Wise men and the Star

25 December is the birthday of the pagan sun god Sol Invictus, the Unconquerable Sun. His birthday conquered the church

The star was not a literal star. They followed it from east to west for 2 years. Stars are only visible for 6 months as they move from East to West before they disappear behind the earth for the next six months. When they got to Jerusalem the star stopped. Natural stars do not stop. Jerusalem was the headquarters of the Jewish religion. But there was no light there. (Just like today's churches).  So, the star disappeared until they left Jerusalem. Natural stars do not do that. The obvious lesson is that church leaders do not have a clue what is going on today. They know enough to get people saved from hell, but do not know how to prepare the people for the Coming of the Lord. They do not know how to save the people from the oncoming great Tribulation.

Matthew 25 has a parable about the wise virgins. A woman represents a church. The true church is the Bride of Christ. But the wise virgins, despite being Spirit-filled, are fast asleep at the end time. When some disaster, a cry at midnight, wakes them up they are told to go out of whatever church they are in to meet the Bridegroom. Just like the wise men had to go out from Jerusalem to meet the Lord in Bethlehem.

MATTHEW 2:9   “When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

:10     When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.”

Then the star moved south to Bethlehem. Stars only move from east to west as the earth rotates, never south.

A star over Bethlehem would be above all the buildings and would not indicate the house where Jesus was.

So, it had to come right down until it hovered over the house. (The wise men did not go to a stable).

The star was actually the Holy Ghost that looked like a star. The Holy Ghost guides people to Jesus Christ. The men were not wise because of their knowledge. They were wise because they sought Christ.

Wise men still seek Christ today.

Your wisdom is measured by the extent to which you seek and understand the truth that is revealed in the King James Bible. Because Jesus is the Word of God.

Thus, your opinion of the King James Bible is your opinion of Jesus.

Only Mary and Jesus were in the house, not Joseph. Jesus was a young Child of about two years old. He was not a newborn Baby.

The Gospel of Luke describes His birth in the stable. Luke describes Jesus as the ideal Man. Born in poverty, He understands people because most people are poor.

Matthew describes Jesus as the King. Kings are not born in stables. But wise men came from far away to worship Him and bring suitable presents to show Who they thought He was. That was the best way to introduce the King.

MATTHEW 2:11 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

Consequently, it was not a natural star that guided them to Christ. It was the Holy Spirit that looked like a star.

Why did the wise men alone see it?

They alone appreciated what was happening. They alone understood what God was doing.

There are very few people who actually grasp God’s Plan for their specific age.

Hardly any Christians are aware that the church must be restored to the beliefs of the New Testament.

The seed that is harvested must be the same as the seed that was planted.

That is why  Jesus emphasizes that He is the First and the Last.

DANIEL 12:10 “…but the wise shall understand.”

The wise virgins in Matthew Chapter 25 made it to the Wedding Supper at the Coming of the Lord because only they understood God’s end-time Plan.

We can only be wise if we understand the end-time revelation of the mysteries of Scripture.

Jesus did not say that there would be many believers at the end time.

LUKE 18:8Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Very few people are spiritual enough to understand what God is doing today.

The presents of the wise men included gold that never rusts nor loses its shine and thus gold represents God.

Frankincense is hardened gum from a tree that makes a lovely smell in fire. Meat was burned as a sacrifice for sin. But scorched meat has a bad smell. Frankincense removes the bad smell from the sacrifice and turns it into an acceptable sacrifice.

Myrrh is used to embalm the dead.

The wise men knew that the young Child Jesus was God in the flesh coming to dwell with us as Emmanuel. As a Man, He had to perform an acceptable sacrifice. He had to die for our sins.

God is a supernatural Spirit. God cannot die.

They were wise because they understood what God was doing in their day.

Today, we are not wise.

Scripture never asks us to celebrate the Lord’s birth.

In AD 274, the pagan Roman emperor Aurelian declared 25 December in mid-winter to be the birthday of the sun god Sol Invictus. The Unconquerable Sun.

Aurelian had just killed the Pope on 22 December AD 274. But within a year, during AD 275, Aurelian was killed.

After 25 December, the days slowly get noticeably longer and hotter. The baby sun god is growing, claim the pagans.

Pope Julius 1, who died in AD 352, had established 25 December as Christ’s birthday around AD 350 in order to have a “Christian” celebration of the “birthday” of the Son of God. This was all very unscriptural and just made up to rival the pagan sun god's birthday. Catholics invented the Mass. The celebration was called Christ’s Mass, which became Christmas.

No shepherds are outside at night with their flocks around midwinter. They would freeze to death.

No presents were at the birth of Jesus. Just some sweaty shepherds after a long run so that they would not have noticed the smelly stable.

Lenin, a founder of communism, declared that Christmas was the continuation of capitalism by economic means.

Today Christmas is the biggest sales splurge of the year in many places.

The only time Jesus got angry was with the money changers who were making money in the Temple.

Jesus whipped them out of the Temple on Palm Sunday and then again on the next day, Monday. That crossed a line, so they killed Him on Thursday. Like Jonah, Jesus had to be in the tomb for three nights. Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. “Good Friday” is unscriptural. Nothing happened on the Friday.

Money and religion are a toxic brew. Never interfere with a pastor’s income. Yet, there is no Scripture that says that the tithes belong to the pastor. No Scripture says that a pastor was put in charge of a church. Only one New Testament Scripture refers to pastors. But, six Old Testament Scriptures condemn pastors. The churches pay their pastors and they deceive the church that the unscriptural Christmas Day on 25 December is an essential Christian celebration. A nice business model for pastors.

Jesus said that the poor are blessed but Woe unto you that are rich.

Christmas is a glitzy, popular deception.

Celebrating a certain day of the year is contrary to Scripture. It makes us be in bondage to beggarly elements.

Paul then describes us as waste-of-time Christians.

GALATIANS 4:9 “But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

:10   Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.”

25th day. 12th month. Christmas time. Every year.

GALATIANS 4:11 “I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.”

A Christmas tree is a pagan tradition.

JEREMIAH 10:2   “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.”

This verse tells us not to copy the heathen ways.

JEREMIAH 10:3 “For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.”

Cutting down a tree and then decorating it does not impress God.

But the church has fooled us into these habits. Just like the unscriptural Lent and the unscriptural Good Friday and the equally unscriptural Easter Monday.

Being fooled by modern-day church leaders, we become foolish virgins. Virgins are clean women representing saved people in the churches.

The foolish virgins are saved but fooled by church traditions or Churchianity.

In the parable of Matthew 25, the foolish virgins missed the Coming of the Lord and ended up being cruelly killed in great Tribulation.

By not being restored to the New Testament beliefs of the apostles, the foolish virgins have 45000 different types of churches and denominations to choose from.

An impossible choice. So, they just choose the most convenient church and hope for the best.

Having foolishly criticized the King James Bible as imperfect, the foolish virgins have now developed over 100 different versions of the English Bible.

Thus, they believe that there is no perfect Bible as new versions and translations and upgrades are continually appearing.

The Scriptures are the foundation of our faith.

ROMANS 10:17   “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

If you have no perfect Bible, then you cannot develop a perfect faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Word of God.

If the Bible is not perfect, then you are claiming that Jesus is not perfect.

That is a foolish decision made by the foolish virgins.

I can guess how unimpressed with the modern church Saint Paul must be.

After all, there is not a single end-time prophecy or end-time parable that says anything good about our end-time churches.

Who was the pagan Roman Emperor Aurelian, who began 25 December as a birthday celebration for his sun god?

He was a brilliant cavalry commander. The Roman Empire had split into three. That is what had weakened it. None of the three parts was particularly strong on its own. They needed to be united to be effective. He ruled the central part. He then invaded the western section and conquered that. The west had a weak leader. Then he advanced on the eastern section and conquered that. Neither of those leaders could match his military skills. Having re-united the empire he returned to Rome in the year 274 AD and declared 25 December the birthday of the sun god, Sol Invictus (the Unconquerable Sun) as a pagan feast that the united empire could celebrate. It proved an immensely popular religious festival. His name Aurelian sounded like the Aura of the sun and gave him credibility as the high priest of the sun god. Around AD 350, the bishop of Rome adopted this same festival for the Roman Catholic Church. So, the birthday of the sun god morphed into being the birthday of the Son of God. It then became known as Christ's Mass or Christmas. Thus the Unconquerable Sun did conquer the Christian church with its pagan birthday. Jeremiah Chapter 10 said we should not have a decorated tree, but the Unconquerable Sun said we should. Who do we obey? The pagan Romans had 12 days of giving gifts in December. So, we had to include that too. If it’s good enough for the pagans then it’s good enough for us Christians. The apparent solution comes from the presents of the wise men. The foolish virgins claim that the wise men brought gifts to the Baby Jesus in the stable. Not true.

Matthew Chapter 2:11 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother”.

It was a House. He was not a Baby but a young Child. No mention of Joseph or shepherds or animals. But who cares? Pagan Romans gave presents in December. So, the churches now claim that the wise men brought presents to the Baby in the stable. That just proves that churchgoers do not read the Bible carefully.

They just see what they want to believe.

(Easter eggs and hot cross buns anyone? Santa? The unscriptural “Good Friday” or “Easter Monday” or Lent?)

There you see the greatest unification that Aurelian made, uniting the church and paganism, after he had re-united the pagan Roman Empire. And just for the record, he persecuted Christians too. His nickname was Manu ad Ferrum. Hand to Steel. He solved problems by executing opposition with his sword.

So be careful about criticizing Christmas. The opposition will be fierce.
