Old Testament events outline the New Testament reality
Making man in the image of God required God to give man free will and thus freedom of choice. The man had to be presented with alternatives so that he could decide between loyalty and rebellion.
The Jews established the pattern for the Gentile church.
A woman represents a church as the true church is called the Bride of Christ.
Naomi, representing the Jewish church, left the Promised Land because of hardship illustrating how the Jewish nation forsook the Will and Plan of God. The Moabites were illegitimate descendants of Lot and were not regarded as Jews. The Moabites hired the prophet Balaam to curse the Jews as the Jews marched toward the Promised Land.
But to have Naomi leave the Promised Land was essential as that enabled her to meet Ruth. Then the non-Jew Ruth was able to go to the Promised Land with Naomi and meet her kinsman-redeemer Boaz. A lovely picture of the Gentile church coming to Christ.
The Jews, by rejecting God’s Plan at Calvary, enabled the non-Jewish Gentiles to meet their Kinsman Redeemer Jesus.
ACTS 13:19 And when he [Joshua] had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.
Israel conquered Canaan by destroying 7 heathen nations.
The true church has to conquer religious deception during the seven church ages. Each age has specific problems to overcome.
The land was divided by lot. From a human point of view that seemed to be by chance. But from God’s point of view, everything was planned according to His Bigger Picture that the Jews did not understand.
The Old Testament Law and events were just a shadow or outline of the New Testament reality.
HEBREWS 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come,
Every Christian has been allocated a place in a specific church age. From our point of view it seems to be a random accident of birth. But God had to prepare each individual for the specific age that they had been predestinated to face.
We have to be able to discern what God is revealing in our age.
I CORINTHIANS 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy;
to another discerning of spirits;
to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
Discerning of spirits includes the ability to discern which spirits have entered the church in order to guide the church away from the Word of God.
That helps to explain why no parable concerning the end-time church and no prophecy concerning the end-time church says anything good about any end-time church.
We also have to be able to discern what God’s Spirit is trying to do in our day.
The mystery of God today is that He is trying to restore us back to the beliefs of the first church age.
In the Dark Ages, the Christians had to be tough enough and sufficiently dedicated to endure the mass slaughter of tens of millions of believers, as the Seed Word of God that the apostles wrote as the New Testament was buried in the dirt of the Dark Ages. They discerned that God would strengthen them in their sufferings.
Around 1520 in Martin Luther’s age, the Gospel leaves germinated and they had to see and discern that salvation was by faith alone. Good works would not get them into Heaven.
Around 1750 in John Wesley’s age, they had to discern that God wanted the holiness and outreach that led to the great missionary age across the world. Just like pollen blowing across the field.
After 1906 in Azusa Street in Los Angeles the Pentecostals had to discern that it was time for the restoration of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. They were the husk that would protect the Seed Word that was developing.
From 1947 to 1965 the Bride had to discern that William Branham in America was revealing the mysteries of Scripture.
After 1965 the Bride had to discern that brother Branham’s sermons were to reveal the Scriptures and thus had to be proven from the written King James Bible. The Bride has to discern that the unwritten mysteries of the 7 Thunders, the coming of the Lord, and the new name of Jesus that are preached by message-pastors, who claim to follow brother Branham, are completely wrong. They must discern that the deity-doctrine that places the interpretation of quotes as more important than Scripture is very wrong too.
After the Dark Ages, each church age was allotted certain beliefs that they had to be able to see if they wanted to be in God’s Will. God’s Will is to restore the original truth after it was lost until the final seed that is harvested is identical to the seed that was planted.
So, God works in a certain pattern.
What happened at different times in the Old Testament was symbolizing a deeper truth that would emerge in the New Testament.
We serve God best when we die to self and obey God
ACTS 13:20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
The history of the judges was the Jews moving away from God’s Word and losing the truth and then being punished by an invading enemy until they cried to God for help. He then sent someone, a judge, to remove the enemy from the Promised Land. Six times the Jews were invaded and suppressed for a total of 111 years when pagans ruled them and thus they had no say in their own Promised Land.
Rather like today's churches where you have no freedom to believe what the Bible says but are forced to believe unscriptural things like Trinity and Christmas.
This was the background to the Book of Ruth. In the time of the judges where the Jews longed for political freedom from their oppressors.
They wanted deliverance from their hard times. They wanted a deliverer to get rid of their enemies. But they did not want a deliverer to take them back closer to God. (Church people have the same attitude. They have no desire to get back to believing the King James Version of the Bible. The churches claim that there are mistakes and contradictions in the King James Bible. But Jesus is the Word of God. If you claim there are mistakes in the King James Bible then you claim that there are mistakes in Jesus).
The last judge was the strong man Samson. An angel announced his birth yet his behaviour was often completely wrong. So, God could use a badly behaved man to fulfill His Will. The final lesson we learn from the Judges is that when he pulled down the pillars of the building onto himself and died he killed the greatest number of his enemies. So, however strong we may be spiritually, when we die to ourselves, we serve God most effectively.
Thus, the Book of Ruth that follows the Book of Judges must give us an insight into how we can die to ourselves in order to seek a true Redeemer. One Who can redeem us from sin, not just from our political oppressors or our financial problems. Involvement in politics is the downfall of many Christians.
We need a Redeemer Who can save us from our unbelief rather than just saving us from our material needs.
So, the time of the judges was a time of the Jews repeatedly disobeying God’s Word and then calling out for a deliverer from God’s punishment. Their mistake was to always ask for a political deliverer who could chase out the current enemy. (We see this today with the churches getting intensely involved in politics).
Their search for a political Saviour never solved their problems in a meaningful way as the Book of Judges ends with confusion and civil war. (The polarization of American religious groups is a modern example).
They did not call out for a prophet who could lead them back to God’s Word.
(The church groups reject the revelations of God's modern prophet, William Branham from America, because they do not prove his doctrines just by using the Bible. Thus they are free to make up their numerous own opinions).
When God sent them the prophet Samuel, they were not too happy. They wanted to be like other nations and have a dictatorial king rule over them. They placed their own will above God’s Will.
Then, worse still, they demanded that the prophet Samuel ask God for a king to rule over them.
JUDGES 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
Each person had their own opinion. Each church priest, or reverend, or minister, or pastor has his own opinion that he imposes on the church, as the self-proclaimed head of the church. No man is the head of the church. Only Jesus is the Head of the church.
The Jews did not want to follow a prophet like Samuel. They wanted a king over them to tell them what to do.
We are much the same. We put our own opinions or the opinion of a church leader above the Word of God and end up believing something that is unscriptural.
For example, Christmas is our biggest Christian festival but nobody seems to realize that the Bible never asked us to celebrate the Lord’s birth.
25 December is copied from the birthday of the pagan Roman sun god. The date of 25 December was established by the pagan Roman emperor Aurelian in AD 274. Jeremiah Chapter 10 tells us not to copy the heathen who chop down a tree and deck it with gold and silver. But we love our Christmas trees too much.
The wise men in Matthew 2:11 went into a house to see a two-year-old Child. They never saw a Baby in a manger so they never gave gifts at the birth of Jesus. Paganism seems to be in our blood as we insist on getting things wrong and being unscriptural. That is dangerous.
MATTHEW 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:
Human beings struggle to obey God of their own free will. We prefer to dress up pagan festivals with Christian words as if we can impress God with human traditions that are a deadly mix of truth and error.
Born in sin, we naturally incline to the leadership of Satan and are attracted by his false ways. What Satan offers us is nearer to our fallen human, worldly nature of self-gain and self-admiration. Satan encourages us to believe what is not written in the Bible. Satan encourages us to ignore or contradict what is written in the Bible.
Hardship easily persuades us to abandon the Will of God
RUTH 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
The man was Elimelech. His wife was Naomi.
Moab was not a Jewish country. In the Old Testament God was dealing with Jews.
And the first mistake a Jew ever makes is leave that Promised Land. God gave them that Land.
God gives us the written King James Version of the Bible. Our first mistake is to leave what the Bible says and believe some clever church idea that is not written in Scripture.
God tests us with difficulties on the way.
He sent the Jews a famine. If they forsook the Promised Land and went to Moab then life would be much easier for them, so they thought. Like today’s church-goers, they easily sought the more convenient and popular worldly options. Church-goers leave their proper Scriptural beliefs by preferring to go to the unscriptural Christmas and Good Friday celebrations that the churches offer.
Jesus said He must be in the tomb for three nights. The churches say He died on Good Friday (an unscriptural expression). Then He could only be in the tomb for two nights, Friday night and Saturday night, before rising up on Sunday morning.
MATTHEW 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and
three nights in the heart of the earth.
So, we forsake the written Word, and travel outside our Promised Land (the Holy Ghost revealed Scriptures) to dwell in some Gentile church’s unscriptural traditions. There we enjoy Lent, Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, and hot-cross buns that have nothing to do with the Gospel. Not to mention Christmas turkey and crackers.
Yet Elimelech and Naomi were right at the centre of God’s Promised Land. The town of Bethlehem in Judah.
GENESIS 49:9 Judah is a lion's whelp:
:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Judah would bring forth the Messiah Who would rule. Messiah was the most important Man to the Jews.
People would gather towards Messiah if they wanted to be saved.
But Elimelech, who was right at the centre of God’s chosen place, chose to leave Judah. Therefore, he was going the wrong way.
Bethlehem was the town right in God’s focus of prophecy.
MICAH 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Bethlehem means the House of God’s Bread. Jesus is the Bread of Life.
But there is a price to be paid for leaving God’s appointed place.
Joseph was living in Nazareth when Jesus was to be born. God forced Joseph and Mary to move back to Bethlehem by getting the Roman Emperor or Caesar to tax the world. The whole world paid a tax to make sure that one man and one woman had to go to Bethlehem to fulfill prophecy. Never underestimate God’s power to bring His Word to pass.
In 2020 God closed down the local churches, that had become unscriptural, with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Then internet programs like ZOOM were improved and developed so that scattered individuals can now fellowship together around the revealed Bible truth despite living in different parts of the world. A worldwide pandemic developed and this, of necessity, expanded the necessary computer communication software so that isolated individuals can be gleaned up for the end-time harvest.
“Ephrath” is associated with death and hard labour but also with the birth of the one tribe Benjamin that stayed true to Judah when ten tribes broke away from the Temple and the Ark of the Covenant.
Death and hard labour makes man fruitful
GENESIS 35:16 And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.
Bethlehem Ephratah.
Ephrath means “fruitful”. Bethlehem is a fruitful town that, though small, will bring forth Messiah.
In addition, Rachel’s hard labour and death were a symbol of the 144000 Jews who will meet Christ in great Tribulation and are then killed. But that is their open Door to Eternal Life. The Seed of God’s Word brings forth life when it dies, like any other seed.
For the believer, death is not a disaster as it is a fruitful experience when we learn to die to self.
GENESIS 35:17 And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
Great Tribulation is a hard time but that is what it takes to save the stubborn Jews who have rejected Jesus for 2000 years.
GENESIS 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.
Benoni means “Son of my Pain”. From the human point of view, we see hardship and sorrow as something bad. Two-thirds of the Jews will die in the 3½ years of great Tribulation. The 144000 Jews will accept the Lord Jesus and be killed.
ZECHARIAH 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
Benjamin means the “Son of my right Hand or power”. A special place of honour.
After the hard time and pain comes the reward from God. A mother forgets her pain when she holds her newborn child. The 144000 will forget the horror of great Tribulation when they are with the Lord in the Millennium or 1000 years of peace.
Great Tribulation is the time when the Jews turn back to God. Then they will rule the other nations in the Millennium.
MICAH 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
This Man, the Prince of Peace, will raise up the church to protect it from the attacks of Satan who is the prince of this world and rules the political parties and leaders. Seven shepherds are the seven church-age messengers who guide the church during each church age.
The eight principal men are the eight authors of the New Testament. We have to agree with everything that they wrote. They are the principal men who established the truth. We dare not argue with what they wrote.
Three men represented the Trinity that kills truth
These 3 men died to symbolize how the Trinity brings death.
Bethlehem in Judah was at the centre of God’s Will and Elimelech with his two sons formed a “trinity of men” that moved away from God’s will.
The Trinity is a nameless God of three male Persons that will bring in the pale horse rider of Death during great Tribulation in Revelation Chapter 6.
So, these three men left God’s Will and were thus doomed to die. This is the fate of those who forsake God’s Plan. They thought they could save their lives by leaving God’s Promised Land. But they were heading for death.
Prominent Christians who opposed the anti-coronavirus vaccine in 2020 and 2021 were themselves killed by the COVID-19 coronavirus because God gave medical researchers the wisdom to combat the deadly virus with a vaccine. By opposing the vaccine, these Christians opposed God's Will and caused the virus to spread among the unvaccinated. Variants of the virus developed amongst the unvaccinated who became very sick. God had intended the vaccine to control the virus and save lives. By preaching against the vaccine, these Christians made it harder for God to control the virus. Thus their lives were cut short. Death results when people move out of God's Will.
Trinitarians think they will be saved from the horrors of oncoming great Tribulation by muttering, “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost”. But they will die there because they forsook God’s name. The Trinity has no name. You cannot find one name for three People.
The spiritual issues between God and Satan are broader and there is much more going on than is perceived from a limited human perspective.
Thus we have to learn to wait on God, not try to tell God what to do.
RUTH 1:2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.
Leaving the Promised Land, no matter how bad it was, to sojourn over in another land, brought trouble.
Naomi means pleasant. Elimelech means worship.
Mahlon means sickness. Chilion means sadness.
Pleasant worship was one man and his wife. God and the church.
A second Man in the Godhead introduced spiritual sickness. God became split into Father and Son as two separate Persons.
But there is no "God the Father" in the Old Testament and no "God the Son" in the Bible.
Jehovah is the name of the Father in the Old Testament but Jehovah is never mentioned in the New Testament.
“Father and Son are of the same substance” is unscriptural.
“Father and Son are of the same essence” is unscriptural. Whatever do they mean by “essence”? That comes from Greek philosophy.
“One-God-in-two-Persons” is unscriptural. That also comes from Greek philosophy.
All these unscriptural statements can only make us spiritually sick.
Adding unscriptural words like “Trinity” and "Eternal Sonship" to the Bible is unhealthy and sickens our spiritual health because they do not draw their faith from the Bible.
DEUTERONOMY 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you,
Then came a "third Person in the Godhead". This is unscriptural and also comes from Greek philosophy.
“God the Holy Ghost” is unscriptural.
The Holy Ghost has got no name in the Bible.
Then comes the real sadness that the Trinity God loses His name.
By turning God into a Trinity God, we diminish Him as He becomes a nameless God.
DEUTERONOMY 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you,
neither shall ye diminish ought from it,
that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Churches reject Acts 2:38 as a mistake because it contradicts the Trinity. Rejecting a Scripture is a very serious mistake.
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Sadness that we do not know the name of "the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost".
Thus, we do not know the name of God.
Sadness that we must reject Acts 2:38 and never obey it
Sadness that Peter is claimed to have made this big mistake.
Sadness that the churches will not let us obey this simple instruction.
Sadness that we must now look for mistakes and faults in the King James Bible.
RUTH 1:3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.
The first person of this human trinity died.
God the Father is unscripturally claimed to be the "First Person of the Trinity".
"God the Father" dies out of our salvation if there is a Trinity of three separate Persons.
Water baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
ROMANS 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death,
we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
But "God the Father" never died and was never buried.
So, the water baptism does not refer to "God the Father" in any way.
Thus, water baptism “in the name of the Father” has no meaning.
In addition, "God the Father" has no name in the New Testament.
The churches break up God into 3 Persons and the First Person, the Father, has no name.
REVELATION 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Repentance depends on the Blood shed by the Son. "God the Father" never died and never shed blood.
JOHN 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
The Son died for us, not the Father. Thus, the Son has a greater love for us than the Father.
The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth, not "God the Father".
JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
The Son will judge us, not the Father.
The Son bought our salvation by His sacrifice and loves us most. He will also judge us.
The Holy Spirit inspires us in order to understand the truth of Scripture.
The Trinity of 3 Persons thus makes the Father rather irrelevant to salvation.
Trinity is an unscriptural word that stops us from realizing that Jesus Christ is Almighty God.
We need to get back to that belief of the first church in the same way that Naomi needed to take Ruth back to the Promised Land.
JOHN 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
God the Father is not the Judge. Remember this when you read Daniel Chapter 7 about the Ancient of Days Who is the Judge.
Ten is a number that can represent the end time
RUTH 1:4 And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.
Ten years symbolize the ten virgins of Matthew Chapter 25 who symbolize the Gentile churches at the end, just before the Coming of the Lord.
The wise virgins represent the true Bride of Christ, symbolized by Ruth the Moabitess, who was not a Jew.
“Ruth” means “mercy”. The word “ruthless” means “without mercy”.
The Bride is totally dependent on the mercy of Jesus. We will achieve nothing without His help.
The foolish virgins represent the saved churches, symbolized by Orpah. Orpah means “neck”. She never made it to the head, which is Christ.
Christ is the Word and the foolish virgins never regard the King James Version of the Bible as being their Head, their Absolute truth. They are very keen to find faults in the King James Version.
This reminds one of the corpse of John the Baptist when he was beheaded. He represented the Jewish nation that was waiting for its Head, the Messiah. But they rejected the Head.
The Jews could only see so far, but they were unable to see far enough.
The foolish virgins have the same problem. They can see enough to get saved from hell, which is good, but not far enough to understand the revealed mysteries of the Bible that expose the errors of the modern churches. Thus, they are unable to avoid these errors and cannot escape the fast-approaching horror of great Tribulation.
The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic closed down the churches in 2020. That was God showing us His opinion of the churches. Only fit to be closed down. Something is very wrong.
Ten also refers to the ten horns on the pagan Roman beast that resurrected back to life over the grave of the pagan Roman Empire as the woman or Roman Catholic church.
REVELATION 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
The wilderness is where you are alone and isolated. That is the fate of those who discover the truth that the church has been corrupted. Then church-goers will shun them.
Scarlet is the colour of the robes and hats of the Roman Catholic cardinals who run the church. The denominational spirit of Roman Catholicism has eaten up the Protestant churches until these churches have also taken on man-made names to describe themselves. Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, Wesleyan, United Pentecostals, Assemblies of God, etc. Each group is dominated by a headquarters with its man-made rules and doctrines. There are now 45000 different kinds of denominations and churches that are all different yet all are claiming to have the truth.
The ten horns are ten military dictators that will give their military power and strength to the final Pope to enable him to rule the world as the final dictator at the end-time
The beast is symbolic of the succession of Popes who rule the Roman Catholic church as all-powerful dictators.
REVELATION 17:8 … when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
The beast “was”. By claiming Peter as the first Pope, the beast goes all the way back to the beginning of the church.
“And is not”. The Pope dies.
“And yet is”. A new Pope is elected by the cardinals.
Revelation 17:8 has past tense and present tense but no future tense. This tells that there is no future for the Catholic church as it will be destroyed in great Tribulation and at Armageddon.
REVELATION 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
"One hour" means that these dictators rule the world at the end during the 3½ years of great Tribulation.
Power as kings means that they are not crowned kings but have a king’s authority. So, they are dictators.
Thus, the number ten can point to events that happen at the end of church history.
Ten can represent worldliness. Worldliness takes over the church at the end.
Naomi represents the Jewish church of the Old Testament.
All three men died in this territory that was outside the Promised Land. This symbolizes that there is no spiritual life in this Trinity of three separate Men that the Gentile church believes in.
RUTH 1:5 And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.
The Trinity has no name for God. The Holy Ghost has no name.
So, at the end-time, the concept of the Trinity just dies out if you want to be Scriptural and obey Acts 2:38 and have a name for God.
MATTHEW 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Peter taught the answer to what Jesus said.
The name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ.
This doctrine divides the foolish virgins from the wise virgins who form the Bride.
The foolish virgins ignore Acts 2:38 and baptize in three titles, pretending that it is a name.
The Bride realizes that Acts 2:38 explains the mystery of Matthew 28:19. That Jesus Christ is the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
The Son is Emmanuel, God with us. The supernatural Father manifest in the flesh of the Man Jesus.
JOHN 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost mean God above us, with us, and in us.
Most Christians only take the first 3 steps to return
But 4 steps of restoration are actually needed.
All three women made their decision to return to the Promised Land.
The Word revealed by the Spirit is our Promised Land.
In the end time, the Bride has to return back to the beliefs of the first church age.
But there are four steps whereby a person is restored back to the truth of the early church.
Get saved. Live holy. The Holy Ghost baptism. Find your position in the Word of God.
At each of these steps, there are barriers of difficulty that have to be overcome.
At each step, there is the temptation not to proceed any further but just to stay at the place where you have arrived. You can easily convince yourself that you have gone far enough on the journey toward finding God's Will in your life.
But, in His sermon on the mount, Jesus made it clear that we have to keep climbing uphill through the difficulties if we want to see the glorious view that is only visible from the top of the mountain. The view that is only available to high-flying eagles with their famous eyesight symbolizes the fabulous insight made available by the revelation of the mysteries in God's Word.
RUTH 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.
God was blessing the Jews after the famine. Naomi realized that God only blessed the Jews when they were in the Promised Land.
In the difficult time of famine, they looked for an easier life outside of God’s original limits but found only death.
Then Naomi realized that she had to get back into God’s Will.
RUTH 1:7 Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.
Both Ruth (the wise virgins) and Orpah (the foolish virgins) began the journey back to finding God.
After losing the truth in the dirt of the Dark Ages, the church began the journey back to God during the Reformation of Martin Luther.
The first step was justification. Repentance and accepting Jesus as personal Saviour. That saves an individual from hell, which is good. But that is not the end of the journey. Then one has to grow in the Lord. The next step is sanctification. Living holy.
Naomi decided to return to the Promised Land that God had given Abraham at the beginning.
The land where the church must dwell is the Word of God. The Holy Ghost is our Promise.
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
:9 For the PROMISE is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Thus, the end-time church has to get back to the original New Testament beliefs that were established by the apostles.
The Holy Ghost is the Promise as He alone can reveal the truth of Scripture to us. Then we live in God's Bible truth.
JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
RUTH 1:8 And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.
Naomi, the Jewish mother church, advised her daughters-in-law to go back.
Now that Ruth and Orpah had taken the first step to get saved, they were tempted to just stay in their comfortable denomination and go no further.
RUTH 1:9 The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.
RUTH 1:10 And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.
But both Ruth and Orpah are determined to follow a deeper experience of holiness with God after getting saved.
RUTH 1:11 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?
So, they took the second step of holiness and continued with the Christian journey to get back to God’s original Plan with His first church age.
But standards of holiness often persuade saved Christians that following God is too difficult. Many Christians give up on going further with God at this stage of cleaning up their lives.
So, once again Ruth and Orpah are tempted to turn back.
But salvation and holiness are not the end of the journey of faith.
There is a third step that is difficult to achieve as it does not involve works but involves believing the truth of Scripture. This is the Holy Ghost baptism whereby God controls our thinking and gives us spiritual insights into His great Scriptural Plan.
This is a process that involves time.
There is no quick solution as God has to open the eyes of the individual to enable them to understand the mysteries of Scripture.
And we all learn at different rates. Some grasp quickly, others struggle along more slowly.
Understanding the truth requires one to realize that the churches have many mistakes.
This makes one unpopular. A wilderness experience.
Then one has to unlearn the mistakes of the church which will create a rift.
The sad realization is that the church is not a haven of comfortable truth but rather a trap of deception.
Then the difficult process of trying to unlearn modern church errors and re-learn the truth that the original apostles had and which all the modern churches reject and condemn.
Few people have the courage to take that step and face isolation and rejection.
It is not easy to go against the flow by believing the revealed mysteries of the written Word.
Sincere Christians say that the King James Bible has faults and misinterpretations and contradictions. But this Bible is the Word of God as It expresses the thoughts of Jesus. Thus they are criticizing Jesus and His thoughts. A very unwise move.
Hardly anyone says that the King James Bible is the Absolute Truth as the infallible Word of God.
Few people have the courage to take that step that the King James Bible is Perfect.
Plus, when they are on their own they face the serious difficulty of puzzling out the revealed mysteries of the written Word.
Discouragement strikes the believer.
60-1002 THE KINSMAN REDEEMER
"Why would you go with me? Now, you can't do nothing but have trouble." Said, "I'm sorry that the hand of God has stretched out against me."
How many times has Israel thought that? Not knowing that it was all God's program. How the weeping wall's just outside of Jerusalem, still there. The old stones of the temple, they picked them up and made a wall. And they are rubbed slick from tears and crying of Jewish hands crying and begging Jehovah: "Jehovah..." They don't realize that their hour is close at hand now. Weeping walls, these stones once housed in the Ark of the Covenant. King David looked upon these stones. "O Jehovah, where art Thou?" See, not knowing that soon her King will return, her Redeemer...
They had to be cast out for a little season.
The Holy Ghost baptism means that we have to begin to understand the mysteries of Scripture.
This can be a daunting obstacle to one’s search for God’s Will.
Again, at this stage, the temptation is to ignore the search for Bible truth and turn back to the comforts of the church systems with their mixtures of truth and error.
RUTH 1:12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
Naomi, the Jewish church, could not solve their problems. They would be lonely.
Most people cannot follow the truth because they cannot cope with rejection, isolation, and loneliness.
RUTH 1:13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.
The two women (churches) should rather return to the non-Jewish Moabites and find husbands or denominational churches where they can dwell with there. You are saved and living holy, so what difference does it make what church you join?
God was giving them a hard time. Much grief was involved.
So, God makes hardship a pre-condition for the Holy Ghost baptism. This is to test the sincerity of the person. Do they really mean business with God?
Defeat and difficulty are needed to establish a strong character.
Easy success develops arrogance and self-admiration.
RUTH 1:14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
Justification. Sanctification. Holy Ghost baptism.
At this third and most difficult step, because it is in the hands of God alone, Orpah who symbolizes the foolish saved virgin church decided to give up the battle to discover deeper Bible truth.
Being saved and living holy was enough. Actually, just being saved was enough to escape hell.
But getting saved by repentance does not enable you to escape the oncoming 3½ years of great Tribulation. The 45000 different kinds of churches and denominations are obviously riddled with many errors which we have to be able to detect and avoid. The Bible errors that saved Christians believe and the Bible mysteries that saved Christians do not understand will cause them to miss the Coming of the Lord. Then they end up being killed in great Tribulation. They will be saved from hell but they will never be part of the Lord’s Bride and will miss the Wedding Supper and the 1000 years of the Kingdom of Peace on earth.
The fourth step is revealing the mysteries of the Bible
Orpah kissed Naomi goodbye and Orpah is never mentioned in the Bible again.
She obviously made the wrong decision.
The foolish virgins are fooled into not understanding the revealed Bible mysteries.
Thus, they made the wrong decision to stop seeking for the truth of the revealed mysteries.
They preferred to return to the mixture of truth and error that the churches offer.
Unable to be restored back to the original truth of the apostles, they cannot be harvested.
The seed that is harvested has to be identical to the original seed that was planted by the original apostles.
DANIEL 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand;
but the wise shall understand.
Getting an understanding is not an easy process.
Those Christians who do not understand the revealed Bible mysteries cannot claim to be the wise virgins who are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Only the wise virgins go to the Wedding Supper while the foolish virgins find that they are doomed to be killed in great Tribulation.
The real issue today is to escape from the 3½ years of great Tribulation that will soon hit the world with sudden destruction.
I THESSALONIANS 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Violence can hit suddenly and unexpectedly. We saw an example of that when Putin suddenly attacked Ukraine.
RUTH 1:15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
This is the fourth time that Ruth is told to go back.
Justification. Sanctification. Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Finding your position in the Body of Christ.
Ruth is told 4 times to go back to test her persistence.
God kept testing Ruth by getting Naomi to once again tell her to go back.
You will be endlessly discouraged so that you decide to give up the search for deeper Bible truth.
You will notice that none of the churches are worrying about going back to the original beliefs of the apostles so why are you so concerned about doing that? It is easy to give up the struggle and just go with the flow. Like dead fish.
People say, "Do you think that all the churches are wrong, but you are right? What nonsense. Stop being judgemental and become inclusive. Accept people as they are because each person has their own truth".
That is modern-day thinking that is labeled as WOKE.
It is a clever idea that says there is no absolute truth. They claim that you can make up your mind as to what you want God to be. God is then whatever you want Him to be.
And they claim that you can live by whatever standards that you want to live by.
"Your truth" is whatever you want to believe.
REVELATION 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;
God does not write to the church in Laodicea. He writes to the church of the Laodiceans.
In other words, the Laodiceans have made up their own church doctrines. Their own form of worship. They serve God in a way that suits them. They make up their own Bible translations until there are more than 100 English versions of the Bible. Choose the one that suits you or else make a new Bible.
Laodicea means "people's rights". I can serve God in whichever way I choose.
That means, according to them, that there are 8 billion different types of beliefs on earth because each individual has their own point of view.
This is the newest flood of spiritual error to sweep over the earth.
The Body of Christ is a spiritual church that has been built up over 2000 years. In the end, we have to believe what the early church believed at the beginning. The final seed is only harvested when it is identical to the seed that was first planted. So, the Bride must focus on the beginning, the church of the New Testament.
The past is the key to the future.
The foolish virgins go back to the church fathers at the time of the Nicene Council in AD 325 when Trinity was introduced.
The Bride goes back to what the apostles wrote in the New Testament.
This last step will be bitterly rejected and opposed by the church people, the foolish virgins who see no real value in understanding the revealed mysteries of Scripture.
60-1002 THE KINSMAN REDEEMER
And Orpah, a type of the lukewarm church that once started, a type of the church that won't go all the way, she said, "That sounds pretty good." So she kissed her mother-in-law and returned back again. That's a type of the lukewarm believer, who will believe Jesus to be the Christ, and then turn around, and go back into the thing she come out of, to the men that will take the way with the Lord's despised fews, and then turn around and go back, "Like a dog to it's vomit, and a hog to its wallow," as the Bible says.
Now, she returned back to her gods. Many time we return back to the gods of our beginning. Maybe we got eyes of lust after the wrong thing. We'll turn back to lusting again. Maybe we got idols of drinking, idols of smoking, idols of lying, idols of stealing, all kinds of idols; and then profess and be baptized, and then turn again. What a sad thing. You remember, it never spoke her name no more. She was excommunicated because of her decision.
The lukewarm church, the lukewarm believer, as each believer represents the church.
Orpah was not prepared for the intense struggle that it would take to contend for the faith that was once delivered to the first apostolic church age.
JUDE 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that
ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
In order to grow, we will have to struggle.
At this last step Ruth reveals her total commitment
Difficulties make a true believer more determined.
As the difficulties were pointed out to her, Ruth refused to be discouraged and preferred to rise to the challenges.
RUTH 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
The end of her search was to find the God of the Jews.
Ruth symbolizes the Bride of the New Testament who realizes that God's Plan for today will follow the pattern that the Jews (represented by Naomi) laid down in the Old Testament.
God led the Jews on the first exodus out of Egypt until they defeated the tribes of Canaan and lodged in the Promised Land. The Bride must take part in the exodus out of the church systems until they can return to believe in the revealed Word of God that the early church once believed.
Finally, the Jews are God’s people and God will return to them once He has caught up the Bride to Heaven.
But, most importantly, the Bride will believe in the God of the Jews.
"Thy God, my God".
The Jews did not believe in a Trinity.
Ruth following Naomi's God means the Bride has to follow the Jewish God.
The New Testament is the only religion that is based on a previous religion, the Old Testament.
The Jehovah of the Old Testament became the Jesus of the New Testament.
That is why the name Jehovah is never mentioned in the New Testament.
Death and burial are represented by water baptism.
The Jews were baptized unto Moses in the Red Sea.
I CORINTHIANS 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
Moses is a name. Pharaoh is a title.
The Jews went into the opened-up Red Sea waters in the name of Moses and they lived. Their water baptism in a name led them to life.
The Egyptians went into the opened up Red Sea waters in the title of Pharoah. They died. Their water baptism in a title led them to death.
The Bride must go through the water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
The titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost cannot lead to life. Water baptism must be in a name. The foolish virgin churches failed because they never understood what the name of Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is.
The churches cannot find a name for God the Father in the New Testament.
Today's churches cannot find a name for the Christian God. There is no one name for three Persons.
Thus they have not found the God of the Jews.
RUTH 1:17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
We must die and be buried in the name of Jesus Christ as He is the Jehovah God of the Old Testament Who was manifest in the flesh.
RUTH 1:18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.
Ruth had to be steadfast.
She portrayed that her Old Testament life was the shadow or outline of the New Testament Plan of God for His Bride.
The Bride has to believe in the Old Testament that would become fulfilled in the New Testament. The Bride has to believe that both Old and New Testaments are the perfect and absolute Truth.
No Bride member can ever criticize any verse in the Bible as it is all God's Word.
Jesus is the Word of God.
So if you criticize the Bible in any way then you are criticizing Jesus. That is definitely not wise as it disqualifies you from being part of the wise virgins.
Ruth never questioned the God of Naomi.
RUTH 1:19 So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?
Naomi (symbolizing the Jews) brought Ruth (symbolizing the church) back to Bethlehem which is where Naomi had begun her journey.
The exodus of the Bride (Ruth) out of the land of Moab, has to go back to the beginning where it all started (the first church age).
RUTH 1:20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.
Mara means bitter.
During the 2000 year journey of the Gentile church, the Jews have had a bitter experience of death, persecution, and rejection. This culminated in the awful Holocaust when 6 million Jews were murdered by Hitler during the Second World War.
RUTH 1:21 I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?
The Jews (Naomi) and the Bride or true church (Ruth) will both come together at the end.
The Bride will return to the Bible beliefs of the early church. The Lord will come for His Bride. Then those Bible truths will be revealed to the 144000 Jews during the time of great Tribulation.
At that end-time, both Bride and Jews will be believing the same.
RUTH 1:22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.
The Jews will finally come back to the Messiah that they rejected 2000 years ago.
The Gentile Bride must finally move out of the Gentile church systems so that they can return back to the beginning, the original beliefs of the apostles.
This will happen at the time of the harvest.
Harvest is when the seed is pulled off the dead plant. So, the church systems must die in their man-made unscriptural errors.
Then comes the Archangel of Revelation Chapter 10 to perform the resurrection. He pulls the dead Bride from the 7 church ages out of their graves.
The 7 Thunders reveal to the living Bride how to change their bodies into immortal bodies.
Then the entire Bride gets pulled off the earth to meet the Lord in the air.
We cannot be raptured in this body so the 7 Thunders have to show us how to change these bodies so that we can jump over the wall between time and eternity. That will be a huge demonstration of supernatural power.
62-1230 IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END SIR
And when the mystery is finished, the Angel said, "Time shall be no more," and Seven Thunders throwed their voices out.
What if it is something to let us know how to enter into the Rapturing Faith?
Is it? Will we run, leap over walls? And is there something fixing to happen, and these old, marred, vile bodies are going to be changed?
II SAMUEL 22:30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
The troopof death, all those who have to die.
At the Rapture the Bride will run through the troop of death as they will not have to die and they will simply jump over the wall of time into eternity in their immortal bodies.
Meanwhile, the 7 Thunders have also given supernatural power to the two prophets Moses and Elijah so that they can start to pull the 144000 Jews out of their Jewish bondage and present them to Christ.
At the end of the church ages, the seven Thunders will utter their great supernatural power to change our bodies and rapture the Bride. They will also utter in order to give great supernatural power to the two Jewish prophets who will have amazing power over nature.
62-1230 IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END SIR
Is that really them Seven Thunders, fixing to utter out something, that the little group that is gathered together will receive a Rapturing Faith, to go in the Rapture when He comes?
You can only be raptured in your new body. So the seven Thunders will have such power that they will enable us to receive changed bodies.
63-0321 THE.FOURTH.SEAL
Wait till them seven thunders utter their voices to that group who really can take the Word of God and hand it there. It'll slice and cut. And they can close the heavens; they can shut this or do that, whatever they want to. Glory.
He will be slayed by the Word that proceeds from His mouth; it's sharper than a two-edged sword. They could call for a hundred billion tons of flies if they wanted to. Amen. Whatever they say's going to happen, because it's the Word of God coming from the mouth of God. Amen.
The seven Thunders also utter to the two Jewish prophets to give them fantastic power over nature.
Elijah will call for a drought.
Elias is the Greek for Elijah.
JAMES 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Moses will call for plagues like he did in Egypt.
