Jesus crossed over from Jews to a Gentile individual

God deals with the Jews as a nation. But God deals with us Gentiles as individuals.

This Chapter of the Gospel of Mark, who reveals Jesus as the Great Servant, shows Jesus leaving the Jews who lived above the Sea of Galilee in Capernaum to redeem an individual crazy Gentile who lived below the Sea of Galilee.

Crossing over the Sea of Galilee was symbolizing the cross where Jesus left the Law of the Jews to show His Grace to an undeserving Gentile.

Jesus had been operating amongst the Jews in the region around Capernaum.

Then He crossed the Sea of Galilee to go to the Gentile region of the Gadarenes.

MARK 5:1   And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

“The other side” reminds one of the Holy Place in the Tabernacle.

The objects in the Tabernacle were also laid out in the form of a cross.

On the one side is the Table of Shewbread with its 12  loaves representing the twelve tribes of Israel. There will be 144000 Jews who accept Jesus during the 3½  years of great Tribulation.

On “the other side” is the 7-branched candlestick which represents the Light of the Gospel during the 2000 years of the 7 church ages of the Gentiles.

God always had both groups in mind, Jews and Gentiles, although He did not deal with them both at the same time.

MARK 5:2   And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

Jesus as a Servant was a Man of action. There was no time to rest. The unclean Gentile came to meet Him. Something in Jesus attracted this demented Gentile. So there is no excuse for all the normal Gentiles in today’s world who are not attracted to Jesus.

MARK 5:3   Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

Today, this would be a church-goer who lives amongst the spiritually dead man-made Gentile denominations with their unscriptural ideas. But despite the dictatorial rule of the church leaders they could not bind his thinking and stop him thinking for himself. No chain of circumstances created by church traditions could hold him.

He wanted Jesus the Word.

Not man-made unscriptural words like Trinity, God the Son, co-equal, God the Holy Ghost, One God in three Persons, Christmas, Good Friday, Lent, Pope, denomination, Father and Son are consubstantial (whatever that is supposed to mean), etc.

MARK 5:4   Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

There are individuals today who are not impressed with man-made church rules and the selfish standards that they see in the churches. They rip church standards and beliefs apart by finding that there are no Bible verses that prove those ideas.

They do not have the truth themselves but they can see that the churches are full of fake news.

But daring to disagree with the church makes an individual an outcast from the church.

He has to survive alone.

MARK 5:5   And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

But being haunted by a bad spirit he lived in rough areas and did himself much harm.

Bad spirits make us addicted to wrong things.

Like people who smoke and harm their lungs or drink alcohol and harm their liver and kidneys that have to purify the poison out of the alcohol. They become addicted as they have to smoke and drink each day.

Some are addicted to watching pornography which poisons their minds.

Others take drugs that are simply chemical claws that rip their minds apart.

Others are addicted to gambling which generates a lust for money.

Worshipping Jesus does not prove you have a good spirit

MARK 5:6   But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

Though mad and living a bad life, he still ran from far to worship Jesus.

So, even bad spirits worship Jesus.

The fact that you worship Jesus does not mean that you have a good spirit.

When people say "Lord, Lord" then the repetition is emphatic. They are really meaning that Jesus is the Lord. But that will not get them into Heaven.
MATTHEW 7:21   Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

The important thing today is not the godly show that we put on. That can be a pretence and is thus fake news. The important thing today is to understand the revealed Word of God so that we understand what God is doing today.

God is trying to prepare us so that we can escape the oncoming 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

Then there are those who have performed great and supernatural gifts.

MATTHEW 7:22   Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Their works are more than impressive to us but utterly unimpressive to Jesus.

MATTHEW 7:23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus actually rejects these supernatural gifts as iniquity. They knew they were doing something wrong. They focused on the glory of the gifts and never sought an understanding of the truth of Scripture.

Understanding the meaning of the revealed Bible mysteries is our highest calling today.

JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

This verse tells us that the evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism is our ability to understand the revealed mysteries of Scripture.

Thus, exercising the power of God without understanding the truth of God, is iniquity.

MARK 5:7   And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the highest God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

The devils knew who Jesus was. They begged for mercy because they had nowhere to go if they were cast out.

This teaches us that demons are very keen to inhabit human bodies.

That is demon-oppression. The demons always trying to inject their ideas into your mind.

Demon-possession is when demons manage to take over a human mind, making that person addicted to something wrong.

They either pick up bad habits or they believe unscriptural doctrines.

Demons have one spirit that is more than one spirit

MARK 5:8   For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

Jesus told the unclean spirit to come out of the man.

MARK 5:9   And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

There was one unclean spirit. One name. Yet there were many spirits. That is the mystery of demonology. One spirit that is many spirits.

This became a basis for the Gentile Trinity.

One God Who is three Persons. Yet each Person is God.

MARK 5:10   And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

The unclean spirit did not want to move out of the Gentile territory of Decapolis.

These spirits of many-in-one or three-in-one would continue to plague the Gentiles during their 2000 years of church history.

MARK 5:11   Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

About 2000 pigs were eating nearby. Unclean animals as far as Jews are concerned.

MARK 5:12   And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

God will only live in a person. Satan is quite happy to live in animals and behave like an animal.

MARK 5:13   And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

These devil-possessed pigs then drowned themselves.

The sea represents the restless masses of people.

So the pigs drowned but the demons did not drown. The demons then entered the restless masses (the spiritual sea) of the Roman Empire and developed their Trinity theory of one God in three Persons.

This belief swept through the Gentile churches as these spirits took over the minds of people at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325.

MARK 5:14   And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

The people who fed the pigs fled from Jesus. You cannot prove the Trinity from the Word. So, church leaders move away from the true Word, the King James Bible. They have changed the King James Bible into more than 100 different versions of the English Bible. As a result, almost all Christians are convinced that you cannot find a perfect Bible today.

What you say about the Bible you are saying about Jesus because He is the Word. The Bible tells us the thoughts of God. So if you think there is a mistake in the King James Bible then you are claiming that there is a mistake in the way that Jesus thinks. Such a statement is iniquity.

The Gentiles do not want Jesus if it costs them money

MARK 5:15   And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

The devil-possessed Legion had stripped off his clothes. Now that he was delivered, without being told, he was dressed because anyone in their right mind wants to be dressed.

Modesty is a natural instinct in people once Jesus has redeemed them.

Those who have met Jesus want to cover themselves.

Those who are demon-possessed want to expose themselves.

MARK 5:16   And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

The man had been delivered but the pigs had been lost. That cost them a lot of money. So, like Judas, they preferred money to the Word of God.

MARK 5:17   And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

Because they had to pay a price, they did not want Jesus at all.

When the Word of God requires us to lose something, then people reject the Scripture and make up a belief that suits themselves.

The mission of Jesus to the Gentile territory ended with the Gentiles preferring money to the Word of God.

The ministry of Jesus to the seven church ages ends with much wealth in the church and Jesus, as the Word, standing outside the church.

REVELATION 3:14   And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;

REVELATION 3:17   Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not ....

REVELATION 3:20    Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:

MARK 5:18   And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

This redeemed Gentile wanted to sail back with Jesus.

But no. The scenario that was being acted out is that after delivering the Gentile church up to Heaven at the Second Coming, Jesus will then leave the Gentile church in Heaven and return to meet the Jews.

So, Jesus had to return to the Jews at Capernaum without the Gentile man.

MARK 5:19   Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them

how great things the Lord hath done for thee,

and hath had compassion on thee.

Go and tell the people what the Lord has done for you.

MARK 5:20   And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis

how great things Jesus had done for him:

and all men did marvel.

He made it clear to them that Jesus was the Lord Who had delivered him.

There was no Trinity in His preaching.

The healed madman became the first Gentile evangelist in the Gentile region of the Decapolis Which means ten cities. Here an emphasis is placed on the outreach efforts of a redeemed Gentile.

Gentiles are supposed to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

MATTHEW 24:14   And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

All saved Gentiles are required to spread the truth throughout the world.

Ten is a number that can symbolize the end

Decapolis. Ten cities.

Moses sent 12 spies to scout out the Promised Land but ten came back with a report that the Jews could not take the land. Thus ten symbolized their failure at the end of the first exodus.

The missionary age was the golden age of our modern church. Tens of thousands of missionaries left England and Scotland to take salvation and the King James Bible to many parts of the world. But many places remained unreached.

Thanks to the American internet that really got going around the year 2000, the Gospel has effectively spread worldwide.

The yellow area on the map shows the region of the ten cities (more or less).

The Decapolis was a group of ten cities (probably Canatha, Hippus, Dion, Gerasa, Gadara, Pella, Philadelphia, Raphana, Scythopolis) that formed a Greek-Roman confederation or league located south of the Sea of Galilee in the Transjordan. This was the territory of the half tribe of Manasseh.

Today Philadelphia is Amman, the capital of Jordan.

This is not the city of Philadelphia which is one of the seven churches in Asia.

Pella was the city that Christians fled to in AD 70 when they saw the Romans start to surround Jerusalem just before they destroyed the city, just as Jesus had prophesied in Matthew 24.

The 10 Gentile cities of the Decapolis draw attention to the number 10.

10 can be a number that represents events at the end of the seven church ages.

To illustrate the church at the end time, the Lord used a parable of 10 virgins.

MATTHEW 25:1   Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

This represented the final state of the church. All were fast asleep. Badly in need of a wake-up call that tells them to go out of their churches. That is still coming, probably via a massive earthquake that wreaks havoc with the world’s economy. Imagine what would happen to the American economy when Los Angeles sinks beneath the sea. And the world economy depends on the American dollar.

MATTHEW 25:4   While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

:6   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

The Lord catches His Bride up to Heaven and the world then goes into great Tribulation.

The Sixth Seal in Revelation Chapter 6 deals with the events of great Tribulation.

REVELATION 6:12   And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake;

A massive earthquake ends the 7 church ages as great Tribulation starts.

Daniel saw a Gentile image that ended in feet of clay and iron representing the Bride and the denominational churches. The feet end in ten toes. Church history ends with ten dictators who give their military power to the final Pope.

REVELATION 17:12   And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Now, notice in here at the end of this age... Now, Daniel, in the 2nd chapter and the 34th and 35th verse, he watched this image with great consideration. And he watched it until a Stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and It rolled down and smote the image in the feet and broke that... Not... It never hit it on the head now; hit it in the feet.

That was the end time, them ten toes.

But I want to try to explain this to you, that ten is a number of "worldliness" man.

Ten is also the number of worldliness.

So, in the end time, the emphasis is going to be on worldliness.

In Revelation 17 John saw a woman, the Roman Catholic church,  riding a beast with seven heads and ten horns.

REVELATION 17:3    So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

REVELATION 17:12   And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

“They receive power as kings”. They are not crowned but have a king’s power. They are dictators. These 10 dictators rule under the beast, the final Pope.

God promised Abraham that if he could find ten righteous men in Sodom he would spare the city, just before the promised son Isaac came. But Abraham could not find ten.

Around the time of the Second Coming of the promised Son Jesus, there will be ten ungodly dictators in our Sodom-like world of same-sex marriage. Thus the scene is set for nuclear bombs and missiles to rain fire down from the sky as happened with Sodom when fire fell from the sky.

The Countries that Have Nuclear Weapons.

1. Russia — 6,257 (1,458 active, 3039 available, 1,760 retired)
2. United States — 5,550 (1,389 active, 2,361 available, 1,800 retired)
3. China — 350 available (actively expanding nuclear arsenal)
4. France — 290 available
5. United Kingdom — 225 available
6. Pakistan — 165 available
7. India — 156 available
8. Israel — 90 available
9. North Korea — 40-50 available (estimated)

As the end approaches, the computer now dominates the world with its binary digits of 1 and 0.

These two numbers combine to make 10. Symbolizing our final computer-dominated world.

Worldly games and cellphones work with computer chips. These dominate people's minds and attention.

Jesus leaves the Gentiles to return to the Jews

MARK 5:21   And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

Jesus left the Gentile territory of Decapolis. He was back amongst the Jews.

This symbolizes Jesus turning to the Jews once He has finished with the seven Gentile church ages.

“He was nigh unto the sea”.

REVELATION 17:15   And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The sea represents the restless masses of humanity that dominate the time of great Tribulation.

Great Tribulation will be a time of mass industrial-scale death.

In that turbulent 3½  years of great Tribulation, Jesus returns to the Jews to pull out the 144000 Jews.

Two-thirds of today’s 18 million Jews will be killed.

ZECHARIAH 13:8   And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

At such a time the Gospel returns to the Jews, just after the Gentile Bride has been caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

MARK 5:22   And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

This symbolizes the Jews turning to Jesus.

MARK 5:23   And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

The girl symbolizes Israel, on the point of death as the evil hordes attack her during the time of great Tribulation.

MARK 5:24   And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

It was a hectic time with people crowding Jesus.

12 years of a blood issue are healed by a touch

MARK 5:25   And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

A woman suffering from loss of blood. The 12 years remind us of the 12 tribes of Israel.

MARK 5:26   And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

Mark speaks of Jesus as a Servant. Mark shows the anger of frustration that a servant or wage-earner feels. Having spent all her money on costly medical fees she finds that she is actually worse than she was. Their remedies did not work but that did not stop the doctors charging her. Money was the name of the game.

The Jews in great Tribulation. Nobody will be able to effectively help them when the final Pope, the man of sin, turns against them and attacks them. The final Pope will make a covenant with the Jews for their Stock Exchange money and then find a diabolical way of breaking that covenant to destroy the Jew’s money. The Jews, like that woman, will have no money left.

MARK 5:27   When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

Humility. She came from behind, desperate to just touch His garment.

MARK 5:28   For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

Caiaphas, the false High Priest who thought of his own position and not the welfare of the Jews,

tore his outer clothes which ended the Law

and caused over 1 million deaths when the Romans destroyed the city of Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70.

Now came the real High Priest Jesus.

The Roman guards never tore His outer coat at Calvary.

And here His clothes gave healing to the woman. Symbolizing that Jesus alone can save the remaining one-third of the Jews in great Tribulation. As well as filling 144000 Jews with the Holy Ghost.

JOHN 19:23    Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat:

now the coat was without seam,

woven from the top throughout.

:24   They said therefore among themselves,

Let us not rend it,

but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

The woman was cured just by touching the seamless coat of Jesus.

MARK 5:29   And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

A touch from the Master and her faith secured a great healing.

MARK 5:30   And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

The faith of the woman drained the strength from Jesus.

MARK 5:31   And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

The disciples were puzzled. Many people were pushing against Him. But they did not realize that true faith drained some strength from Jesus. For example, brother Branham often lost his physical strength after a discernment line. The faith of the people who he prayed for, drained him.

DANIEL 8:27   And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days;

Seeing those great visions drained strength out of Daniel.

MARK 5:32   And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

Jesus looked for the person whose faith had drained His energy.

MARK 5:33   But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

This symbolizes the 144000 Jews who finally meet the Messiah at the end of great Tribulation. They are scared because they realize that Messiah was the One that the Jews had rejected and killed.

MARK 5:34   And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

But Jesus offers the 144000 Eternal Life as they are filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Jews have been spiritually asleep for 2000 years

MARK 5:35   While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

The girl has died. Great Tribulation is a time of much death and fear.

Sleep indicates that one is unaware of what is going on.

The Jews have been fast asleep for 2000 years.

After taking His Gentile Bride to Heaven, Jesus will return to wake up the 144000 Jews.

He will resurrect them from their state of spiritual death.

MARK 5:36   As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

If we believe, we do not have to fear our circumstances.

MARK 5:37   And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

Only three disciples were allowed to follow Him.

Peter represents Faith in the written Word which is Jesus. James represents our Hope in the resurrection. He was the first disciple to be killed. And John represents Charity or Love towards everyone.

If we do not have Faith, Hope, and Charity then we are not following Jesus.

We are not better than others if Jesus calls us. We are just better off because He gave us an undeserved break because of His Grace.

Taking Peter, James, and John meant that Jesus will take the doctrine of the apostles to the 144000 Jews. The 144000 will receive the New Testament beliefs.

MARK 5:38   And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

The grief and tumult reflect the time of great Tribulation.

MARK 5:39   And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

The resurrection allows us to awake again from death. So if we believe in the resurrection then death is just a long period of sleep.

MARK 5:40   And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.

“They laughed Him to scorn”. They were just pretending to grieve. There was no depth to their emotion. If they genuinely grieved they would not be able to suddenly ridicule Him.

This describes the people in great Tribulation which will be the foolish virgins. They had no depth in their love of Scripture. That is why they were fooled by man-made doctrines because they never asked for their beliefs to be proven just from the Bible.

But Jesus will privately meet with the 144000, away from any crowds.

MARK 5:41   And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

The Jews as a nation have been dead for almost 2000 years. The Hebrew language had died out. The return of the Jews to the Promised Land in 1948 was like a resurrection from the dead. Especially after 6 million had been killed in the Holocaust during the Second World War.

MARK 5:42   And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

12 years old. Just like the woman’s blood issue of 12 years. The 12 keeps reminding us of the 12 tribes of Israel. From them come the 144000 Jews who receive the Holy Ghost. (144 = 12 x 12). This will cause great astonishment because at that time it seemed as if the Man of Sin and his armies was about to destroy all the Jews. By then he will have destroyed 12 million Jews who are two-thirds of today’s 18 million Jews.

Only the supernatural power of Jesus enables Him to intervene on their behalf and save the 144000 and the remaining 6 million Jews who will go into the Millennium, the 1000-year Kingdom of Peace.

Those surviving Jews will occupy the Promised Land together with the Old Testament saints for 1000 years. That will complete the Promise that God gave to Abraham.

But according to the Fifth Seal, those Jews who are killed will be given martyr’s robes and allowed into Heaven. Despite the horror of great Tribulation, it will still end in a win-win situation for the Jews. Such is God’s grace.

REVELATION 6:9   And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

They believed in the Old Testament. The Jews have their own personal testimony. Christians have the testimony of Jesus Christ and how He saved us.

REVELATION 6:10   And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

These are the Jews that have been slain during the 2000 years of church history, very often by church people. They are in Heaven. So when the Bride is caught up into Heaven at the Second Coming of the Lord, they want to go down and get revenge on the denominational systems.

Jews want revenge. The Law allows an eye for an eye.

Christians, like Jesus and Stephen, pray for forgiveness for their killers.

REVELATION 6:11    And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The Gentiles are  God’s Bride.

The Jews are His servants. Their fellow servants are the 144000 who still have to be slain in the 3½  years of great Tribulation, as well as the two-thirds of the Jews who will be killed by the last Pope and his armies.

MARK 5:43   And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

Jesus meets the 144000 Jews secretly. Nobody else will know about it.

Having received the Holy Spirit, they will be able to feed on the New Testament and be able to understand the same doctrines that the Word Bride understands.
