The rejected bread scraps were most important
We update studies as the Lord Jesus leads us. You can find the latest update of this study at ChurchAges.net
We admire the thousands of loaves that Jesus created. Jesus emphasized the number of baskets of rejected scraps.

The Gentiles must build up the Tabernacle of David
We are fooled by the big and impressive show that the churches can produce. Jesus focused on the rejected few.
When Solomon built the Temple, the Tabernacle that David had used fell into a state of disuse. This Tabernacle had been the key to the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt.
The ministry of Jesus was designed to produce a far greater Exodus. The Exodus of the Gentile church out of the Jews. This Exodus needed a newer and better Tabernacle that was built using born-again Christians as its living stones. It would take 2000 years to build this living Tabernacle. Then, very sadly, the church stagnated at the end because no prophecy and no parable dealing with the end-time church says anything good about the end-time church. In the end, Jesus as the King James Bible, stands rejected outside the church door.
Thus, a third Exodus of individual believers has to move out of the church in order to complete the Bride of Jesus Christ. The Tabernacle that we build has to be associated with an Exodus. A moving out of where we had got used to being.
REVELATION 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven,
saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
“Another voice from heaven” is the inner conviction of the Holy Ghost.
This tells us to get out of the church systems. But we are too lazy to want to do that.
An Exodus has a starting point of what you have to leave and an ending point of where you are going to. That gives us direction. We have to move back to the way that the early church was in the first church age.
God started the church the way He wanted it.
Now God wants the church the way He started it.
A woman represents a church.
So, “out of her” means every individual has to get out of the comfort zone of his or her church. Every church.
The ten virgins (clean women) in Matthew 25 are all fast asleep. This represents saved Christians complacently asleep in their churches.
The parable of the ten virgins describes the saved Christians in the churches at the end time. They are saved from hell but not ready for the Coming of the Lord as they are too self-assured and fast asleep in their churches.
When the midnight cry, which will be a massive financial disaster, wakes them up then they are told to “Go out” of whatever church they are in. In today's materialistic world we only take something seriously if our money is threatened. Then we wake up fast.
MATTHEW 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
The only Jesus that we really know about is the Jesus of the New Testament church. We must get back to the beliefs of the New Testament church of the apostles.
The Gentile church began with an Exodus out of the Jews and it will end with an Exodus out of the organized church that has foolishly disagreed with the King James Bible in places.
ACTS 15:14 Simeon [Simon Peter] hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
:15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof,
and I will set it up:
:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
All the Gentiles for 2000 years of church history will be involved in building up this new Tabernacle.
An Exodus requires a mobile Tabernacle that can move
We all have to be prepared to move.
At the end we have to move out of our churches that have got stuck in the same rut for decades.
We had a warning in 2020 when the churches were closed down as they were inadequate to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to wait for the brave medical world to invent vaccines that blunted the damage of the coronavirus.
Then, when the vaccines reduced the danger of the virus, everyone went back to their churches.
The final wake-up call will have to be worse than the COVID-19 pandemic to get us out of the churches and keep us out of the churches.
Everyone will finally realize how unscriptural the churches have become and how much the church leaders have fooled them. But, unfortunately, it will take a really severe disaster to get the people to leave their self-satisfied church life.
HEBREWS 3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
Moses led the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt. This lasted 40 years. But Jesus led a far greater exodus of the Christians out of Judaism.
The house that Jesus is building is the Gentile church that has grown over the last 2000 years.
Jesus, as the Builder Who shapes and places each stone in its individual position, has far more honour than any of the church members who are living stones that help to build up this great spiritual building or house.
I PETER 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
When serving God costs us in some way, then our service is a sacrifice of praise if we do not complain.
HEBREWS 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
We must learn to praise God and serve Him in all circumstances.
ROMANS 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
If we complain it is because we do not love God. If we get too upset with events it is because our purpose in life is different to God’s purpose for our lives.
Waiting develops patience. Trusting God develops meekness.
HEBREWS 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
To build a house, a man shapes the stones and then places them in certain positions to achieve the function that he desires. The stones cannot argue with how he shaped them nor where he placed them.
Thus, God reserves the same right to shape us through trials and difficulties and place us where He wants so that God can use us to complete His great spiritual church house.
12 and 7 were key numbers in the Tabernacle
HEBREWS 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
Moses was faithful to God even though the Tabernacle that He built was just a symbol of God’s future Plan with the seven Gentile church ages (the 7-branched candlestick). After the church ages end, the 12 loaves of shewbread represent the 144000 Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel who are called out during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.
The Altar of sacrifice represents Repentance.
The Laver of water represents getting baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Place represents the Holy Ghost baptism that falls on the seven church ages (represented by the 7-branched candlestick) and then on the 144000 Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation (represented by the 12 loaves of shewbread on the table).
This fulfills Acts 2:38.
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Christ only lives in us if we are Scriptural
HEBREWS 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Under Moses, only the priests could serve in the Tabernacle. They were above the people as they formed the Aaronic priesthood between God and man.
But in the New Testament, the Aaronic priesthood between man and God was abolished. We are actually part of the great house that Jesus is building.
Thus, all saved Christians are priests and are all equal with each other. Only the High Priest Jesus is above us.
No Christian is above another Christian.
Leadership can only be exercised by a group of elders, who lead by example and not by the force of an exalted or elevated position.
I PETER 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
But as stones, we must be totally subject to what Jesus chips off us (a painful process) and completely submissive to where He wants to place us in His building. We have no right to any preferred position. We must rest on the foundation that was laid by the great masterbuilder Paul.
I CORINTHIANS 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Only when we do what is Scriptural do we serve God.
HEBREWS 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
We have to hear the voice of God, which is the revealed Bible, for our day.
You have to decide what the Voice of God is.
God has been calling His church for 2000 years.
So, the voice of God is not a man’s voice that was only heard in the last church age.
The Voice of God had to be present in the first church age, represented by the middle candlestick, in order to establish the original church. The church then began to fall away from these Scriptures.
REVELATION 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man,
God then used the Reformation of Martin Luther to start restoring the church to the truth. This was possible thanks to the invention of the printing press whereby books, especially the Bible, and pamphlets could be mass produced. People became literate in great numbers as they learned to read.
Luther began the Exodus of the true church out of the captivity of the Roman Catholic denominational church system.
This church age lasted from about 1520 to around 1750 when the Industrial Revolution was starting in Great Britain with the invention of the steam engine.
It was during this church age that the King James Bible was translated.
The King James Bible is the Voice of God
63-0630 THE THIRD EXODUS
for they can hear plainly the God's Voice, calling, through His Word
... Listen to the Bible, the Voice of God calling to you in this day.
England would have the biggest worldwide Empire in history, so God used English to spread the Gospel around the world. The King James Bible was translated and checked for 165 years before being finally published in 1769. This was just in time as it was used as the foundation of the great missionary age that began in the 1780s
The sixth church age of Philadelphia, lasting from 1750 to 1906. Tens of thousands of missionaries left Great Britain to spread the inspired truth of the King James Bible around the world.
The King James Bible has the absolute truth that people must base their faith on. God would not have launched the great missionary age if it was based on a faulty translation.
63-1110 HE THAT IS IN YOU
Believe all the Message. Believe That. If it isn't,
if it isn't written in the Bible, then don't you believe it.
You must not believe any quotes that are different to what is written in the Bible.
The quotes of brother Branham must be used to explain the Bible, not to replace verses that are in the Bible.
Look again at this diagram of the Old Testament Tabernacle.
In the Holy Place was a seven-branched candlestick representing the 7 church ages that had the light of the Gospel.
And a table with 12 loaves of shewbread representing the 144000 Jews in great Tribulation from the 12 tribes of Israel. This bread had to be eaten in the Holy Place. That is why the Jews have to be back in the Promised Land of Israel during great Tribulation.
God’s connection with mankind hinges on the New Testament church going through seven church ages in order to return back to the beliefs of the New Testament church of the apostles. Then the church is caught up to Heaven and the Gospel returns to the Jews, the twelve tribes of Israel.
Your head is connected to your body by your backbone
Jesus is the Head of the church and the Head of the Jews.
The neck connects to the head and has 7 vertebrae representing the 7 church ages.
Then comes the 12 vertebrae connected to the 12 ribs, representing the Jews of the 12 tribes of Israel.
Jesus was interested in the baskets of rejected scraps
12 and 7 were the number of baskets of rejected scraps of meat and bread that the disciples collected after the 5000 and 4000 Jews were fed.
Jesus expected the disciples to understand why 12 baskets and then 7 baskets of rejected scraps were collected.
MATTHEW 16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
:10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
Meat and bread are symbols of doctrine.
For the 5000, there were 5 loaves and 2 fish to begin with. Jesus multiplied this food. The Jews ate what they wanted but then threw the rest away. An awful case of littering. The rejected food symbolized the Gospel that Jesus was preaching to the Jews, but which the Jews were rejecting or throwing away by not believing in Jesus. They rejected 12 baskets of scraps. The disciples had to clean up this mess. We learn a lesson. God is endlessly having to clean up the mess that we make.
LUKE 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Unprofitable means we do more harm than we do good. But we are blind to our own mistakes and ignorance.
Bread represents doctrine. Leaven is the error of the Pharisees and the Jewish religious leaders who made the Jews reject the Gospel in Pilate’s Judgement Hall.
The disciples would collect this rejected Gospel and then write and spread the net wide as the New Testament to the seven church ages.
The 7 church ages were represented by 7 items of food that were given to Jesus. Five loaves and 2 fish.
Fish swim out of sight under water. The two fish represents the persecution of the church in the third and fourth church ages, called the Dark Ages when the Roman Catholic church used Trinity and the political violence of the red horse in Revelation 6 to blot out the truth of the Bible. The Bible got changed in the third church age at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325.
“Father and Son are of the same substance” was added to the Bible as an article of faith in defense of the Trinity doctrine that was imposed on the church by the Roman Emperor Constantine. The unscriptural “God the Son” and “God the Holy Ghost” were added in to explain the unscriptural “One God in three Persons”. A Roman Catholic mass where a wafer was eaten became the literal flesh of Jesus. It was only by regularly eating this wafer that you got saved, according to them.
The Bible never asked us to celebrate the birth of the Lord but around AD 350 Pope Julius I introduced the unscriptural Christ’s mass or Christmas on the pagan birthday of their sun god on 25 December. This date, 25 December, has nothing to do with the Bible but it has become the biggest festival of the year in the church. So, somebody has been fooled, but people are too blind to notice.
By AD 450 Pope Leo I said it was permissible for the Roman Catholic church to persecute and kill dissenters. The macabre dance of death had begun as Roman Catholic religious deception got thoroughly married into political power and worldliness. Those who disagreed and wished to remain Scriptural had to hide themselves out of sight.
Bishops, unscripturally, had become the head of the church in the cities. These Bishops were placed under unscriptural Archbishops who were under the unscriptural Pope. The whole church structure was unscriptural as it slid into the depths of the Dark Ages in the fourth church age.
All this church error was defended by force, torture, rape, confiscations, and killing that massacred tens of millions of dissenters.
People had to go underground and many fled to a rough life in the wilderness areas like the Alps.
The Bible was banned and reading the Bible earned a death sentence if you were discovered.
The third and fourth church ages were a time of spiritual darkness where Bible knowledge withered and died and was replaced by church superstitions. To stay alive, like a fish, you had to stay out of sight.
The other five church ages had the truth that was available to their age, so they were represented by five loaves of bread that Jesus brake and gave to the disciples. Only the Spirit of Christ can break the bread of life, the Word of God, in a way that we can understand and digest it.
Four of the disciples (together with 4 disciples who came in later) wrote the New Testament which embraced the beliefs that the Jews had rejected.
There is not a single end-time prophecy or end-time parable that says anything good about the end-time church.
Thus, when the Gentiles in their turn reject the revealed written Word of God at the end of the 7th church age, these rejected truths will go to the 12 tribes of Israel in the time of great Tribulation. That is the meaning that lies behind the 12 baskets of rejected scraps. There will be 12000 Jews from each of the 12 tribes who will finally receive the rejected Christ at the end of great Tribulation.
The Gospel scraps were originally rejected by the Jews. The church accepted these rejected scraps as the New Testament, and then lost the truth in the Dark Ages but saw the truth restored during the last three church ages. But then, sadly, at the end the church rejected the full restoration of the Bible mysteries by either rejecting brother Branham’s teachings or else corrupting them into unscriptural beliefs, like calling him the infallible Voice of God. The New Testament never mentions the Voice of God. Then message preachers who claim to follow brother Branham tried to interpret what is not written: the 7 Thunders, the 7th Seal, and the new name of Jesus. This merely knocked them further off-course. By preaching what is not written in the Bible they merely join the camp of the Pope who also preaches what is not written in the Bible. To be on-course, they should be trying to get back to the beliefs of the early church who never put a pastor in charge of a church as its head.
EPHESIAN CHURCH AGE - CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT.3
Since you now understand how we judge what the True Church was like (what she was at Pentecost and what she was in the apostolic age as set forth in the Word in the Book of Acts) we can apply the same rule to show us how the church failed. The basic error, or errors, that crept into the first church and were revealed in the Book of Acts and Revelation and also in the Epistles will become more and more visibly manifested in each subsequent age,
until we come to a complete blackout of truth in the last, or Laodicean Age.
Now out of this first key that we have received of the Lord, there comes another and slightly less wonderful truth. I said that the True Church would always try to be like it was in the Book of Acts. That is exactly right. But we have discovered that the Word also teaches
an invasion of error until there is a complete blackout of truth in the last day when the Lord is about to appear.
Matthew describes Christ as King. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He is the King of both Gentiles and Jews. Matthew puts an emphasis on the Gentile church during the 7 church ages but also refers to the Jews who come in during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation after the church is caught up to Heaven.
During the church ages, the Jews are covered by the Fifth Seal, despite their rejection of Messiah at Calvary. If they are killed for their faith during the church ages, because the nations hate the Jews, then they are given white robes of martyrdom. The Jews basically have to die for their faith in order to make Heaven.
REVELATION 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Christians hold the testimony of Jesus. They mention how Jesus helped them. The Jews hold the testimony of their own good works.
REVELATION 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Their fellowservants are the 144000 Jews who die in great Tribulation.
The Jews are God’s servants. The church is His Bride.
The Fifth Seal tells us that the Jews who died for their faith during the seven church ages have been given white robes by God. That is God's grace to the Jews who were blinded so that God could turn to the Gentiles.
For the Jews, the two fish that symbolize persecution and oppression, occurred in the first and the last church ages.
In AD 70 over 1 million Jews were killed by the pagan Romans as they destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem. In AD 132 – 136 about 580,000 Jews were killed by the pagan Romans in the Bar Kochba revolt. The survivors were exiled and scattered throughout the Roman Empire. The Jews went out of history with these savage slaughters in the first church age that ended around AD 170.
Then in the last or seventh church age, there was the, even more, horrific Holocaust where 6 million Jews were killed by Hitler in the Second World War. The Jews were returning back to the world stage with this savage slaughter.
When God rejects the church that is busy rejecting the revealed mysteries of the King James Bible and catches up His small remnant to Heaven, then the revealed truth of Scripture will turn to the Jews in their Promised Land.
Twelve thousand from each of the twelve tribes will come in. Symbolized by the twelve baskets of rejected scraps.
7 baskets of scraps and 7 loaves reveal 7 church ages
The Book of Mark focuses on Christ the great Servant of the Gentile church. He carried our sins down to Hell to dump them on the Devil. He carries our daily burdens and problems. Christ’s Spirit gives us the desire to carry the burden of His Word, not the man-made doctrines of some church that would make us popular.
Feeding the 4000 sees the Lord use seven loaves to represent the seven church ages.
In Mark, the emphasis is on how the church serves Jesus during the seven church ages.
Each church age had enough Scripture to see its saints through to fulfill their place in the body of Christ, which is that invisible Tabernacle that has been built for 2000 years. The Jews rejected the unwanted scraps of bread. That signified their rejection of what Jesus preached. But the disciples picked up those rejected scraps that would symbolize the New Testament. And when the Jews went out of God’s Will at Calvary by rejecting Messiah and what He preached, then the Gentile church accepted the New Testament Gospel that the Jews had rejected. Those 7 baskets of rejected scraps that became the New Testament carried the church through the seven church ages which began when God rejected the Jews.
12 and 7 are certainly key numbers.
The Jews will come back in at the end
DANIEL 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be
for a time, times, and an half;
and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
This verse has a double fulfillment.
A Bible year is 360 days.
REVELATION 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
:3 I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
A score is twenty.
42 months are 1260 days. Then 1 month is 30 days. So, 1 Bible year = 12 x 30 = 360 days.
Laban spoke to Jacob.
GENESIS 29:27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.
A day can represent a year in prophecy.
DANIEL 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
From the commandment to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem to the baptism of Messiah the Prince when the Holy Ghost said, “This is my beloved Son” was “a time” of prophetic guidance (49 Bible years), followed by the “times” of the Jews striving to govern themselves until they were finally conquered by Rome (62 x 7 = 434 Bible years) and then the arrival of the forerunner, the prophet John the Baptist. Then the final week began at the end of AD 29 but was cut off at the half-way mark after 3½ years at Calvary.
Whoever places the seed of life in a woman's womb is the father of that child.
MATTHEW 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:
for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Thus, the Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus.
It was the Holy Ghost Who spoke and called Jesus "Son" at the water baptism.
MATTHEW 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Daniel spoke of a time, times, and an half (of a time).
This has a compound meaning.
It can be a year, two years, and half a year. Then it means 3.5 years.
Or it can mean the time of prophetic guidance that would last for 49 years.
Then the times of the Jews subject to human leadership that lasted more than 400 years.
Then an half of the seven years that formed the last week.
DANIEL 12:7 … and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half;
“And an half”. This was the 3½ years of the ministry of Christ.
Then the Jews were cut off from God and scattered.
After Christ was cut off at Calvary, there came the two thousand years of the seven church ages.
In the future lies the last half week, which is the 3½ years of great Tribulation.
So, this Scripture also describes great Tribulation. This gives the Scripture a double meaning.
A time (one year), times (two years), and an half (half a year).
This is 3½ years.
Then the 144000 Jews who accept Jesus during great Tribulation, as well as their two prophets, will be killed at the end of the 3½ years of great Tribulation.
That scatters the power of the holy people of Israel.
Then Jesus steps in for Armageddon.
REVELATION 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Two great prophets, Moses and Elijah, protect Israel during the 3½ years of great Tribulation from the onslaught of the final man of sin who hijacks the position of Pope. This gives him worldwide spiritual power as the head of 1.4 billion Catholics.
Plus having the incredibly vast wealth of the Vatican.
Ten dictators will give him their military power.
REVELATION 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
“Their power and strength” is their military power and strength.
The beast has been the succession of Popes who have been the figureheads of the Catholic church. The beast spirit, when a Pope dies, jumps to the next Pope. The man dies but the spirit does not die.
The final Pope will isolate Israel from all the nations, leaving them in a wilderness of being unwanted, where everyone hates the Jews and nobody wants to know the Jews.
So, this “time, times, and a half” also refers to the 3½ years of great Tribulation when we apply this prophecy to the Jews.
The meaning of a dividing of time
But now we come to a very subtle difference.
This next prophecy looks the same but is very different. This prophecy does not refer to 3½ years.
DANIEL 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
This verse refers to the enemy of truth, the Roman Catholic church, attacking the true church who are the saints of God. This has got nothing to do with the Jews in great Tribulation.
The key word that makes a huge difference is “until” the time, times, and …”
Not “an half time” of the 3½ years but a “dividing” of time.
“Until” is a new word that is easily misunderstood.
What does this mean?
“Until” does not indicate an exact length of time, but it points out when the time period ends.
The “dividing of time” refers to the 7 church ages.
The enemy wears out truth until the dividing of time is over. Until the 7 church ages are over.
By then the Protestants and the message-people who follow William Branham have given up opposing the Catholics and have accepted or imitated many Catholic ideas.
Man-made church traditions and commandments will always oppose Scriptural truth until the 7th church age ends.
The seven church ages are the dividing of time between the two half-weeks.
The 7 church ages push apart the two half-weeks of Daniel’s prophecy.
The 3½ years of the ministry of Jesus (first half-week) to the Jews ends time for the Jews as God turns to the Gentiles after Calvary. God stopped dealing with the Jews when they crucified Messiah. God stopped using their Hebrew language and started using the Greek language. God stopped counting time for the Jews at Calvary. Time-wise, the Jews have been in limbo since Calvary as far as God is concerned.
Then the church ages end as Jesus catches up His wise church to Heaven. God then stops dealing with the foolish saved Christians who get thrown into great Tribulation where they will be killed in a horrific manner by the beast who is the final Pope or man of sin.
At that stage God turns back to the Jews and begins the countdown of their final 3.5 years.
So, only then do the Jews get their second half of Daniel’s 70th week in great Tribulation.
In between these two half-week periods come the 7 church ages.
The 7 church ages divide this last time of 7 years (the 70th week) into two equal blocks of time.
Thus the 7 church ages are “the dividing of time”.
This is the timeline that God used for the Jews, so He uses the same timeline for the church.
