The Father is supernatural and the Son is a human Man

ROMANS 5:10    For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

II CORINTHIANS 5:19    To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,

We were reconciled to God at Calvary. At that time God was in Christ.

But not speaking to Him.

JOHN 16:32   Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

 

The Father is the supernatural, Christ is the human.

Not two Persons. Not two Spirits. Just two manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

So the supernatural did not help the natural man Jesus Who had to die as a sinner on our behalf by taking on our sins.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

HEBREWS 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

All of God was in Jesus and Jesus never changes. Thus, all of God was always in Jesus, even when he was on the cross.

But if somebody sits in the same room as you and totally ignores you, then in reality you are on your own.

One gets that awful unwanted feeling.
ISAIAH 59:2  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

God hid His face and refused to talk to the Man Jesus because of all our sins that were on Him.

But God was still in Him physically

The red is the supernatural Father. The yellow is the human nature of Christ.

The yellow human nature and the physical body form the flesh, which is the Son.

The flesh, the human nature and His body, had to suffer for the sins of our human flesh.

LUKE 23:46   And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands

I commend my spirit:

and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

  

JOHN 5:19  Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do:

The Man Jesus did nothing until the supernatural Father showed Him what to do.

God is not the Father of sinners

Suddenly, when on the cross, the supernatural Father "hid his face" and stopped communicating with Jesus which left him purely as a Man with no supernatural help to face the onslaughts of all the demons in hell on his own.

Even the sun stopped shining for three hours.

That was a supernatural event because the longest possible eclipse of the sun can only last for seven-and-a-half minutes. The sun was still in its usual place but was no longer shedding light on the earth.

This symbolized the Father still being in Christ but not communicating with Him.

MATTHEW 27:45   Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

This was Jewish time. They began timing from daylight when the sun came up. That would be 6 o'clock in the morning.

(The Romans started their day at midnight).

So six hours later would be midday or 12 o'clock.

The ninth hour would then be 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

This dark sun symbolized the supernatural God still being in Christ but not having any communion with Him.

No natural light shone out when the Light of the world was dying.

That is what hit Christ hardest.

No communion with His indwelling Father.

That is why Jesus chose the Communion meal of unleavened bread and wine to remember His Death.

Losing communion with His supernatural Father was the hardest part for Him.

Thus communion between God and us is our biggest blessing and privilege.

MATTHEW 27:46   And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?

that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

What does this cry of anguish tell us?

This is the only time when Jesus does not speak of God as His Father.

He became a sinner by taking on our sins.

God cannot be the Father of sinners and unbelievers.

JOHN 8:44   Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.

God can only be the Father of repentant human beings.

So God stopped being His Father until He had atoned for our sins and got rid of them by washing them in His Blood.

But God is always God, of both the sinners and the saints.

When Christ was on the cross, the supernatural Father withdrew into Himself and refused to communicate.

But physically, God was always in Christ.

 Jehovah the LORD was on the cross

His human nature developed growing from Child to Adult

ISAIAH 11:1   And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

“Grow”. This is referring to Jesus as He grew from a Child to an Adult of about 30 when He began His ministry.

First His human nature had to grow and develop, in a similar way that we also have to grow up from being babies to being adults.

ISAIAH 11:2   And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

All these virtues were already in Him and developing as he grew up.

Wisdom. Understanding. Knowledge. The fear of the Lord. Counsel and might.

“The Spirit of the Lord”.

LUKE 2:40   And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom:

The human nature in Jesus was growing strong as His humanity developed.

But the Spirit of the Lord, the supernatural, rested on His humanity as God was always in Him, teaching Him and guiding Him.

God was in Him, training His humanity to be in obedience to the supernatural Spirit of God.

A person can be a son of his father as well as being a father to his son. That does not mean that he has two spirits. He has two different manifestations of his human spirit.

We simply do not have the correct vocabulary to describe a spirit.

The red circle represents the supernatural Spirit of God.

The yellow shape represents the human nature of God that was growing in Christ. God could not develop His human nature until He had a human Person that He could fully dwell in and control.

Christ never changes.

HEBREWS 13:8   Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Human attributes were always in God because God chose us when we were somehow in Him before the foundation of the world.

EPHESIANS 1:4   According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

If the Holy Spirit ever came into Jesus after he had been born, then he would change by becoming God.

Jesus was born as a human on the outside but was God on the inside.

LUKE 2:11   For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Christ means Anointed One. So Jesus was the Anointed One at His birth because God's Spirit was in Him.

LUKE 2:46   And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Wisdom is to listen more than what we speak.

Einstein said that it takes more intelligence to ask a good question than what it takes to answer a question.

Jesus, as a Boy, did both. He listened and then asked very insightful questions.

That showed profound wisdom.

A 12-year old boy was questioning the wisest Jews in Israel.

Einstein was about 25 years old when he shook the world with his relativity theory. At 12 he was still a schoolboy.

LUKE 2:47   And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

“Answers”. You cannot answer questions unless you have knowledge of the subject.

In order to answer their questions, Jesus had to know what He was talking about.

“Fear of the Lord”.

This is a difficult one. We are dead scared to disagree with our church leaders.

LUKE 2:48     And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

In the formidable presence of all those Temple priests and scholars, Mary was too scared to mention His virgin birth. So she called Joseph His father.

She was so scared that she told a lie.

In the presence of dominating people many of us have kept quiet about the truth at times. It is never easy to speak when clever and strong or forceful personalities will oppose us.

LUKE 2:49   And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?

Jesus had such a strong fear of the Lord that stopped Him from fearing all the great men of Israel.

Thus, Jesus immediately corrected her.

If God was His Father,  then He would be in the Temple going about God’s business.

If Joseph was His father, then Jesus would be at home doing carpentry.

LUKE 2:50   And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

Mary did not really grasp the great depth of the answer that she got from Jesus.

ISAIAH 11:3   And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Jesus gave a very quick answer to Mary.

He immediately knew she was wrong and quickly understood that her mistake had to be corrected.

Jesus did not judge the issue according to what He saw.

These great leaders of Israel who were standing around with their fierce and angry expressions would be very much opposed to His virgin birth and they would not want to hear His answer.

His answer would make all these great men start to oppose Him.

But His fear of the Lord made Him put God’s Will first, however many friends he lost. However many opponents would rise up against Him.

He could see that these Jewish leaders would be threatened by a Messiah. So He made sure that they heard an answer that they did not want to hear.

Jesus was a preacher of truth even as a young boy.

A preacher of truth makes the comfortable uncomfortable, whatever the cost to himself.

Fear of the Lord is to always put God’s Word and Will ahead of our own personal self-will.

ISAIAH 11:3 and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,

Three quick examples where what was happening in the spiritual was not what seemed to be happening to the natural eye.

The Holocaust saw 6 million Jews killed in the Second World War from 1939 - 1945. Many Jews felt that God had abandoned them. But it took that horror to briefly make the nations sorry for the Jews and in 1947 the United Nations granted them the right to fight for a homeland in Palestine. Now the Jews are back as a powerful and advanced nation.

The Jews never understood the 5th Seal whereby Jews who were killed for being Jews are pardoned and given white robes in heaven. So, the Jews scored in two ways. Six million went to Heaven and the survivors got the homeland of Israel back for the first time in 2000 years. The Holocaust was not the disaster that it appears to look like to us.

REVELATION 6:9   And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Jews. They died for the testimony that they held. Christians die for the testimony of what Jesus has done for them.

REVELATION 6:10   And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

The Bride has been caught up to Heaven. Why can Jesus not go back to flatten the final Pope at Armageddon?

REVELATION 6:11   And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

These are the 144000 who accept Jesus in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation and are then killed.

In 2016 a confident Hilary Clinton opposed Donald Trump who had a disgraceful track record. Every poll said that Hilary would win. But Trump won against all odds.

Nothing had happened the way people thought. Why?

Trump was the only politician with enough courage to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Trump did not win the election to do something for America. God is getting ready to return to the Jews.

So God upset the American election to fulfill the prophecy of the Jews being back in the nation-state of Israel with Jerusalem as capital, just the way it was 2000 years ago.

COVID-19 pestilence is followed by earthquakes

Many churches tried to pray COVID-19 out of their countries but the coronavirus pandemic ended closing down the churches instead. They never realized that Jesus had promised a pandemic as a pestilence.

This was the second-to-last warning sign that Jesus gave in Matthew 24.

You cannot pray against a prophesied event. You can pray for your individual safety in the midst of the pestilence.
MATTHEW 24:7   For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

In the last 110 years, we have seen two world wars. Then wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.

In the last 100 years, about 70 million people have died from famines. Most of these were man-made because the Communist leaders stole the food to buy industrial equipment and weapons.

Pestilences saw the Spanish Flu of 1918-1919 that killed almost 100 million people.

2020-2021 saw the major disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its variants. A tough and anxious time.

But there is still something scarier on the horizon. Massive earthquakes.

When the dead rise there will be an earthquake.

MATTHEW 27:51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and

the earth did quake,

and the rocks rent;

:52   And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

When the Sixth Seal opens to begin the 3.5 years of great Tribulation then there will be a massive earthquake.

REVELATION 6:12   And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake;

and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

There has to be a wake-up call for the sleeping virgins, both wise and foolish virgins. Will that be a massive earthquake?

MATTHEW 25:5   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

All saved Christians are fast asleep in their churches as the pastors lull them to sleep by reassuring them that they are safe as long as they belong to his or her church.

MATTHEW 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

A colossal shock. "Go ye out".

Whatever church you are in, you will have to get out. Why?

Christ is outside the door of the Laodicean church. You cannot meet Him while you stay in your church.

Will it take a massive earthquake to wake us up and chase us out of our churches?

A massive earthquake along the San Andreas fault line will sink Los Angeles into the sea.

This "Big One" has been predicted for a long time by scientists. The massive tidal wave that will be generated will amplify the damage. That will cripple California which is America's richest state. That in turn will cripple America.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has forced President Biden to borrow so much money to rescue the American economy, that America will be too deep in debt to face this colossal disaster.

America's downfall could easily happen.

The devastation will be widespread because America has the world's biggest economy and many countries depend on America who gave away $300 Billion in foreign aid in 6 years from 2013 - 2018.

Few things will wake up the church world more effectively than a massive financial crisis.

The church of the Laodiceans brags about being rich. Financial loss will be their biggest horror story.

The young Jesus could manifest the God Who was in Him

ISAIAH 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

“Counsel and might” are associated with the Child while He was still a Boy.

ISAIAH 11:2   And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Counsel and might are two attributes of God's Spirit and these were associated with Jesus as He grew up.

LUKE 2:52   And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

As Jesus continued to grow up physically, so His human wisdom increased as His human nature developed.

In Jesus were both the natural and the supernatural.

Before He was 30, the emphasis was on His growing natural humanity.

Then at the water baptism came His anointing where the supernatural took control of His humanity.

The Holy Spirit never went into Him as it rested on Him.

That was the outward evidence of His inner anointing.

An anointing is when the supernatural Spirit of God takes control of our human spirit.

JOHN 1:32    And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

:33   And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

MATTHEW 3:16   And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

:17   And lo a voice from heaven, saying,

This is my beloved Son,

in whom I am well pleased.

The man who places the seed of life in the womb of a woman is the father of that child.

Thus, the Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus because the Holy Ghost impregnated Mary.

MATTHEW 1:20   But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:

for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

The Son of God, the Lamb, is led by the Spirit of God, the Dove.

MATTHEW 4:1   Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

We must follow this example.

ROMANS 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

You are only a son of God if the Holy Spirit can guide you into the revealed Word of our day so that we can return to what the first church age believed.
