A parrot can repeat a quote, but it has no understanding of what it is saying. The quotes must be placed in the Bible.

We're not to come together to talk about the Message. We are come together to get in the Message.

And the Message is Christ, He is the Word.

If brother Branham says something different to Scripture then you must not believe him.

Consequently, you cannot just believe a quote. You must check that the quote agrees with the Bible.

A revelation is basically an idea that you get from brother Branham's quotes.

But, since there are over 100 different types of Message churches, many people have obviously got the wrong ideas by misinterpreting his quotes or else they built on a quote that he got wrong. For example, brother Branham thought that the 1963 cloud was over Sunset Peak and that he stood underneath the cloud on 8 March. The cloud was 200 miles north over Flagstaff and it was seen on 28 February before the hunting season even opened. So brother Branham got those facts wrong. Please check before you repeat a quote like a parrot without any understanding.

The Bible never mentions parrots.

End time Message believers have degraded their faith sufficiently to now regard parroting a quote as being the absolute truth.

On the Mount of Transfiguration, the disciples saw Jesus, Moses, and Elijah. But when the disciples heard God’s voice, then the prophets Elijah and Moses faded away in comparison to Jesus, the Word of God.

MATTHEW 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

MATTHEW 17:8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

So Elijah’s quotes must point to the Word, and then we hang onto the Word alone.

John the Baptist revealed Jesus as a Man.

Only two disciples of John listened to him and understood what he was saying. As a result, they followed Jesus.

One of these two was Andrew. He was the only disciple of John the Baptist who became one of the original 12 disciples of Jesus.

When Paul later met disciples of John the Baptist in Ephesus he found that they were very ignorant about the Truth.

Two disciples of John the Baptist actually insulted Jesus by asking Him if He was the Messiah.

You will thus be easily fooled if you put your confidence in the disciples of William Branham.

He came to reveal Jesus as the Word of God and thus you must follow your beliefs through the Word of God.

Only then are you following Jesus.
JOHN 1:35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

:37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

64-0719 GOING BEYOND THE CAMP

It was something, as I said this morning. Like, the people are like Peter said, in Saint Matthew 17:4 to 8, where he said, "It's good to be here. Let's build three tabernacles."

But the Spirit bade them not to do it. Said, "This is My beloved Son; hear ye Him," and He is the Word. That's Who we're to look to, the Word, not our enthusiasm or something else. "He is My Word; hear ye Him!"

And what did they see after this Voice spoke to them? Even Moses and Elijah wasn't present;

neither was there a creed;

neither was there anything left but Jesus only,

and He is the Word. That's all they seen.

A man can reveal the Word of God, but his quotes cannot replace the Word of God.

The revelations of brother Branham have to reflect through the Scriptures in order to be regarded as truth.

When his revelations can be proven by linking Scriptures together, then the quotes are no longer required as the ideas can be established just by just referring to the Bible.

For instance, we needed brother Branham to tell us about the seed of the serpent. But once we have tracked this revelation through the Bible, then we can prove it purely from Scripture without having to refer to any quotes.

Don't you see the Message of the hour? Can you recognize where we are?

The Message itself, from the Scripture, interprets to you the hour we're living in.

It's the interpretation.

So we'll know, to prove this, back and forth, by the Word;

not by some man's idea, some theory.

I don't care who he is; any other man,

myself or anybody else, "If he speaks not according to the law and the prophets, there is no Light in him."

See? That's what the Bible said. "Let every man's word be a lie, and Mine be true," regardless who it is.

Everyone’s statements, including brother Branham’s, must be checked with Scripture.

Remember in my vision? I said, "If Paul's people goes in, so will mine, because I done just exactly like he did." I'm staying right with It.

Them millions throwed their hands, saying, "We are resting on that!"

Brother Branham’s message was only reliable because he preached what Paul preached. Thus he restored us back to the teachings of the early New Testament church.

You would be daresn't to, try to add to That or take from It. For,

if you do try to put the interpretation on It, yourself, your part is taken from the Book of Life.

Are you trying to say something that the Spirit hasn't said? Are you trying to make It sound like It said something? Or, you just take It exactly what It said, and leaving It like that? Are you splicing, cutting, taping, doing things that's not right? Have you?

Message preachers now pretend to understand the unwritten Word, as if they know what the seven thunders are and what the new name of Jesus is. That is dangerous territory.

63-0324 THE SEVENTH SEAL

One of the mystery of that Seal, the reason it wasn't revealed, it was seven thunders that uttered their voices, and there it is perfectly, because nothing knows anything about it; wasn't even written.

They splice different quotes together instead of linking different Scriptures together.

Human opinions are worthless.

A parrot can repeat a quote brother Branham made. But parrots have no understanding.

The Bible never mentions parrots, so we have no guarantee that they will be in Heaven.

Certain quotes of brother Branham are wrong

We need to understand what brother Branham was talking about. Repeating a quote does not necessarily make us right.

Look at the following examples :

But Cain, in his stupid ways, not so stupid, but in his cunning ways, deceived, and brought in fruit. Adam kept the... Abel kept the Word of God, he brought in a lamb. God said, "That's right, Adam, you've kept... Or, Abel, you've kept My Word."

"Cain, you knowed it wasn't... Where did I take some fig leaves like your daddy tried to do?

You got a bunch of figs or grapes or apples or whatever you got here.

And now your daddy took the leaves off the tree, to try to make an atonement, and here you try to bring the fruit off the tree."

It wasn't that! It was blood from life.

This quote makes Adam the father of Cain. Just proof that there can be mistakes in some of the quotes.

So our only remedy is to check a quote against Scripture.

There is no Bible verse that says that Cain is the son of Adam.

56-0603 THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE

Noah was a type that was carried over like the sleeping virgin. But Enoch was translated just before the tribulation struck. And Enoch was took up, and was found not, because God took him: the type of the going forth of the church.

And Noah watched him. When he seen Enoch go, he knew it was time to enter the ark,

for to be carried through the tribulation.

Enoch was translated 69 years before Noah was born. Then Noah lived 600 years before the Flood started.

So be careful before parroting a quote. You must check your facts first.

A Thessalonica church age? There was no such thing.

58-0928 THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Watch the candlesticks as we was on last night. The first candlestick is light. It went darker, darker, darker, till it went through

the fifteen hundred years of dark ages;

then started lighting up. And just before the last church age, she lit back again; in between the two church ages the Light come. Follow the Scripture of the Ephesian church,

Thessalonica church,

on down to the dark age,

Do not just repeat a quote.

The Dark Ages lasted about 1200 years and there never was a Thessalonica church age.

The light of Scripture began to switch off when the Nicene Council introduced the Trinity in AD 325. The church got more and more wrong until they even lost salvation by faith.

Luther's reformation began around 1517 and began the restoration of Bible light by bringing back salvation by faith alone. (He broke away from the Pope in 1520).

58-0928E THE SERPENT'S SEED

And as I said it in the teaching this morning, each one of those church ages on up to that

Thessalonica church age, the fifteen hundred years of Dark Ages,

Notice the same two mistakes again. The fact that a quote is repeated does not make it correct.

After the death of the apostles, there what come the Nicene fathers, and they went on for several years (three hundred and twenty-five years) finally came to Nicaea, France, where they had the great Nicene Council.

But Nicaea is not in France, it is in Asia Minor just above the city of Pergamos. Brother Branham mistook the city of Nicaea for the city Nice in Southern France. We all muddle our facts at times. So check before repeating a quote.

61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL

This was at Nicaea, Rome, when they had the Nicene Council.

Thus he says Nicaea, France and Nicaea, Rome. They cannot both be correct.

But Nicaea was not in Rome. Here Brother Branham was trying to emphasize how the AD 325 Council in the city of Nicaea played a major role in the rise of the power of Rome inside Christianity as the Roman Catholic church.

You need to understand what he was trying to say.

At the Nicaean Council, the emperor Constantine forced the Trinity onto the church. This promoted the Bishop of Rome, who believed the Trinity, to having political power within the western Roman Empire. The Pope thus became Constantine's strong man in the West while Constantine moved East to the new city of Constantinople. This also made the Roman Catholic church the official church of the Western Empire. Thanks to the Nicaean Council that forced the Trinity onto all the churches, the Roman church was becoming the strongest institution in the western Empire.

And it's exactly three hundred and twenty-five years to the Laodicean council.

The Nicaean Council was held in AD 325, not the Laodicean Council. Again, a fact got muddled up.

So we have to check our facts and not just repeat a quote like a parrot.

There was a Laodicean Council, but it happened in AD 363. Their three main mistakes were to remove the Book of Revelation from the New Testament, and add the book of Baruch to the Old Testament. They also confirmed that Sunday was the “correct” Sabbath day. Sunday, of course, is not the Sabbath day. There is no Scripture that says that.

But this Laodicean Council can be ignored as it was of no real significance since it did not actually increase the power of the Catholic church. The Nicaean Council really established the power of the Roman Catholic church. So the Nicaean Council was the critically important event. At that Council, the Roman Catholics also changed the date of Easter to a Friday and established their authority over other churches by forcing Friday onto the other churches. If Jesus died on a Friday then He only spent two nights in the grave, Friday night and Saturday night, before rising up on Sunday morning. But, like the prophet Jonah, He had to spend three nights in the grave. Thus He died on Thursday.

But today all the churches still believe He died on the unscriptural "Good Friday". That shows the power of the Catholic church to corrupt all the churches and their doctrines. Churches are ready to disagree with the Bible in order to agree with the Catholic church. Even Message churches obey the Catholic church on "Good Friday". Such is the power of Roman Catholic tradition.

MATTHEW 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

62-0318 THE SPOKEN WORD IS THE ORIGINAL SEED.2

Now, that's why we got all the things that we've got. Now,

all these things I've said, if they don't jive with the Bible, or dovetail with God's Word, they're wrong, they're wrong,

Any correct quote, if it is truly understood, will dovetail with the Bible and thus you will be able to prove it from the Bible.

But be careful, you need to know enough to spot that some quotes are wrong!

Quotes get misinterpreted and cause error

Message groups have split up into more than 30 different variations of the Message and each one claims that they only “say what the prophet said”.

But actually, no-one does do this, otherwise, there would not be so many variations of the Message.

The further the Communists got away from the teachings of Marx and Lenin, the more they glorified Marx and Lenin.

The further the Message preachers get away from the teachings of William Branham, the more they glorify William Branham.

They twist his quotes into statements that he did not actually make, and compensate for this by deifying him. They even call his messages “the Voice of God”.

That is deification because according to Scripture his messages are “the voice of the seventh angel”.

The 2016 American presidential election saw Message preachers predict that Hillary Clinton would win because they interpreted quotes about the 6th vision brother Branham had in 1933, and got the completely wrong result.

This was a classic warning to those who rely on quotes. Let us look at one of the quotes.

SEVEN CHURCH AGES LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE
Then in the sixth vision there arose up in America a most beautiful, but cruel woman. She held the people in her complete power. I believed that this was the rise of the Roman Catholic Church, though I knew it could possibly be a vision of some woman rising in great power in America due to a popular vote by women.

Brother Branham believed the woman symbolized the rise of the Roman Catholic church, a cruel system. It could possibly be a woman candidate, but was very unlikely to be Hillary Clinton as she is not cruel since she runs the Clinton charity foundation that has donated millions to good causes.

61-0312 JEHOVAH JIREH

And I seen a great woman rise up, beautiful to look at, but a cruel wicked heart.

And that will be a church.

And she's on her road now.

Here he definitely said the woman was a church.

60-1211E THE LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE

A powerful woman, great woman, she'll either be President,

or it'll be a woman representing the Catholic church (which I think it is)

will take over here someday and she'll rule this country.

It could be a woman President but he thought that she actually, as a woman, represented the Catholic church. So Message preachers stressed the lesser possibility. That was not very bright on their part, which just proves that their Light is going out.

60-1113 CONDEMNATION BY REPRESENTATION

Then when these women help elect the wrong person, then I seen a great woman rise up in the United States, well-dressed and beautiful, but cruel in heart. She will either guide or lead this nation to ruination.

(I've got in parenthesis "perhaps Catholic church.")

Again he thinks the woman is likely to be the Catholic church.

Said, "This new dictator, Mussolini, will take his first step toward Ethiopia, and Ethiopia will fall at his feet." It did. It said, "That'll be his last. He will end in disgrace." And I said, "It will come to pass before the end time comes that there will be a great woman stand up in the United States, because the United States is marked woman. Her number is thirteen, and she'll rise up, either be president,

or (I put it in parentheses)

perhaps the woman being beautiful and attractive will be the Catholic church but cruel at heart,

and she'll lead the nation to pollution.

The Catholic church attracts over one thousand million people. So the church is represented as a beautiful woman who is attractive. But her heart is cruel. This is the church that murdered tens of millions of people during the Dark Ages and the counter-Reformation.

This description did not fit Hillary Clinton. She is neither 'beautiful' nor cruel.

Brother Branham never clearly stated that the woman in the vision was an actual person. His own impression was that she symbolized the Catholic church.

Such is the deception of stressing quotes without Scripture. Message preachers said it must be Hillary.

Brother Branham never said that. They twisted his quotes to mean something that he never said. And they got it totally wrong. So if the congregations continue to follow their pastor's interpretations of the quotes, then the blind lead the blind.

Brother Branham said that he believed the woman represented the rise of the Roman Catholic church. He said it could possibly be a woman. But the Message preachers turned the “possibly be a woman” into “it is definitely Hillary Clinton”. In their rush to interpret the quote, and thereby be called clever, they even overlooked that Hillary is not a Catholic.

So, unsurprisingly, Message preachers got it wrong because they made no reference to Scripture.

The rise to power of the Roman Catholic church is the insidious but deadly inner threat to America, not the person who is President.

But in 2020, Joe Biden, a Catholic became the American President. So the Catholic church is rising in power.

The pastors who claimed that Hillary would be President are simply out of tune with God.

God is turning away from all our churches to the Jews. President Obama and Hillary favour the Arabs who want a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as capital. Trump said he would move the American embassy to Jerusalem, making Jerusalem the capital of Israel. So God favoured Trump, who was the completely rejected and totally unlikely candidate, because he wanted to help the Jews.

Obama and Clinton also supported same-sex marriage laws, which are contrary to Scripture.

Today Christians who stay with Scripture are rejected by Message churches and denominations. The “quote believers”, in the same way that Hillary did, regard themselves as favourites with God. But the Scripture-believers, who are universally rejected, will unexpectedly win in the end.

The Message groups who chose Hillary have just had a brief reality check. Their uninspired leaders, despite their addiction to quotes, have no clue what God is planning. Their trumpets uttered a very uncertain sound.

They should have been more careful with interpreting these visions because brother Branham also made a wrong prediction about the visions all being completed before 1977.

CHURCH AGE BOOK LAODICEA

Based on these seven visions, along with the rapid changes which have swept the world in the last fifty years,

I PREDICT (I do not prophesy) that these visions will have all come to pass by 1977.

…. So I repeat, I sincerely believe and maintain as a private student of the Word, along with Divine inspiration that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and

usher in the millennium.

One vision showed America being blown up as all he could see was craters and debris.

60-1125 CONFERENCE

Then I turned to look and I seen the United States was a smoldering something had burned it up.

And down beneath there I said, not in the trance, but, "I predict..." (remember this, I guess this is taped too), "I predict that these things will take place between now, 1933 and 1977."

About forty five years have moved on since 1977,

so the date of 1977 as the end of America was obviously wrong.

Once again, just repeating this quote does not establish truth.

Brother Branham came to restore us back to the New Testament beliefs. He, as a human, got the date wrong and the Message preachers who predicted Hillary as President, by trespassing into the dangerous realm of prophesying the future, failed dismally. They were doing God a service without it being His will. They will end up in the ditch, called great Tribulation.

Brother Branham denied being infallible

Please remember, you are not necessarily correct just because you repeat some quote like a parrot.

Scripture promised us the “voice of the seventh angel”. But nowhere does the Bible say that “the voice of God” will reveal the mysteries to us.

The voice of the seventh angel is NOT the Voice of God.

It is thus unscriptural to call brother Branham’s messages “the Voice of God”. God does not make mistakes.

William Branham is not God. He is a man, a repented sinner who was saved by Grace.

At best he is a star in the right hand of Jesus. So imagine how much greater Jesus is than any one of those seven stars.

Brother Branham admits that he can make mistakes at times. This is typical of any human.

And these answers are not infallible (See?), because the Scriptures is infallible;

and as far as I know they're lined with the Scriptures.

I hope that makes it plain. And the tape is to be kept now, and anyone that would want it, why, they could have it. But now, I know the Scriptures are infallible,

but my answers are not infallible.

So I'm sure everyone understands that. And if it's not infallible,

then you have a right maybe to ask me at any time...

You have a right to question any statement that he says and ask for proof from the Bible.

Stay with the Word. God is infallible.

That, they claim in here that some brethren up there that said that I sent them up there, and they're preaching that men should leave their wives and hunt for their spiritual mate, and

that I am perfectly infallible.

That there's nothing... And, oh,

some of the awfullest things you ever heard.

Saying that William Branham is infallible is just awful. So don’t do that.

Making brother Branham infallible merely turns him into another Pope.

Some quotes contradict each other

Another big problem we will come across is when brother Branham says different things on the same topic.

when statements contradict

you have to choose one and reject the other.

Thus all Message preachers select certain quotes and overlook others.

How do they know they have chosen the correct quote? They would have to prove it from Scripture. But most of them do not know how to do that. Ignorance of Scripture has spread from the denominations to the Message groups.

But even when they preach what they think is the correct quote, they are still not saying what brother Branham said in the other quotes that they rejected.

So they are not saying everything that he said. They are just repeating some selected quotes.

For instance :

Which, Moses was never... No, his body was packed away. The Angels took him; he did not mortify;

he did not corrupt.

He was a perfect type of Christ. He died, and the Angels packed him away, and even the devil don't even know where he's buried, and tried to dispute with Michael the Archangel about his burial. That's what the Bible said. God took him up in the rapture.

Eight hundred years later, eight hundred years later, on Mount Transfiguration, here stood those two man.

Moses' body had been rotten for hundreds of years,

but here he was in such a form till even Peter, James, and John recognized him.

Which quote is correct? I have no idea, and nor do any Message preachers unless they can come up with Scriptural evidence.

You cannot make an informed choice unless you have information.

Information consumes time as its fuel. So it takes time to track down the truth.

There is no easy path. You have to know the Bible and the Message.

But Message believers are consumed with ignorance and laziness.

Too lazy to track the truth in Scripture. That takes hard work.

If you read the Bible and ignore the Message you will be blind to much that is in Scripture.

If you read the Message and do not take it back to the Bible, you will be lame. Thus you won’t get far.

We must be restored back to the New Testament beliefs, because our only guaranteed information comes from the Bible.

If you cannot answer from the Scripture, then the trumpet that you are blowing has an uncertain sound.

Another example :

62-1230E IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END SIR

Look where the voices was, the Thunders. Not in Heaven; on earth!

The Thunders never uttered from the heavens. They uttered from the earth.

63-0324E THE SEVENTH SEAL

The seven thunders in heaven will unfold this mystery.

It'll be right at the coming of Christ, because Christ said no one knew when He would return.

One quote says the seven thunders uttered from earth not from the heavens. The other quote says the thunders in heaven unfold the mystery.

Once again your guess is as good as mine. We simply do not know how to answer this. If you choose one quote, you are rejecting what he said in the other quote. So you are not saying all that he said.

He also said

One of the mystery of that [ seventh ] Seal, the reason it wasn't revealed, it was seven thunders that uttered their voices, and there it is perfectly,

because nothing knows anything about it; wasn't even written.

The seven thunders were never written so they are a total mystery.

Whatever you say the seven thunders are, you are wrong.

No one knows anything about it.

Brother Branham explained the function of the seven thunders in terms of what they will achieve. But he never told us what they actually are.

He never told us what they uttered.

He never said that, “the seven thunders have uttered”.

So if you want to just say what he said, you’ll never say that the seven Thunders have uttered.

It can be a difficult exercise to correctly establish dates in the Bible.

Now we know that Jesus was slain about AD 30. Is that right? About... It was about the middle of the year, I guess, AD 30.

Now, now, Jesus, Messiah, rode into the city of Jerusalem, triumph, on the back of a white mule on Palm Sunday, April the 2nd, A.D. 30.

Note. "A white mule is also wrong". He rode a donkey. The colour was never mentioned.

The Jews rejected Jesus at Calvary.

But the original church begin in Jerusalem, A.D. 33, on the day of Pentecost.

The day of Pentecost was 50 days after Calvary. So Calvary and Pentecost were in the same year.

So one quote says AD 30 and another says AD 33. If you know how to, you can prove from Scripture that AD 33 is correct. But if you do not know how to prove that, then you are forced to guess which date you think is right. Then once again you are rejecting the other statement that he made, without proving that it is wrong. That is not very clever.

Even if you correctly quote AD 33, but cannot prove that date from Scripture, then you are not really understanding what you are talking about. If you say 33 AD is correct, you are of no help to someone else unless you can prove it from Scripture.

Otherwise, when you convince someone, you are just making another parrot in your own image.

Remember, many people can quote Einstein’s famous equation E = m c ², but not that many can explain what it means or how it works. We need to have a background for the facts that we state.

Another puzzling doctrine:

We all have a spirit and a soul inside our body. So your body is on the outside, covering your spirit and soul. But what is the correct order within us?

Does the soul get bundled up inside the spirit, or does the spirit get bundled up inside the soul?

So is the correct order “body, soul, and spirit” or “body, spirit, and soul”?

What difference is it between body, soul, and spirit?

61-0108 REVELATION CHAPTER FOUR 3

All right, see: body, soul, spirit.

He states this order many times. This claims that the spirit is the innermost part of man. This is the order that mostly all the churches quote. Thus churches speak of living a “soulish” life, which is an unscriptural word.

And you are: body, spirit, and soul.

Then in this one quote he changed the order to body, spirit, and soul. This claims that the soul is the innermost part of man.

Although he only mentions this order once, this quote can be proven correct from Scripture.

If you just repeat his quotes like a parrot, with no understanding or proof from the Bible, then you are most likely to believe the order as “body, soul, and spirit” because he says this often.

You would however then be wrong.

The Scripture reference is

I THESSALONIANS 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your

whole spirit and soul and body

be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is not the order that it is, otherwise Paul would start with the body which is on the outside.

This is the order in which it works. The Spirit convicts you and waters the seed of God’s Word in your soul and as this seed Word germinates, it brings your body under subjection. Each seed produces its own body.

Nowhere does God call us to be parrots. He wants us to know what we are talking about.

Consider what brother Branham says on the length of the Dark Ages.

53-0831 GOD TALKED TO MOSES

God, after the dark ages, and the great fifteen hundred years of pagan persecution to the Church, there was a man named Martin Luther; he saw that the just shall live by faith.

54-0404E GOD HAS A PROVIDED WAY

Then went out into the fifteen hundred years of dark ages. Then come the reformation.

62-0624 SUPER SIGN

And then the locust and palmerworms begin to eat on her, until it sucked the life out of her, and it went through about a thousand years of dark ages.

Were the dark ages a thousand years or fifteen hundred years long? We need some understanding.

Thyatira, the fourth church age, was the dark age from about AD 606 to 1520 approximately. Roughly 900 years. So the thousand years would be close to the proper length for the fourth church age.

But the third church age was also dark because that is when the Trinity began in AD 325vto switch off the truth of God's Word.

A major problem is connecting up quotes to produce a revelation that brother Branham did not actually say.

Statements from different messages are spliced together to make a story line. This is then regarded as a revelation.

Here the other day in Arizona, splicing tapes, to try to make me say things that I didn't say.

Truth is not established by joining quotes together.

Angel only comes down after all mysteries are revealed

Take this example of a statement that brother Branham did not make.

Message preachers claim that “the Cloud of 1963 is the Angel of Revelation 10 coming down”.

This idea is mainly based on the following quote :

... and the mysteries comes down from God as the Word of God

and reveals the entire revelation of God.

Then the Godhead and everything else is settled. All the mysteries: serpent's seed and whatevermore is to be revealed. Now, you see, I'm just not making that up. That's what... It's THUS SAITH THE LORD. I'll read it to you out of the Book: the sounding of the seventh angel's message, the mystery of God should be finished that's been declared by His holy prophets. That's the prophets who has wrote the Word. At the sounding of the seventh church age, the last church age, all the loose ends that through these church ages have been probed at, will be wound up together.

And when the Seals are broke and the mystery is revealed, down comes the Angel, the Messenger, Christ, setting His foot upon the land and upon the sea with a rainbow over His head.

Now remember,

this seventh angel is on earth at the time of this coming.

Message believers thus claim that brother Branham must be on earth when the Angel comes down.

But that is not what he is saying. He is saying that there are two comings. The mysteries come down. After that, the Angel comes down. The 7th angel is only on earth for this (singular) coming. Not both comings.

Notice. First, the mysteries come down as the revealed Word. Brother Branham has to be on earth then because that is his ministry. He has to reveal the mysteries and introduce Jesus to us as the Word of God by revealing the Seven Seals.

Only AFTER these mysteries have been revealed to the Bride will the Angel come down.

Brother Branham does not have to be on earth then.

But let us look at this quote more carefully.

The Cloud photo was on 28 February 1963. He preached in Houston on 4 March, and then he went hunting near Flagstaff on 6 March. The 7 angels came invisibly to him on 8 March, which is 8 days after the Cloud was photographed. He also did not know that there were two clouds.
He was thus not present when the Cloud flew over Flagstaff.
He knew nothing about the Cloud until Pearry Greene showed him the back cover of Life magazine about two months later.
He says that the Angel only comes down after the Seals are broken and the mystery is revealed.
He only finished revealing the Seals 24 days after the Cloud on 24 March and he only finished revealing all the mysteries in December 1965.
Thus the Angel could not come down before the Seals were broke.
Thus the Cloud, which flew over at a height of 42 kilometers before the Seals broke, could not be the Angel.
The Cloud never came down to earth, it flew across the sky at a height of 42 kilometers. The Cloud flew over Flagstaff when brother Branham was 200 miles south from Flagstaff in Tucson.
The Angel of Revelation Chapter 10 never flew horizontally across the sky.
“This coming” is vague. What coming is he talking about? This paragraph refers to the coming of the Angel but the previous paragraph refers to the coming of the mysteries.

We need more clarity so we must consider other quotes from the Seven Seals messages.

An informed decision needs more information.

Further problems :

REVELATION 10: 1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

Cloud face

The Angel wore a cloud as clothes on His body. The 1963 Cloud only has a head with no body.

No rainbow is obviously visible upon the head of the Cloud.

The face in the Cloud is dark, not shining like the sun.

The Cloud does not have two feet, nor are two pillars of fire present.

The Cloud has no hand and no Book. The Angel had an open Book because the mysteries had been revealed before He came down.

The Cloud was only seen about 500 miles away from the sea (the Californian coast at Vandenberg Airforce Base), and was moving away from the sea.

The Cloud swept past at an altitude of 42 kilometers, so it never touched land or sea.

There are obviously problems as the Cloud does not match the first two verses of Revelation Chapter 10 very well.

So let us look at other quotes in the Seven Seals messages to gain more clarity.

63-0318 THE FIRST SEAL

... I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud:... a rainbow... upon his head, and his face was... the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Now, we saw the same thing, which was Christ. And we know Christ is always the Messenger to the Church. All right. He's called a Pillar of Fire, the Angel of the covenant and so forth.

And he had in his hand a little book opened:

(Now, the Seals had done been broke here.

We're breaking them now; but this, the thing's opened.)

and he set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the earth,

Brother Branham in the Seven Seals messages was revealing the opening of the Book. But the Angel only came down when the Book was open.

So the Angel can only come down after the revelation of the opening of the Seals.

But the Cloud was photographed before the revelation of the opening of the Seals.

Thus the Cloud cannot be the Angel coming down.

In addition, no-one ever saw the Cloud below a height of about 42 kilometers. Thus the Cloud never came down to earth.

And here He returns back in the 10th chapter after the coming time, that all the mysteries is to be finished, and the Seals are to be broke, and proclaiming that its time is no more. And he said, "When the seventh angel has begin to sound,

then the mysteries should be finished and time for the Angel to appear. We're close,

somewhere. That's right.

This is 17 days after the Cloud was photographed and he is still waiting for the Angel to appear.

The Angel can only come down when the mysteries are finished.

Remember, the Angel did not come down in order to reveal the mysteries.

63-0318 THE.FIRST.SEAL

What about the hour has come that when His Bride must be taken away? What, that the hour has come that time shall be no more?

The Angel is ready to set one foot on land and the other on the sea

with a rainbow over Him, with feet, and say, "Time's run out."

18 days after the Cloud and the Angel has not come down yet.

63-0323 THE.SIXTH.SEAL

I can almost see that Angel standing there and saying at the last of that seventh angel's message,

"Time shall be no more." That little loyal Bride will fly away into the arms of Jesus one of these days when He takes her to Father's house.

The Angel is still future tense, 23 days after the Cloud. Brother Branham’s last message was completed in December 1965. The Angel can only come down after that.

63-0320 THE THIRD SEAL

the seventh angel, when he sounds, all the mysteries of God should be finished up by his sounding.

Then after it's revealed, the Angel come down from heaven,

which was Christ (Now remember, this angel and is on earth, a messenger). Down comes Christ (You see Him in the 10th chapter of Revelations.), puts one foot upon the land and the other one on the sea, rainbow over His head,

After the mysteries are revealed, then only does the Angel appear.

But the Cloud came before the Seals were revealed.

63-0320 THE.THIRD.SEAL

And then goes on and said, in the day just before these seven thunders, all the mysteries here are revealed.

The seven Thunders utter at the time of the Angel. The mysteries have to be revealed before that.

63-0321 THE.FOURTH.SEAL

And then after these Seven Seals are completed, we find in Revelations 10 there was seven mysterious thunders

that John was commissioned to write but then forbidden to write those. And at the time of those thunders, we find Christ, or the Angel come down with a rainbow, and put His feet on the land and sea and swore that time had run out at that time.

The Angel comes down after the seven seals are completed. The Cloud was seen 24 days before the Seals were completed. Thus the Cloud that came before the Seven Seals cannot be the Angel. The seven Thunders utter at the time of the Angel coming down.

Time runs out; the Bible said so.

Revelations the 10th chapter and 1 to the 7th verse. Time runs out. The angel said, "Time will be no more," when that--

in the days of this great thing to happen

Preaching on the Seventh Seal brother Branham speaks of the Angel coming down as a great thing that is still to happen sometime in the future.

The 7 Thunders and the Angel also involve the Jews

Now a further complication arises.

The mighty Angel of Revelation 10 has a ministry towards the Bride and towards the two prophets, Moses and Elijah, who go to the Jews.

This seven-sealed Book is revealed at the time of the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10. If you're marking it down... Let's turn to Revelations 10 just a moment, so you'll get a understanding before we get into it. Now, this is at the end time, for listen.

... I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow... upon his head,...

If you notice that's Christ (See?), 'cause He in the Old Testament was called the Angel of the Covenant, and

He's directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished.

See? All right.

... and his face... as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

So the Angel is also involved with the Jews after the rapture.

You remember that Angel in Revelations 1? Same thing. Angel is a messenger, and

He's a Messenger to Israel. See? The Church has been raptured. See?

Now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church.

The Angel also has a ministry towards the Bride that is waiting to be raptured.

The Angel of Revelation 10 happens at the changeover time from the Gentiles to the Jews. The Gentile church is fixing to be raptured.

The rapture happens in a moment when the Bride has sufficient supernatural power to walk up into the air.

They can only achieve that when they

Then with the church gone the Angel also deals with the two prophets who guide the Jews as the Tribulation starts.

REVELATION 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

The seven thunders utter at the time of this Angel. The seven thunders give the Bride rapturing faith, and the seven thunders give the two Jewish prophets supernatural power.

In both cases the seven thunders are associated with tremendous supernatural power.

63-0321 THE FOURTH SEAL

Now, we had him coming last night with his great sword to kill. We find out that he gets killed with the Sword too, the sword of the Word. God's Word, sharp, two-edged sword slays him, puts him right down.

Wait till them seven thunders utter their voices to that group who really can take the Word of God and hand it there.

It'll slice and cut.

And they can close the heavens; they can shut this or do that, whatever they want to.

Glory.

He will be slayed by the Word that proceeds from His mouth; it's sharper than a two-edged sword.

They could call for a hundred billion tons of flies if they wanted to.

Amen. Whatever they say's going to happen, because it's the Word of God coming from the mouth of God. Amen.

Moses and Elijah come with the power of the spoken Word. They will close the heavens for three and a half years of no rain.

They will smite the earth with plagues as often as they want to.
REVELATION 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. (three and a half years)

REVELATION 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

64-0719M THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS

Notice, they'll know their Messiah when they see Him. He is coming in power, this time, the One they looked for.

He is coming in power, for the Gentile Bride, and the Jews are going to recognize Him.

When He comes for His Bride, it is also time to turn to the Jews.

The cloud of 1963 was just a sign

The Angel of Chapter 10 had still not appeared as he can only appear when brother Branham has finished explaining the mysteries. The mysteries were finished only in December 1965 when brother Branham died. So the Angel could not have appeared before then.

63-0412M THE WORLD IS FALLING APART

Remember, "The sounding of the seventh angel,

the mysteries of God was finished." "And there come an Angel from Heaven,

and swore with His hands raised from Heaven," Revelation 10:1 to 7, "that time would be no more." Exactly right, the hour.

The Angel comes only when the mysteries are finished.

But did you notice before the Seven Seals was revealed, before the great mysterious Light showed forth in the heavens up here at above Tucson, Flagstaff,

… And He sent me back, said that the time was at hand for

was sealed in with these Seven Seals. And how these angels down along the road, messengers of the Church Ages, opened to a certain part of that.

But in the seventh hour, the seventh messenger, that all these mysteries should be finished.

See?

The seventh earthly messenger, see, this angel that He speaks of then was on earth. An angel means "messenger." And then,

AFTER that, he saw another Angel coming down,

not the earthly angel that had been given the Message here, but the (another) mighty Angel came from Heaven with a rainbow over Him, and set His foot on the land and sea, and swore by Him that lives forever and ever, "Time shall be no more." See?

But BEFORE He broke forth on those Seven Seals to reveal them, that He showed miraculous, He showed it first in the heavens.

That day they took pictures all across southern United States and Mexico. There it hangs now in the Life Magazine, still a mystery to them.

But He declares it in the heavens before He does it on earth.

He always does that. He shows His signs in the heavens first.

The Cloud was a sign in the heavens before the mysteries of the Seven Seals were revealed.

The big problem with Message believers is that they mistake the sign for the reality.

The Cloud was a sign. The Cloud was not the actual Angel coming down.

After the mysteries should be finished, John saw another Angel coming down.

The moon reflects itself

and science again picks up the picture of the Church Ages, just as they picked up

that Light yonder and put it in Life Magazine, of the opening of the Seals, of the revealing in the age of the seventh angel.

In the days of his ministry, the seventh messenger, the mysteries of God, which all the mysteries has been along the ages, should be revealed, made manifest, it should be at that time. In the days of his ministry, the seventh messenger,

the mysteries of God,

which all the mysteries has been along the ages, should be revealed,

made manifest, it should be at that time.

And He did it! His words don't fail. Isn't that a mysterious thing?

God drawing in the heavens the same thing

The Cloud (seen high up as a Light after sunset) reflected the sunlight to be a sign in the heavens that the seventh angel was going to reveal the Light of the mysteries of God’s Word to a world that was below in darkness.

Thus the Cloud was a sign in the heavens.

It was not the Coming of the Lord nor the coming of the Angel of Revelation Chapter 10.

Do not muddle up a sign with an actual event.

Just exactly like He showed us the Seven Church Ages, what would come. Just exactly what He showed us what would come when He set that Light up there, in revelation to it, to show the world.

When He sent the seven Angels to reveal the seven messengers

that had been down through there, and show the loose ends,

each Angel coming each day and revealing the loose ends that Luther left, and Wesley left, and Pentecost left, is all represented in there.

And in the very type and shadow of the great Shalom, Jehovah, Jvhu.

See? Exactly. Showed It in the skies,

and there is the mechanical eye taking a picture of It. See? Thank the Lord!

The Cloud was made up of the seven angels that would later reveal the history of the seven church ages that are hidden in the Seals. First, the seven angels were revealed as a Cloud in the skies supernaturally. They flew visibly over Flagstaff eight days before they came invisibly to brother Branham, and told him to go back home and preach on the Seven Seals. Then the angels departed invisibly without forming a cloud. Brother Branham returned to Jeffersonville.

Then each night an angel came to teach him the mysteries of the next Seal that he was to preach on.

65-0718M TRYING TO DO GOD A SERVICE WITHOUT BEING THE WILL OF GOD

And then in that great observatory, so that the world will be without, they're still wondering what happened.

In Tucson, them big observatories took the picture of it up there;

still wondering what happened. What is it? They still put in the paper, "Does anybody know anything about what, how it could have happen?" There is no fog up there, there's no air, there's no moisture; thirty miles high in the air. Oh, my!

"There shall be signs in the heaven above. And when these things take place, earthquakes in divers places,

then shall appear the sign in the heaven of the Son of man."

"That day," in Luke, "the Son of man will reveal Himself again; being revealed, Hisself." And the world will look like Sodom and Gomorrah. Oh, my!

MATTHEW 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

The cloud of 1963 was a sign in the heavens to vindicate brother Branham’s revelation of the mysteries.

The Angel will only come down after the mysteries are finished.

"In the very day that the Son of man is revealed." Revelations 10:1 to 7, read it when you get home, "the seventh angel's Message, opening up the Seals." What is it?

Not the angel is the Son of man; but the messenger is revealing the Son of man.

Can you get it separated now?

That's where it seems to be so hard for you, you see.

Not the Son of man, Himself;

but the seventh angel, the seventh messenger, is revealing to the public the Son of man,

because It's left the shuck. He can't organize It. It's the Grain, Itself, again.

William Branham was not Christ. He is not the Son of Man. A prophet is a son of man. He was revealing Christ as He walks through the pages of the Bible.

JOHN 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

John confessed to being an anointed one or a Christ (Christos in the Greek) but said he was not the anointed one because Jesus is the Christ.

So William Branham can be an anointed one but not the anointed one.

Brother Branham was a son of man who was revealing the power and insight of the Son of Man, Jesus.

The fullness of God was near the prophet but not in him

And when I said, "prophets," Something struck me again. "What was the prophets?"

Then I begin to think of it, about what He did with the prophets. After I was speaking there for awhile, inside myself, just thinking, till I become so conscious of Something near, till I was talking to Someone.

And Something said to me, "That's in the atonement, for if a man or a woman is so consecrated and surrendered to God, that

God just moves in and uses their voice, and it isn't the man speaking,

it's God that's in him speaking..."

Mine, I was born to see visions. Now, on the platform, here comes--someone comes up before me. Now, it takes their faith to do it. It's their own faith. …

And then, maybe hours before I come to the meeting I--I'm in prayer and to myself.

And then I see that Light come near me,

63-0623 THE FLASHING RED LIGHT OF THE SIGN OF HIS COMING

Living in this great day that we're living in, near the coming of the Son of man,

and the lights a flashing everywhere, of His Coming.

Four months after the Cloud and he is talking about the future coming of the Son of man. So the Cloud could not be the coming of Christ or the coming of the Son of man.

The Holy Spirit stood invisibly next to, or near, brother Branham when he demonstrated the power of discernment on the platform.

… You might have thought today that I was trying to say that about myself, being that I was packing this Message. I have no more to do with It than nothing, no more than just a voice. And, my voice, even against my better judgment; I wanted to be a trapper. But it's the will of my Father that I declare to do, and determined to do.

I wasn't the One that appeared down on the river; I was only standing there when He appeared. I'm not the One that performs these things and foretells these things that happens as perfect they are;

I'm only one that's near when He does it. I was only a voice that He used, to say It.

It wasn't what I knew; it's what I just surrendered myself to, that He spoke through. It isn't me, it wasn't the seventh angel, oh, no; it was the manifestation of the Son of man. It wasn't the angel, his message; it was the mystery that God unfolded. It's not a man; it's God.

The angel was not the Son of man; he was the messenger from the Son of man.

The Son of man is Christ; He is the One that you're feeding on. You're not feeding on a man; a man, his words will fail. But you're feeding on the unfailing Body-Word of the Son of man.

Christ, the Son of man, speaking through the voice and visible presence of William Branham who was only a son of man. We needed the visible prophet to manifest or reveal the invisible power of God.

But that does not make the man to be God. The man William Branham was just a messenger that God was using.

His ministry was not to replace Christ.

That would be very wrong.

His ministry was to reveal the mysteries in the Bible and demonstrate the power of God so that we could turn back to the original New Testament church.

The Angel comes down to perform the resurrection

The great Composer knows exactly what's in it. He knows. He knowed you, from the beginning. He put your name on the Lamb's Book of Life, before the foundation of the world. Do you believe that? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] He knows what you're supposed to do. No matter how low it goes, and how dark it looks, it's got to be that way.

But, remember, if it goes plumb into the shadows of death, "I am the resurrection and Life; I'll raise him up again." And when the great Director comes down and bears that stick down, then, "time shall be no more."

When that Angel, of Revelation the 10th chapter,

puts one foot on land and one on the sea, and a rainbow over His head,

He swore, "time shall be no more." When that time comes, you'll rise up from among the dead.

While the rest of them lay there, you'll go in.

The Angel of Revelation Chapter 10 has to raise the dead in the resurrection. This is the purpose of Revelation Chapter 10.

Jesus ascended to heaven 40 days after the first resurrection of the Old Testament saints.

The living Bride is unlikely to be on earth for much more than 40 days after the resurrection of the New Testament saints.

People are bound to their church leader by fear

Church-goers are very happy to criticize the King James Bible.

But they are scared to criticize their church or its leader.

They are dead scared of having to leave their church and then having to think for themselves.

CHURCH AGES LAODICEA

…and the Saviour set aside for a works program, or church joining,

or some type of conformity to a church system?

What more can be done against Him? This is the apostasy!

People feel that they must believe only the way the pastor interprets certain quotes, in order to belong to a church.

But it is a wrong zeal. It is for the house of their own building. It is for their own creeds, dogmas, organizations, their own righteousness.

They have put the Word out for their own ideas. They deposed the Holy Ghost and made men into leaders.

They have put aside Eternal Life as a Person, and make it good works, or even church conformity rather than good works.

You cannot belong to a Message church or a denominational church unless you conform strictly to what they believe.

Now in every case you will notice that

a false prophet is one who is outside the Word.

Just as we showed you that 'antichrist' means 'anti-Word' so these false prophets come perverting the Word, giving it a meaning that fits their own devilish ends. Have you ever noticed how

the people who lead others astray bind them closely to themselves by fear?

They say that if the people don't do what they say, or if they leave, then destruction will follow.

False preachers make you scared of disagreeing with them. False preachers bind you to themselves by saying that you are lost if you do not believe them.

CHURCH AGES LAODICEA

They are false prophets, for a true prophet will always lead one to the Word and bind the people to Jesus Christ and he won't tell the people to fear him or what he says, but to fear what the Word says.

Brother Branham tells us not to fear his quotes but to fear the Word.

Thus, before believing a quote, we must take the quote back to the Bible and prove that point from Scripture. Then we believe it, not because brother Branham says so, but because the Bible says so.

MATTHEW 17:10 "And His disciples asked Him saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?" And Jesus said, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things."

We have to be restored back to the early church.

The first church did not believe that the Lord had come, or that mercy was over.
The first church did not know the new name of Jesus.

If they did not know all these things, then we cannot know them either.

When the first church age saints are resurrected up by the Angel of Revelation 10, then the seven thunders utter to reveal the new name of Jesus and prepare us for the Coming of the Lord, and we will hear it together with the resurrected saints.

We are not supposed to believe differently from them. We must be restored back to what they believed.
