Why did a healed man see "men as trees walking"?

Understanding what a tree symbolizes in Scripture helps us to understand how God works out His plan through our lives.

He had to leave where he lived before he could see

Mark 8:22   And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

:23   And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

:24     And he looked up, and said,

I see men as trees, walking.

:25     After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

:26     And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town,

nor tell it to any in the town.

The town was not his home.

Bethsaida means "a house of fish". This is where Jesus was.

Drawing1cd4x6

Jesus took a blind man out of the village and first gave him a spiritual insight, what we would call discernment, then gave him his natural sight.

This was the key to being a fisher of men.

A deeper spiritual insight needs to be given to a person.

How does God see things? Where do we fit into God’s bigger spiritual picture?

This was the first touch from God that the blind man received. This was the most important aspect of his healing, putting God and the Bible first. Then followed his natural healing and his ability to look after himself. But this was secondary.

With natural sight he could see men and elevate a man to be his spiritual leader. That would be wrong.

Sinners must be led to Jesus so that he can control them.

The mistake that churches make is that they lead a sinner to the Lord Jesus, and then once he or she is saved, they then subject that person to church traditions and beliefs.

A convert to Jesus should not then be led to some man, some church leader, who can dictate to them or some church that will expect them to conform to the beliefs and traditions of that church.

Now that the blind man had found Jesus, he was led out of the town to get away from human leadership.

There are 45000 different kinds of denominations and churches today which is the final product of human leadership as each leader has a different opinion.

The man’s home was not in that village.

Our true home is Heaven, not some man-made religious church system.

This is like being in a denomination.

Conformity to any group blinds us to a deeper insight into Scripture.

Notice how easily denominational people dismiss many Scriptures as unimportant.

When a difficult Scripture is discussed, the foolish virgins (clean women representing saved Christians) always say, “Must we know?”  and ignore the issue.

The wise virgins say, “We must know!”  because Jesus, the Word, is our Husband and if it is in the Bible it is important.

Wise virgins want to do the difficult task of seeking the truth.

Sleeping virgins are lazy.

They do not want their ignorance exposed. They are scared of discovering their errors, as they subconsciously fear they may have many beliefs that are wrong. So a sleeping person, when you try to awaken them, just says, "Leave me alone".

There is no such thing as an unimportant Scripture. There is no such thing as a Bible verse that can be ignored. Each verse plays its part in God's "Big Picture". Our responsibility is to keep seeking an answer.

2 Timothy 3:16    All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

:17   That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Doctrine based on Scripture gives authority.

Mark 1:22   And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

We cannot be perfect if we ignore or deny any Scripture.

Everything written in the Bible is profitable

When Jesus gave him his sight, He first had to lead him out of the village, and then He told him not to go back to the village as that was not his true home.

If God opens our eyes, He first has to lead us away from the denominational or church beliefs and traditions, as they were the ones that made us blind in the first place. Then it does not help to return to the denomination beliefs as they will reject the further revelation of the mysteries of Scripture.

The parable of the ten virgins says that they were all asleep. A woman represents a church. So all our churches on earth are asleep.

Thus there is something phony about our church systems. We all need to wake up to that fact.

In 2020 the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic closed down all the churches. That showed us what God thinks of our churches: only fit to be closed down. Pastors huddled helplessly in the safety of their expensive homes while the brave medical staff bravely challenged the virus.

Then, to compensate for their failure in the face of this vicious virus, many pastors accused the anti-virus vaccine of being the mark of the beast. Bill Gates became the scapegoat as he was falsely accused of injecting microchips into people. His patent was claimed to be 666. Actually, his patent was 060606 which means sixty thousand six hundred and six. Nowhere near six hundred and sixty six. His patent had nothing to do with a vaccine. It was a device like a wrist band that could measure whether it was a human or a bot (a computer program) that was doing an analysis of data for payment.

The ignorance of evangelicals when it comes to Bible prophecy is hitting new highs.

ROMANS 1:22   Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Jesus healed a single blind man.

Jesus here is dealing with an individual, not a group.

In the church of the Laodiceans, the last church age, He stands outside the church door appealing to an individual inside who may be listening to Him.

REVELATION 3:20   Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,

In the end, the focus is more on individuals who listen to and obey Scripture. Not church groups that conform to the traditions and the opinions of human leaders.

Let us read the Bible’s description of this event again:

Mark 8:22   And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

:23   And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

Spit represents the man’s eyes having a cure or eye salve that enabled him to see what came from the mouth of God.

This is what Jesus recommends to the last church age of the Laodiceans.

REVELATION 3:19   ... and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

We must demand to see where a doctrine is written in Scripture, as only the Word of God is guaranteed to come out of the mouth of God.

Mark 8:24     And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

“He looked up”.  Symbolizing a view from above. He saw a spiritual insight as God sees things in a higher dimension. This was a special insight. He saw the spirits of men, rather than their physical bodies.

We live in a physical world of three dimensions. We do not know what "time" is because time is part of the fourth dimension that includes the spiritual realm of good and evil.

Mark 8:25     After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

The blind man had followed Jesus out of his comfort zone.

His reward was a deeper spiritual discernment that showed him that humans were a mixture of good and evil and therefore very liable to deceive him with their religious systems.

Then Jesus restored his natural sight.

This order of events illustrates that our spiritual insight is far more important than our natural sight.

But we humans tend to put more emphasis on God providing for our material gain rather than for our understanding of God’s plan for humanity.

We look at a church first in terms of what it does right. Getting us saved and then providing fellowship, worship and material help. The church is a place of safety on a Sunday where we feel and convince ourselves that regular attendance in some church is the key to making it to Heaven.

The churches teach us how to develop as people and live a good Christian life. All this is fine. But in that safety zone we overlook the errors that are taught in the churches.

There are 45000 different denominations - all different. We bluff ourselves that the church we chose is the correct one. There is only a 1 in 45000 chance of that being the right choice. Not good odds.

Mark 8:26     And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

This man never came from the town.

The New Testament never set up a denomination. Groups form, and then all too easily demand conformity to their beliefs by suppressing the people under an exalted pastor as the church leader and head of the church. When God opens your eyes, the church that had kept you blind will not accept what you can now see.

Only Jesus is the Head of the church. He is the Word - the Bible. The way you feel about the Bible is the way you feel about Jesus.

Ephesians5:23   For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

The body of believers, the true church, can only be saved by Jesus. Not by any man, however famous.

Human church leaders become comfortable in their power and lose sight of the main goal which is the pursuit of truth.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

Understanding the mysteries of Scripture is the evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism.

Understanding is the ability to link the information, contained in different Bible verses, together.

A tree symbolizes the spirit of a person

So why did God use a tree to symbolize the spirit of a man?

Drawing13

The oldest living thing on earth is the Bristlecone pine tree from America.

This is almost an example of perpetual life. A tree of this age would go all the way back to Noah’s Flood.

God wanted a symbol of Eternal Life. So He chose a tree because it is the longest living specimen of natural life on earth.

The Tree of Life is thus a symbol for Jesus.

The Tree of Life is the source of eternal Life.

Genesis 3:22   And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand,

and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

There is only one source of eternal life - Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:20    And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 John 5:11    And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

So the Tree of Life was the symbol of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Genesis 2:9   And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The ministry of Jesus is recorded in the midst of the Bible by the four Gospels that join the Old Testament and the New Testament together. Thus Jesus becomes the focus of the whole Bible.

In the same way the Spirit of Jesus was the central Person in the garden of Eden. Christ was the focus of everything in Eden.

But then suddenly, after Adam sinned, the Tree of life had moved to the east of Eden, to form the Door whereby repentant sinners could again return to the presence of God.

Genesis 3:24   So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

A natural tree does not have a way. It stands still in one place. The Tree of life is the Spirit of Christ Who moved from the centre of Eden to the eastern border to became the Door so that He could make a way for sinful people to be redeemed back.

John 10:7   Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door

John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way

Isaiah 37:16   O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims,

God dwells between the cherubims. So the cherubims at the east of Eden were surrounding the Spirit of God. In other words the Tree of life was a symbol for the Spirit of God.

But Jesus is God.

John 20:28   And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

But there was another tree, symbolizing another spirit. A spirit that had knowledge of both good and evil.

We live in a physical world of three dimensions. At a higher level, there is a fourth dimension that involves both time and spirit. That is why we have absolutely no idea what time is, nor what life is, nor what thoughts are. They are all part of this higher dimension that is invisible to us. This is the realm of the knowledge of good and evil that influences human thinking.

We can contact this dimension with our thoughts.

Politics is evil, ruled by sinful men under the control of the Devil. The king of Tyre was the human vessel that Satan could enter into, just like he entered into Judas to betray Jesus.

Luke 22:3   Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot,

Ezekiel 28:12  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

:13     Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;

The king of Tyre had never been in Eden. Ezekiel was speaking of Satan who indwelt and controlled the thinking of this political king.

So the tree of knowledge of good and evil was a symbol of the spirit of Satan who was in Eden in order to persuade Adam and Eve to rebel against God by corrupting God’s Word and changing it.

Isaiah 14:12   How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,

Satan, once known as 'the angel of light', or Lucifer, fell from Heaven which is an even higher spiritual dimension that only has good. That is why Lucifer was kicked out when he sinned.

Having once been in that exalted state, Satan is thus incredibly brilliant in terms of his thinking skills. If you go against him in the cleverness of your mind, he will tie you in knots. The only thing that can defeat Satan is when you quote to him from the written Word of God. You are doomed when you rely on clever man-made traditions and opinions.

Genesis 2:9   And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

On the third Day, God had declared every fruit tree to be good for food. So there was no fruit tree that could harm Adam and Eve.

Genesis 1:12   And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

:13     And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Nothing that a person eats can defile them. So eating something is not a sin.

Mark 7:15  There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Matthew 15:10    And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

:11    Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

No food going into the mouth is sinful. The words coming out of our mouths are sinful. That is why we should only speak what is written in the Bible - then it is not our words.

Mark 7:18   And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

:19    Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

Mark 7:20   And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

:21     For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

:22   Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

:23     All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

The mark of the beast does not depend on an antivirus vaccine that is injected into you. The mark of the beast depends on unscriptural doctrines that are brainwashed into your mind. This unbelief, coming out of your thoughts and words, is what leads up to the mark of the beast.

Unbelief that comes out of your mind in your words, not what goes into your body physically.

Evil thoughts and ideas come from the higher unseen and mysterious fourth dimension, the realm of time and spirits and the knowledge of good and evil. Our minds, being spirit, are able to contact this higher spiritual realm of the fourth dimension, and are influenced by the ideas that swirl around there. Evil is wrapped up in this dimension of time, and one day this whole fourth dimension of time and evil will end when it is thrown into the Lake of Fire. Until then it remains the fountain of deception to rob us of our relationship with God, as it did to Adam and Eve.

A tree can also be used as a symbol of man’s life, which is man’s spirit.

It takes hard work, usually unnoticed, to keep life on earth going.

Termites, fungi, moulds, worms, ants, and enormous amounts of bacteria are essential to our ecosystems.

There is probably more life that is unnoticed under the soil than what there is above the soil. All these are necessary to process the soil so that plants and trees can draw nourishment from the soil. The mass of all living creatures on the earth is probably just about equal to the mass of the invisible bacteria that inhabit the soil and all living bodies.

This illustrates that most of the work to spread the Gospel and prepare people for the Lord’s coming happens out of sight in humble locations.

Modern churches are full of entertainment, showmanship, and disco music.

Their focus is on style, not on substance.

No wonder that God used the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic to close the churches down in 2020.

But all the visible life above the earth’s surface is totally dependent on the hidden activities which go on unnoticed under the ground.

In today’s world of competitive Christianity, churches try to outdo each other in terms of numbers of members and wealth.

At the end of His ministry, Jesus had eleven genuine disciples, a borrowed donkey and colt, a borrowed upper room, a robe, and a borrowed tomb. His approach was obviously different from that of our modern cash-hungry pastors.

When attacking a city Jews were not allowed to cut down trees.

Deuteronomy 20:19   When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:

Here God clearly compares a tree to man’s life or man’s spirit.

Romans 8:10   but the Spirit is life.

When the Romans under Titus destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70, they cut down all the trees around Jerusalem for more than eighteen kilometers, turning the region into a desolation. Hence Jesus referred to them as the abomination that makes desolation.
Matthew 24:15   When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Psalm 1:1   Blessed is the man…

: 2     But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

: 3   And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

Drawing16c

If water speaks of God’s Spirit then this picture of a Scriptural man, who draws his life from the Spirit of God,  is a picture of permanence. This man believes in God through all circumstances.

John 7:38   He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

:39     (But this spake he of the Spirit,…

Dead trees stand just like spiritually dead people

Why is a tree such a useful picture of a man’s spirit? Think of unsaved people.

Drawing40

Because when a tree is dead (representing an unsaved spirit) it keeps on standing.

This dead tree does not just disappear. It can stand for years after it has died.

This dead tree would be a symbol of an unsaved person. Spiritually dead while they are still physically alive. But once they are physically dead, their spirit continues to exist in the regions of the lost, waiting for Judgement Day and the Lake of Fire and the end of time.

A dead tree produces no leaves. So the man who saw “men like trees” would automatically know that this was an unsaved soul.

However convincing this unsaved man sounded, the blind man would not be fooled as he immediately saw in the spirit that this man was spiritually dead.

Salvation shows some green leaves on a tree

But if he saw another man looking like a tree which had some green leaves then he would be prepared to listen for a while.

Drawing41

Then he would know that the person was saved but not yet living holy nor spirit-filled.

Saved means that the person has repented of their sins and accepted Jesus as his or her personal Saviour.

Salvation means cleansing from all past sin, but it only begins the process of making a person Christ-like. Christ injects a portion of His Holy Spirit into our hearts and thus a new life begins within us. But then comes a struggle as our old nature has to die and it resists dying. In the same way that you would resist if some person tried to kill you.

Human greed and error is pacified by salvation but is not eliminated and it can flare up again.

A more thorough conquest is needed, the death of self.

This tree has some life as it indicates a saved person but still has a way to go, needing holiness and the Spirit baptism and finally the revelation of the mysteries contained in the Bible so that the person can find his or her place in the Body of Christ.

Holiness sees more leaves on the tree

Now we see another person that looks like a tree. But this tree has more greenery and fewer dead branches.

Drawing13a

The second step towards killing self is holiness where the sinful desires of self are chopped off.

This gives "self " far less say in the way that we live our lives. This produces a marked change in the lifestyle of the individual. We stop smoking, drinking, drugging, gambling, fighting, telling lies, stealing, bad language, dirty jokes, wearing revealing clothing, sex outside of marriage, etc.

Now the tree that represents our life or spirit is taking on more greenery. Looking more alive.

Holy Ghost baptism has fruits but some Bible ignorance

Our ignorance of Scripture shows up like dead branches on a tree.

Then comes the Holy Ghost baptism when Jesus takes control of our lives. The fruits of the Spirit are more manifest.

Drawing50

The above picture represents a Spirit-filled person who shows the fruit of the Spirit.

This is a healthy-looking tree but it is not quite the end of the road. There are still dead branches that indicate that the person is still ignorant of the mysteries that are hidden in the Bible.

Why do the descendants from David to Joseph in Matthew have 13 less names, and different names, to the descendants in Luke? This question is asked by atheists in order to “prove” that the Bible contradicts itself. Both are describing the bloodline that ended in Messiah. Why were there two bloodlines? We need to be able to reply to the atheists.

Matthew only mentioned one angel in the tomb of Jesus. Luke mentioned two. What are they trying to tell us?

Do we allow the Holy Spirit to reveal all the mysteries?

Then we happen to see a tree that is fully green.

This tree or person knows why the Holy Spirit came. It was to guide us into all truth.

But even if people are Spirit-filled they often prefer to stay within their comfort zone of church traditions. The hard work and unpopularity of seeking out the mysteries of Scripture do not appeal to them.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,

he will guide you into all truth:

Drawing10b

John 4:24   God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism is to be able to understand the Word of God.

When asked about the destruction of the Temple and end time events, Jesus gave one big warning.

Matthew 24:4   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Our biggest obstacle that will stop us from being ready for the Coming of the Lord is deception.

We are easily fooled, like Eve was, to forsake Scripture and accept the opinions of man.

So Jesus actually gave that blind man the gift of discernment. Then no one would be able to fool him.

If we can discern between the written Word of God and human opinion, then we can stay on the right track.

Christians experience different depths of the Spirit

What makes the difference between these four stages of growth?

The depth of the water that the trees are standing next to.

Ezekiel 47:3   And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

:4   Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

:5     Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

:6     And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

:7   Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Verse 7 shows trees facing each other on opposite banks of the River of life.

That is when the children of the last church age have learned the Bible mysteries and are able to understand and agree with the beliefs that the first church age apostolic fathers had. The fathers are on the other side of the river, in the Kingdom of Heaven.

We have to be able to agree with all their beliefs.

God had four depths of water (which represents doctrine and Spirit) that He would use to restore His church back to what it was at the beginning.

Ephesians 5:26   That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Each Christian has the free will to go into the water to a depth of their own choosing.

The salvation tree.

Drawing13b

This is the person who has repented and accepted Jesus as Saviour. They enjoy life in the shallow ankle-deep water where they can splash around in the basic Scriptures that tell of God’s love and protection. They do not have to go too far from the worldly bank of the river and can always return to their worldly pursuits and dress. Christianity is a new and exciting experience but is not too far removed from their old life. The water is very shallow and they can easily move around where ever their self-will wants them to go.

Jesus is their Saviour but not their Lord.

They want Him to save them from their sins but not to tell them what to do or how to dress. They want their freedom to move around unrestricted.

Water that is ankle-deep cannot push you in any direction. So God has very little control over these Christians. They are still free to do their own thing.

The holiness tree.

Drawing13c

This person is in the water up to their knees. It is a lot more difficult to move around the way you want to. Water up to your knees cannot force you to move in its direction of flow. This is the last depth of water wherein you can still control your movements. Again, the person does not get too far from the river bank which is the worldly life that they were living when they got saved. Despite living a holier life, they still need to return to the river bank and conform to the world in certain ways like social drinking, worldly dress, high heels, off-colour jokes, bad language, dubious money deals etc. But they have come a long way in terms of the many bad things that they have stopped doing.

But because the water is deeper, it is not quite so easy to move around according to their own free will.

Their conscience is starting to have more say and acts as a curb or limit on certain activities.

So God is having more control over their lives.

The Holy Ghost baptism tree.

Drawing9d

The person is now up to their loins where life is. The Spirit of Jesus is now mostly in control of his or her life. When water flows strongly and is waist-deep, it will sweep a person off their feet. Thus God has far more freedom to move this person in the water. It is very hard for a person to wade against the flow when water is this deep. The person is now more spiritually-minded. They face towards the water in the river (God’s will) rather than towards the river bank (the world that so attracts our self-will).

The tree looks good with the fruits of the Spirit. This Christian is almost complete. But the tree still has some dead branches. They do not understand so many of the mysteries in the Bible.

Bible illiteracy is a huge problem in churches.

Matthew 24:24   For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Being ignorant of the mysteries in Scripture makes us an open target for the Devil to deceive us. The only thing that blocks him is the written Word.

And if we are ignorant or dismissive of parts of Scripture, we lose our only weapon that can withstand Satan.

The final stage of spiritual growth is to be able to understand the Bible's mysteries.

The Tree that represents the Christian who is restored back to finding his or her place in the Body or Plan of God's Word

Drawing9e

There are 45000 modern church denominations to choose from today. An almost endless variation of belief. So something is seriously wrong. The only focus a Christian can have today is to be restored back to what the New Testament believed.

This person researches the Bible for a deeper understanding of the end time. The church of the Laodiceans is luke warm vomit in God’s mouth. Blind, naked, miserable, wretched. With pastors being the head of the churches, the true Head Jesus is rejected and stands outside the church door.

He appeals to individuals.

So this person is swimming away from the river bank. Away from any human opinions and church traditions. The water is deep. Once the mysteries open up the Scripture, more and more Scripture unfolds.

Why did Jesus ride in on a donkey that had a young foal?

What was it about feet-washing that Peter could not understand? He knew about humility and washing dust off their feet when they came into the room. But that had already been done because Jesus did the feet-washing after supper, not when they came into the room. What was the big mystery that Peter had to learn?

We need to be able to understand the Bible if we intend to use it as a guide.

All the modern day churches are fast asleep

The wise and the foolish saved Christians are all fast asleep. Virgins are clean women representing saved Christians in the churches.

MATTHEW 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

The parable of the ten virgins represents saved Christians who are sleepily unaware of what is going on today. The parable says that all the women were fast asleep until the last moment. So all saved Christians are kept fast asleep by their churches. Each pastor reassures the people that they are fine as long as they regularly come to his church and believe whatever he says. Lulled by complacency, everyone falls asleep.

What is going to wake us all up?

The 2020 COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic closed down the churches. That is what God thinks of our churches. Pastors huddled safely at home while brave medical staff fought the virus. 45000 different denominations. Each claiming that they are right. All different. Yet each church was helpless in the face of the virus.

Each Christian believing that as long as they huddle submissively in the church of their choice, all will be well for them. All scared to disagree with the pastor. But the pastors from the 45000 different denominations have very different beliefs.

So the church world is reduced to a shallow “fig leaf” of safety. Whether saved or unsaved, just find a church where you can believe what suits you. As long as you are regularly in a church every Sunday, you are fine.

“Going to church” regularly is all that matters. Yet "going to church" is an unscriptural expression.

What you believe is not really important since so many churches have so many different beliefs and traditions anyway.

Ironically the most important belief amongst the churches of today is to celebrate Christmas. The word “Christmas” and the date 25 December are not in the Bible. 25 December is mid-winter when Israel is terribly cold and wet at night. No shepherds are out with their sheep at night in mid-winter.

We were never asked in the Bible to celebrate Christ’s birth.

The wise men never went with their gifts to the stable, they went to a house where Jesus was not a baby, but a young Child of about two years old.

Matthew 2:11   And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

In AD 274 the vicious Christian killer and Roman emperor Aurelian, who beheaded the Bishop of Rome on 22 December, declared 25 December to be the birthday of the pagan sun God, the unconquerable sun (Sol Invictus). The sun god has conquered much of the church world with his unscriptural decorated tree, and holly, and ivy. The spirit of paganism is still alive and well under the cloak of Churchianity. No wonder the Bible says that the last church of the Laodiceans is blind.

Luke Chapter 14 has a man preparing a supper, representing the marriage supper of the Lamb.

He sends out invitations. God invites saved Christians, not sinners to Heaven. Not one of those saved Christians that He invited accepted His invitation. God invites according to Scripture. The churchified Christians of today are too involved with church traditions that they refuse to abandon. So God rejects all the saved Christians in the churches. None of them will be caught up to Heaven to meet the Lord in the air. They will be sorted out and killed in great Tribulation and will never be part of His Bride. This is a most scary parable. But, if they were saved before the 3.5 years of great Tribulation started, then they will be spared on Judgement Day.

Luke 14:24   For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

A big mystery is that at the end-time the churches have become the stumbling blocks that are stopping the people from understanding the Scripture.

So every end-time Bride member is swimming away from Churchianity into the deep waters of Scripture that will never stop unfolding. We cannot pass over these deep waters in our own strength. There is nothing beyond the Bible that we need.

A Gentile woman begged for help when Jesus was near Tyre and Sidon.

Jesus called her a dog which is very insulting, especially to a woman.   But look at her unexpected reply.

Matthew 15:26   But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

:27   And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

:28     Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

What was the great revelation that this Gentile woman had? Why was the word “crumbs” such an important or critical observation on her part? The Gentile woman was referring to a deep truth about God’s plan. Jesus was impressed with her insight.

A woman symbolizes a church. This woman represents the Gentile church. She has a deep insight into God's Word and knew what God's plan was for her day. So God expects us Gentiles to know what the Bible verses mean. He expects us to have an insight into Scripture.

If you keep saying, "I do not know” to the mysteries of Scripture, do not think that Jesus will be happy with you.

When Jesus spoke to the disciples about the feeding of the 5000 and the 4000, He expected them to know why there were a certain number of baskets of food fragments that were unwanted leftovers, the rejected scraps.

Matthew 16:9   Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

:10     Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

Can you answer? We can remember that 12 baskets and then 7 baskets were left over. But do we understand the significance of these numbers and what it was that Jesus was trying to tell the multitude when He performed these miracles.

In the last picture the person is swimming. Finding your place in the Body of the Lord is an ongoing search. You can never afford to sit back and relax. However far you have come with God, you still have further to go.

But deep waters are dangerous. If you stop swimming then you drown.

Philippians 2: 12 …. work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Being placed in the active Body of Christ is a journey, not a destination. Because there is always more to be done. More to be learned.

Jesus created bread to feed the 5000 and 4000. The Jews ate what they wanted and rejected the scraps that were left over.

Bread represents the Word of God. The Gospel that Jesus preached was rejected by the Jews at Calvary. But the disciples collected up this rejected Gospel and wrote it as the New Testament.

This rejected Gospel first went to the Gentiles during 7 church ages and after that, it will go to the 144000 Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

Remember, trees are a key member of the earth’s ecosystem.

Trees play a big part in causing rain in the tropical rainforests of the world. Coloured in green.

Drawing18cd

Trees produce nourishing rainfall all around the planet.

Tree roots absorb water and their leaves give out water in the same way that humans sweat to stay cool. All this water vapour helps to produce clouds which then produce rain.

Drawing4xy

Matthew 5:45   That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Rain is a blessing. God sends blessings onto the earth for the believers. Unbelievers also benefit from this process. So the righteous are a benefit to everyone.

For example, if God wanted Christians in the army to get more money then He would organize that the government gave the whole army a pay rise.

Trees absorb water through their roots and then “sweat” or transpire to give out this water to the atmosphere which helps to form rain clouds. The evaporation of this water from the leaves also cools the plants.

Rainforests act like giant sponges, soaking up moisture, and then releasing it slowly to keep rivers flowing in dry times and avoid flooding. This is active climate control that depends on trees.

Christians, by their example, keep a higher standard of righteousness that all society benefits from.

Christians are also expected to understand the Bible mysteries. This is a responsibility that requires much searching and effort on our part. Thus Christians increase the flow of Bible truth which is needed to guide people.

Today the valuable trees of the rain forests are being cut down by humans in their greed for gain.

This then reduces rainfall.

Today the righteous are under attack for standing up for God's Word and His standards. Character assassination is a key weapon whereby Satan cuts down the righteous in order to cut down their influence.

The Sahara desert is spreading south as the West African rain forests, coloured green in the following map, are cut down.

This causes the spread of desolation as desert replaces grasslands.

Drawing19a

As Bible-believing Christians are pushed aside in modern churches, so denominational beliefs which spread the desolation of human wisdom like Evolution, the Big Bang and other unscriptural beliefs are advancing.

Think of many church errors. Trinity, seven-year Tribulation, one man is the head of each church, Eve ate an apple, William Branham is the infallible Voice of God, the 7 Thunders have uttered, the mighty Angel of Revelation 10 has come down, the antivirus injection for COVID-19 is the mark of the beast, etc.  These are examples of the many doctrines that are spreading spiritual desolation and Bible-ignorance through the church circles.

Psalm 92:12   The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree.

Society is rising up in protest against God’s standards. Churches object to the written Word that contradicts their traditions and opinions. The righteous, who stay with Scripture, are condemned and cut down by character assassination.

The abomination of desolation is the Dome of the Rock

President Trump fulfills a Bible prophecy by recognizing Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel. He is immediately condemned by almost the entire world including all the so-called "Christian" countries who bow down in their efforts to deny their own Bible and appease the Muslim followers of Muhammed.

Jesus warned

Matthew 24:15   When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This prophecy has compound meanings.

Today the Mosque of Omar and the Dome of the Rock stand on the original holy site where people think that Solomon's Temple once stood.

No Bible believer should ever defend a religion that Jesus described in these words. Bible believers should defend Israel but most modern Christians lack the courage to make a stand for Israel against world opinion.

President Trump has his flaws, as we all do, but his incredible stand to defend Bible truth and support Israel in the face of world hatred and verbal abuse is an incredible example to us all. And the attitude of German and British politicians whose countries once produced the incredible reformers Martin Luther and John Wesley, is proof of how the Bible describes our last church age of the Laodiceans as blind, miserable, and wretched. The Bible also adds that the church of the Laodiceans produces Christians that are vomit in God's mouth. Such is the condemnation of Christians who grovel before Allah. Early Christians preferred to be eaten by lions before they denied their faith.

The prophecy also refers to pagan Rome under the Caesars.

In their attempts to build a barrier around the city of Jerusalem, the Romans under their general Titus in AD 70, cut down all the trees for eleven miles (almost seventeen and a half kilometers) around the city. The land looked like a desolation. Then they destroyed the Temple and the city.  About one million one hundred thousand Jews died in this attack. The Romans tended to create a desolation and then when there was nothing left they called that "peace".

The desolation of pagan Roman religion then entered the Roman Catholic church and finally spread to the Protestant denominations. Consider Christmas, an unscriptural word. The unscriptural date 25 December is mid winter, freezing cold. Impossible for shepherds to be out with their sheep at night. But it was the birthday of the Roman sun god and it is now the greatest religious festival in the denominational church world as the so-called birthday of Christ. So effectively have pagan traditions crept into and taken over the church. Ever wondered where Easter eggs and Easter bunnies come from? Certainly not from the Bible.

Ishtar was the Spring goddess of fertility with her orgies. Ishtar eggs were symbolic of male testicles. Ishtar bunnies? Bunnies are the mammals that breed fastest. Hugh Hefner founded his corrupt Playboy empire by dressing up immoral women in bunny-outfits. He simply copied the ancient pagan ideas.

The Catholic church changed Ishtar eggs and Ishtar bunnies into Easter eggs and Easter bunnies. And Protestants learned from their Catholic mother church and copied those errors.

What is meant by Easter Monday?

"Easter Monday" is unscriptural. Jesus rose on Sunday, not Monday. But Monday was named after the pagan moon-goddess. All part of the Catholic woman-worship that is centred around Mary.

Jesus was three nights in the tomb just like Jonah was three nights in the whale.

So Jesus had to die on a Thursday.

He was in the tomb on Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. Then He arose on Sunday morning.

The Catholics changed the crucifixion to Friday which is named after the woman goddess Freya. She is the fish goddess of fertility. Fish have more young than other animals, hence the pagan orgy as her worship. Freya was also worshiped by the people eating fish on a Friday. That habit is still around today. Paganism has spread so successfully.

Protestants say Jesus died on Friday. Thus He spent Friday night and Saturday night in the tomb, which is two nights. This contradicts Jesus saying He spent 3 nights in the tomb. Thus Protestants are just as silly as Catholics. Protestants would rather agree with the Catholics than agree with Jesus.

"Good Friday" is completely unscriptural.

In the Exodus, the Jews chose the Passover lamb on the 10th day and killed it on the 14th day.
EXODUS 12:3   Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

EXODUS 12:6   And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Jesus was publically chosen as King on Palm Sunday, which had to be the 10th day, when He came in triumph on a donkey. Then He was killed on the 14th day which had to be a Thursday.

The former teaching rain and the latter harvest rain

But God promised a former spiritual rain (which means a teaching rain) and a latter rain or harvest rain to finish off our last church age of the Laodiceans. The end will be the catching of the Bride up to Heaven.

Jeremiah 5:24   Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

The harvest rain will be a matter of a few weeks.

Harvest is pulling the seed off the dead plant.

The harvest or latter rain will involve pulling the saints from 7 church ages out of their graves in the resurrection and then catching them up to meet the Lord in the air. This time interval will be about 40 days if the First Coming of the Lord sets the pattern for end-time events. Forty days is a time interval of a few weeks.

ACTS 1:3    To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

The former rain is the teaching rain to reveal the mysteries of Scripture to us so that the true seed can ripen.

We need to know what is written in the Bible so that we can avoid pagan traditions as we prepare for the Lord’s Coming.
Revelation 10:7   But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The latter rain is the harvest rain where the seed is pulled off the plant. The first step is when the dead saints from the 2000 years of church history will be pulled out of their graves in the future resurrection.

Then the living will be woken up by the seven mysterious Thunders and be changed into eternal bodies.

63-0320 The Third Seal

Now, that's what's the reason today that the revivals that we're supposed to have... We have denominational revivals; we haven't had a real stirring. No, no, no, no. No, sir. Don't think we got revivals. We haven't. Oh, they've got millions and millions and millions of church members, but not a revival nowhere. No, no.

The Bride hasn't had a revival yet. See? There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet. See? We're looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. Now, now, watch. Now, she was dead.

Then the complete Bride will be pulled off the earth to meet the Lord in the air. This will complete the latter rain which is the harvest rain.
Revelation 10:1   And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

:2   And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

When does this Angel come down?
63-0320 The Third Seal

The seventh angel is going to be given the message of that, because it said that in the time of the sounding of the seventh church age--the seventh angel, when he sounds, all the mysteries of God should be finished up by his sounding. Then after it's revealed, the Angel come down from heaven, which was Christ (Now remember, this angel and is on earth, a messenger). Down comes Christ (You see Him in the 10th chapter of Revelations.), puts one foot upon the land and the other one on the sea, rainbow over His head, eyes and, like--and feet like fire and so forth, raises up His hand and swears by Him that lives forever and ever on the throne, that time shall be no more.

The seventh messenger first has to reveal all the mysteries of Scripture between 1947 - 1965, which starts the former rain.

After his departure, the individuals who make up the Bride have to learn from his quotes how to understand the Bible mysteries for themselves.

Then only after these Bride individuals have understood the revelations will the mighty Angel be able to come down.

Why does the Angel come down?

To perform the resurrection.

64-0119 Shalom

But, remember, if it goes plumb into the shadows of death, "I am the resurrection and Life; I'll raise him up again." And when the great Director comes down and bears that stick down, then, "time shall be no more." When that Angel, of Revelation the 10th chapter, puts one foot on land and one on the sea, and a rainbow over His head, He swore, "time shall be no more." When that time comes, you'll rise up from among the dead. While the rest of them lay there, you'll go in.

Christians from the seven church ages are buried either on land or on sea.

Now Christ comes down as the mighty Archangel to raise the dead.

Revelation 10:3   And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Two expressions are used :

"cried with a loud voice"   and   "when he had cried".

Both these expressions are used in the Bible at a time of resurrection.

John 11:43   And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

And again
Matthew 27:50   Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

:51   behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

:52   And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

So the Angel raises the dead from out of both the land and the sea.

Revelation 10:3   And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

The cry of the archangel is to awake the dead.

In the parable of the ten virgins, they were all asleep until a cry awakened them all.
Matthew 25:5   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Matthew 25:6   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

A cry at the time of the resurrection wakes up all the churches, wise and foolish. Only the wise have enough oil to produce enough light to read the written Bible and follow the clues that are hidden in the Bible.

After this cry, seven Thunders that are not written in the Bible will guide the living Bride to be changed and receive new bodies so that they can be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

You cannot receive "rapturing faith" until you are in a new body. This old body can never be caught up to heaven.

We will have to really be awake and aware of Scripture to follow the clues of those seven Thunders.

Now is when we should really be studying the Bible so that we can recognize Scriptural clues.

The message groups who predicted that Hillary would win the 2016 USA presidential election merely showed how out of tune they are with God's thinking since they forsook Scripture to follow quotes.

Nowhere does the Bible promise the "Voice of God" at the end time.

The New Testament never speaks of the Voice of God.

The New Testament promises us the voice of the seventh angel revealing the Bible mysteries and the inner voice of the Holy Spirit that tells us to "Come out of her". That is a reference to modern-day churches. Only then will the voice of the Archangel raise the dead.

The seventh angel, William Branham, had great power in his ministry. He cried out against the modern-day churches with a strong voice.
Revelation 18:1   And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

:2   And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Mystery Babylon is Roman Catholicism, the mother of harlots which are the non-Catholic churches.

Revelation 17:5   And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 18:4   And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people,

"Another voice". Not the voice of William Branham. The inner voice of the Holy Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 4:16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

First a shout. The voice of the seventh angel reveals the mysteries of the written Bible that come down from Heaven. His quotes, taken back to the Bible, reveal the truths that are hidden in the Bible.

Then the voice of the Archangel to raise the dead.

Then the trump of God summons the Bride to Heaven.

Notice the sign of the times. The "Trump" who won an election as a complete outsider and who displayed more courage than the modern presidents except for Truman who recognized Israel in 1948 and Nixon who defended Israel in the 1973 Yom Kippur war. The Bible speaks of the trump of God and then says that the dead in Christ shall rise. This seems like an obvious clue as to where we are in history, very close to the resurrection of the dead. We have had the word "Trump" emphasized since 2016 in the world press. We cannot say that God has not warned us.

65-1204 The Rapture

The first thing comes, when He starts descending from the Heaven, there's a shout. What is it? Is a Message, to get the people together. A Message comes forth, first. Now, lamp-trimming time, "Rise and trim your lamps."

A shout; and then a voice; and then a trumpet.
Shout: a messenger getting the people ready.
The second is a voice of the resurrection: the same voice, that, a loud voice in Saint John 11:38-44, that called Lazarus from the grave.
Getting the Bride together; and then the resurrection of the dead, see; to be caught up with It. Now watch the three things takes place. The next is what? Was a trumpet. A voice... A shout; a voice; a trumpet.

Now, the third thing, is a trumpet. Which, always, at the Feast of Trumpets, is calling the people to the feast. And that'll be the Bride's Supper, the Lamb's Supper with the Bride, in the sky.

But the shout is still in the future.

One month before he died and brother Branham was still looking for the shout in the future.

65-1127  I  HAVE  HEARD  BUT  NOW  I  SEE
Dear God, in this solemn moment, it's going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday, and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.

The shout was not brother Branham learning the truth of the mysteries of Scripture.

The Bride has to use brother Branham's quotes to understand the written Bible.

The shout will be when the individual Bride members are able to understand the written Bible mysteries for themselves by proving them in terms of the relevant Bible verses being linked up to reveal a pattern to a theme.

Hosea 6:3   Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

The Lord comes first as the revelation of the mysteries of the written Word to restore us back to what the first church believed. This is the former rain that teaches us the Bible, not human traditions.

The former or teaching rain began with brother Branham recording his sermons between 1947 and 1965.

Joel 2:23   Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

There will be a one-month overlap as the latter harvest rain pulls the saints from seven church ages out of their graves and then pulls them off the earth to meet the Lord in the air.

The overlap of the former rain and the latter rain after the resurrection of the New Testament saints will see a strong flow of wheat (Scripture), the wine of the stimulation of revelation, and the oil of the Holy Spirit as we are restored back to the first church age.

:24     And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

:25     And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Four destructive creatures or antichrist spirits had wrecked the example of the first church age.

The last evil spirit is the unknown palmerworm that will subtly undermine the truth in the end.

Religious deception reaches a peak at the end.

Four stages of desolation cut down the early church of the New Testament and plunged the church into the swampland of the Dark Ages between 312 AD and 1520.

God then promised four stages of the restoration of the church.

Justification by faith means getting saved.

Sanctification or holiness.

The Holy Ghost baptism.

Then the revelation of the mysteries of the written Word so that we can find our hidden place in God’s final plan.

We need oxygen for life

A big impact of trees is climate control. Carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere is the main source of global warming and climate change.

Drawing2ab

Trees absorb the carbon dioxide (CO2) and rip the carbon  (C) off. This carbon (C) gets stored in the tree trunk while the leftover oxygen (O2) is given out to improve the air quality.

Thus trees effectively remove carbon from the atmosphere. This lowers the effect of global warming.

A tree in that sense is like a righteous person whose presence tends to lessen the tendency of people to sin. Righteousness increases the quality of human behavior.

Sin is both physical in terms of bad behaviour and spiritual in terms of believing unscriptural ideas.

Unbelief is believing anything that is not written in the Bible.

JOHN 16:9   Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Photosynthesis catches and stores light’s energy.

Thus trees turn sunlight into food as they produce fruit. Scientists cannot duplicate this process.

A green leaf absorbs the energy of sunlight. Water is absorbed by the roots of the plant.

Any green plant or tree leaf takes in poisonous carbon dioxide (CO2and turns the carbon (C) into food, usually sugar.

The leaf then gives out oxygen (O2)  which is essential for breathing. The process is called photosynthesis.

Drawing1b

Christ, at Calvary, took on the sins of this world and cleansed us from sin, and then gave us the Holy Spirit which is eternal life. This is symbolized in the natural by oxygen which is our physical breath of life.

No man can duplicate the miracle that Jesus achieved with His death, burial, and resurrection.

This miracle of photosynthesis, which scientists also cannot duplicate, is what supports life on earth.

The main chemical that does this is green chlorophyll.

The inside portion of the chlorophyll molecule looks like :

Drawing14a

The interesting part is the four nitrogen (N) atoms that surround the central magnesium (Mg).

Magnesium is made up of 24 particles. (12 protons and 12 neutrons)

This setup reminds us of the view of Heaven that John had in Revelation Chapter 4.

Drawing8b275

Revelation 4:2   And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Revelation 4:6   … and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

Eyes speak of intelligence. These creatures know the past that is behind and they know the future that still lies before us. These are the bodyguards around God’s throne who protect the church during the two thousand years of church history.

Revelation 4:7    And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

Notice the arrangement. Four beasts around a central throne. Just like the four nitrogen atoms (N) that are around the central magnesium (Mg) in chlorophyll.

Revelation 4:4   And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

There are 24 men who sit around the throne. Twelve Apostles from the New Testament (with Paul replacing Judas) and twelve Patriarchs from the twelve tribes of Israel of the Old Testament.

The Greek alphabet has 24 letters. Jesus is the Word. The New Testament is written in Greek using 24 letters of the alphabet.

Now, most fascinating, we find that the magnesium atom has twenty four particles. Twelve protons and twelve neutrons. Just like the arrangement in Heaven.

The Saturn V rocket was the most powerful of the American moon rockets.

Drawing17e

Notice the arrangement. Four rocket exhausts placed around a central exhaust. This was the best way that the space engineers could handle this incredible power at liftoff.

Life is an incredible power. The four nitrogen atoms around the central magnesium atom are the way Nature handles life. This pattern obviously comes down from Heaven and is used by every green leaf to make food.

Then we eat fruit and vegetables to get life from them.

We also need to breathe the oxygen that the green leaves give out.

This oxygen is vital and is carried from our lungs by means of the red blood cells in our arteries. The miracle of carrying oxygen in the blood is performed by the red blood cells because they possess a molecule called "haem".

The inner portion of the haem looks surprisingly similar to the inner portion of chlorophyll.

Drawing14b

The main difference is that the central atom is iron (Fe  or ferrum in Latin, the language of pagan Rome). This iron makes the blood red.

The iron carries oxygen to the body cells.

Now the greatest power ever was displayed on the cross. That is where Jesus defeated Satan, sin, hell, and the grave. That was the greatest victory ever won.

Our sins are forgiven when we wash them by faith in the shed Blood of Jesus.

Revelation 1:5   And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

When Jesus died, the Holy Spirit which was the Life in His Blood, was released so that the Holy Spirit could come and live in our repentant hearts and keep us from sin by guiding us into all truth.

Jesus on the cross was the central Character.

Four Roman soldiers stood around the cross, represented by the four nitrogen atoms around the iron.

Drawing16_210

John 19:23   Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part;

But the Roman empire was symbolized in Daniel’s Gentile image as iron legs.

So iron is the symbol of the Roman empire. And the Romans shed the Blood of Christ.

IMG_7152

The head of gold was Babylon. The chest and arms of silver were the Medes and the Persians. The belly and thighs of brass were the Greeks. The legs of iron were the Eastern (yellow-brown region) and the Western (green) halves of the Roman empire.

Heavenly power dwells in our hearts when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour to dwell within us.

The heart has four chambers.

Drawing4b

The four chambers of the heart represent the four beasts around the throne.

In addition, the 4 chambers of the heart are surrounded by 24 ribs. Just like the pattern in Heaven with the four beasts and the 24 elders around the central throne.

Drawing13c_230

We see this pattern of 4 beasts and 24 elders repeated in Heaven.

What we learn from monocot corn and dicot bean seeds

We can also learn basic Gospel truths from the structure of plants and trees.

Corn is another name for a mealie.

Plants and trees have two types of seed.

Drawing5a

The seed of life of a bean plant is made from two parts, called a dicot.

Christians gain eternal life by being born again. This process is like natural birth where a baby starts growing in the mother’s womb and then gets born when the baby begins to breathe by itself.

A person repents and by faith accepts Jesus as his or her personal Saviour. The person realizes that his or her soul is washed clean of sin in the Blood of Jesus. This secures the believer a place in Heaven when they die. Salvation is by faith but not by works. God injects a portion of His Holy Spirit into that person’s heart, say as big as your thumbnail. When that person dies, then the little bit of the Holy Spirit in them takes their forgiven soul back to God.

A woman represents the church. The true church is called the Bride of Christ.

Saved Christians are represented by virgins in the Bible, clean women.

But there are wise and foolish virgins in the parable of Matthew Chapter 25.

The problem for a saved Christian is to grow in grace until they become part of the wise virgins who know enough of the Bible not to be deceived by church traditions and human opinions.

As a saved person grows in holiness, so the portion of the Holy Spirit in them increases in size. This person, due to lack of Bible knowledge, is heavily influenced by the church traditions that they happen to be in and its leader’s opinions. Christians always want to be popular with the church people and agree with them on any topic.

This is a basic human weakness that we need to be accepted in some group and we will compromise to gain acceptance.

Having got saved and learning some aspects of holiness, that was good progress as we trusted Jesus. The problem is that the person, once in a church, is at the mercy of whatever church beliefs (Churchianity) the church has that they happened to join into. For instance, there are numerous versions of water baptism. The person ends up subscribing to whatever water baptism their chosen church happens to practice. Had they joined in with a different church, they would have been baptized differently. This indicates that our denominational church systems are on shaky ground. Only one water baptism can be correct. All the rest are phony or fake news.

Each church encourages its members to stay away from people who disagree with them, especially if those dissenters ask questions that cannot be answered. A good Trinitarian (an unscriptural word) who believes that God the Father is a different Person to the Holy Ghost will be advised to avoid someone who explains that if the Holy Ghost placed the Seed of Life in the womb of Mary, then surely the Holy Ghost is the Father of the body of Christ.

The Holy Ghost and God the Father must be the same Person. No baby can have two different fathers.

So belonging to a church is a mixed blessing as the people in the church learn both good and wrong doctrines.

The Holy Ghost baptism is when the Spirit of Christ in the person finally grows to the stage where Christ can control that person. This is when the person is fully born again because the Spirit of Christ can now reveal the mysteries of the Bible to the person.

With Jesus as Lord of their lives, people can now start finding out Bible truths for themselves and also have enough backbone to disagree with the pastor who is head of the church. The word pastor is only mentioned once in the New Testament. Nowhere does the Bible say that a pastor is the shepherd of the sheep.

Nowhere does the Bible say that a pastor is head of the church. Jesus is the Head of the church, and only a Spirit-filled person can realize this.

The Holy Ghost rebirth is to give the individual insight into Scripture and the courage to oppose wrong doctrines. This will not lead to an increase in popularity. Once we belong to the Lord we start to crave truth, not the desire to be accepted by people who believe in error.

So the born-again Christian now begins to focus his or her life on the New Testament and the Old Testament.

These are the two portions of the “dicot” Seed of eternal Life.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

The Holy Spirit in the person now guides that person by revealing the mysteries of Scripture so that they know what they have to do and what they have to believe to qualify as the Bride of Christ.

The wise virgins have oil in their lamps (the Holy Spirit) in order to produce light. This light is there to shine on something and reveal it. That something is the Word of God.

The evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism is the ability to understand the mysteries of the written Word that are hidden away in the Bible verses. This search knows no end, it just keeps on unfolding.

Dicot bean seed has two parts.

Symbolizing that both the New and the Old Testaments join together to reveal the Truth.

A Spirit-filled Christian never says of any Bible verse, “It is not important”.

All Scripture is good. The King James Version of the Bible is the infallible and Absolute truth.

2 Timothy 3:16   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Everything was written for a reason. Those who are not interested in finding out the reason are just not interested in Jesus. Thus they cannot be His Bride. He is the Word and we should be interested in every aspect of Him if we want to marry Him.

Message people say brother Branham never spoke on a certain verse so we cannot know it.

They are merely saying that their obsession with quotes over the last 50 years or so since brother Branham’s death has blinded them so that, like the other denominations, they are totally incapable of understanding Scripture. Thus they testify that they have insufficient oil to produce enough light to illuminate the Word of God.

Actually, all they are saying is that they are the sleeping virgins.

But there is another group that God is turning back to. A special group that the Bible talks about. The Jews.

During the church ages, they have rejected the New Testament and only believed in the Old Testament. This makes them a seed that has one portion only, called a “monocot”, like a mealie.

Monocots (Jews) have no main taproot but have fibrous roots.

Over the two thousand years of church history, since the Romans expelled the Jews from Palestine, the Jewish faith has undergone many variations as numerous leaders have arisen that influenced them at different times. There is no one Jewish belief. They believe in different interpretations and traditions that are built around the Old Testament.

The Gentile believers (dicots), despite all the errors of the denominational churches, had a salvation experience by accepting Jesus as Saviour. Thus the Christians had a “taproot” that they could hang onto. Jesus is the Taproot because He is the central focus of salvation. We are the side roots that are attached to the main taproot. All Christians should have one common experience, Jesus Christ died for our sins at Calvary. That makes Him the only way to Heaven.

If we cut through the stem of a dicot plant (representing the church), we find that the tubes that carry the sap up and down the stem are arranged in bundles that form a circle.

Drawing6

This symbolizes the church starting at the top and then falling away in the Dark Ages as one goes down on the left. Then the bundles rise up on the right as they return back to the original position where it started. This is a lovely illustration of the restoration of the church back to the New Testament beliefs of the early church.

The monocot stem (representing the Jews) has scattered tubes that represent the Jews being scattered amongst the nations for almost 2000 years.

The leaves of a dicot (church) plant have a network of veins that lead off from the main central vein. This again illustrates that Christians are primarily attached to their personal relationship with Christ.

Drawing16cd

But the Christian church has run through different ages and faced different circumstances in different ways throughout their history. So different dicot leaves from different types of dicot seeds have different patterns of veins in their leaves, that surround the main vein.

The monocot (Jewish) leaves have no main vein. All the veins run parallel to each other.

The Jews, scattered throughout the world, have somehow maintained a similar worldwide Jewishness. They did not get absorbed by their host nations. They served these nations well, despite often being persecuted and killed. Their paths are parallel in the sense that so many Jews from all over the world have gone back to their Promised Land to await their meeting with Messiah. “Next year in Jerusalem” was a rallying cry that sustained their faith over the hundreds of years of their dispersion.

The star of David is their flag. David is by far the oldest name associated with any nation’s flag today.

Hebrew is the oldest language that is spoken today.

No other nation was expelled from their homeland for almost 2000 years and came back to restore their homeland that had degraded into swamps and deserts and abject poverty in their absence.

No other nation endured such hostility, forced evictions, confiscation of goods, and murderous persecutions in so many countries.

The parallel veins showed that they endured similar hardships and hatreds as they survived in different parts of the world and were drawn by a common attraction towards their Promised Land.

Flowers are interesting.

Monocot (Jewish) flowers have three or six petals. They rejected their Messiah with three nails on the cross.

When they decided to fulfill their prophecy and return to their Promised Land, then they chose as their symbol the six-pointed star of David.

The dicot (church) flowers have four or five petals.

Four is the obvious number associated with the cross.

Five is the number of wounds that Jesus received from Roman iron, the nails and the spear.

This is the Blood that saved us and heals us from sickness. This is Grace (5 letters).

To make a small bonsai tree that never grows big, gardeners cut off the taproot. The tree can then only send out small little roots. A shallow root system stops the growth. The tree looks just like a big tree but becomes stunted.

The tiny bonsai tree is on the left with its shallow root system.

Jesus is the Word of God. So when Christians neglect their study of the Bible and dismiss Scriptures as contradictions or irrelevant, then they are cutting off their relationship with Jesus which stunts their spiritual growth.

What you say about the King James Bible is what you are saying about Jesus.

Luke 18:8   Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Romans 10:17   So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The faith that Jesus is looking for is not people saying that they have faith in God but rather people who are believing what is written in Scripture.

The Bible is the taproot that anchors our faith, and this taproot shrinks when we say that it is not necessary to know what certain verses mean.

“Must we know?”   “It does not affect my salvation”. This is the standard evasion to cover our ignorance of the Bible.

Nothing can affect your salvation if you have genuinely repented and accepted Jesus as your Saviour.

We are now talking about getting ready for the wedding supper. Any bride-to-be who says she is not interested in aspects of her husband (the Word) is unlikely to be invited to the wedding supper.

Only saved Christians will be bidden to the wedding supper in Luke Chapter 14. But none will make it because they put church opinions and their own interests ahead of the Word of God.

Luke 14:24   For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

By shrinking their interest in the revelation of the Bible mysteries, modern-day Christians are becoming Bible bonsai trees. They become babies of Bible knowledge, known for their Bible illiteracy.

“I do not know and I do not need to know”.

A sentence in praise of ignorance.

The church of the Laodiceans is declared to be blind. The modern churches sadly fulfill that prophecy.

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” — 1 Corinthians 16:23
