People elevate brother Branham as the Voice of God

If he is the Voice of God then he cannot make mistakes and we cannot check him.

We will consider some of the mistakes he did make which obviously proves that he is not the Voice of God.

His Scriptural position is to be the voice of the seventh angel.

GALATIANS 1:8    But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Paul said we must even check angels to make sure that they do not say anything different to Paul.

Now this last day prophet-messenger will have such power before the Lord that there will be those who mistake him for the Lord Jesus.

Never listen to anyone who even suggests that William Branham could be Jesus Christ. This thought is just very dangerously wrong.

Brother Branham, a sister came to the Tabernacle some eight hundred miles, and she said she believed you are Jesus Christ incarnate. Please speak on this. She was very impatient in trying to tell others what she thinks.

All right. Now, 'course the sister was wrong.

I am not Jesus Christ;

I am His servant. We've went through that so many times.

62-1007 THE  KEY  TO  THE  DOOR
That, they claim in here that some brethren up there that said that I sent them up there, and they're preaching that men should leave their wives and hunt for their spiritual mate,

and that I am perfectly infallible. That there's nothing... And, oh, some of the awfullest things you ever heard.

If you think brother Branham is infallible, that is about the most awful thing you can say about him. He will condemn you for believing that.

As the communists deviated away from Lenin’s teachings, they compensated by glorifying and exalting him. This is typical of human nature.

As “message believers” move away from proving brother Branham’s quotes from Scripture, so they exalt him to the deity.

They claim that he is infallible (which makes him another Pope) and that all his quotes are absolute truth.

You cannot correct him, they insist.

(He always welcomed correction). They claim that absolute truth comes from his quotes as he is no longer the “voice of the seventh angel” but he has been promoted to the “Voice of God”. This status elevates him to the level of Jesus Christ. However, nowhere in the New Testament are we promised the Voice of God in our day. This is unscriptural.

Message preachers can now splice any quotes together and interpret them without any need to be Scriptural. Being lazy, they can now study quotes without having to study the Bible (which is hard work).

Message believers are almost proud of their ignorance of the Bible, but they can parrot quotes and they can elevate William Branham. The Bible never speaks of parrots.

61-0611  REVELATION  CHAPTER  FIVE  1

And the other day in Canada a brother showed me a little ticket of a thing he's packed in his pocket, said

"William Branham is our Lord," baptizing in the name of William Branham.

........saying that I was Christ.

Brethren, that is a horrible, disgraceful, ungodly lie of the Devil!

See? See, I am your brother. Now, that would run any person from the field.

That would make anyone that loves Christ run from the very thing.

[ If we love Jesus we must flee from this elevation of a man ]

........ A few nights ago, to make it sure, I had a visitation from the Lord. And I seen a precious one's... a babying... a serpent which was yellow and black, and telling me right along, and the thing struck me on the leg. But the blood was so rich it didn't take effect on me. And I looked down, and there's where I had been bit before. And I turned quickly with a gun and shot the thing, and it hit it right in the middle of the thing.

And a brother said... I turned with my gun to shoot its head off, and he said, "Don't do that, just pick up the stick laying there by you." And when I turned my back to pick up the stick, it wiggled into some water, just a small puddle of water.

The elevation of William Branham is simply a manifestation of the serpent from the garden of Eden. If we fall for that, we are no better than serpent seed.

“A small puddle of water". This is how preachers become puddle pirates. Doctrines that are based on the interpretation of a collection of some quotes.

Doctrines that cannot be proven from Scripture as the Bible is the River of Life. Thus any true doctrine will run through the Bible.

If you think his quotes are equal to Scripture, then you make him equal to our Lord Jesus.

He called that a horrible, disgraceful lie. He wanted to shoot the idea dead. But it slipped away into a puddle of quotes and has reappeared as the numerous varieties of message doctrines that are not proven, and cannot be proven, by linking Scripture to Scripture.

We must check what a prophet says

So we'll know, to prove this, back and forth, by the Word; not by some man's idea, some theory.
I don't care who he is; any other man, myself or anybody else, "If he speaks not according to the law and the prophets, there is no Light in him." See? That's what the Bible said. "Let every man's word be a lie, and Mine be true," regardless who it is.

He never placed himself above Scripture. He never claimed that he could not be corrected. He said all preachers, including himself, can only say what is written in the Bible.

In the Old Testament, before a prophet's word could be made manifest, it had to be examined and proved. They wasn't loose with it, like we are today.

He insisted that we must examine his statements and prove them from Scripture.

Get back to the Word!

It is not you that really tries the apostle, and prophet and teacher, IT IS THE WORD THAT TRIES THEM.

One of these days there is going to come a prophet to the Laodicean Church Age and you will know if he is the real one sent from God or not. Yes you will, for if he is of God HE WILL BE IN THAT WORD EXACTLY AS GOD GAVE IT TO PAUL. HE WON'T DEVIATE FROM THAT WORD FOR A MOMENT, NOT BY ONE IOTA.

It is not the person who corrects the prophet.  It is the Scripture that corrects him.

He has to say just what saint Paul said.

George Whitefield the great evangelist friend of John Wesley wrote,

"If we once get above our Bibles, and cease making the written Word of God sole rule both as to faith and practice, we shall soon lie open to all manner of delusion, and be in great danger of making shipwreck of faith and a good conscience. Our blessed Lord, though He had the Spirit of God without measure, yet always was governed by, and fought the devil with, 'It is written”.

It is essential to correct certain statements that brother Branham made that were very wrong.

Truth is not spread by repeating an error.

4 obvious errors on one page in Serpent Seed study

Consider a couple of paragraphs near the beginning of the Serpent's Seed sermon.

58-0928E  THE  SERPENT'S  SEED

After the death of the apostles, there what come the Nicene fathers, and they went on for several years (three hundred and twenty-five years) finally came to Nicaea, France, where they had the great Nicene Council. And in there they formed these dogmas that the Catholic church has now, and also that's handed down to the Protestants.

And as I said it in the teaching this morning, each one of those church ages on up to that Thessalonica church age, the fifteen hundred years of dark ages, there was not one time but what He said, "You still have My name." And on this other side, they wasn't in Christ any more that come out in a denominational name: Catholic, Luther, Wesley, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, on down. But just before the closing of the age He said, "I've set before you an open door." See? And that's the age that we believe we are in right now, the open door age, between the last going out of the Laodicean church.

And it's exactly three hundred and twenty-five years to the Laodicean council.

There are four serious factual mistakes in this brief passage. Trying to defend them would involve us telling lies.

Nicaea is not in France, it is in Asia Minor, just below Constantinople. Today’s Istanbul.

There was no Thessalonica church age. There was a Thyatira church age from about AD 606 to about AD 1520, called the Dark Ages.

These Dark Ages lasted about 900 years. They finished around the year AD 1500. If the Dark Ages lasted 1500 years, then Jesus would also have been in the Dark Ages.

There was no Laodicean Council in 325 AD. It was the Nicaean Council.

The Laodicean Council met from AD 363 – 364 and decided to leave the Book of Revelation out of the Bible because it obviously seemed to condemn the Roman church that had its headquarters in the Lateran Palace and Basilica (big church) that was on one of the original seven hills of Rome, the Caelian Hill.

So these mistakes need to be corrected and we need to move on.

William Branham was not infallible. Check his quotes against Scripture and history and geography.

This is a warning to us.

Don’t think you have the truth because you are hanging onto a quote. Some quotes are wrong.

63-0731  THERE  IS  ONLY  ONE  WAY  PROVIDED  BY  GOD  FOR  ANYTHING

The church sailed good in God's provided way, to the council at Nicaea, Rome, and there is where they made their fatal mistake.

This quote made people think that Nicaea is in Rome. Nicaea was neither in France nor in Rome. It was just south of today’s Istanbul in Turkey.

What he is trying to say is that Emperor Constantine took control of the church at the Nicaean Council and gave huge political and financial support to the Bishop of Rome to establish him as a loyal leader in Italy when Constantine moved to Constantinople in AD 330

Brother Branham never stood below the 1963 cloud

Now concerning the great Cloud of 1963, we come to the major problem of wrong doctrines that were developed out of totally wrong quotes.

In addition, trying to defend these wrong quotes (out of a misguided sense of loyalty to brother Branham) has driven many people away from his message.

Those preachers who developed doctrines around his quotes of the great Cloud of 1963 now have a lot to answer for.

The doctrines are based on quotes that are simply wrong and this has turned many people into very effective critics of the Message.

People who were taught that brother Branham could not make a mistake simply collapsed and dropped out when they found out that his quotes around the time and place of the Cloud were wrong.

Those who desperately hang onto these quotes, because they have believed them for so long,  now end up believing doctrines that are built on errors.

I don’t think that we can get much further from the truth than that.

63-0623M  STANDING  IN  THE  GAP

And, now, I didn't know at the time, that they were taking pictures of that [Cloud], scientists was, as the Angels lowered themselves from Heaven, to bring the Message........

"A mysterious cloud in the sky"? ........

Now here It is, the same time I was there. See the pyramid of the Cloud? I was standing just below this.

He thought he was standing below the Cloud where he was hunting in the region of Rattlesnake Mesa and Sunset Peak near Tucson city in southern Arizona.

The Cloud had been photographed eight days earlier near Flagstaff city in northern Arizona which is 200 miles north of where he was hunting.

Preachers rushed into a doctrine of the Cloud being the Angels lowering themselves and coming down to see him. This turned into a doctrine that the Cloud was the coming of the Lord. It then morphed into a doctrine that the Cloud was the mighty Angel of Revelation 10 coming down to William Branham to open the mysteries of the Book, the Bible.

When the mighty Angel comes down then the seven Thunders must utter.

So clever preachers invented various different doctrines of what the seven Thunders are and what they uttered.

The seven Thunders will reveal the new Name of the Lord so these clever preachers invented various different new names for Jesus.

The Message believers, as a result of these differing speculations, thus splintered into various divisions, like the toes of Daniel’s image.

Wrong doctrines are like a virus, they just keep mutating.

In 2020 God unleashed the COVID-19 coronavirus on the world just to show us how dangerous a virus is that can mutate into different variants.

The different variants of the 7 Thunders and the new name and the Cloud prove how dangerous these speculations are.

All because brother Branham said that the Cloud was the seven angels coming down to him. And this was totally wrong. There was no Cloud formed when the seven angels came down to him.

The Cloud was photographed eight days before the angels came to him. They came to him invisibly. No one else saw them come or go from him. Where he stood was 200 miles south of where the Cloud had been seen eight days before.

The Cloud was seen just after sunset. The angels came to him in the morning.

63-0601  COME  FOLLOW  ME

And just as I looked, right there was them Angels just as plain as They could be, setting right there in that picture. See? I looked to see when it was, and it was time, same, about day or two before, or day or two after I was up there. I looked where it was at. "Northeast of Flagstaff, or Prescott, which is below Flagstaff." Well, that's just where we was at, see, just exactly. "Twenty-six miles high."

North east of Flagstaff and Prescott was where the Cloud travelled from west to east. That is not where he was. He was 200 miles south of Flagstaff.

But a more serious contradiction. He admits he was there either a day or two before the Cloud or else a day or two after the Cloud.

He is very vague about the time (understandably after 3 months) but he is admitting that he was not there when the Cloud was photographed.

This contradicts all his statements that he was under the Cloud.

63-0802  PERSEVERANT

It was about eight o'clock at morning. And I had folded my legs. And was, off my overalls, was picking some of them goatheads. And I said, "You know, look at here, isn't that strange!" I said, "This is exactly, and I'm perfectly in the position, northeast of Tucson, and Flagstaff, see, and I be east of Flagstaff, northeast of Tucson."

Sunset Peak was north east of Tucson but south of Flagstaff.

Another interesting fact is that there was not just one cloud, but two. The second cloud is noted in the Life Magazine, and appears in a smaller photograph off to the north-west taken from Winslow.

The city of Winslow was in front of the two moving clouds, and only photographs from in front of the clouds would show both of them. The smaller, fainter cloud caused by the smoke of a rocket explosion is seen behind the bigger Cloud that was caused by angel wings.

Message believers ignore this second cloud which was caused by a rocket explosion at Vandenberg Airforce Base. This smoke cloud traveled from west to east, 20 miles behind the main Cloud. By not describing events accurately, message believers have generated a host of critics who now claim that the main Cloud was caused by the rocket explosion. But these critics cannot explain the two clouds that were briefly seen for 28 minutes, just after sunset on 28 February 1963.

We need a smoke cloud to fulfill Scripture.

ACTS 2:19   And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Water vapour makes rain clouds. Smoke vapour makes smoke clouds.

When you dabble in error you actually make critics who feel justified in rejecting brother Branham’s quotes.

They then dig further and find many contradictions in his life story which further puts them off.

We must just face up to reality. Some quotes are simply wrong.

These must be corrected if we are to discover the truth.

Those who say the prophet cannot be corrected are preachers who have built up doctrines on these wrong Cloud quotes. They cannot defend their views either from Scripture or from the facts. Stay away from them, they are simply dangerous in the defense of their errors.

These same preachers predicted that America would be destroyed in 1977. Their prediction was based on a quote but was wrong.

60-1113  CONDEMNATION  BY  REPRESENTATION

Then I seen the United States as one smoldering, burnt-over place. It will be near the end. (Then I've got in parenthesis: "I predict that this will take place." Now, remember, the Lord ne... That's what the Lord showed, but "I predict this will take place before 1977.") Upon this prediction, I base, because of the onrushing slaught that's coming now, how fast that it was moving, how long it'll take till this nation meets its place.

Then, based on their interpretation of a quote, they predicted that Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 American presidential election. Once again they got it wrong.

60-1113 CONDEMNATION  BY  REPRESENTATION
Then when these women help elect the wrong person, then I seen a great woman rise up in the United States, well-dressed and beautiful, but cruel in heart. She will either guide or lead this nation to ruination. (I've got in parenthesis "perhaps Catholic church.")

A beautiful woman. Hillary is not beautiful.

Well dressed. Hillary usually wears pants.

The message preachers should have known better.

But they continue to intimidate people with their interpretation of quotes. And people love to have it so.

We should be checking our beliefs with the Bible. We need to question ideas before we believe them.

I THESSALONIANS 5:21   Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

ISAIAH 1:18   Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD

JEREMIAH 5:30    A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;

:31     The prophets prophesy falsely [making wrong predictions], and the priests bear rule by their means [splicing and interpreting quotes] ; and my people love to have it so:

63-1110E  HE  THAT  IS  IN  YOU

Now, some sister here, Billy just showed me, was nice enough to go get this Life magazine, this picture, and blow it up, of that of the seven Angels, and have it taken and sent to me. That is the picture. And now if you'll notice here,

as it was leaving, ascending back, when the Angels had brought Their Message,

it was in the form of a pyramid;

Now he claims that the Cloud was formed by the angels as they ascended back into heaven. This contradicts his statement of the angels lowering themselves as the Cloud.

Angels ascending back into the sky cannot be either the coming of the Lord or the coming down of the mighty Angel of Revelation Chapter 10.

But the Cloud never moved up or down. It moved horizontally at 43 kilometers height.

63-0802  PERSEVERANT

And you know, not in that time, I didn't know it; but cameras from all over the country was taking the picture of That, as the white Cloud settled down, went on the Associated Press. I think your Chicago paper packed it, all around. Life magazine packed it. How many has seen it in there, that Mr....  that was it right there, just exactly the way it said it, standing right under It when It come down and formed.

Once again he claims the Cloud formed as the angels came down to him.

But the angels only came down to him eight days after they formed the Cloud.

The Cloud was seen 200 miles north of Sunset peak and moved horizontally from west to east always staying at a height of 43 kilometers. If never came down. It never went up.

63-0628M  O  LORD  JUST  ONCE  MORE

Now science took the picture of It, you seen It, went on Associated Press. They didn't know what It was. There is a Cloud hanging, twenty-six miles high. That's fifteen miles, or twenty, above even where vapor is at. They don't know what it's all going about, and they are trying to investigate It.

And there, right under It, I was standing. And those seven Angels roaring out their voices, of those Seven Seals, standing there.

The angels who formed the Cloud never roared any voices over the city of Flagstaff on 28 February 1963 because there was no one spiritual enough to hear them. Brother Branham was totally unaware of them on that day as he was about 200 miles south in the city of Tucson.

When the angels did come down to him eight days later, no Cloud was photographed. No one saw them come or go.

Thus he never stood under the Cloud.

But this quote developed into one of the many Thunders doctrines, claiming that the seven Thunders are the voices of the seven angels.

But the angels interpreted the written Seals to brother Branham. The Thunders were never written.

63-0324E  THE  SEVENTH  SEAL

... One of the mystery of that Seal, the reason it wasn't revealed,

it was seven thunders that uttered their voices, and there it is perfectly, because nothing knows anything about it; wasn't even written.

After listening to the seven angels brother Branham still knew nothing about the unwritten thunders.

62-1230  IS  THIS  THE  SIGN  OF  THE  END  SIR

Notice Revelations 5:1. Listen at this now.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book written within (the writing was withinside) and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Now, there is writing on the inside of the Book. But, the backside had Seven Seals, on the back of It, that wasn't written in the Book. Now, this is the revelator talking, John. Now, remember, It wasn't written in the Book.

"And in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, all this mystery that's written within should be finished." It should be taken care of, in that day.

Now do you see what I mean? Are you following me?

Then is the time for the seven voices of Revelations 10 to be revealed. When the Book is finished, there is only one thing left, and that's the seven mysterious voices of thunder that was wrote on the backside of the Book, that John was forbidden to write. Let me read it.

The written mysteries are to be revealed in the days of the voice of the seventh angel.

Only after the written mysteries have finished being revealed will the unwritten mysteries of the Thunders be revealed.

So brother Branham’s ministry has got nothing to do with the seven Thunders. He came to reveal the mysteries of the written Book, not the unwritten mysteries.

Those preachers who have guessed and speculated on their different varieties of the seven Thunders are not preaching the Message. They are simply boosting their own egos by trying to appear clever and misleading their gullible and dominated congregations.

Do not be fooled by preachers claiming to know the seven Thunders.

Because they think that they know the seven Thunders, they then have to come up with a new Name for Jesus.

But no man is allowed to know the new name of Jesus.

REVELATION 19:12   His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

If they know the new name, they contradict Scripture. Thus they seem to have lost any fear of God in their love of being recognized as clever.

CHURCH AGE BOOK   PHILADELPHIAN CHURCH AGE

My New Name. When ALL becomes new, then He will take upon Him a new Name and that Name will be the Name of the bride also. What that Name is, none dare conjecture.

Conjecture means to try to puzzle it out. We must not dare to do that.

Brother Branham told us to leave the new Name alone. Those who claim to know the new name are thus not in the message.

If we cannot know the new Name then the seven Thunders cannot have uttered. Then the mighty Angel of Revelation Chapter 10 cannot have come down.

Nowhere does brother Branham say that "The seven thunders have uttered". That is a fake quote.

63-0324E  THE  SEVENTH  SEAL

Notice, there's witnesses of three setting in here, that a week ago (a little over a week ago) I was up way back into the mountains, nearly to Mexico, with two brethren that's setting here, picking cocklebur--or sand burrs off of my trouser leg, and a blast went off that almost, looked like, shook the mountains down.

On the 24 March he says he was hunting just over a week previously. This would be about ten days earlier on 14 March. His memory of the time was poor because the angels came on 8 March.

Thus he is admitting that he was never there on 28 February when the Cloud was photographed.

Memory lapses are common to us all and are no grounds for criticism.

But anyone who says that every quote is true and thus the prophet cannot be corrected is simply completely wrong.

Brother Branham did make mistakes and these mistakes need to be corrected.

62-1125E  THE  COUNTDOWN

Lord Jesus, forgive us of our ways, that maybe we fail somewhere, maybe to get the message just the way it should be. But, Father, I pray that where we have made a mistake, that the great Holy Spirit will take the words, and wind them around, and fix them into the hearts in the correct way, that they might understand that it's preparation time now before the going away of the church.

You must allow God to open your heart to accept that brother Branham can make mistakes, so that God can teach you how to correct the mistakes. If you are convinced that a wrong quote is the truth, then God cannot correct you. We can only be corrected if we first admit that we can be wrong. We can only be saved if we first admit that we are sinners.
REVELATION 3:19    be zealous therefore, and repent.

God says we have a lot to repent about in our church of the Laodiceans. A church age where people make up their own beliefs. That means we have a lot of things wrong.
REVELATION 3:17.... and have need of nothing;

But we say we need nothing. We are in no need of correction. My church has got it all worked out.

God replies

REVELATION 3: 17   and knowest not that thou art ...... blind,

So much for the safety of our church. Our comfortable and complacent holy huddle. We are held in a doctrinal coma. Thinking we know all the mysteries but actually knowing very little about the Bible.

62-0607  PUTTING  ON  THE  WHOLE  ARMOR  OF  GOD

I've often made a little rude mistake. Maybe... I didn't mean to do it, but maybe I said it wrong.

We all do this. We are human. Thus no one is above correction.

He never said that because he was a prophet that he could not be corrected.

62-0601  TAKING  SIDES  WITH  JESUS  

Now, for instance, if one of you brethren would make a mistake and do something is wrong; which, you're subject to do it; I am, too; every one of us.

62-0211  ONENESS

And if my understanding is contrary to God's Word, then my understanding's wrong. It's got to be God's Word. If it isn't, leave it alone, it's not right.

This obsession of trying to prove that every quote is true has unleashed a devastating backlash.

Former believers, having discovered that the Cloud was not photographed either at the time or the place where brother Branham met the angels were so disillusioned by the people who tried to defend these wrong quotes, that they formed an anti-Branham group. They then dug into numerous of his quotes and found many contradictions, especially in his life story. This was potent ammunition that helped to put even more people off the message.

Trying to prove that his mistake concerning the Cloud is correct and thus a basis for doctrine has merely led to the exposure of even more mistakes.

The lesson is twofold.

First,

Elijah’s ministry was to restore us to the original New Testament faith by revealing and finishing the mystery of God who is the Word. This alone was his ministry.

63-0318  THE  FIRST  SEAL

......for this alone, the mysteries of God, is the ministry of the seventh angel

All the other events, be they right or wrong, take attention away from what he actually came to do. His life story, personal experiences, personal opinions, and his political views were never part of his Biblical ministry. The Bible never prophesied that he would perform miracles or predict the future. He came to reveal Scripture. The rest we can leave alone as it is secondary. The incredible supernatural that accompanied him was not the main part of his promised ministry. It was designed to attract attention so that people would listen to him.

Unfortunately, it gives people an excuse to glorify him and his quotes. He should be judged purely in terms of his ability to interpret Bible truths. Elijah ran away from Jezebel and John the Baptist ended up doubting if Jesus was the Messiah. Prophets are human and can make mistakes.

Brother Branham made mistakes. So how are we to judge him?  By his Scriptural ministry. Did he reveal the mystery of the Bible so that we can understand it better and return back to the early church beliefs? The answer to that is a definite yes. All his other mistakes are little more than froth and bubbles because his main mission was to reveal Scripture, even if he got a lot of secondary things wrong.

Secondly,

his complete misunderstanding of the events surrounding the Cloud of 1963 should be a strong warning to us all not to just rely on quotes. He really got his facts wrong by jumping to a wrong conclusion.

A big problem of the “taking quotes to be the truth without checking them” philosophy, appeared in a preface for the printed “Revelation of the Seven Seals” book showing a picture of the Cloud.

The comment that is written says,

“This supernatural Cloud was formed by the wings of seven Angels who had ascended after speaking with brother William Marrion Branham about the opening of the seven Seals”.

But the Cloud was photographed 8 days before the angels came to brother Branham.

This publishing of error, as if it is a fact, can only mislead people because it is based on quotes that were wrong and never checked.

The Cloud was photographed 43 kilometers up in the sky on 28 February 1963.

Brother Branham was caught up to meet the angels, invisibly, on 8 March 1963. No Cloud was visible on that day and no one saw the angels ascending.

Trying to defend an error that is based on quotes that are wrong,  cannot establish truth in any way.

There is no mountain below the supernatural Cloud. So this Cloud was never over Sunset Peak.

But the ground was cut off the next photograph (which was sent around the world) to produce the fake news that the Cloud was the Coming of the Lord and that He had come down on Sunset Peak. This was deliberate manipulation of the evidence which is fraud.

The comment written below the Cloud was the same as in the 7 Seals book.

“This supernatural Cloud was formed by the wings of seven Angels who had ascended after speaking with brother William Marrion Branham about the opening of the seven Seals”.

The Cloud was photographed eight days before that angels spoke to brother Branham. The angels never spoke to brother Branham on the day that they formed the Cloud.

"The opening of the Seals" is very wrong. The Seals only open in Heaven in Revelation Chapter 6 when the Bride is around the throne after being caught up to Heaven.

Brother Branham was commissioned to preach on the Revelation of the Seven Seals.

64-0719   THE  FEAST  OF  THE  TRUMPETS

The Seventh Seal hasn't opened yet, you know. That's His Coming.

If the seventh Seal has not opened then you cannot claim that all Seven Seals have opened.

In addition, the two prophets in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation will open the Sixth Seal.

 It's Moses and Elijah, 'cause there's their ministry re-impersonated again: both men. Oh, my. Do you see it now? See what the Sixth Seal is? It's those prophets.
Now, notice.

Don't let it choke you, but watch what opened that Seal: prophets.

See? Amen. There you are. Oh, we're living in the eagle day, brother, head up among the clouds.

They opened that Sixth Seal. They have power to do it.

Amen. There's your Sixth Seal coming open. See

So the Sixth Seal has not been opened yet either.

Do not be fooled by mistaking the revelation of the Seven Seals for the actual opening of the Seven Seals.

God first reveals the 7 Seals on earth before He actually opens them in Heaven.

AMOS 3:7   Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

One month before he died and brother Branham was still waiting for the clap of Thunder that has to happen first before the Seven Seals can be opened.

Dear God, in this solemn moment, it's going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday, and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.

REVELATION 6:1   And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

There has to be one Thunder before the Seven Seals open.

That single Thunder never happened in the lifetime of brother Bramham.

So it is impossible for the Seven Seals to have opened.

God, help our unbelief. Take it away from us, Lord. We want to receive rapturing grace.

We want to be able when that mysterious thunder thunders out yonder,

and the Church is taken up,

we want to be ready to receive it, Lord. Grant it. Try us, Lord, by Thy Word. Let us look into It, and if we see that we have failed...

We have a revelation of the opening of the Seven Seals.

That is why he often said that the Seven Seals had opened. They had opened in revelation form to reveal an outline of their content, but they had not opened in reality to reveal all their details and motives.

In the last month of his life, he was still waiting for the shout, the message.

The shout was not when he revealed the truth from Scripture.

The shout is when the individual Bride members are able to reveal the truth just from the Bible.

What is missing from all the revelations that people have about the 1963 Cloud?

The fact that there were two clouds.

There has to be a high-altitude smoke cloud from an exploded rocket as well.

ACTS 2:19   And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Water vapour makes a rain cloud. Smoke vapour makes a smoke cloud.

Brother Branham never objected to being corrected

We like to be told, and  then I do appreciate good friendly criticism when someone says, "Now, you made a mistake there. You did something." Then I know I'll try to straighten that up. See? I always admire criticism, don't you? when it's in the right. See if you're doing something wrong and you don't wish to do it that way.

Someone said, "Well, I would've told you, but I..." Well, sure. If you're my brother, you should tell me. I want to know it.

Brother Branham appreciated being corrected.

57-0120E  GOD  KEEPS  HIS  WORD

No matter how realistic it seemed, no matter how well it seemed to be fitted together with the time, if the supernatural Light on the Urim Thummim did not flash, it was rejected because God was not in it.

And I say today... Oh, I want you to hear. Any message, regardless if it's from priest, from preacher, from prophet, from anything else, any man, no matter how spiritual, what his office is, what he has done, if he's raised the dead, if he's healed the sick, if he's the archbishop of Canterbury, if he's the pope of Rome, if he is the head of any great denomination, no matter how spiritual, though he has spoke with tongues, though he danced in the Spirit, though he has preached the Gospel, no matter what he has done, if his message doesn't come out of the Bible, it's wrong. This is God's Urim Thummim.

We have to prove the message from the Bible. A prophet has to speak out of the Bible. Quotes on their own are not good enough. The quotes have to be established in the Bible and run through the Bible.

EPHESIAN  CHURCH  AGE  -  CHURCH  AGE  BOOK  CPT.3

Here it is in Galatians 1:8,

 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have (already) preached unto you, let him be accursed."

 It was the apostles who brought the original Word to the people. That original Word could not change, not even a dot or dash of it. Paul knew it was God Who had spoken to him so he said, "Even if I come and try to give a second revelation, try to make one little change in what I gave originally, let me be accursed."

........But God's Word can't change. The Seed came exactly as revealed. Hallelujah. And see what those false apostles were doing. They came with their own word. Those Ephesians knew that Word as Paul had taught it. They were full of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of Paul's hands. They looked those false apostles in the eye and said, "You are not saying what Paul said. You are, therefore, false." Oh, that sets my heart on fire.

Get back to the Word!

........ In that last age, when there will be many false prophets appearing, watch and see how they keep telling you that if you don't believe them and what they say, you will be lost; but when that LAST DAY PROPHET comes on the scene, if he is truly that prophet, he will be crying out, "Get back to the Word or you are lost."

He won't build on a private revelation or interpretation, but on the Word. Amen, and Amen!

These false apostles are the grievous wolves that Paul spoke of. He said, "Once I am gone they will try to come and claim equal revelation; but their purpose is not to help you, but destroy you."

Acts 20:27-32,

 "For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things (their own word and ideas, not God's) to draw away disciples after them.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

John knew of them, also, for he said in I John 4:1,

 "... many false prophets are (already) gone out into the world."

 That antichrist spirit was already infiltrating the church, and it was doing it by going against the Word. Why here is where it all started. Right here in the first church age.

Already they were denying the Word and setting up their own creeds and philosophies instead of the Word.

That is antichrist, for Jesus is the Word. To be anti-Word is to be anti-Jesus. To be anti-Word is to be antichrist, because the Spirit and the Word are ONE.

If you are anti-Word, you will have to be antichrist.

AND IF IT STARTED IN THE FIRST CHURCH IT WILL HAVE TO GROW UNTIL THE END WHEN IT TAKES OVER.

And that is exactly what you will see as we cover all the ages. It starts out real small in the Ephesian Age and it grows in every age until the anti-Word, antichrist system takes over entirely and the infallibility of the Word is repudiated by the false apostles of the false church.

Brother Branham always backed down if he had said something contrary to Scripture.

He was not afraid of being corrected.

Brother Branham, did you mean to say seven thousand who had not bowed their knee to Baalim, or seven hundred?

Seven thousand, I meant to say. Forgive me for that.......

Many times as I've preached that, I knowed that was seven thousand. I just happened to say seven hundred. I didn't mean just seven hundred, I meant, you...

I just didn't read it out of the Scripture. It just come to my mind while I was talking, and I just said seven hundred instead of seven thousand.

I make them mistakes all the time.

I'm sure a dummy, so you forgive me. See? I didn't mean to do that.

He admits that he makes mistakes and he accepts correction.

LAODICEAN  CHURCH  AGE  -  CHURCH  AGE  BOOK  CHAPTER  9

"Be zealous and repent." Now this false church has zeal; make no mistake about that. Her zeal has literally been that of the Jews,

John 2:17,

 "The zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up."

 But it is a wrong zeal. It is for the house of their own building. It is for their own creeds, dogmas, organizations, their own righteousness. They have put the Word out for their own ideas.

They deposed the Holy Ghost and made men into leaders.

They have put aside Eternal Life as a Person, and make it good works,

or even church conformity rather than good works.

There is no safety in belonging to a church. In Laodicea Jesus stands outside the church. Pastors dominate their churches and supine believers sit timidly in the pews and are scared to stand up against the pastors. They simply conform to what the church does.

It is your personal experience with Jesus Christ and your devotion to believing the Bible that counts, not your conformity to some church and its leader.

And men of that age as even today were making the same mistake.

As the Jews took refuge in the synagogue form of worship, so in the Philadelphian Age they were taking refuge in the church.

It is not joining a church that counts. The life is not in the church. The life is in Christ.

"This is the record that God hath given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son hath not life."

No message church is safe. Jesus stands outside all our church doors and knocks.

Being in a church is no place of safety.

It is your personal experience with Christ and your ability and willingness to stay in His Word.

Make no mistake about it, we have the infallible Word of God today and no man dares take from it or add to it. But we need the same Spirit that gave it, to teach it to us.

He admits that he makes mistakes at times. So why must we be scared to admit that he makes mistakes?

When God made the earth and set it in orbit, I was preaching the other night, Sunday night, how that there's nothing fails. Why, this world turns so perfect till they can tell you exactly when the sun and moon will pass in twenty years from today to the exact minute. I can't tell you by any timepiece we got in the world. It'll lose two or three minutes a month, or gain two or three minutes--the best we got. We can't make nothing that perfect, because there's only one thing perfect; that's God. And God and His Word is the same; so God's Word is perfect.

He said this in 1961, that our best clocks lose or gain two minutes a month. But it is not true. Scientists now measure time very accurately.

England developed the first atomic clock in 1955.

National standards agencies in many countries then began to maintain a network of atomic clocks which are intercompared and kept synchronized to an accuracy of a billionth of a second.

Without this accuracy, we would not have our GPS systems.

FOCS 1, a continuous cold caesium fountain atomic clock in Switzerland, started operating in 2004 at an uncertainty of one second in 30 million years.

Mistakes brother Branham made in the study on Daniel

61-0730M  GABRIEL'S  INSTRUCTIONS  TO  DANIEL

And when the Messiah at the seventy and two weeks  was cut off (not for Himself, for us)-

72 weeks is very wrong. Daniel promised 70 weeks.

.... he saw on Mount Sinai (Glory.) a 144,000 that had not been defiled with women (Jews)--women (churches.) They hadn't joined no organizations, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, and Presbyterian,

but they had been Jews from the beginning, orthodox, and had their temple there worshipping on Mount Sinai. That's the 144,000. That's after this; the Church is done in glory. See?

The 144000 were never on mount Sinai, it was mount Zion, also spelled Sion. So he gets his facts muddled at times. You have to keep checking with the Bible.

REVELATION 14:1

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Brother Branham saw his converts beyond the curtain of time. They were relying on the fact that he was Scriptural, just like the first church.

I said, "I preached the same thing Paul did and the rest of them."

And all those millions of voices screamed out, "We are resting on that." See? That was it. See? Right

Those on the other side were not relying on miracles or life stories. They relied on the fact that brother Branham only taught them what saint Paul taught.

That is all we should rely on, the quotes that he made that enable us to prove our beliefs from the Bible.

The study on Daniel has a number of mistakes

Let us look at one of his sermons and you will see numerous statements that he made that all need correcting. You cannot just believe a statement because he made it.

61-0806  THE  SEVENTIETH  WEEK  OF  DANIEL

From the 6th to the 19th chapter is all Jewish.

........ Anything from Revelations the 3rd chapter on to the 19th has not one thing to do with the church.

This is difficult to comprehend as Chapters  6, 10, 12, 13,  and 17 seem to fit in well with church history.

........    Now, now, Jesus, Messiah, rode into the city of Jerusalem, triumph, on the back of a white mule on Palm Sunday, April the 2nd, A.D. 30. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, A.D. 30.

........ Or when they rejected Christ and killed Him in A.D. 33

Jesus never wrote on a white mule. It was a donkey and her colt.

In this same sermon he has Palm Sunday, which was 4 days before Calvary, in AD 30 and then suddenly the year changes and becomes AD 33.

Can you prove, from Scripture, which of these dates is correct? Or do you just guess one of these dates, based on a quote? That is not the way to establish truth.

........ Seven times sixty-nine is 484 years exactly; it hit it on the nose.

This maths is not correct.   7 x 69  =  483

........ and 434 times 49 makes exactly 483 years. It hit it on the nose exactly to the day, from day to day

This maths is wrong and needs to be corrected.

It is not 434 x 49,   it is obviously   434  +  49  =  483

........ it's exactly thirty days to every year   

He obviously means a month, so the quote must be corrected .

........ Did you notice exactly here just before Mr. Eisenhower went out, the last Protestant of America in the president, which I doubt there'll ever be another one.

He was speaking in the days of the Catholic president Kennedy. He doubted that there would be another Protestant president of America. But there were ten Protestant Presidents until 2021 when Joe Biden, a Catholic, was elected.

So this prediction was wrong. Here he was just giving his opinion. He was sent to reveal Scripture and not to give opinions.

Another opinion of his is that they would not get to the moon.

The Russian Yuri Gagarin and the American Alan Shepard had just been launched into orbit in 1961. Space flights were still at a very primitive level.

Oh, now they're all wanting to make a whole lot of these astronaut cans so they can get into it. And the--the atomic age comes, they're going to bust up the world, they just pull this and all go over on the moon, taking a trip to the moon, and have it all over with, and so they'll just make them another economy on the moon. They ain't going to get there.

I don't believe, with all my heart, they'll ever get there. See?

Neil Armstrong landed on the moon in 1969.

24 Americans flew to the moon and 12 Americans landed on the moon in 6 moon landings.

24 and 12 and 6 represent a sign of the times. There are 6 hours in the morning or afternoon and 12 hours of sunlight or darkness in our 24 hour day.

The only mission that failed to reach the moon (symbolic of the Bride that reflects the sunlight to the earth) was Apollo 13 when an oxygen tank exploded on the side of the rocket.

13 is America's number as it began with 13 colonies on the East Coast. The American Seal has 13 arrows and 13 olive leaves and 13 olive berries. The motto "E Pluribus Unum" has 13 letters. It means Unity in Diversity. There are 13 stars in the Field of Glory cloud and 13 stripes in the flag.

Apollo 13 in 1970 was the 13th year of America in space as their first launch was in 1958. James Lovell, the commander, was the 13th man to fly to the moon. Apollo 8, 10, 11, and 12 had each taken 3 men to the moon. The explosion happened at 13:13 military time which is 13 minutes after 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The date was 13 April. An aluminium stirrer in the liquid oxygen tank had not been changed when the voltage of the rocket had been altered. So it exploded. Aluminium is the 13th element in the Periodic table of elements.

The explosion in the side of the rocket could be symbolic of the explosion in the side of America when an earthquake on the San Andreas fault sinks Los Angeles into the sea. The incoming tidal wave will be frightening. Crippled America will fall under the control of the Catholic Church that will take her to ruin, as the Catholic Church cannot take anyone to the catching up of the Bride at the Second Coming of the Lord.

This explosion in Apollo 13 was also a sign of the times that America will not make it to the end-time Bride as message-preachers corrupted the quotes of brother Branham, instead of proving his quotes from Scripture. Today they preach man-made doctrines that the first church age never preached such as brother Branham being the Voice of God and the Son of man. The New Testament never speaks of the Voice of God.

The first church age was the moon that reflected the sunlight, the genuine church, that we have to aim for. Elevating brother Branham to the Godhead by replacing the written Scripture with his quotes is not going to take us back to the early church. Claiming brother Branham to be infallible is just a Catholic doctrine of the infallible Pope, dressed in Protestant robes. We await the explosion in the side of America. We cannot say that we have not been warned.

God started the church the way He wanted it.

Now he wants the church the way He started it.

MATTHEW 24:7   For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

In the last century, we saw many wars while man-made famines killed 70 million people because leaders stole the food to buy machinery and weapons. In 2020 a dangerous COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic struck the earth as a pestilence.

All this is setting the stage for the earthquake which will wake up the saved sleeping virgins (clean women) in the churches who then realize that they have to go out of their churches to meet the Lord. That means that all our churches are inadequate to prepare us for the Coming of the Lord.

God never set up a New Testament church with a Pastor as its head. We have the wrong church structure.

MATTHEW 25:5   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

:6   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Then a great earthquake starts the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.
REVELATION 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Brother Branham claimed that 666 (VICARIVS FILII DEI) is written on the Pope's throne.

There is no historical evidence of this.

.........And the numbers of the beast is 666 wrote out in the--in the Latin--Roman alphabet is 666 is Vicarius Filii Dei, which is "Instead of the Son of God," on the pope's throne.

There is no proof of this anywhere. Search the world wide web or internet. 

Where is there evidence of  666 on any throne of the Pope? There is none.

Brother Branham miscalculates to get 1977  and nobody checks him.

........ A striking statement: From the time God made the promise to Abraham (Don't miss this.)--from the time God made the promise to Abraham, Genesis 12:3, to the time of Christ being rejected in A.D. 33, by the Jews, according to Galatians 3:16 and 17, and according to Usher's (U-s-h-e-r-s) Usher's Chronology of the Hebrews, the power of God was with the Jews exactly 1954 years.

God dealt with the Jews 1954 years

according to the chronology of the Jews and according to Galatians 3:16 and 17. I got many more Scriptures, but just give that. Then after they rejected Christ, He turned to the Gentiles to take a people for His Name. You want a Scripture on that, the place? Acts 15:14.

Now, counting the time, we find that we have exactly (Listen.) seventeen years left, and we will have the same span of time given to us as God dealing with us in the power of the Holy Spirit

since A.D. 33 until 1977, the same span of time of 1954 years.

God deals with us the same as He did with the Jews. See? How about that?

This calculation made him predict 1977 as the end of America which was wrong. This was just his opinion. There was no Scripture to back it up.

But notice the wrong maths.   33  +  1954  =  1987.

So 1977 never was a valid calculation.

When this mistake was pointed out to the zealots who were predicting the end of America in 1977, they just ignored this miscalculation because they wanted something dramatic to make themselves sound important. So nothing happened in 1977 or in 1987. These same zealots claimed that Hillary Clinton would be president in 2016. They got it wrong again. But they remain in charge of the message churches.

God was still trying to warn us. Do not just rely on quotes. Prove it from Scripture.

But message preachers are not listening. They have developed too many unscriptural doctrines based on quotes. Even when the quotes concerning the Cloud are very wrong.

Now, these preachers depend on the tithes money so they cannot change their story as that will affect their income.

Noah was a type that was carried over like the sleeping virgin. But Enoch was translated just before the tribulation struck. And Enoch was took up, and was found not, because God took him: the type of the going forth of the church. And Noah watched him. When he seen Enoch go, he knew it was time to enter the ark, for to be carried through the tribulation.

There was Noah and Enoch preaching at the same time.

Somehow brother Branham got an obsession that Noah and Enoch were on earth together.

But Enoch was translated 69 years before Noah was born and 669 years before the Flood happened. Thus Noah never saw Enoch.

62-0531  THE  CONFLICT  BETWEEN  GOD  AND  SATAN

All that was following Noah believed Noah. That's right. They had to make their choice, to believe what the world said, or believe what this mighty anointed prophet said.

So he said, "Now watch. Enoch is going to leave, one of these days, church. And when it does, when Enoch goes away, we better get in. We're going to miss Enoch. He's going to be taken up. So, we better get in." So, they watched closely as the days passed by.

You know, Noah watched Enoch, for when Enoch come up missing, he knowed judgment was at hand.

Then, to make it worse, he said that Noah was Enoch’s grandson.

The Bible list is Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah.   Noah was the great-grandson of Enoch.

Noah was grandson to Enoch.

People were so impressed with brother Branham’s incredible supernatural ministry that they did not check his statements nor attempt to correct them.

So the error just continued because no one cared to bring this matter to his attention. Or maybe they were too scared to correct him.

Just like Noah kept watching Enoch. When Enoch went, Noah said, "Better get close to the ark".

And watch, then here comes your giants. Then Cain went to the land of Nod. If his daddy was a great big giant of a fellow, what would Cain be like?

Here he says the serpent was the father of Cain.

"Cain, you knowed it wasn't... Where did I take some fig leaves like your daddy tried to do? You got a bunch of figs or grapes or apples or whatever you got here. And now your daddy took the leaves off the tree, to try to make an atonement, and here you try to bring the fruit off the tree." It wasn't that! It was blood from life.

Here he says Adam was the father of Cain because it was Adam who made the apron of fig leaves.

Message believers take his last statement on a topic, when he has made different statements, as being correct. This makes a lot of sense but unfortunately, his last statement about Cain’s daddy is the one that he got wrong.

There is no quick fix or easy way out. Each mistake has to be corrected by Scripture.

Here is another example of the correct statement (a three and a half year Tribulation) coming first and then a later statement claiming a Tribulation that is longer than three and a half years.

ANSWER:   Well, brother or sister, it's hard for me to understand it, myself. But only thing I can say is this: that the marriage supper comes before the Millennium.

Now, see, somebody, I know somewhere in here has got a question on that, that said, "Brother Branham, you're wrong on the seventy weeks of Daniel. There will still be seventy weeks." No, the Messiah was to come and prophesy, and in the midst of the seventy weeks, seventy of weeks, which is seven years, He was to be cut off from among the living and made a sacrifice. How many remembers that? All right.

How many years then did Jesus preach, the Messiah? Three and a half. Then there's still 3 1/2 determined.

And in Revelations the 11th chapter,

these two prophets, they prophesy one thousand two hundred and three score days.

Three and one half years still promised to Israel when the Gentile Bride is gone.

How many understands that now? See? All right, all right.

The Bride, when she's taken from the church, then the church age will cease.

Laodicea goes into chaos; the Bride goes to glory;

and the tribulation period sets in upon the sleeping virgin for three and a half years while Israel is getting its prophecy; then tribulation sets in upon Israel;

This implies that the Tribulation is longer than three and a half years.

You have to take his quotes and run them through the Scripture. That is the only way to determine truth.

My mission, I believe, that God has called me for. I have to say some personal things today, because that's what I told you I'd do, see, and tell the world.

My mission, I believe, to the earth, is (what?) is to forerun the coming Word, see, the coming Word which is Christ.

Again, brother Branham puts the emphasis of his ministry on revealing the Scripture which will return us to the beliefs of the New Testament church.

That is exactly what the Bible says about him.

REVELATION 10:7    But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

MATTHEW 17:11   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

He must reveal Scripture and not his personal opinion

We must not be persuaded by brother Branham's opinions on different issues. Only by his unfolding of the Scriptures.

The complex and emotional issue of mixed marriages is an example. Brother Branham was not in favour of intermarriage between different race groups

The people would be better off if you'd just let them the way they are, the way God made them. Let the brown race marry the brown race, the white race marry the white race, the dark race, the yellow race and whatevermore, stay the way God made them. If a violet... God made it and it was white, let it remain white. If it's blue, black, brown, whatever the flower is, let it alone. If corn was raised a certain way, yellow corn, don't mix with white corn. If you do, you mix it up, then it can't breed itself back again.

If a mule was--or a jack was a jack and jenny to begin with, let them stay that way. Don't mix them with horses. You make a renegade. Hybreeding, oh it's such a curse. Go back to where God started. Let's go back to the beginning. Go back to where God brought us what we're supposed to be.

Horses and donkeys are different species that produce a sterile mule. Black and white people are the same species, both are human. So this argument is not valid. The child of parents who are black and white is not sterile.

This is brother Branham’s opinion. But he mentioned no Scripture. Thus this was not an issue in the early church and so we should not make it an issue today. Leave each individual to follow their own leading.

Elijah must restore us to the Bible, not to his opinions on race and politics, etc.

But what does the Bible say about biracial marriages?

NUMBERS 12:1   And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

NUMBERS 12:10   And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

:11     And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

In response to Miriam’s criticism, God does not get angry at Moses; he gets angry at Miriam. Then God strikes Miriam with leprosy. Why? Consider this possibility. In God’s anger at Miriam, Moses’ sister, God says in effect, "You like being light-skinned Miriam? I’ll make you light-skinned, white as snow”

God says not a critical word against Moses for marrying a black Ethiopian woman.

SONG OF SOLOMON 1:5    I am black, but comely,

This is part of Solomon’s love song where the woman sings.

So Scripture does not condemn mixed racial marriages.
