The fulness of God needed a virgin birth

God was manifest in the flesh as Jesus Christ.

To achieve that Jesus had to be born of a virgin. When He was two years old wise men came to worship Him. When He was twelve He baffled the Jewish leaders with His wisdom.

Jesus never sinned. He never lied.  He never made a mistake.  He never had to repent. He never got His facts wrong.

He never married in order to have children through sex.

Jesus was washed in the waters of Jordan by a prophet to show that He was both the sacrificial Lamb as well as the High Priest. No-0ne else can fulfill these two roles.

He handed Himself over to His enemies for them to kill Him. As He was dying, the sun refused to shine. When He died there was a massive earthquake. He did not just die, because He used His death to offer up His sinless Life as a sacrifice on behalf of all the world's sinners. But He could not even stay dead for three days.

He went down to the regions of the lost and took the keys of death and hell from Satan.

His disciples only recorded His sayings on about 19 different occasions. He actually said very little. His ministry was very brief as it only lasted three and a half years.

He was born in a smelly stable. He owned almost nothing. He had to borrow a boat, a donkey and her colt, an upper room, and a tomb. He died amongst convicted criminals.

Yet the calendar that we base our time on starts with his lowly birth.

Such is a Man Who is God incarnate, God dwelling in flesh.

William Branham could not duplicate any of this incredible life story.

COLOSSIANS 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

JOHN 3:34   For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God:

for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

:35     The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Only the Man Jesus had all fullness of the Spirit.
COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

He had the Spirit without measure.
JOHN 3:34   For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

The fulness of God was near brother Branham not in him

65-0725M  The Anointed Ones At The End Time

Now, I want you to know this is sure, and you that listen to this tape. You might have thought today that I was trying to say that about myself, being that I was packing this Message.

I have no more to do with it than nothing, no more than just a voice.

And, my voice, even against my better judgment; I wanted to be a trapper. But it's the will of my Father that I declare to do, and determined to do.

I wasn't the One that appeared down on the river; I was only standing there when He appeared.(1933)

I'm not the One that performs these things and foretells these things that happens as perfect they are;

I'm only one that's near when He does it.

I was only a voice that He used, to say It.

It wasn't what I knew; it's what I just surrendered myself to, that He spoke through. 

It isn't me, it wasn't the seventh angel, 

oh, no; it was the manifestation of the Son of man. It wasn't the angel, his message; it was the mystery that God unfolded. It's not a man; it's God. 

The angel was not the Son of man;

he was the messenger from the Son of man.

Brother Branham has a portion of God’s Spirit. He does not have the fullness of God’s Spirit. Notice carefully.

“I am only the one that is near when He does it”.

The fullness of God was not in brother Branham. The fullness of God was near him, just using his voice to speak to the people.

“The seventh angel was not the Son of man”.

The Spirit of Christ as THE Son of Man stood next to William Branham who was a son of man, and spoke through him. Thus Christ revealed Himself through a prophet, but the fullness of Christ was not in the prophet but was next to the prophet.

Brother Branham was a son of man revealing THE Son of Man who stood invisibly next to brother Branham.

The supernatural attracted the attention of the people.

Brother Branham's main ministry was to reveal the mysteries of the King James Bible to us.

Thus he revealed Jesus Christ to us as the Word of God that can be understood.
63-0318 THE  FIRST  SEAL
Takes the Book of Seals and breaks them and shows the seventh angel, for this alone, the mysteries of God, is the ministry of the seventh angel.

I CORINTHIANS 12:11  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,

dividing to every man severally as he will.

“Severally” in Greek is “meros”.  The dictionary says “meros” means in part, partly,

in a measure,

to some degree, as respects a part, severally, individually.

Each individual gets a different part or measure of the Spirit for his or her part in God’s plan.

Christ, walking in the midst of the seven candlesticks, is responsible for the whole of God’s plan for the 2000 years of church history. Brother Branham was just a star in His right hand, like Martin Luther and John Wesley were just stars in His right hand. They were responsible just for guiding their age. Thus they only had a sufficient part or measure of the Spirit for their specific individual ministries.
REVELATION 1:13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man,

Jesus was in the midst of the seven church ages throughout all the 2000 years of church history.
REVELATION 1:16   And he had in his right hand seven stars:

Here we see a comparison between Jesus and William Branham. Brother Branham is just a star in His right hand, and that star has to be held by His right hand.

Brother Branham had a much bigger measure of the Spirit than what you and I get, but only a measure never-the-less.

Paul, the first of the seven stars in God's right hand, was also mistakenly deified because of his spectacular power.

ACTS 14:10   Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

:11     And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia,

The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

It repeats today. Message believers claim that God has come down in the likeness of William Branham -- Incarnate in William Branham.

ACTS 14:13     Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates,

and would have done sacrifice with the people.

:14     Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

:15     And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

Neither Paul nor William Branham was the Creator. So they cannot be God.

It's exactly, the Pillar of Fire of the Lord.

I'm watching and waiting for the Holy Spirit. How many ever seen the picture of it?

Let's see your hands. Sure, I guess all of you have. It's here somewhere. A Pillar of Fire, the American Photographer Association took the picture of it. It's copyrighted in Washington, DC, the only supernatural being was ever scientifically photographed in all the history of the world. See at Washington if that isn't right. Examined by George J. Lacy, head of the FBI, fingerprint and document. It's true.

The Pillar of Fire was next to him, above him, not in him.

Look like you could see that Light, the emerald colored Light hanging right there by the lady.

That's the Holy Spirit in the form of a Light.

Now, wait, critics, don't you think that isn't the Holy Spirit. What was It called Paul on the road to Damascus?

The Spirit was over the lady, not in brother Branham.

Now, if they can still hear my voice, between me and the man comes that Light.

God was moving between the man and brother Branham.

The Spirit was between brother Branham and the man.

Damascus, and he was stricken down. And when Paul looked up, what was there? A Pillar of Fire. Is that right? And a Voice came from It, said, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me."

The Pillar of Fire was above the first church age messenger.

... that was the appearing of the Holy Spirit? Like a wind, a supernatural wind. Then they noticed.

And out in there was little tongues of fire, a hundred and twenty of them, and begin to

settle down and set upon each of them.

What was it? What was it? The Pillar of Fire, which was God Himself dividing Himself among His people,

coming into the people. Jesus had the whole thing;

He had the Spirit without measure; we get It by measure

(You see what I mean?), 'cause we're adopted children. His Eternal Life was coming in. Now, what happened? Then they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.

The Spirit divided up and “settled down” upon each one.

We, including brother Branham, get the Spirit by measure. Only Jesus had the 'whole thing'.

Mystic Light Appears Over Local Baptist Minister While Baptizing.

Stood there... It talked; people heard It talking back and forth. Thousands of people standing there watching me baptize from my first revival--five hundred converts--in the Ohio River... It was in the paper, newspaper clippings; we have it. Got on the Associated Press, Canada got it, all around over the country. "Mystic Light..."

Now, the scientific world has taken It. Now, they got It three or four different times.

"What do you say you're waiting on, Brother Branham?"

Everyone in here, no doubt, I been in Phoenix so many times, has seen It, preaching a message like this.

But, It's a Light.

They got the picture of It. Any, most all of you, have seen the Light. Haven't you? You got It on the pictures and things. Where, It's in Washington, D.C.

He waited for the Light that would move over people and then reveal their thoughts.

I'm waiting for that anointing.

And if it doesn't come, I'll just lay hands on the woman, pray for her, and go on. I don't know. I can't say. It's stalling, or I'm stalling, waiting for it. That's exactly right.

62-0122  CONFIRMATION  OF  THE  COMMISSION

Now, now just be reverent. You say, "What are you waiting on, Brother Branham?" For Him. I don't know that woman. If He don't anoint me, I can't do it. That's just all.

Filled with the Spirit is the Spirit going into a person.

Anointed is the Spirit resting on the person.

John  the Baptist denied being the Christ

II KINGS 2:15   And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

There was always this urge to deify a man who had the spirit of Elijah.

LUKE 3:15  And as the people were in expectation,

and all men mused in their hearts of John,

whether he were the Christ, or not;

JOHN 1:19   And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

:20     And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

John could not deny being Christ, which means anointed. But he was not the Christ.

John was a son of man, or prophet, not the Son of man.

It is a mistake to deify the prophet who shows us the revelations of the Bible.

REVELATION 22:8   And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen,

I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.  

(Brother Branham is also an angel, the seventh angel).

:9     Then saith he unto me,

See thou do it not:

for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets,

and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

John actually did this twice. Such is the strong obsession to deify the revealer of mysteries.

REVELATION 19:10   And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:

I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Please do not fall for this trick. No man can be God, or be equal to God. God was born of a virgin, never had to repent, and did not even stay in the grave for three days. Brother Branham did not start or finish like that.

CHURCH AGES CHAPTER 7

As this same Lord identified Himself with man in the incarnation, He is again identifying Himself with man by His Spirit within man.

He only mentions incarnation (of God) for Jesus, not for anyone else.

CHURCH AGES CHAPTER 10

And so on and on went that spirit and one day it will become truly

incarnate in a man who will head up the World Council of Churches,

just as we have been saying. And by his gold (remember Judas held the bag) he will control the whole world,

The final, man of sin, the final Pope, will have the Devil incarnate within him, just like Judas.

LUKE 22:3  Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

Judas was an apostle, a leader.

So Satan gets into the church through the church leader.

Brother Branham denied being Jesus Christ

Now this last day prophet-messenger will have such power before the Lord that

there will be those who mistake him for the Lord Jesus.

That is a very bad mistake to make.

Brother Branham, a sister came to the Tabernacle some eight hundred miles, and she said she believed

you are Jesus Christ incarnate.

Please speak on this. She was very impatient in trying to tell others what she thinks.

All right. Now, 'course the sister was wrong. I am not Jesus Christ;

I am His servant. We've went through that so many times.

Brother Branham was just a servant of Jesus.

Trying to claim that William Branham is Jesus Christ does not compliment brother Branham, it turns him into the enemy of Christ. So, please do not go down that path.

You'll have to know the Messiah by the Scriptures that wrote of Him.

Don't never leave the Scriptures, my son.

And Moses, our leader, has told us what the Messiah would be. For it is written in the Scriptures that, 'The Lord, our God, shall raise up a prophet among us.' And when this Messiah comes,

He will be a God Prophet. He will be different from other prophets.

He will be a God Prophet. But you'll know Him, Simon, because He will be that Prophet, and He will do the sign of a prophet.'

….I knowed His signs was beyond a prophet,

so He was a God Prophet.

Each of the seven messengers was just a star in the right hand of Jesus. None of the messengers could feed 5000 from 7 small pieces of a 'schoolboy’s lunch'. None of the messengers walked on water. None were born of a virgin. None rose from the dead within 3 days of dying. None ascended up to Heaven in a physical body.

Jesus, when He manifested Himself through a messenger, had to stand invisibly next to the messenger.

Brother Branham could discern thoughts, which was the sign of Messiah. But He could not tell us the details of the Tribulation like the 7 Trumpets or Vials. He said the 7 Thunders and 7^th Seal were total mysteries.

... and He opened that Seventh Seal. But you see, it's a hidden mystery.

No one knows it.

But... right along with what He said: no one would know His coming;

they also would not know about this seven thunder mystery.

So you see, it's connected together.

He could reveal the sixth Seal as referring to the interruption of nature, but he said that the two prophets to Israel would actually open the sixth Seal as brother Branham never struck the earth with plagues nor did he call for a three and a half year drought.

So his ministry was powerful, but still limited.

Jesus can do more than any prophet.

A prophet can only do part of what Jesus does.

A prophet only acts for his church age.

Jesus walked through all seven candlesticks, all seven ages.

Saying that brother Branham is God is a bad error

61-0611  REVELATION  CHAPTER  FIVE.1

I heard of it a few years ago and I thought it was a joke. And I met a couple brethren (which I don't see neither one of them in the meeting this morning), two or three of them one time in a fishing trip, and they approached me by the subject of saying,

"Brother Branham, aren't you the anointed Messiah, the Christ?"

And I put my arms around the neck of both brethren, or, all of them, and I said, "Brethren, as much as I have tried to be a true servant of Christ, I would not that you would say such a thing as that. And if it would ever be said of me, then I will leave the field with a clear conscience, and you who do that will be responsible for every soul that I would have saved during that time; see, for taking me from the field."

And I thought that ended it.

And I heard it a few more times. But it wasn't so. And the other day in Canada a brother showed me a little ticket of a thing he's packed in his pocket, said

"William Branham is our Lord," baptizing in the name of William Branham.

And a little... a precious... If it had been an enemy, if it had been my enemy I would have knowed it was a joke. But a precious, darling brother come up to confess his sins and his wrongs and

say his faith in me as being Jesus Christ.

…And up there, and them precious darling people, may they see their error and what they have did,

…When I'm gone, what will they say? "There he is, that's exactly what it was"

and all the influence that I had upon the people, then you see where it'd be,

I'd be an antichrist.

And I just couldn't stand it!

…And I stood still if people called me a prophet many times,

… but when it comes to be calling "Anointed Christ," or something, that was too much for me.

So I just couldn't stand that.

…A few nights ago, to make it sure, I had a visitation from the Lord. And I seen a serpent which was yellow and black, and telling me right along, and the thing struck me on the leg. But the blood was so rich it didn't take effect on me. And I looked down, and there's where I had been bit before. And I turned quickly with a gun and shot the thing, and it hit it right in the middle of the thing.

And a brother said... I turned with my gun to shoot its head off, and he said, "Don't do that, just pick up the stick laying there by you." And when I turned my back to pick up the stick,

it wiggled into some water, just a small puddle of water.

I said, "Well, it can't hurt very much longer now because I believe the brother realizes (the brethren) that what would happen." I said It's mortally wounded, so it'll die."

Brother Branham saw this snake, symbolizing the Deity doctrine that makes brother Branham to be God, disappear into a puddle of water, which speaks of doctrine, “washed in the water of the Word”.

He hoped it would die but never saw it die.

It was a Message brother who told him not to kill it, so it is Message brothers who will keep reviving this doctrine because it never died. It just got hidden in their doctrine, which is based on a little puddle of quotes. It is not a doctrine that can be proven just from Bible verses. The Bible is the River of Life.

This is the 'Deity doctrine' that keeps emerging in Message believers’ doctrine. They claim that brother Branham is God incarnate. It is a very dangerous doctrine. When the 7 angels came to brother Branham to commission him to reveal the Seven Seals, he was hunting in the area that contains Sunset Peak (the evening Light to take us back to Paul’s teachings) and Rattlesnake Mesa (the Devil’s perversion which says that brother Branham is God incarnate). You have to choose which direction you move in.

61-0611  REVELATION  CHAPTER  FIVE.1

And I have got letters at home, and calls from Chicago and different places, asking me if I believe that dogma.

And I got all kinds of letters that's come in the last few days, and calls from different places, so,

saying that I was Christ. Brethren, that is a horrible, disgraceful, ungodly lie of the Devil! See?

See, I am your brother. Now, that would run any person from the field. That would make anyone that loves Christ run from the very thing.

….it's a spirit, but I hope that today that it receives a deadly wound and will die out quickly so I can return back to the ministry.

…That is an error! It's falsely!" THUS SAITH THE LORD! "It is wrong! Have nothing to do with it!" I am your brother.

…God, may the enemy that approached our brothers and our sisters with... may it receive a deadly wound that cannot exist any longer; may it just die away,

Jesus turned and said, "What is it to thee if he tarries till I come?" So He never...

Then there went a doctrine out. See how easy it can start?

There went a doctrine out that "John wasn't going to die until he seen Jesus coming, or until the Second Coming."

The Bible said there was a doctrine went out of that.

Howbeit, Jesus never said it that way.

He said, "What is it to you if he tarries till I come?"

Now, we find out that he was lifted up into the heavens and saw from then until the coming of the Lord, as though he had been there and seen it all happen.

A vision seen in advance is like watching a video of an event.

It is just as though you were actually there.

When brother Branham saw visions of the Seals opening way in the future in Heaven, it was just as though he was actually there in the future.

But notice how the disciples twisted what the Lord said. This is where we have to be careful.

You have to prove your doctrine from Scripture.

Prophets have a portion of the Spirit of God

Jesus alone was in the midst of all 7 church ages.

MATTHEW 28:20    Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

REVELATION 1:13   And in the midst of the seven candlesticks

one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Christ was always both with His church and in His church throughout the seven ages.

JOHN 14:17    Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him;

for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

COLOSSIANS 1:27   To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is

Christ in you, the hope of glory:

But each Christian only has a portion of Christ’s Spirit.

56-1207  GIFTS

Now, we have the Spirit by these gifts, by portions. But Christ had It without measure.

We have It by measure. To one is given knowledge, to another one is given wisdom.

There are in the church five offices: Apostles or missionaries, either one, both the same thing, word means "one sent." And apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, and pastors, God sets them in the church. But because one would be an apostle, the prophet couldn't say, "You're not in it." Or the pastor to the evangelist or so forth. But they're all little lines of God that's put into the church for the perfecting of the saints.

And in every local body is nine spiritual gifts, in I Corinthians 12, nine spiritual gifts in each body. They operate separately, but of the same-self Spirit.

Now... But in Christ was the fulness.

Now, if you see a man here prophesying, and another a pastor, one evangelist and another a teacher. Now, you can't say you're not in it, because it's just one of them rays off of God. It all points right back to God, that big master diamond. Don't forget that.

64-0304  SIRS  WE  WOULD  SEE  JESUS

When Jesus was on earth and said He was the Son of God, they condemned Him. He said, "Why would you condemn Me when I say I am the Son of God, when you call those who the Word came to, 'gods'?" Abraham was considered a god, Elijah was a god, Isaiah was a god, because the Word of God came to them. And they were, in portion, gods. Jesus said they were. He said, "You call them 'gods.'"

 Now, you see, when the man was anointed, like Joseph, he portrayed Christ; when Moses was anointed, he portrayed Christ; when David was anointed, he portrayed Christ. All leading up to Christ, and He was the fulness of the Word. The Word was made manifest in Him. He was the complete Anointed One.

They had It by portions; we have It by portions.

He was the anointed One.

The entire plan of God laid in Him.

Brother Branham never had the entire plan. God never told him about the seven Trumpets or the seven Vials as they belong to the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

And then at this first Christmas, He sent the Word in Its fulness, see, the Word!

A portion of the Word in a prophet, prophet had the Message for that age, and he went forth.

Therefore, there would be One anointed above all the prophets;

for, the prophets had a portion of God, but He had the fulness of God.

See? Now,

so man could just have a portion.

He had the fulness of the Godhead, bodily.

Each prophet could perform his part of God's Plan but then he left the scene.

Because God is in the believer just like He was in Christ. Not in the fulness He was in Christ,

but He is in you just like He was, because you are a son of God through Jesus Christ.

No believer can have the fullness.

God, we pray that His Presence will be with us tonight

as we get into the Christmas story.

Now, you see, we are not a divided people,

we've got to be in unity, because each one of us holding a part of God. And we must come together, and then the Pillar of Fire is manifested in the wholeness, in the fulness of It;

when His Church sets together in Heavenly places, then the fulness of the power of God is in His Church.

Each one of us holding spiritual gifts and spiritual offices, coming together, brings that Pillar of Fire back again.

Oh, what Pentecost needs is a good Bible lesson, good teaching; then you wouldn't need so much going on. See? Jesus Christ was the Son of God. He had the Spirit without measure. You believe that? In Him never dwelt just a part of God, but all of God was in His Son Christ Jesus. He was the Fulness of the Godhead bodily. All of God was poured out in Christ. All that God was was in Christ.

And all that Christ is, He poured out on the Church

The whole church worldwide has the fullness of the Spirit. No one man has the fullness.

All that God was, He poured into Christ. And Christ was God manifested on earth. And all that Christ was, He poured into His Church.

And all the powers that God had rested in Christ, and the fulness of Christ rests in His Church.

So what a people this should be.

The Fulness of the Godhead bodily dwelt in Christ. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.

We are just gifts of God to His Church.

Therefore, the Spirit that was in Jesus, was like all the water in the world.

And the gifts of the Spirit from Jesus, is like a spoonful of that same water.

But the chemicals that's in the entire ocean, is in a spoonful of water; it's the same chemicals, just not as much of it.

We have it by measure; He had it without measure.

You being a part of God's gene, a part of the Word, other men a part of God's Word, seated together, manifest the entire Body of Christ,

because there's no leaven among you. (See what He's talking about, Brother Brown?) No leaven among you, just the Word only, seated in heavenly places, in the door where He put His Name: Christ Jesus.

No leaven among you, that brings the entire fulness of the Godhead bodily among you. Couldn't do it in Luther's age, couldn't do it in Wesley's age, couldn't do it in Pentecostal age; but in the day when the Son of man will be manifested, revealed, brought back the Church

together with the entire Deity of God amongst His people,

showing the same visible signs, manifesting Himself like He did at the beginning when He was manifested on earth in a form of a Prophet-God. Oh! Glory! Promised by Malachi 4, promised by the rest of the Scriptures. Where you worship at? The house of God, seated (in present tense).

Adding up the bits of God in each person produces the entire Deity of God.

What was the Messiah? The Messiah was the Word, in full. He was the fulness of God.

The prophets was a little flickering Light. But in Him was all that Light,

was in this Messiah, for He was the manifested God, made Emmanuel, God among us in human flesh.

No human being can ever stand in the shoes of Jesus.

To compare any man to Jesus is frankly just a waste of time.
