Was a 3-Person God at the baptism of Jesus?

Jesus on the river bank. The Holy Ghost descends. God the Father speaks from Heaven. How can this be one God?

The Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus

To make a Trinity they claim the presence of the unseen God the Father by referring to His voice that said, "This is My beloved Son".

God is a Spirit and God is holy.

So "Holy Spirit" is the most concise description of God.

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit:

PSALM 99:9   ... for the LORD our God is holy.

MATTHEW 3:16   And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

:17   And lo a voice from heaven,

saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Drawing17a

Who spoke and said, “This is My beloved Son”? It must be God the Father.

The father of a child is the man who places the seed of life (the male sperm) into the womb of the mother. Only a woman can grow a body around this seed until the fully formed baby is born.

Mary was the mother. Who placed the Seed of eternal Life in her womb?

The Bible said that it was the Holy Ghost.

MATTHEW 1:20   But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:

for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

MATTHEW 1:18   Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together,

she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Twice the Bible says that the Holy Ghost placed the Seed of Life in Mary's womb.

So the Holy Ghost has to be the Father of Jesus!

But a Baby cannot have two Fathers.

Thus the Holy Ghost is God the Father.

Therefore the Holy Ghost spoke as He descended like a Dove onto Jesus.

So now it looks like two People. If you think that a Dove is a Person.

By manifesting Himself as a Dove, the Holy Spirit was trying to tell us that He is not another Person. A dove is not a person.

Even if you think that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are two separate Persons, it is obviously not a Trinity.

The Holy Ghost never entered Jesus but rested on Him

JOHN 1:32   And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

Most important.  The Holy Ghost never entered Jesus. The Holy Ghost rested on Him.

This was an anointing, not a Holy Ghost baptism.

Why was there a washing, and then an anointing?

The Man Jesus was the Lamb of God. The sacrificial lamb had to be washed according to the Law of Moses.

II CHRONICLES 4:6   He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them:

such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; ...

A laver looked like a bowl or basin of water on a stand. It was used for washing the sacrifices.

Drawing1i

When John the Baptist baptized Jesus he was actually washing the sacrificial Lamb.

But Jesus is also the High Priest.

Look how the first high priest, Aaron, was prepared for his ministry by the prophet Moses.

EXODUS 40:12   And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

and wash them with water.

:13     And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

The high priest had to be washed and anointed with oil.

The prophet John could only wash the High Priest Jesus.

After that he just watched until He saw the anointing of the Holy Spirit come down and rest on Him. Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit.

ACTS 10:38   How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost

and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Nowhere does the Bible say that Jesus was baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Nowhere does the Bible say that the Holy Ghost went into Him as He stood on the banks of the Jordan river.

JOHN 1:33   And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt

see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him,

the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

This was the anointing of the High Priest after the prophet John had washed Him.

HEBREWS 13:8   Jesus Christ the same same yesterday, and to day and for ever.

So Jesus cannot change.

If the fulness of the Holy Ghost went into Him, it would be impossible for Him not to change.

This means the fulness of the Holy Spirit always was in Him.

JOHN 3:34   For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God:

for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

COLOSSIANS 1:19   For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Drawing1a

JOHN 3:35   The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

The Father is the supernatural Spirit of God, because

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit

But God also has human attributes, because man was made in the image of God.

God has human attributes as man was made in His image

So the supernatural God wanted to live in a human Body as man was His highest form of creation.

But the only human being that God could live in and express Himself through, was the humanity of the Man Jesus.

I PETER 1:10   Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

:11   Searching what,

or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them

did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Each prophet had a portion of God’s Spirit which enabled him to express some aspect of Christ’s ministry.

Moses, David, and Joseph had lives which pre-viewed Jesus' birth, His anointing as King and also His death, etc.

All the Jewish boy children were killed by Pharaoh when Moses was born. Herod gave the order to kill all the Jewish boy children when he heard that Jesus had been born.

David was anointed king as the youngest son of Jesse but had to wait until his enemy Saul died before he could be crowned king.   Jesus was anointed King by the Holy Ghost descending on Him like a Dove, but He has to wait until His great enemy, the antichrist prince who as the man of sin brings in great Tribulation, is destroyed at Armageddon. Only then can Jesus take over the Earth as King in the Millennium.

Joseph was hated of his brothers and falsely sentenced to jail in the company of two criminals. The baker died and the butler lived. Jesus was hated of His brethren the Jews and was falsely sentenced to die in the presence of two thieves on Calvary. One accepted Him and gained eternal life. The other died and went to hell.

The after-supper communion saw the bread being broken, symbolized by the baker dying.

So in the Old Testament, God could live out part of His Life through each of the prophets.

But God longed to live in a human Body where He could live out the fulness of His humanity.

Ezekiel saw a vision of God Who had created a Spirit Body for Himself so that He could be seen by the angels in Heaven. This Body looked just like a man.

Drawing24

EZEKIEL 1:26   And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne

was the likeness as the appearance of a man

above upon it.

Sapphire is a blue stone. So the blue sky above us is symbolic of God's throne and a reminder that He is ever above us.

The invisible Spirit of God the Father was trying to express His humanity by dwelling in this human-like Spirit Body called a Theophany, that was visible to spiritual beings like angels in Heaven.

The Son is the Spirit Body that the invisible supernatural Father dwelt in.

The Old Testament God was never called God the Father

No Spirit Body that God made for Himself in the Old Testament could ever manifest all of God's power and ability.

So, no Spirit Body that God made for Himself was the proper or full Son of God.

That is why God never called Himself God the Father in the Old Testament.

The true Son of God could only be begotten when God was fully able to dwell in the virgin-born Man, Jesus.

So how did all of God get to dwell in the human Man Jesus?

There was a key prophecy to explain what the birth of Jesus was all about.

ISAIAH 7:14   Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Immanuel means God with us.

MATTHEW 1:23   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name

Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

ISAIAH 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,

The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus as a human being was called the Son of God from His birth to His death.

Here it is clear that the Son who was born was the mighty God and the everlasting Father.

Wise men realized this and that is why they worshipped Him as God.

If you do not regard the Baby Jesus as being the mighty God and the everlasting Father, then you are not wise.

How can the Spirit of God the Father be both in Him and also descend on Him like a dove as the anointing?

Think of Elijah being caught up to Heaven. His mantle fell down and was picked up by Elisha. A mantle is a cloth that is draped over the shoulders. It rests on the person’s shoulders. Symbolic of the anointing of the Spirit that rests on us to enable us to achieve some goal for God.

Drawing30a

Elijah was alive which meant that his spirit was in him. Yet his spirit was also in his mantle which fell on Elisha to anoint him. Elijah's spirit was projected into his mantle.

The red shape in the picture represents the spirit of Elijah.

II KINGS 2:11   And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

:13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

II KINGS 2:15   And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said,

The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

The spirit of Elijah did not go into Elisha, it rested on him. This gave Elisha a double portion.

II KINGS 2:9   And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee,

let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

Think of Saul of Tarsus on his road to Damascus.

He sees a bright Light which is God’s Spirit. The Light says that He is Jesus. Yet Jesus has to sit in His sacrificial Body on the mercy seat until the last soul comes in.

ACTS 3:20   And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

:21     Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things,

which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

“Restitution” means “restoration”.

MATTHEW 17:11   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Jesus cannot return until Elias (Greek for Elijah) has restored us back to the early New Testament church of the apostolic fathers.

Until then Jesus cannot return, He has to stay on the mercy seat in Heaven.

Jesus does not come back to earth to reveal the mysteries to brother Branham.

Jesus will only come back to earth once the revealed mysteries have restored us back to the beliefs of the apostolic church.

HEBREWS 7:25   Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him,

seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

He never stops making intercession. So He never leaves the mercy seat. Yet He can project His Spirit down to Earth. The red shape represents the supernatural Spirit of God.

The name Jehovah is not mentioned in the New Testament

Drawing31a

So, sitting on the mercy seat, Jesus is able to project His Spirit down as a dazzlingly bright Light that can speak to Saul.

ACTS 9:3   And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

:4     And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

:5     And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said,

I am Jesus

whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Paul called the Light “Lord”.

A Jew would only call Jehovah God “Lord”.

So Paul discovered that the Jesus of the New Testament is none other than the human name of the Jehovah of the Old Testament.

That is why the name of Jehovah is never mentioned in the New Testament.

The Spirit of God behaves in a similar manner to a television.

A living announcer in the broadcasting studio suddenly appears on every television screen. But you cannot touch the TV images (you can only touch the TV screen).

So despite all the look-alike images, there is only one person who is the announcer.

The images that are projected into the TV sets are not separate people.

Drawing65a

There was one Jesus sitting on the mercy seat but He projected His supernatural Spirit (just like a TV image but the Spirit did not need the television box and screen) down to Saul.

Jesus does the same today where He projects His Spirit into the hearts of born again Christians, whose repentant hearts act as a receiver or “TV screen” that can reflect the Spirit of Christ in their words and behaviour.

Drawing4

EPHESIANS 3:17   That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;

Each heart represents a Christian who is Spirit-filled.

Christ intervenes personally in the life of each person.

Drawing4a

Jesus sits on the mercy seat to make intercession for us and projects His Spirit down to us so that the Spirit can intercede in us, on our behalf.

ROMANS 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Messiah the Prince had to be anointed

Daniel made a prophecy concerning Messiah the Prince, Who is Jesus.

ISAIAH 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace.

Again, this prophecy refers to Jesus as a Prince.

The Prince is the Son of the King.

God is the King of the universe. When Jesus was born He was obviously the young Prince as He grew up as a Man.

Then there was an important prophecy to fulfil.

DANIEL 9:25   Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the

Messiah the Prince

shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks.

Messiah is the Hebrew word for “anointed One”.

So the Prince had to be anointed.

This is what happened on the banks of the Jordan river when the Holy Ghost came down as a Dove and acted just like the anointed mantle of Elijah and rested on the shoulders of Jesus. Then His ministry really began.

Three and a half years later He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, on a Sunday, as the King of the Jews.

That was basically almost the end of His earthly ministry. He was crucified the following Thursday.

ZECHARIAH 9:9   Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Drawing2

Notice His humility when he entered as King. He was no longer the Prince.

But instead of crowning Him the Jews crucified Him.

Jesus had to spend 3 nights in the tomb before he rose on Sunday Morning.

That was Saturday night, Friday night, and Thursday night.

So He had to die on Thursday.

MATTHEW 12:40   For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

When Jesus was born angels gave this message to shepherds.

LUKE 2:11   For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

There are three key words : Saviour, Christ, Lord.

“Christ” means “Anointed One”. So from birth He was anointed, but this was not a public anointing as would happen after John baptized Him.

ISAIAH 45:15   Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

The supernatural Spirit of God was hiding in a little Baby.

HOSEA 13:4   Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me:

for there is no saviour beside me.

EPHESIANS 4:5   One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

PHILIPPIANS 2:11   And that every tongue should confess that

Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

There is only one Lord. And He is the only Saviour. No room for two people at this level.

II CORINTHIANS 3:17   Now the Lord is that Spirit:

So Jesus was born as Lord. And the Lord is the Spirit that anoints.

God is the only Saviour.   So if Jesus was born as “the Christ” and as the “Saviour”, then the Baby was God. The flesh and blood of the Baby Jesus was not God, because God is a Spirit.

God was the supernatural Spirit inside the Baby Jesus that Mary was looking after.

Drawing22

The red shape in the Baby represents the Spirit of God.

God was in the young two-year-old Child Jesus that the wise men worshipped. You only worship God.

Wise men would not worship someone who was not God. These men were wise because they were seeking for Christ.

Our wisdom does not come from university degrees, our wisdom comes from the extent to which we seek Christ.

Drawing26a

The red shape in the young Child represents the Spirit of God.

MATTHEW 2:11   And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Their gifts told Jesus Who they thought He was.

Gold represents God.

Frankincense added to a fire produced a sweet smell. Sacrifices, when burnt, produced a stench of burning meat. Frankincense was added to mask this stench by turning it into a sweet smell.

This made the sacrifice an acceptable sacrifice.

Myrrh was used to embalm the dead.

So the wise men were saying that Jesus was God in the flesh. He was coming on Earth in order to perform an acceptable service for all mankind. He was going to die for our sins.

Only 2 of the disciples of John followed Jesus.

John the Baptist set the example. He pointed two of his disciples towards Jesus and they followed Jesus.

JOHN 1:35   Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

:36     And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

37:   And the two disciples heard him speak,

and they followed Jesus.

The Lamb (human Man) follows the leading of the Dove (supernatural God).

We must follow the Lamb, because Jesus as a Man is the only way that the invisible God makes Himself visible to us.

I SAMUEL 15:22   Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,

JOHN 14:15   If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Adam’s body was made from a handful of dust. But he brought in sin which corrupted the entire Earth.

The Flood washed the Earth to clean it up. A dove brought an olive leaf (olive oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit) as the first news to Noah in his ark that the Earth, which had been washed clean of sin, had now emerged out of the water.

Then the natural dove flew away as mankind would once again pollute the cleanly washed Earth. The selfish heart of man is a chamber of horrors and evil.

2000 years later a spiritual Dove, the actual Holy Spirit, flew back down onto Jesus Who had just emerged out of the water. The Dove settled onto Him, it never went into Him. This Dove remained on Him and it never flew away.

His Body was the first handful of perfect Earth that would never know sin.

His Blood would properly cleanse sin from the repentant human heart. This was the first step towards producing a new Earth with born again believers finally being resurrected up in perfect bodies. So finally, thanks to this perfect Role Model and the example He set, all will someday be sinless and perfect.

And the secret of His success?

The human spirit of the Lamb was always obedient to the leading of the supernatural Dove.

Human and supernatural merge in a miraculous manner but the supernatural must be completely in charge.

The Human Son of Man does nothing unless the supernatural Father shows Him.

JOHN 5:19   Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

This is what Jesus was also like as He grew up. After all, there was no-one else who could teach

Him.

Jesus had the attributes of God while still a Boy

ISAIAH 11:2   And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Jesus had all of these attributes as He grew up.

Drawing3

LUKE 2:40   And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom

At the age of twelve, Jesus was speaking to the learned Jews in the Temple.

Drawing25

The red shape represents the Spirit of God in the young Boy Jesus.

LUKE 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

:47     And all that heard him were astonished at his

understanding and answers.

Einstein said that asking good questions is the key to knowledge. Jesus had both questions and answers to indicate His exquisite knowledge.

His answers indicated His ability to counsel them, because we go to be counselled when we are in need of answers to our difficulties. Just like a modern counsellor, first He listened then He asked probing questions which exposed their lack of knowledge. Then He supplied stunning answers to help them to understand. The experts were shocked at His understanding of the topics as well as his understanding of how to be a gifted counsellor who could help them to understand.

ISAIAH 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

“Might” means superior strength or power. The young Jesus proved here that He had a superior knowledge of the Word of God. A superior power to understand Scripture and uncover its deeper meanings. He also had the strength of character to stand alone. It was Him against a group of experts and they could not withstand the superior power of His arguments.

All these Jewish experts looked at Mary who came in to find Him. Knowing that they would not believe in His virgin birth, and being unable to face their fierce opposition to this fact, Mary (like all of us humans in the face of very hostile opposition) backed down and gave a wrong, compromised answer that Joseph was the father of Jesus.

Then the might and power of His dedication to truth enabled Him, as a young Boy of twelve, to stand up so bravely against them all, including Mary and Joseph, as He gently corrected her with a diplomacy that would be an example to a very professional counsellor.

LUKE 2:48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

:49     And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that

I must be about my Father's business?

His fear of God made Him correct Mary, when out of fear for the Jewish leaders, she denied His virgin birth. Jesus sought no human popularity.

Counsel and might were associated with this Child.

His Father was God and thus He was in God’s Temple.

If Joseph was His father then He would be in a carpenter’s shop.

Where did He get all this profound learning from?

JOHN 8:28   Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;

but as my Father hath taught me,

I speak these things.

The Jewish leaders and experts could not match His knowledge. They could not teach Him. So it could only be the supernatural God inside Him who was teaching His human mind as He grew up.

Jesus somehow in His Spirit, miraculously, combined both human (natural) and supernatural.

He knew that His limitations were His human or natural thinking (called the Son).

He realized that His strength was the guidance He got from His supernatural thinking and power (called the Father).

So He always strove to make His human mind (the Lamb) submissive to His supernatural advice and instruction (the Dove). This had to be done of His own Human free will.

Drawing5

God, when He is in control of a human being, will take that person along their predestinated path of God’s will.

But these persons,

of their own free will,

have to allow God to control their lives and thinking.

Drawing5a

When the Spirit descended to publically anoint Jesus, that just illustrated that the supernatural Spirit within Him had now taken full control of His Humanity.

Drawing5b

God’s Spirit can be manifest in many places at once.

Jesus sits on the mercy seat to make intercession for us, but He still projects His Spirit down onto the Earth so that believers can be Spirit-filled.

Seeing the Spirit in more than one place does not make it more than one Spirit.

Drawing5c

God became a Man to be a Kinsman Redeemer

RUTH 2:1   And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

RUTH 2:20   ……… And Naomi said unto her,

The man is near of kin unto us,

one of our next kinsmen.

RUTH 4:7   Now this was the manner in former time in Israel

concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe,

and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

To be a kinsman redeemer a man kicked off his shoe and gave it to another.

Jesus kicked off all His glory in Heaven and came down to Earth to suffer as a Man of sorrow.

Then He gave His Life to us.

He had to live out His entire Life as a human being so that He was fully identified as one of us.

By being born as a Baby, He was a Kinsman, not an alien.

He was a Man on the outside, but God on the inside.

Drawing1c

He laid down His life as the Holy Ghost left His Body.

He then gave the Holy Spirit to the members of His church during the 2000 years of church history. The feet of Daniel’s Gentile image represented the seven church ages. The solid iron legs represented pagan Rome which entered into the Roman Catholic church and corrupted the Bible teachings as the small bits of iron. The clay is the only part of this terrible image that can support life. This represents the true church that always sought to follow Scripture.

Drawing2

Plucking off the shoe reveals the foot as 7 church ages

Plucking off the shoe reveals the foot.

So Jesus walked barefoot through the seven golden candlesticks in Revelation Chapter 1 representing the persecutions of the true church during the seven church ages.

The feet of clay and iron represent the endless conflict between the true Bible-believing church and the denominational churches dominated by human leaders, throughout the 2000 years of the seven church ages.

Drawing3b

The toes represent the end times when ten dictators give their military power to the end time Pope.

REVELATION 17: 12   And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet: but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

They have power as kings. They are not crowned kings. But they are dictators who have the same power as a king. None of these states were in existence 2000 years ago. But they will briefly hold power with the antichrist Pope during great Tribulation.

REVELATION 17: 13   These have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

In the 3.5 years of great Tribulation, the final Pope will have religious and money power. But these ten dictators will unite to give him their military power as well. That will make him unbeatable. These dictators will be in different parts of the world and thus available to attack any part of the world with a minimum of delay.

The Second Coming of Jesus is to catch-away His people to glory and at the same time, He will act as a Rock striking the feet of the Gentile image. That Rock hits the world and church systems that have developed during the church ages and crumbles them in great Tribulation.

REVELATION 1:15   And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;

Christianity is not for sissies. True Christians face rejection and persecution.

PHILIPPIANS 2:12   Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,

work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

That is why John the Baptist could not undo the shoe latchets (or laces) of Jesus to reveal His feet. John could not suffer the persecutions of 2000 years that would befall the true church. Nor did John have a revelation of the unfolding of the church ages which would be represented by the revealed feet.

MARK 1:7   And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

It would take the end-time Elijah to the Gentile church, William Branham, who would be able to reveal the Seven Seals that acted as shoelaces that kept the history of the 7 church ages sealed up as a great mystery.

The mystery of God is that the last church must be restored back to the first church age beliefs that the apostles established.

Five times in Revelation Chapter 1 the Bible says, "First and Last", "Beginning and Ending", or "Alpha and Omega".

So Boaz redeemed Naomi (as a woman she represented the Jewish church) and then bought her daughter-in-law Ruth as his wife (representing the Gentile church, as Ruth was not a Jewess).

To be this Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus had to be a human being just like us.

So He had to be born as a Baby and grow up to manhood. God was with us by living inside this Person Jesus as He grew up.

The Old Testament God needed a physical Body to live in

God has always needed a visible Body to dwell in so that His invisible Spirit, outlined in red, could be revealed.

God finally hid Himself in a Baby that grew to be a young Boy. Then He would grow to be a Man of thirty.

Drawing4

The flame-shape in the Boy Jesus is the supernatural God.

Priests began ministering when they were 30 years old

The sons of Aaron formed the priesthood. Only when they reached the age of thirty could they begin to minister as priests.

NUMBERS 4:1   And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

:2     Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

:3     From thirty years old

and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host,

to do the work in the tabernacle

of the congregation.

So when Jesus got to about thirty, He was washed in water and anointed by the Spirit. Then He could begin His ministry.

LUKE 3:22   And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

:23     And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age.

The Holy Spirit formed the Dove. The Holy Spirit was in John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit was in the Holy of Holies in the Temple.

Drawing1b

John the Baptist received the Holy Spirit when he was in his mother’s womb.

LUKE 1:13   But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

LUKE 1:15   For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and

he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

Drawing18 Drawing19

The first red shape represents the Holy Ghost in the foetus John.

The second picture has a red shape to represent the Holy Ghost in John's mother Elizabeth.

When Mary had just conceived Jesus, she went to see Elizabeth.

LUKE 1:41   And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and

Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

Thus both Elizabeth and John were filled with the Holy Ghost at this stage.

The Holy Ghost had also come upon Mary.

LUKE 1: 35   And  the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee.

If you say that the Holy Ghost was not in the foetus of Jesus, Who had just been conceived, then Mary, Elizabeth, and John were all superior to Him because they all had the Holy Ghost. This is impossible. No human is superior to Jesus.

John received the Holy Ghost when he was six months in the womb. Jesus has to be superior to John. So right from His conception, He always had to be the Holy Ghost.

Elizabeth said :

LUKE 1:43   And whence is this to me, that

the mother of my Lord

should come to me.

The Jews only knew one Lord. That was Jehovah God. So God was always inside Jesus, even when He was a foetus.

Jesus never changed from Man to God.

He was always, from conception to death, a mysterious combination of human and supernatural. Just like natural light is a mysterious combination of waves and particles.

The conception of Jesus was when the Spirit of God created and wrapped Himself up in a fertilized human egg inside the womb of Mary. God created a Body for Himself not using anything from Mary.

HEBREWS 10: 5 ...but a body hast thou prepared me

Mary was just an incubator for the foetus Jesus.

HEBREWS 2:16   He took on Him the Seed of Abraham.

A seed is the male sperm cell. The Spirit of God, Eternal Life, was wrapped up in that first Cell.

For us, this seems impossible. But for God, nothing is impossible.

We do not even have the proper words to describe this event. This is what the angel said to Mary:

LUKE 1 :35   and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:  therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

So when Jesus was baptized, John was full of the Holy Ghost. And John cannot be superior to Jesus in any way. Thus Jesus had the Holy Ghost dwelling in Him. Jesus had the fulness of the Holy Ghost. John had a portion of the Holy Ghost.

Drawing1b

The Holy Ghost was in John and in the Dove. It was also in the Temple.

MALACHI 3:1   Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple,

“His temple” means God was still there when Jesus (the Lord) suddenly came to His temple and threw out the money changers.

Drawing28

LUKE 19:46   Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Jesus was quoting from Isaiah.

ISAIAH 56:7   ... for mine house

shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

This was God speaking.

Thus Jesus was making it clear that God was still in the Temple.

The red shape represents God who was in the Temple.

Only God is holy. So when God was in the Temple then it was the holy Place.

Drawing27

God lived between the two cherubims who were on top of the ark, out of sight behind the inner veil, in the Holy of Holies.

The red-outlined flame- shape represents God

Drawing8a

The torn robe and the torn veil as God left the Temple

When did God leave the Temple?

When He tore the Veil as Jesus died on the cross.

MATTHEW 27:50   Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

:51     And, behold,

the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom;

and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Drawing9a

So if God only left the Temple when Jesus died, then He was still in the Temple when the Dove came down on Jesus.

So the Holy Ghost was in John the Baptist. The Holy Ghost was in the Temple. The Holy Ghost was in the Dove. To claim that the Holy Ghost was not in Jesus makes Him inferior to these three. That cannot be true.

Drawing1c

If the Holy Ghost came down and entered Jesus, He would change. But He never changes.

HEBREWS 13:8   Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

So Jesus had the fulness of the Spirit before the Spirit came down to anoint Him publically as High Priest and King. He also had to be the anointed Prince (Messiah the Prince) to fulfil the prophecy of Daniel Chapter 9.

DANIEL 9:25   Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the

Messiah the Prince

shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:

“Messiah” is the Hebrew for “Christ” as it also means “Anointed One”.

A Dove is not a Person. The Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus because He was responsible for creating His human Body in the womb of Mary.

Jesus is the Lord and thus He is that Spirit.

PHILIPPIANS 2:11   And that every tongue should confess that

Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

There is only one Lord.

EPHESIANS 4: 5   One Lord,

II CORINTHIANS 3:17   Now the Lord is that Spirit:

So, there was only one Person, Jesus Christ, Who was seen on the river bank as He was publically anointed to begin His ministry.

The Holy Spirit deliberately descended as a Dove, not as a Person, so that no-one could say that they saw two Persons.

Emmanuel. God was with us as a Kinsman Redeemer. He had grown up from a Baby and because He was a Man similar to us He could set the example for us and begin to show us how a human life should be lived when fully submitted to the will of God.

His life was predestinated by the will of God but

of His own free human will

He chose to follow that predestinated path.

Did God end the Law by tearing up the Temple veil?

No.

Caiaphas the high priest ended the law by tearing his robe.

MATTHEW 26: 65   Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy.

Drawing30

Why did this end the Law?

EXODUS 28: 31   And thou shalt make

the robe of the ephod

all of blue.

:32    And there shall be a hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof:  it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a habergeon,

that it be not rent.

The high priest wore this blue robe as his top garment. It must never get torn.

When Caiaphas saw that his position of power as top religious leader and the wealth that went with it, was threatened by the arrival of the Messiah, he went mad with jealous rage and tore this specially reinforced garment.

So the high priest ended the law by tearing his robe.

God acknowledged this evil action by tearing up the Temple veil from the top, where man could not reach.

A habergeon is a piece of armour that a soldier wears in battle. It must be strongly made so that it is not easily torn.

Drawing31

This is what a habergeon looks like. It is body armour with a strongly reinforced hole that fits over the neck of a man. It would take the strength of insanity to rip it apart.

What powerful demons possessed Caiaphas to make him condemn Jesus at His First Coming?

Those same spirits criticize the 1769 Version of the King James Bible as having mistakes now that we approach the Second Coming.
