7^th angel restores the Word but cannot replace the Word

Brother Branham has to be Scriptural in what he says.

62-0627  WE  WOULD  SEE  JESUS

And now, in the Message that I have, I will try to make it just as simple as possible, because being the first time that you... Maybe people has been in the meetings. And it may seem a little strange to you at first. And if it does, I just ask you if you'll bear with me a little (See?), and always search out what I say. If it isn't exactly with the Scripture, don't believe it.

REVELATION 10:7   But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The mystery (singular) of God is when the end time church is able to be restored back to the beliefs of the first church age apostolic church.

That will only happen after brother Branham has revealed the end-time mysteries (plural) of God, the mysteries of Scripture.

And that's what's the matter today,

the sleeping virgin stayed long enough to get part of the Word but not all the Word. The deceived church stays long enough to get part of the Word but not all the Word, and they were sincere and honest about it. Eve was deceived! The Bible said, "She was deceived."

Message-people pick up a few basic ideas about the Bible from the quotes of brother Branham. Then they focus on interpreting certain carefully selected quotes without proving them from Scripture. Soon they refer very little to the Scripture as it is much easier to read brother Branham’s sermons. Studying the Bible is hard work. As a result, Message-people have become increasingly Bible-illiterate.

Brother Branham does make some mistakes

Brother Branham’s statements are only true if you can find them in Scripture.

As you can see from the following paragraph in the sermon on The Serpent’s Seed, brother Branham can get his facts muddled up on odd occasions.

58-0928  THE SERPENT'S SEED

… and they went on for several years (three hundred and twenty-five years) finally came to Nicaea, France,

[No. Nicaea was in Asia Minor, modern-day Turkey]

where they had the great Nicene Council. And in there they formed these dogmas that the Catholic church has now, and also that's handed down to the Protestants.

And as I said it in the teaching this morning, each one of those church ages on up to that Thessalonica church age,

[No. It was the Thyatira church age]

the fifteen hundred years of dark ages,

[No. The Dark Ages started when they added Trinity to the Bible in AD 325 and ended when Martin Luther began the Reformation in 1520. The Dark Ages lasted about 1200 years]

there was not one time but what He said, "You still have My name." And on this other side, they wasn't in Christ any more that come out in a denominational name: Catholic, Luther, Wesley, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, on down. But just before the closing of the age He said, "I've set before you an open door." See? And that's the age that we believe we are in right now, the open door age, between the last going out of the Laodicean church.

And it's exactly three hundred and twenty-five years to the Laodicean council.

[No. The Laodicean Council was in 363].

61-0806  THE SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL

Now, now, Jesus, Messiah, rode into the city of Jerusalem, triumph, on the back of a white mule on Palm Sunday, April the 2nd, A.D. 30. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, A.D. 30.

[It was not a white mule. Solomon rode a mule to his coronation. Jesus rode a donkey. Scripture does not mention the colour of the mule or the donkey].

… and 434 times 49 makes exactly 483 years. [No.  434 plus 49 = 483]

…  to the time of Christ being rejected in A.D. 33, by the Jews,

[Here he has Palm Sunday in AD 33 having earlier said it was AD 30]

These little memory mistakes are not important. No person is perfect, apart from Jesus. They are just a reminder that you must never call brother Branham infallible. You must check what he says.

…  that I am perfectly infallible. That there's nothing... And, oh, some of the awfullest things you ever heard.

Please understand. Brother Branham came to show us how to understand the written Bible so that we could be restored to the faith of the early apostles in the first church age. He did not come to make up new doctrines. He never told us that the seven Thunders have uttered.

A statement is not true because brother Branham said it. He did make mistakes and contradict himself at times. His quote is only true if it reflects in the Scriptures.

…  he had been in the Presence of God, and had heard the voice of God out of the Presence of God. Amen. Not only the voice was, but it was a Scriptural voice.

There is all kinds of voices. Check it with the Word.

In terms of belief, do we have an end-time function that is Scriptural or do we just conform to a stereotyped church role that is an echo of what some pastor says?

A crisis of ignorance. The greatest enemy of knowledge is not just ignorance, it is also the illusion of knowledge. People splicing selected quotes together in a way that is not established in Scripture.

What America needs is a Voice of the prophet of God, who could stand up and condemn Hollywood, and condemn these things in the Name of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost Church will take over. Too much confusion, see, too many voices of contrast against It.

The church, its voice, each one wants more members. The Baptist wants it all, Methodist wants it all, Presbyterian. We all have these. And Catholic's look like is going to take it all, and they will. That's exactly the Voice of God out of this Bible. They will rule.

But the Most High God shall finally rule. The Saints shall take over, one day, the Bible said so. They will take over.

Such an awful lot of voices! Then there's the voice of the false prophet. That's a terrible voice, a man who calls hisself a prophet. A prophet, of course, is a preacher. The modern word "prophet" absolutely means "a man that preaches under inspiration." There is a man who stands and calls hisself a prophet, and denies the Word of God, denies the Truth of God. There's so many voices!

So, if the church has the Voice of God, then you must hear the voice of the church, as our Roman Catholic people tell us. And when they, in themselves, are so confused and difference in their doctrine, the Roman, the Greek, and the different types, then there cannot be any place to have faith. Because, which one is the Church? Is the Roman church right, or is the Greek church right, or is some of the other churches right? Is the Lutherans right, Baptists right, Methodists right, Presbyterians right? Or, who is right, when there is so much difference in them? One is as far as the East from the West, from one another.

But, to my opinion, the Voice of God is the Judge. So, the Voice of God, and if It's so perfect, It's got to come from some perfect resource.

And if men bring it one way and another way, with their difference of denominations, then there's no way to set a faith surely in what they're saying. I hope that's clear. See? Because, and if one says it's this way, one says, "You must join this church. This church, only, has salvation." That's the Catholic version. The Lutheran come around and say they are the way. Here comes along the Methodist with something else, the Baptist with something else, the Pentecost with something else. And there seems to be such a gathering of confusion.

Then, when you take this written Word to our brethren, many of them says, "Well, them days isn't now." Another one says, "It's just a history." The other one says, "It's a book of poems." The other says, "The church has a right to change it." Then where do we stand? Where is there a resting place for faith?

When, God, being Eternal... I believe, if we are to be judged, and always have, that if we're to be judged by anything, it'll be by the Word of God that's given the commission.

Then, if we're to be judged by that Word, then God would be an unjust God, to put such a confusion on earth, and the poor human mind so baffled, it doesn't know what to do. And one will join this one, then join that one. A poor fellow trying to think, he's trying to find the right place, he'll listen to this denomination, then he'll listen to another denomination. And this one seems to be better than that one; he'll go. And, first thing, he's back to the first one again. He just doesn't know what to do.

But if God is going to judge the world by something, it'll be by His Word. I believe that.

The King James Bible is the Absolute truth

Brother Branham is not the Son of man

He can never take the place of Christ. That is a Catholic title that they give to the Pope. Vicarius Christi. “In the place of Christ”.

Brother Branham is not the Truth. He revealed the truth by explaining the Bible mysteries.

61-0611  REVELATION  CHAPTER  FIVE.1

And, because of that, it forces me to say I am leaving the ministry, is because that there is something arose up amongst the people that's caused me to do it, that is,

that I have been taken from my bracket of a "minister" or "brother" and being called Jesus Christ, and that would brand me as an antichrist.

And I'll meet God as a quitter before I would meet Him as an antichrist to take away from Him.

The Holy Spirit makes us Scriptural

JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself:

Always remember, keep three classes of people in your mind. They're always there, that's: believers, make-believers, and unbelievers. They're in every crowd. See?

Wherever you have believers, there are make believers and unbelievers too. That is the problem with every church.

Believers, unfortunately, attract make-believers and unbelievers.

Remember, there's always three groups of people in every bunch of people you gather, that's, make-believers, unbelievers, and believers. We have them in every group. They've had them in all time.

… and the Voice of God hushed by the greed and jealousy, it's been that way in the church ever since, trying to hush the true Voice of God.

A church group involves finance. If someone can claw their way to the top and claim, unscripturally, that the pastor is the head of the church, then it is a well-paid job.

“The tithes belong to the pastor”. That is an unscriptural statement.

The pastor gets paid to teach but is jealous of the fact that a Bible teacher can explain the written Scripture better than he can. So the pastor gets rid of the teacher.

No ministry is the head of the church.

Each ministry has a different role to play.

A pastor is a man who can exercise pastoral care to help people with their problems.

The New Testament says “pastors” (plural) in the only reference to this ministry. Thus a church does not have one pastor. Any elder who helps with pastoral care of the people is a pastor.

That is why each church is ruled by a group of elders.

I PETER 5:1   The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

:2     Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

:3     Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

No man is the lord or boss of the church. A group of elders, who are equal, rule the church.

But, you see, in the church there is the pastor, and that pastor is a special person. He's built to where he can--he can put up with the fusses of the people. He’s a burden-bearer, he's the ox of the team. He's a man that can sit down when the... somebody's got something against somebody else, and sit down with them two families (and take neither side) and reason it out and bring it right back into sweetness. See? He's a pastor, he knows how to take care of things.

The evangelist is a special man. He's a man that's burning like a fireball. He runs into a city and preaches his message, then gets out of there somewhere else. See, he's a special man.

The teacher is a special man. He sits back under the anointing of the Spirit and is able to take the Words and put them together by the Holy Spirit, that, the pastor or evangelist either one could not compare with him.

59-0628   A DECEIVED CHURCH BY THE WORLD

"Samson, the Philistines is on thee." Branham Tabernacle, worldlyism is creeping in among you.

… "Well, I guess that's all right. We enjoy listening to it once in a while, if we're not too tired." That's Branham Tabernacle. The Philistines is on thee.

Error creeps into every church as man-made rules slowly take over.

Then did you notice Moses, that great miracle performer that brought down Israel down through the land, and brought them up to the promised land, but did not place their inheritance to them? He did not give them their inheritance; he led them up to the land, but Joshua divided the land to the people. Is that right? And Christ brought the church up to the place to where their possession was made to them, was given to them, just the Jordan to cross, but the Holy Spirit is the One Who sets the church in order, the Joshua of today puts the church in its order, giving to each one, gifts, places, position. And He is the Voice of God speaking to the inner man that Christ has saved: the Holy Spirit.

Now, do you get that much of it? Now, we're getting over into the Book of Ephesians. Now, the same way, He's positionally placing the church where they belong. Now, Joshua placed them in the natural land. Now, the Holy Spirit is placing the church positionally, in the land that they--in the position that they belong in, their inheritance.

Thunder and entertainment cause harm.

59-0412   WHAT HEAREST THOU ELIJAH

Remember those things went first. The voice spoke last. It was the last thing.

We've had rushing winds, and thunder, and everything else. But the hour is coming now that the voice of God speaks. And He proves that's Him.

It was Him that sent the thunder. And they went after the thunder instead of listening for the voice.

He sent the wind, but they went after the wind instead of the voice.

Message-followers have developed over twenty different Thunders doctrines to really confuse the Message-groups.

Do not try to be better than others

59-0412   WHAT HEAREST THOU ELIJAH

You know what? It isn't the little rippling pool that makes a lot of noise that reflects the stars of heaven. It's the little pool that's deep, sound, quiet that reflects the stars. All these things are God's way of doing it.

… The world can mimic and out-entertain. The church is not an entertainment. It's not supposed to entertain. It's supposed to preach a new birth that makes a new creature in Christ. But the world is looking for entertainment, some social parties, or some fantastic of some sort.

Now, I want you to notice what taken place.

It isn't always the noisy things that's great things.

It's not the noisy things. A wagon can go out in the field; when it's unloaded it'll bump, and rattle, and make a lot of noise, can come right back over them same bumps loaded with good things, and won't even make a squeak. Why, it's loaded. What the church needs tonight is to be loaded, filled with the love of God.

The sun can draw a million gallons of water with less noise than we can pump a glass full out of a pump. That's right. The heavens can sprinkle dew all over the earth with less noise than you can sprinkle your front lawn. Certainly. Did you ever hear the planets turning?

Great things are quiet things.

Watch the Holy Spirit when It comes in tonight, how quiet It gets everything.

But we're after sensations, running after little things, failing to hear that voice.

59-0412   WHAT HEAREST THOU ELIJAH

I just wonder, that if we haven't listened too much to rushing mighty winds, and fire, and blood, and everything else, and have failed to hear that still small Voice. Wonder if we've looked so much to gifts that we can't see the Giver. You know, America is prone for noise. That's the reason rock-and-roll is so popular, and all these other lots of noises.

Now, we've had rushing mighty winds; we've had great shakings, but where has God been in all of it? Elijah said He was not in it. What did we do with rushing winds?

What have we done with all kinds of sensations? Where has it got us? Denominated so tight that we won't give fellowship one to the other.

What have we done by it? Is the church better off? Is it unified by rushing winds? No, sir.

It's only unified when them people will hear that still small Voice of God.

The Greek influence was strongly based on self-glorification and a strong desire to be competitive and better than everyone.

People focus on performance not truth

59-0301   WHAT DOES THOU HERE

You don't have to have princes, and so forth to stand up there like I don't know what. It ain't the clothes you wear or the eloquence you speak with.

It's the something that's inside of you, that voice of God. That's what it is.

Mediocrity knows nothing better than itself.

Putin, a typical dictator, feared people with drive and ability. They would be a threat to a dictator. He only promoted loyalists who agreed with him. They told him what he wanted to hear, not what he needed to hear.

That is the same mistake that the one-man-head-of-the-church makes. That structure is unscriptural.

You say, "Well, Brother Branham, I spoke in tongues. I shouted. I did this." If you still got that kind of a spirit and deny the Word of God, you haven't got the Word of God in you, you haven't got the Spirit. If you'll sit and hear the Truth preached, and look It up in the Bible and see It's the Truth, and then refuse to do it, that's not the Spirit of God. I don't care how much you spoke in tongues, how much you shouted, how much churches you belonged to, or how many times you was baptized, or anything else. The Word is Truth. That's what vindicates the truth. If you got all these other truths and then with the Word, amen, then you know you're coming home.

What are we reflecting, anyhow,

if we just got a lot of noise, and can shout and play, and jump up-and-down? Oh, I've seen Mohammedans do that. I've seen monkeys do that.

No remarks. I don't mean that, joking. This is no place for joke. This is the Word of God. See?

But I've seen animals jump, play, rabbits. That don't mean nothing. Certainly not. You're happy. Anything can make you happy, any little up-sight. I've seen sinners so drunk, and so happy! Certainly. That don't mean a thing.

But where is that happiness coming from? What's the resource? What does it react upon you? What does it reflect?

Someone will deny God's Word; someone will live in the world; someone will hear the Truth and walk away from It; sell their birthrights out, for something else?

Oh, God help us, brother, sister, help us to get back and let Christ reflect Himself, too, in us, like that. Oh, my! May God help us to be identified in Him, so much, that His Word and His Presence can flow through us, to manifest Himself to the world, amen, for which we're going to face.

Churches have become a trap of deception

The Pharisees had bumped into God as a man and found He was a threat to their position of power.

Social media has taught people to disrespect each other, especially if they disagree on an issue.

Churches cannot find anything new that is Scriptural but make the fatal mistake of disagreeing with the Scriptures that oppose their viewpoint.

When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent.

65-1127  TRYING TO DO GOD A SERVICE WITHOUT IT BEING GOD'S WILL

           Notice David's objective: he was bringing the ark to his own house.

That wasn't the capitol, that wasn't the place, it belonged in Jerusalem. But David was bringing it to his own house,

he wanted the revival to be on his own denomination.

"Oh, if you're Assembly, all right. If you're Oneness, all right. If you're Pentecostal, okay."

Everyone thinks that their church is best.

65-1128  GOD'S  ONLY  PROVIDED  PLACE  OF  WORSHIP

Out there in Tucson, is listening in this morning, I once wondered...

I've always constraining people, "Go to church, no matter where you go."

And I seen the people kind of pulling back, and going this way. And I thought, "What's the matter?"

I went to some of them,

"The first day you're there, they'll approach you, 'Join our church.' If you don't do it, you're not welcome." See? See? It's a forced thing, it's forced upon you, see, and that's Babylon.

But in Christ, you come in by election; not by force, your heart pulls you in.

God did not put His name then in Babylon. Closely now.

He cannot put His Name in Babylon, the churches.

Oh, they, they put His Name in there, but He never. No.

64-0629  THE  MIGHTY  GOD  UNVEILED  BEFORE  US

...that God is calling an exodus,

to come from behind the fleshly curtain who tries to impersonate, who tries to join church;

not Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, altogether, but Pentecostal churches.

It is an individual affair. It's you and God. You have to go in, not your group, not your church, not your pastor, but it's you who has to go in.

1965   CHURCH AGE BOOK  CHAPTER 9   THE CHURCH OF THE LAODICEANS.

“Be zealous and repent.” Now this false church has zeal; make no mistake about that. Her zeal has literally been that of the Jews, John 2:17, “The zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up.” But it is a wrong zeal. 

It is for the house of their own building. It is for their own creeds, dogmas, organizations,

their own righteousness.

They have put the Word out for their own ideas.

They deposed the Holy Ghost and made men into leaders.

They have put aside Eternal Life as a Person, and make it good works, or even church conformity rather than good works."

Jesus came to give, not to get.

We need to win the right race. And the right race is not focused on building bigger.

People are indifferent to the big issues. They are too involved in their own little issues. The cares of this life. When faced with the harsh truth of reality, people are horrified and easily retreat to a parallel reality built on delusions.

65-0220  GOD'S  CHOSEN  PLACE  OF  WORSHIP

They think you have to belong to that certain church or you cannot go to Heaven. That's wrong. To believe that, is antichrist. I'll say this: if you believe such a spirit, you're lost.

We find it hard to imagine what a new reality will look like, so we fear the future and cling to our present system. But the future we did not forsee will happen.

Putin is in a blind zone. As a dictator he gets fed the wrong intelligence, the things that he wants to hear. He is a victim of his centrally organized system that allows no opposition. The Pope is the only dictator in Europe. The Pope operates like Putin as he dismisses dissenters. The Pope tried hard to kill Martin Luther in 1520s.

Pastors who similarly rule their churches as a one-man-head have the same problem. They kill opponents by means of character assassination.

A fatal mistake of church-goers is that when they disagree with someone’s doctrine, they easily end up disliking the person and can say nothing good about him.

Good teachers are needed to spread the truth

Antioch was a prominent church in the first church age. They had five teachers, two of whom came from Africa. Niger is a big country in Africa. The Niger River is a huge river. Cyrene was a city in North Africa where Simon came from, the man who carried the cross.

ACTS 13:1   Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Interestingly, there is no mention of a pastor.

“Pastors” is only mentioned once in the New Testament, and never in the singular. Thus, one pastor was never the head of a church and consequently pastors did not have great pre-eminence in the New Testament.

55-0220  CONTEND FOR THE FAITH

If there ever was a place that's really has become a modern Babylon, it's America. I hope that it never touches the shores of Africa or any of those heathen countries.

I hope that real hard Gospel teachers get in there for those people.

52-0713   EARLY  SPIRITUAL  EXPERIENCES

Now, now my brothers, I'm not throwing off on preachers; you're godly men. You're doing a lot for this meetings and so forth, there's godly preachers, but if you ever want to get in trouble, just get muddled up with a bunch of preachers. That's right. That's the reason I keep clear of them. That's right. Now, that's right.

They said, "The Lord speaks to us, as well as He speaks to you."

I said, "Korah had that same thought, one day." That's right. I said, "I know..."

Korah and Dathan assumed the leadership of the Exodus and died with their followers in an earthquake.

Notice the poor opinion brother Branham had for a group of preachers because they know so little Scripture but are so full of their own opinions.

Now, if Jesus was here, tonight, in a visible form, then it would be wrong. For when Jesus comes, the Rapture takes place. "As the light cometh from the east even to the west, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of Man."

Never say that brother Branham is the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God.

Never say that brother Branham is the Voice of God. “Voice of God” is not mentioned in the New Testament.

The challenge is not to finish the book, but to fully understand what it’s all about. The content of one topic becomes the door that leads to another topic.

Let us go where the data of revealed Scripture leads and see how much Bible truth we can get to understand. But, more importantly, let us strive to eliminate any unscriptural mistakes that we are still clinging onto.
