Genesis 6:1   And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

:2     That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

:3  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

:4  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

:5     And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

This is asking an incredibly deep question. There is no simple answer as many threads in the Bible run together at this point.

In Genesis Chapter 6 verse 2 the sons of God married the daughters of men. In verse 4 they no longer married and just lived together. This involved a moral collapse just the same as is happening today. Famous people like sport stars, movie stars, and music stars just live with their partners and produce illegitimate children. So today is a just a re-run of events from before the Flood.

The central issue that angered God is the lack of morality involving sex. Morality had degenerated into living in sin, and childbirth outside of marriage. This was applauded by the people, especially when it was the leaders and the famous people who indulged in this wrong lifestyle.

Eternal Life cannot come through sex. Life born from sex normally lasts less than 120 years today. Very few people live to over 120. Definitely not eternal. God made strict rules to permit sex only when a man and his wife are legally married. So sex robs us of eternal life and living in sin robs people of the morality that marriage grants mankind.

Thus God decided to wipe out mankind. Immoral people are not welcome in Heaven, and God did not even want them on earth either. After all, the earth is His creation, not ours.

Eve’s punishment in Genesis Chapter 3 involves original sin. Virtually no denomination can tell you what Adam and Eve did wrong, other than to say that they were disobedient. But what did they actually do? That is a mystery long hidden behind a veil of church secrecy and ignorance.

Did they eat a physical fruit? No, because God declared all the fruit trees good on the third day of Genesis Chapter 1. No one tree was singled out as bad and thus forbidden.

Genesis 1:12   And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

So what does a fruit represent or symbolize if it is not an actual fruit like an apple?

They both committed the same sin by eating the same fruit. But God punished them in two completely different ways. Eve with a difficult childbirth, and Adam by having to wrestle a hard living from a reluctant earth.

Genesis 1:28   And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:

In Chapter 1 of Genesis God told Adam and his wife to multiply and replenish the earth. That would require many conceptions so that sons and daughters would be born.

Genesis 5:4   And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Then these children would marry each other. Not the greatest idea, since no child can receive Eternal Life through the sex act. Thus all their children would be doomed to die anyway. This was a very short term solution that is filled with problems: adultery, fornication, pregnant schoolgirls, HIV Aids, sexually transmitted diseases, prostitution, sex slaves, rape, etc.

Born of sex is a recipe for future disaster as it ends in death.

(The sad irony of our lives is that more people come to our funeral than to our birthdays.)

In Chapter 3 God punishes Eve by saying that He will multiply her conception.

Genesis 3:16   Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

But she would have to have many conceptions to produce children that could inter-marry in order to multiply mankind. So how can many conceptions be her punishment?

The issue here is that she is being punished for having a conception. So her original sin was to introduce the sex act. That act automatically condemned her children to death. “The day you eat thereof that day you die”.

Genesis 2:17    But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

2 Peter 3:8  one day is with the Lord as a thousand years.

So no one born of a woman can live more than 1 000 years. Methuselah was the oldest when he made 969 years.

Notice, when Jesus returns, He will resurrect the dead saints who had repented and accepted Him as their personal Saviour when they lived during their portion of the 2000 years of church history. They will receive a new glorified body from the dust, not from a woman. The first thing these saints do, when the great Tribulation is over, is to rule with Jesus for 1000 years, known as the Millennium. Why?

By living for 1000 years they have proved that they are free from the curse that God spoke to Adam and Eve. Having made the first thousand years, these saints can go on into eternity knowing that they have eternal life flowing through their veins instead of blood.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

(Notice how Hitler claimed that his Third Reich would last 1000 years. He was trying to imitate Jesus. It actually lasted 12 years. Twelve is the number of his hated enemy, the twelve tribes of Israel. Hitler died in 1945. In 1947 the United Nations voted to grant the Jews a homeland in Palestine).

For eternal life to manifest itself so that you never die physically, you have to have a body that has no blood in it, and thus no belly button. The mark of the beast on our bodies is the scar of the belly button. That is due to the umbilical cord that connected us to our mother, who was connected to her mother, all the way back to Eve who is called the mother of all living. The umbilical cord is a symbol of God’s permissive will, as it represents us being born in the pipeline of time, not eternity.

Genesis 3:20   And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

The woman (who symbolizes a church) only got a name after she had sinned. So as soon as a church calls itself by some name (Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Message believers etc), then it means that church has fallen into sin or unbelief. Believers should only call themselves Christians.

The serpent was the top animal or mammal before being cursed, and changed into a snake.

Genesis 3:1   Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Thus the serpent is the missing link between man and ape that the scientists cannot find. The serpent, as the top animal which could speak and reason, was made superior to an ape or a parrot. The serpent used these God-given talents to persuade Eve to sin by bringing forth life through sex.

The serpent was closer to man than the ape. He looked very much like a man. He had to be bigger and stronger than Adam in order to impress Eve. (The big American general MacArthur towered over the much smaller Japanese emperor after world war 2 and thereby suitably impressed the Japanese people to obey him when he ruled Japan after world war 2).

Women have a veil of virginity. The sex act breaks this hymen and sheds blood. That is how sin started, and thus God requires the shedding of blood for the remission of sin.

Adam is never called the father of all living. Cain is never mentioned as the son of Adam.

The Book of Chronicles that mentions all the descendants, never mentions Cain.

Adam knew his wife once in Genesis 4: 1–2 and she gave birth to twins.

Genesis 4:1   And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

:2     And she again bare his brother Abel.

One act, and yet two children were born.

Eve claimed that Cain came from God. That is correct. Life can only come from God. Man cannot create life. Why did Eve not mention Adam as the father of Cain? Mothers are proud to mention their husbands as the father of their child.

I John 3:12   Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother.

Cain was born of the wicked one. This is linked to the Devil who was in the serpent.

Matthew 13:38   The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

:39   The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

By mentioning God, Eve was indicating that she was convinced that she had done no wrong. God had told her to multiply and she had done it by the only way that she could think of.

Proverbs 30:20  Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth and wipeth her mouth, and sayeth, I have done no wickedness.

Eating is a symbol for sex. Food ends up in the stomach after being eaten. A baby ends up swelling the mother’s "stomach".

The Bible mentions no human father for Cain. But the Bible speaks of the seed (or son) of the serpent that would do battle with the Seed of the woman.

Genesis 3:14    And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed

The serpent was turned into a snake that had to crawl on its belly. So Cain was the seed (or son) of the serpent. He was a big impressive serpent-human hybrid that looked just like a man. The sons of God were the descendants of Adam through Seth and Adam’s other sons. The daughters of men were the female descendants of Cain, the human-serpent hybrid. Inter marrying with these hybrids broke God's Word that humans should bring forth of their own kind.  Many of these hybrids were giants and famous men.

Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

God wanted everything to bring forth of its own kind. A hybrid like Cain was wrong.

These verses are sometimes twisted by people who use them in a racist context. We are not saying anything against different races of humans. We are referring to a hybrid like Cain who had a serpent father and a human mother.

Genesis 4:17   And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

The vanity of famous men is to name a city after themselves. Romulus built Rome. Constantine built Constantinople.

Genesis 4:21   And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

These were musicians like our modern pop stars with their beat music, e.g. Kurt Kobain who killed himself, and Michael Jackson and Prince who overdosed on pain killers.

Genesis 4:22   And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron:

These were skilled metal workers, and they made machinery.

They lived almost 1000 years. This gave them plenty of time to make great reputations as well as being men of antiquity. The Flood of Noah happened about 1700 years after Adam sinned. That was plenty of time for an ancient history to develop. If we go that far back in our history we would end up in the Roman empire. That has been plenty of time for famous men to be the heroes of antiquity.

When Adam’s line married Cain’s line, that was wrong. God wanted a pure line, uncontaminated by hybrids. When Adam’s line just lived in sin with Cain’s line that really upset God, as no pure line would then be left because of their immoral mess and degeneration.

Cain was incurably evil, having murdered his brother after speaking to him. He then lied to the face of God, the only person ever to do so.

Genesis 4:3    And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

:4     And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

:5   But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

:8  And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

God accepted Abel’s sacrifice when he killed a lamb. God had refused Cain’s sacrifice of flowers, fruit, and vegetables.

Cain was angry that flowers and fruit and vegetables did not please God as a sacrifice for sin.

He then asked his brother Abel why shedding the blood of a lamb was acceptable to God. Abel explained about the shed blood of Eve’s virginity, and the animal that caused this sin. An animal, the missing link serpent,  produced sin when it broke Eve’s hymen causing blood to be shed. Thus only the shed blood of an animal could atone for sin.

Cain then realized that the snake that was crawling around had once been the top beast, a great big handsome creature that had impressed Eve. Now the serpent was just a lowly, repulsive, and scary snake. And that had been his father!

Imagine the shock that was to his ego and pride. It was essential to silence Abel before he revealed that news to the rest of the children of Adam and Eve. So Cain covered up his background by killing Abel, and the present day church has been unable to uncover this great mystery.

Denominations still insist that Cain is the first born of Adam, even though Cain is never mentioned as a son of Adam in the Book of Chronicles. Cain was (born) of the wicked one. This cannot be Adam, as Adam was the son of God.

Luke 3:38   Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Meanwhile in our modern world sexual sins and perversions run rampant through society, while the church desperately denies that sex was the original sin.

Look at a picture of a male sperm. It looks just like a snake with a head and a long tail.

A male sperm is thus the seed of the serpent.

Genesis 3:14    And the LORD God said unto the serpent, ……

:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed.

Born of a sperm cell, we are doomed to die.

Born of a sperm cell, we are serpent seed.

The only way to escape this is to be born again.

God cursed the upright serpent beast and made it crawl on its belly, which is the fate of the snake. Why? Because the original serpent lay on his belly on top of Eve.

God gave the snake a forked tongue, a symbol of telling lies and truth, because the original serpent told Eve some truth as well as some lies.

The serpent said “Your eyes will be opened, you’ll be as gods”. To be a god you have to be able to create life. Eve could produce a child. Now the snake has no eyelids and cannot close its eyes. Its punishment was to have permanently open eyes which cannot be too comfortable. A snake cannot blink, which gives it a scary look.

Genesis 3:14   And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Cattle and beasts are mammals. The serpent was cursed from being a mammal and turned into a reptile, which is lower than any mammal. The snake has poison in its mouth because the serpent had poisoned Eve’s thinking to make her interpret God’s Word wrongly.

This leaves the final question. How did God intend Adam and Eve to multiply?

Genesis 2:25  And they were both naked the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

God covered Adam and Eve originally in a veil of innocence where they had no sexual desire. They were just like little children.

They had eternal life and would never die, as long as they remained in God’s will. Thus they had the Holy Ghost flowing through their veins, not blood.

1 Corinthians 15:50   Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;

Genesis 2:23   And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

When referring to his bride, Adam made no reference to blood.

This is exactly how Jesus described His resurrected Body. He had offered His Blood as a Sacrifice for our sins.

Luke 24:39   Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Without blood in their bodies, sex was not possible.

But God wanted them to have free will.

So if they wanted to go down a different path to what God wanted of them, then God had to provide them with the ability to do so. Thus they had the organs to bring forth natural life, but could not do so until they had blood in their bodies.

To have blood in their veins, they would have to reject the Holy Spirit that was in their veins.

When they thought of disobeying God's Word, that was unbelief. The Holy Ghost thus left them, and God had to fill their complex system of veins and arteries with blood in order to keep them alive.

Genesis 9:4
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Leviticus 17:11  For the life of the flesh is in the blood:

Our bodies are very complex, they have 60 000 miles of blood vessels.

All the DNA in your body could stretch from the Sun to dwarf planet Pluto, at the edge of our solar system, and back 17 times. We are an incredibly complex piece of “machinery”. But kept alive by "blood life" we can only last so many years, and then have to die. The tens of thousands of different proteins that maintain our complexity quickly wear out, and have to be replaced by new proteins.

John 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Holy Ghost in their veins would make them obedient to the Word of God. Spirit filled people do not speak or brag about themselves. They remain captive to the Word of God.

James 1:18   Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth,

As long as Adam and his wife just did what the Word of God said, they were fine.

But free will breeds curiosity. Humans are curious about sin which seems, at first, a plausible alternative. Only when exposed to the awful consequences of sin will humans realize how bad it was to not obey God’s will.

So we humans have to learn that our free will is dangerous, as it guides us into sin and plausible unbelief with its emphasis on self and pride.

Jeremiah 10:23   O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Society and the world have too many complex undercurrents that we cannot understand. Thus we are incapable of making all the correct decisions that daily need to be made. We fail to realize that the Devil is a very powerful and a very cunning enemy. We cannot oppose him in our own strength and need to shelter behind the Word of God. Jesus opposed the Devil by quoting Scripture. “It is written….”.

Jeremiah 17:9   The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

The human brain is far more complex than what we realize. We do not have the intelligence to fully control our advanced thinking skills. We are completely incapable of keeping our own thoughts under proper control, as our thinking is undermined by our ignorance. We learn from others, but can easily be educated above our intelligence which traps us in error. Our curiosity is easily fooled by subtle errors that lead us to believe things both good and evil.

Thus we must of our own free will offer up our inadequate control of our free will to God, and accept His will in our lives. It is in dying to self that we come alive in God.

Only the horror of sin’s consequences and the endless suffering that it causes drives us back to God with a realization that we must obey His will, not our own free will. We have to fail in our own attempts before we can really hand over control of our lives to Him.

Adam and his wife were to wait on God, and not seek their own interpretation of how to “be fruitful and multiply”.

Genesis 1:28   And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth,

What did God mean by this statement?

John 4: 24  God is a Spirit.

Job 38:4  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?

: 7  and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Hebrews 7:9   And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

We were all in our fathers, grandfathers, and great grandfathers physically. We have no remembrance of that.

The spirits of believers were in God from the beginning, although we have no remembrance of that either.

In God were the human attributes of His future church that He calls His Bride.

In order for man to be in the image of God,  God created a small masculine spirit which He called Adam. In this spirit were the feminine attributes of his future bride.

They were to multiply spiritually. This alone could bring forth eternal life. How was this possible?

God made fruit trees whose seed was in the fruit itself.

Genesis 1:11   And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Elizabeth said to Mary “Blessed is the fruit of thy womb”.

Luke 1:42   And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

Fruit is a symbol for a baby.

The mother is thus the fruit tree.

The parable of the sower in Luke 8: 11 has the seed being the Word of God.

LUKE 8:11     Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

So God told Adam and his wife (the fruit tree) to be fruitful and thereby produce a fruit (Baby) whose seed (the Word of God) is in itself.

The Baby that is born must be the full Word of God. This would only be possible when the Holy Ghost overshadowed the woman, and created in her womb the virgin born Jesus. He would grow up and there would be no sin to die for. He would then call up all His saints from the dust of the earth (as He had done with Adam). Everyone would be full of eternal life and live forever. Death would not have entered.

This whole plan was impossible for Adam and Eve to fulfill. Their only hope was to wait on God and wait for Him to place their male and female spirits into human bodies. The diagram represents God's Holy Spirit in Adam which would keep him obedient to the Word of God. Then they would be like Joseph and Mary.

They would have to wait until the Holy Spirit overshadowed the woman, like Mary, and created the virgin born Son in her womb. It was impossible for any human efforts to fulfill this plan.

A garden is a symbol of a woman.

Song of Solomon 4: 12   A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse: a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

A woman is a protected vessel. A veil of virginity protects her womb which is the spring or fountain of life. This womb is in the midst of her body, in other words in the midst of the garden.

God dwelt as a Spirit behind the veil in the Tabernacle and the Temple. Caiaphas the high priest had a robe that was not to be torn.

God spoke in the Old Testament of a robe that was to be worn by Aaron the high priest.

EXODUS 28:30   And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.

:31  And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

:32     And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.

When Caiaphas questioned Jesus he tore this robe in rage.

Matthew 26:65   Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?

This act broke the Word of God, and that ended the Law. God then responded by tearing up the Temple veil when Jesus died.

The Temple veil hid the Holy of holies where God had lived, hidden away from people’s sight.

Matthew 27:51   And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

God, Who is eternal life, used this torn veil to indicate that He no longer lived behind that veil. It was no longer the Holy of holies, the source of eternal life. Thus there is no eternal life behind a torn veil.

When a woman’s veil of virginity is torn, the baby she produces cannot contain eternal life in itself.

Mary produced a Baby that developed behind a veil of virginity that was intact. This eternal life came from within, not from without her womb. That is what makes Jesus the Tree of Life. He has eternal life.

God and Satan were in competition to use the womb of Eve.

God wanted to use the womb of Eve for the virgin birth that would only be one conception and a long range eternal life. Satan wanted to persuade Eve to use her womb for multiplication by numerous sex acts that produce a torn veil and short range lives that die.

Why the symbol of a tree as the tree of life?

A tree is the longest lived thing on earth. The Bristlecone Pine trees in America have been estimated as being 4600 years old. This is almost perpetual life and is thus the most appropriate symbol for eternal life.

Knowledge is an alternate word for sex as the sex act is legally defined as carnal knowledge.

Genesis 4:25  And  Adam knew his wife again: and she bare a son.

This revelation was originally known to the early church, but was then lost in the passage of the Dark Ages.

Paul speaks to the church (symbolized as a woman, the bride of Christ) at Corinth and says:

2 Corinthians 11:2-3“for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his subtility…..”  

Paul compares a chaste virgin with the beguiled (or fooled) Eve. Thus Eve was no longer a virgin after her dealings with the serpent.

So born of sex we makes us serpent seed. We need to confess our sins, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour because He is the promised woman’s Seed. Jesus is the only Man ever born outside the sex act.

God would win through the Seed of the woman. The virgin-born Jesus.

Speaking to the woman God said :

Genesis 3:15   And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

But a woman has not got a seed.

So a seed (son) has to be given to her.

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born and unto us a son is given.

Jesus was born of a virgin, and bypassed the sex act. Jesus was thus given to us by God.

The Seed of the woman therefore had no human father.

Cain, the first seed of the serpent, also had no human father.

All humans, born of a woman, have no spiritual Father. Thus we have to be born again in order for the Holy Spirit of God to be our spiritual Father. Then alone we have eternal life.
