Public includes the Bride

The Bride is part of the public that hears brother Branham preach.

The Seventh Seal refers to the Coming of the Lord which is the biggest secret and mystery that nobody knows.

63-0324E  THE  SEVENTH  SEAL

“You know when we compared the Scripture here with Matthew 24 with the six Seals, the Seventh Seal was left out; because,

Christ said only God Himself knowed, not even the Angels.

No wonder, it wasn't even written. You see, they hushed; nothing take place then.

Angels don't know it; nobody knows when He's coming. But there will be seven voices of these thunders that will reveal the great revelation at that time.

…….. Here now, we find that the Sixth Seal has been opened to us; we see it, and we know that this Seventh Seal cannot be broke to the public until that hour arrives”.

Message pastors who follow William Branham emphasize that only the outside public does not know the Seventh Seal. They claim that the Bride knows the Seventh Seal. This is a dangerous mistake.

“Angels don’t know it”. Brother Branham is the seventh angel so he also did not know it.

“Nobody knows when He is Coming”.  That clearly means that the Bride does not know it.

1964-0719   THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS

“The Seventh Seal hasn't opened yet, you know. That's His Coming”.

If the 7^th Seal has not opened then the Bride cannot understand the 7^th Seal.

“Not even the Angels” know when He is Coming. So, brother Branham, as the seventh angel also cannot know.

Brother Branham said that nobody knows when Jesus is Coming, which is what the Seventh Seal is about.

63-1110  SOULS  THAT  ARE  IN  PRISON  NOW

“Remember, the Seven Seals was finished, and when those seven revealed Truths...

One of them, He wouldn't permit us to know.

How many was here at the Seven Seals, and heard?  All of you, I guess. See,

the Seventh Seal, He wouldn't permit it”.

Here brother Branham says that God would not permit “us” to know. We are the Bride. So, the Bride does not know.

A big mistake is to not realize that the word “public” can refer to the Bride.

63-0324E  THE  SEVENTH  SEAL

“Nobody knows when He's coming.

… If we don't know it, and it won't be knowed till that time,

but it will be revealed in that day, in the hour that it's supposed to be revealed in.

... Now, that is this Seventh Seal. It's still is a notable thing. And we are...

We don't know what it is as yet,

because it's not permitted to be broken”.

Brother Branham says the “public” does not know.   "We” do not know. God would not permit “us” to know. “Nobody” knows. “Angels” do not know.

The public can obviously mean outsiders. But the way brother Branham has used “we” and “us” is just the same as the way he used “public”.

So “public” here just means spoken aloud to a congregation of people.

The final conclusion is that “nobody knows”, neither the Bride nor any other member of the public.

65-0725  THE ANOINTED ONES AT THE END TIME

"In the very day that the Son of man is revealed." Revelations 10:1 to 7, read it when you get home, "the seventh angel's Message, opening up the Seals." “What is it?

Not the angel is the Son of man; but the messenger is revealing the Son of man.

Can you get it separated now? That's where it seems to be so hard for you, you see. Not the Son of man, Himself; but the seventh angel,

the seventh messenger, is revealing to the public the Son of man,

because It's left the shuck. He can't organize It. It's the Grain, Itself, again”.

The Son of man is Jesus as He is revealed in the Word.

The seventh angel is not the Son of man.

Brother Branham revealed the Son of man to us. So, we are the public.

Unbelievers could watch the discernment of thought but they could not catch the revelation of Scripture. Only the Bride realized the revelation of the end-time prophet revealing people’s thoughts and revealing the mysteries of the Bible.

63-0115  ACCEPTING GOD'S PROVIDED WAY AT THE END TIME

“Just like Jesus did when He was here on earth. He made Hisself known to the public that that was the Messianic sign”

Those who recognized the sign of Messiah, the discernment of thoughts, were the public. They were also the Bride for their day. The rest rejected Jesus.

64-0614M  THE UNVEILING OF GOD

“And, now, I wish that they would hold the tape, Brother Sothmann and them, before selling it, if possible, and I'd like to listen to it before we... before it goes out to the public”.

Again, he uses the word “public” to mean the believers who buy the tapes. Very few unbelievers would buy the tapes.

63-0323  THE SIXTH SEAL

“And now, Father, I pray that all that will receive You at this time in their hearts will settle it forever at this hour that they're finished with sin, that will arise and make preparations

now for public confession of baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ,

for the remission of their sins, to show that they believe that God has forgiven them, and they take on the Name of Jesus Christ”.

Baptism is usually done in the presence of believers, who are the public witnesses.

63-0324  THE SEVENTH SEAL

“And he said, "I tell you," he said, "there never was such a time, hardly, that you ever seen such harmony amongst men when they all worked together." Brother Wood, Brother Roberson, and everybody just placing their places--everything. And the brother who put the acoustic, the—

I mean the public addressing outfit

and everything in the church...”

He calls the loudspeaker system in the tabernacle, a public address system. But it was mainly believers who were present in the Branham tabernacle.

“And on the road, coming in the other day, He stopped me. And I seen what I was coming to. I'm on my road to something else now. And I thought, when I got home, I'd make what we call a heart-to-heart talk, maybe put it on tape, and then and

so that the public would see why the sudden change”.

Here, he refers to the people who attend his meetings as the public who would want to know about his changes in his plans.

So, at times, he refers to a meeting of believers as the public because he is speaking openly to everyone in a meeting.

Thus, the Bride is part of the public that hears him preach.
