed into the Roman Catholic Church with the elevation of the Pontiff or Pope who now called himself Vicarius Christi, the man who stands in the place of Christ.

Then Mary got elevated by them to Heaven where she is prayed to and worshiped as the co-redeemer with Christ.

Then the Roman Catholics prayed to the dead saints.

Praying to the dead is spiritualism. It means those dead saints cannot be in Heaven if the Catholics are able to contact them. Thus they effectively drag those saints down from Heaven.

DANIEL 8:10   And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

Then the Pope or Pontiff elevated himself to be the Successor of Peter, the man that you have to please if you want to get into Heaven because only Peter has the keys that can open the Door to Heaven.

This makes our salvation depend on Peter. That claim drags Peter out of Heaven as a fake because only Jesus can save us. No man has any say in our salvation. It is purely an issue between the individual and Jesus.

But Peter opened the Door to Heaven by telling us to Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

ACTS 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The Roman Catholic Church claims to open the Door to heaven for you only if you are in obedience to the Pope.

The Pope is the head of the Vatican, the smallest state on earth which is the nerve centre of the Roman Catholic church. That is the little horn of Daniel that grew out of the one Greek horn or kingdom, the kingdom of Pergamum where the city of Pergamos was.

DANIEL 8:11   Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

The Pope claims the title of Vicarius Christi, "In place of Christ".

Since 1870 the Pope has claimed to be infallible.

This is just elevating a man (Nicolaitanism) to replace Christ. What he says is more important than what the Bible says.

His quotes replace Scripture. But God hates the Nicolaitans. The people however love the elevated human leaders.

It was the Romans who crucified Christ and that ended the daily Jewish sacrifices in AD 33. Then in AD 70 the Romans destroyed the sanctuary which was the Temple.

Thanks to the wealth and political power of the Vatican as well as their huge worldwide membership of 1.4 billion people, the stage is now set for the final antichrist man of sin to usurp the position of Pope which will enable him to take over the world and then to try to destroy the Jewish people.

Four issues that caused the Jews to scatter

ZECHARIAH 1:19   And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

The powers that scattered the Jews:

1. Rejection of Messiah as the Word of God and not believing the New Testament as Infallible.

The pagan Romans crucified Jesus. The pagan Roman Empire was destroyed by the barbarians in AD 476 but that cruel and murderous pagan spirit resurrected back to life as the Roman Catholic Church.

The pagan Romans rejected Jesus as a Man. The Roman Catholic Church rejected Jesus as the Word of God by rejecting the 1769 Version of the King James Bible.

The mother Catholic church and her daughter Protestant churches have done much persecution of the Jews during the 2000 years of church history. Today, most churches criticize the King James Version of ther Bible.

2. Demonic hatred of Jews is called anti-Semitism. This was unleashed by pagan Rome in AD 70 as they killed 1,100,000 Jews when they destroyed the Temple. It reached a horrific level when Hitler killed 6 million Jews during the Holocaust of the Second World War.

3. Worshiping a man as God is what the Jews could never accept. Claiming that you must be obedient to the Pope before Peter will open the Door to Heaven for you, is something the Jews will never accept. Nor the Catholic worship of Mary.

Today, message people elevate brother Branham to the Godhead as the Son of man. The infallible Voice of God. The Jews will never accept that. This Nicolaitan elevation of a man (or Mary) keeps the Jews from wanting to accept the New Testament.

4. Believing in the Trinity is what the Jews can never accept.

These 4 issues will scatter the Jews during the seven church ages as they do not want anything to do with the church.

These ideas emerged out of Greece, especially the city of Pergamos which was in the Kingdom of Pergamum, that emerged from one of the four kingdoms of Alexander’s Empire, which was originally ruled by general Lysimachus.

This influence of Greek philosophy that produced the Trinity doctrine is why the city is called Pergamos with a Greek ending of -os. The city is usually called Pergamum.

"One-God-in-three-Persons" is Greek philosophy, it is not Scriptural.

"Father and Son are of the same essence" is Greek philosophy as it is not Scriptural.

"Eternal Sonship" is Greek philosophy, it is not Scriptural.

Four men who establish the full Bible Truth

ZECHARIAH 1:20   And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.

Four men established that Jesus is Almighty God.

Paul writing in the New Testament. The messenger to the first church age established the foundation of the New Testament.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

All of the Spirit of God dwells in the Man Jesus. There is no place for three Persons here.

William Branham, the messenger to the seventh church age, who has to restore us to the written New Testament of the first church age.

MATTHEW 17:11   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Moses and Elijah are the two Jewish prophets in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

They have to study brother Branham's teachings in order to learn the truths that Saint Paul established at the beginning. Then, they will be able to take the New Testament truth to the 144000 Jews as great Tribulation sweeps the world.

By Revelation Chapter 15 the time of great Tribulation sweeps the earth. Moses leads the 144000 back to accept Jesus as Messiah. Look what He says in the “song of the Lamb”.

The Lamb is Lord God Almighty.

REVELATION 15:3   And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

“Thou only art holy”. Only the Lamb is holy. If there are two other People, then they cannot also be holy.

REVELATION 15:4   Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name?

for thou only art holy:

Moses in great Tribulation makes it clear that there is no Trinity.

The Lord God Almighty has a name. The Trinity God has no name. You cannot find one name for three People.

The Lamb has a name, Jesus.

So Jesus Christ is the name of the Lord God Almighty.

God will restore. Stay faithful and wait patiently.

What must the carpenters do?

Paul cast down the power of the Gentiles by pulling the Gentiles out of the unscriptural Greek philosophy of paganism.

Typical Greek philosophy has the following statements which easily infiltrated the Catholic Church after the death of the apostles.

Trinity. One God in three Persons. Father and Son are of the same substance or same essence. God the Son.

The Trinity God has no name. The Greeks had an Unknown God.

So Greek philosophy was quite happy to produce a Triune God Who had no name.
ACTS 17:23   For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Paul then warned us to stay away from philosophy, which is the basis of the Trinity doctrine. Looking for vague hints in the Bible that are supported by unscriptural statements. Contradicting Scriptures like Acts 2:38.
COLOSSIANS 2:8    Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy

and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

ZECHARIAH 1:21   Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them,

to cast out the horns of the Gentiles,

which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

Scattering the Jews around the world was a physical event that symbolized a much deeper problem. The scattering of the Jews away from the New Testament Bible truth. The church achieved this by adopting the unscriptural Trinity and then elevating a man to the godhead. The Pope can forgive sins if you buy his indilgences. That is where the money came from to build St Peters Church in Vatican City. Only God can forgive sins. They claim the Pope is infallible and that only Peter can open the Door to Heaven for you. So Peter takes the place of Christ to let you into Heaven.

This doctrine will be destroyed by Moses and Elijah as they will be the only ones who can exercise the great supernatural power that will be needed to protect the Jews because they will be able to interfere with nature.

The Trinity doctrine was established in the church at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325.

This was a major reason for the Jews being scattered because they could not accept the Trinity idea.

In addition, the Catholic Church cruelly persecuted them, expelled them, and killed them because they rejected the Trinity doctrine.

All non-Trinitarians were persecuted and often killed by the churches.

“So that no man did lift up his head”. People in the churches are too scared to oppose the Trinity.

A Protestant man Servetus opposed the Trinity in the days of the great Protestant reformer John Calvin. Calvin simply had Servetus burned at the stake.

No wonder that everyone found it safer to believe in the Trinity.

But Moses and Elijah will cast out that Gentile church doctrine of Trinity when they lead the Jews to Christ as Lord God Almighty during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

"Fray them".  Rub out or wear out those horns. The doctrine of the Trinity will be unravelled by the two prophets to the Jews and brother Branham to the Gentile church.
