John Hagee's end-time prophecies are wrong

In 2005 he said Iran would have an atom bomb within 2 years

John Hagee made this prediction but it never happened.

Then in 2006 he updated the book but made the same claim of Iran having an atom bomb within two years.

That also never happened.

John Hagee is a well-known Christian author who preaches certain beliefs that are widely held by modern-day churches.

His best-selling book "Jerusalem Countdown" has sold hundreds of thousands of copies.

So what he says is actually what a lot of modern-day Christians believe about future prophecy, especially concerning the years of great Tribulation that are coming.

In 2021 Iran was still enriching uranium in order to build a bomb.

Thus John Hagee's secret contacts in Iran did not have secret information. They simply got the facts wrong.

But this was a very dramatic prophecy that helped to sell the book.

We, humans, tend to see what we want to see, especially if it boosts our sales.

By focussing on Iran, John Hagee tries to build up the start of end-time events on the possibility of an atomic war between Iran and Israel.

But when Jesus predicted the end He mentioned wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. Then the real trouble would start, a very sorrowful time of great Tribulation.

MATTHEW 24:7   For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

:8    All these are the beginning of sorrows.

In the last 100 years the world has seen many wars. In the last 100 years about 70 million people have died from famines, most of them man-made by Communist dictators.

The 2020 spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus was a very nasty pestilence. It hit the health and the economy of nations and caused much mental torment.

Then human stupidity took over as certain people who were often Christians opposed the anti-virus vaccine.

But when these anti-vaxxers got infected they expected doctors and nurses to look after them, at great risk to these medical personnel. The unvaccinated helped to produce more dangerous variants when they were infected, and then they looked to the medical world for help.

Einstein once said that the only infinity that he was aware of in our physical universe was human stupidity.

Church-goers manifested their Bible ignorance by claiming that an injection in the shoulder was the mark of the beast in the forehead. That is a pathetically inaccurate interpretation of Scripture. But the churches were helpless in the face of the pandemic and in 2020 the churches were closed down.

2020 can mean perfect eyesight.

So God was telling us in 2020 what he thought of our churches. Only fit to be closed down.

John Hagee's dramatic focus on a possible atomic war prevented him from predicting the coronavirus pandemic that started in 2020.

The virus caught him unawares, just like it caught the rest of the churches unawares.

But after the virus will come massive earthquakes in strategic places that will wreck the world economy.

Massive and strategic earthquakes will hit the world and will cripple America's economy.

This will lead to the Roman Catholic Church taking over America and leading America to ruin.

That is why America does not feature in the end-time prophecies of Scripture.

The enemy of truth is the Roman Church and not Islam

John Hagee puts a huge emphasis on Islam, especially Iran, as if their war against Israel is the main catalyst that will cause  Armageddon.

Then he has 200 million Chinese infantry marching up the dried-up Euphrates river bed to attack Israel. This is impossible if you look at the distances involved and the terrain of mountains and deserts between China and Iraq. This is an army of demons, not people. There is a flood tide of demonology flowing from the East to the West, symbolized by the coronavirus pandemic that started in China at the end of 2019.

The final man of sin will usurp the position of Pope.

The final Pope will bring the Protestant churches into a form of unity with the Catholic church being in charge.

This man of sin, as the final Pope, will rule the world by using the military power of ten dictators.

He will make a covenant with the Jews for their Stock Exchange money.

The Protestant churches will unite and form the image of the Beast under the banner of the unscriptural Trinity God Who has no name. (You cannot find one name for three Persons).

The idea of Trinity was forced onto the Catholic church at the AD 325 Council of Nicaea. Emperor Constantine introduced the unscriptural expression that Father and Son were "of the same substance". (Whatever that means). God the Father is a Spirit. The Son of God is a Man who is made of flesh and bone. How can they be the same substance?

"Same substance" is unscriptural.

John Hagee himself does not know the name of the Triune God. Nor is he able to explain why "God the Father" never appears in the Old Testament. He also cannot explain why "God the Son" never appears in the entire Bible.

Now that Christians do not know the name of their Trinity God, Satan is undermining them in many unscriptural ways. The two main church celebrations are the unscriptural "Christmas" and unscriptural "Good Friday". Both of these unscriptural expressions were invented by the Catholic church and copied by the Protestants.

We were never asked to celebrate the birth of the Lord. But Pope Julius I adopted 25 December as the birthday of Jesus around the year AD 350. He simply copied the date from the pagan Roman sun god that had been invented in AD 274 by the pagan Roman Emperor Aurelian.

Jesus had to spend three nights in the tomb so He had to die on a Thursday. Thursday night. Friday night. Saturday night.

Then he rose up on Sunday morning.

All these unscriptural Catholic beliefs have been busy taking over the Protestant churches unnoticed, while John Hagee distracts everyone by pointing to the Muslims as if they are the main enemy.

Jesus warned us not to be deceived.

Iran and the Muslims do not deceive us though they may physically kill us.

Satan is busy taking over the churches as he already rules the political world.

Satan offered Jesus all the political kingdoms which showed that he already owned them. Politics is a dirty game that the Devil has always ruled.
MATTHEW 4:8   Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

:9   And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me

John Hagee misses the revelation that the spirit of antichrist is the succession of Popes.

The Catholic church claims that the Popes go all the way back to saint Peter. The succession of Popes is the longest line of rulers in the world.

I JOHN 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The antichrist spirits of religious deception have been operating right from the beginning of the church ages while the apostles were still alive.

When the church started, Satan was busy persecuting and infiltrating the church, looking for positions of leadership. The unscriptural titles of archbishop, cardinal, and Pope were invented by the antichrist spirits in order to allow them to rule over the church.

John Hagee says:

“Antichrist.  This man will come out of the European Union….this political leader who is the head of the European Union.

He will make a covenant with Israel for seven years”.

His basic mistake is to look for "the Antichrist" in politics.

The Bible never says "the Antichrist".

We should actually speak of the man of sin or the son of perdition if we want to be Scriptural.

II THESSALONIANS 2:3   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

This conveniently takes our attention off the real enemies of truth, which are the church leaders who deviate from Scripture.

The "son of perdition" is the "son from hell". Hell and perdition are topics that are spoken by church leaders, not by politicians.

LUKE 22:3   Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

At the First Coming of Jesus, Satan operated by getting into the inner group of twelve disciples.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed and mentioned Judas as the only disciple who would go lost, led astray by money.

JOHN 17:12   While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

The son of perdition who will appear in the scene as world ruler will happen when Satan is kicked out of heaven and then enters a man who will flatter his way into being accepted as the final Pope. The tremendous wealth of the Vatican, the vast political clout of the Vatican, and the huge membership of 1.4 billion Catholics will make the Catholic Church the obvious target for the Devil to take over. This combination of religion, politics, and impressive wealth that the Catholic church offers is all under the control of a one-man-dictator, the Pope. Thus Satan will usurp the position of Pope. He will make a financial covenant with the Jews to obtain all their Stock Exchange money. Ten military dictators will give him their military power so that he can dominate the world.

Pilate was the corrupt politician. The Roman army had the murderous and brutal violence.

Caiaphas was in charge of the religious Jewish Temple system. Satan ignored them all.

They were all useful puppets that the Devil could use later, but none of them could trigger the killer blow that he was planning. He had to get into someone who preached the truth in the inner circle, one of the 12 disciples.

Those men were trained to be the leaders of the church. Only a trusted disciple could cause the betrayal.

At the Second Coming of Jesus,  the antichrist spirit is again rising up inside the church. He wants to operate through the church leaders. Politicians and the violence of war are secondary. Taking over the pulpits is his smartest move.

No one even suspects that the enemy could be behind the pulpit.

The denominational church system is the body that  Satan is busy taking over and uniting while these same churches keep looking for Satan in outside groups like Islamic terrorist violence and European political leaders.

That calibre of church-prophecy keeps us asleep because we easily convince ourselves that since Islamic terror is wrong therefore we must be right. The European Union (EU) is also very weak as a global police force. Their armies are good but small and cannot be transported around the globe in sufficient numbers to subdue threats in various places.

America has the largest free world army and the means to transport it overseas. But their chaotic exit from Afghanistan signals a decline in American influence.

Thus if we have to wait for the European Union to become a world-dominating military force, then we are in for a long wait. Therefore churches feel that they can still afford to relax.

Politics and Islamic terror do not fool anyone spiritually.  So who is going to deceive us?

When the disciples asked Jesus for a sign of the end time, His first warning was about deception.

MATTHEW 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

:5     For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

So Jesus warned of anointed preachers in the church at the end time who would deceive many Christians. “Christ” means “anointed”. The church world is full of talented, anointed preachers. But with 45000 different types of denominational and other churches, the church world is also full of error and deception.

Jesus did not warn about brutal dictators, world wars, and vicious terror groups. These are evil, but they are not the real enemy. The devil rules politics. But he always has. So politics and money are always a source of evil. The problem today is that politics and money are rising up as a contamination inside the church which is afflicted by deceptive doctrines.

The deceived churches do get involved in politics which is bad. All politics is corrupt anyway. But their main error is in their spiritual corruption as they misinterpret the Bible. No church should get into politics. Jesus and Paul set no such example. Another error of the churches is to focus on money-making.  The love of money is the root of all evil. Watch a 30 minute religious TV program and they will ask for money as part of the show.

Money and politics are a toxic disease for the human soul.

Satan’s plan is to get the church to take over the politics and wealth of the world.

America tries to dominate the world militarily. But a war in Afghanistan and a war in Iraq proved that one country cannot suppress the world. Europe is much weaker than America. Their armies and air forces are small. They do not have a navy that can transport their military across the seas. From a military point of view, the European Union can protect themselves to a certain extent but cannot dominate other parts of the world.

The Devil is clever enough to know that the only way that he can rule the world is as a church power and a money power.

There is only one church leader that has sufficient authority to take over the church systems, the Pope.

The wealthiest and biggest church organization is the Roman Catholic church

DANIEL 9:26   And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

After Jesus died the Romans under their general Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70.

More than one million  Jews died in this siege.

The Romans are thus the “people of the prince that shall come”. So the final man of sin, the incarnate antichrist spirit, will come from Rome.

The only organization in Rome that has worldwide authority is the Roman Catholic church. The only position of authority in the Roman church that the Devil wants is the position of the Pope. He wants to enter a future Pope in the same way that he entered Judas. That will then be the man who dominates the world in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

His claim of a 7 year covenant with the Jews is wrong

John Hagee says that the Antichrist will make a covenant with Israel for seven years.

Not true.

Remember. No Bible verse speaks of "the Antichrist".

The Bible verse he refers to speaks of confirming a covenant, not making a covenant.

So he had to make the covenant on some earlier occasion before he can confirm it.

No Scripture speaks of when the covenant is made by "the Antichrist" (an unscriptural expression).

DANIEL 9:27   And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

Notice the assumption that the “he” is the Antichrist.

John Hagee, and others who share this belief, offer no proof of this statement.

They claim that the Antichrist breaks the covenant in the midst of the week of 7 years. In other words, after 3.5 years.

But if the covenant is broken after 3.5 years, then the covenant was not confirmed. You cannot confirm a covenant that will be broken.

This covenant was not broken when the animal sacrifices ceased, the covenant was confirmed when the animal sacrifices cease.

When Jesus died on the cross, then the animal sacrifices ceased.

So the covenant made by God and Abraham was confirmed when Jesus died.

The only Person in the Bible Who confirms a covenant is God.

GALATIANS 3:17   And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ,

This is totally different to what the churches claim. God confirmed a covenant in Christ.

When was this covenant made? God made the covenant with Abram who later became Abraham.

GENESIS 15:17   And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

:18     In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

God gives a promise to the seed of Abraham.

At first, this looks like Isaac, Abraham's natural seed.

But Paul points out the word is "seed" (singular) and not "seeds" (plural).

The single Seed of Abraham is his spiritual Seed, Jesus.

GALATIANS 3:16   Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

So what was the natural covenant that God made with Abram?

Because this natural covenant would be confirmed spiritually by what God made Jesus suffer.

GENESIS 15:9     And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

:10     And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

Each animal was cut in half and then the two halves were laid next to each other.

The birds represented salvation and healing. These cannot be separated. The same God Who saves is the same God Who heals. If God can save us then we must believe that He can also heal us.

GENESIS 15:12   And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

The sun going down was symbolizing the end of man’s life. Deep sleep is a symbol of death. The horror of great darkness represents sin which is what makes our deaths horrible. We have to answer for our sins.

GENESIS 15:17   And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.

A smoking furnace. Where there is smoke there is fire. The fires of hell. Abram could do nothing as he was fast asleep. We cannot do anything to save ourselves.

There was a burning lamp or light that passed between the two halves of the sacrifice.

The Old Testament and the New Testament are the two halves of God’s plan of salvation.

They join together at the four Gospels which describe the life of Jesus.

Jesus fell into the deep sleep of death at Calvary. He took the horror and darkness of all our sins upon Himself. He died and His Spirit like a burning lamp moved between the two halves of the Bible.

His Life and death and resurrection fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament and laid the foundation for the New Testament.

His Holy Spirit went down to the darkness of the clouds of sin and the fires of hell and defeated the Devil. He rose back up with the keys of death and hell. Only His Spirit could hold the Old and the New Testaments together.

What He did at Calvary and in the Resurrection confirmed the Covenant that God had made with Abram.

We need to understand the concept of the spiritual fulfillment or confirmation of the natural covenant that was made.

God gave Abram a Promised Land (Israel) and a promised son or seed, Isaac. But death was still present. Isaac would die. The Jews would be removed out of their Promised Land and go into captivity in Babylon for 70 years. So this covenant seemed rather temporary.

But when the covenant was confirmed, then Jesus won eternal life for us and as the real promised Seed Jesus became heir to the whole world by His Sacrifice. Thus He can now establish a new Heaven and a new Earth where there will never again be death, sickness, sorrow, and grief.

God made a salvation covenant with Abram that had nothing to do with Abram’s works.

While Abram slept helplessly the Spirit of God would penetrate the darkness of sin and the smoke of the fires of hell and win the victory over Satan. All Abram could do was to believe this promise that God would one day win this victory.

The natural covenant that was made was for a life span of say 70 to 100 years for a Jewish person to live in the Promised Land until he or she died. But even then they were often attacked by enemies.

The spiritual confirmation of the covenant by Jesus brought forth eternal life in the resurrected body of Jesus and the Old Testament saints who were resurrected after Him. This laid the foundation for the final dwelling place which will be in the new Heaven and the new earth. This was a far better idea.

MATTHEW 27:51   And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

:52   And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

:53   And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

God had planned a ministry of seven years for Jesus in which He would achieve this salvation for all mankind, to confirm the promise He had made with Abram.

But after a ministry of three and a half years, Jesus was killed at Calvary in AD 33. This was right in the middle of His intended seven-year ministry

He was the Passover Lamb and His death ended the Temple sacrifices. God tore up the Temple veil.

DANIEL 9:27   And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

When Jesus died, God left the Temple.

The Jews carried on with their meaningless sacrifices until General Titus and the Roman legions killed more than a million Jews in AD 70 in Jerusalem. The Temple site was ruined and left desolate. The Jews were exiled. There were no more sacrifices and oblations (solemn offerings) from the Temple site.

Emperor Hadrian and the Roman legions killed 580000 Jews in the Bar Kochba revolt that ended in AD 135. The Romans then built a temple to their god Jupiter on the Temple site. The Jews were scattered over the empire.

As a matter of historical fact, anti-Jewish pogroms occurred not only in Jerusalem (AD 325 ), Persia (AD 351), Carthage (250), Alexandria (415), but also in Italy (224), Milan (379), and Menorca (418), Antioch (489),  Daphne-Antioch  (506), Ravenna  (519), amongst other places.

Around AD 700 the Muslims built the Dome of the Rock on the Temple site.

The Roman Catholic crusaders killed Jews quite happily during their many blood-thirsty crusades.

The Jews had to endure the unspeakable horrors of the Spanish Inquisition which started in 1478. Then the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492.

Murderous Russian, German, and Bavarian anti-Jewish pogroms then erupted unannounced throughout their history in these countries.

Murderous persecutions occurred under Russian communism. Stalin died just as he was organizing the destruction of the Jews in Russia.

Mass expulsions of Jews occurred from  Spain, Austria, England, and France.   More violence was poured out onto the Jews.

The worst was the systematic, industrialized slaughter of 6 million Jews in the Nazi Holocaust of the Second World War.

Four major wars had to be fought by the Jews against Arab armies.

Endless Islamic and Palestinian terrorist attacks occurred against the Jews.

At least 20000 rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza and Lebanon.

Scud missiles were fired into Israel from Iraq.

DANIEL 9:27   and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

For about  1800 years the Jews have faced endless persecutions. No other nation has been hammered for that length of time. Their Temple site remains desolate, occupied by the Dome of the Rock.

But please remember, there is still the second half of the week (or 7 years) owing to the Jews. This represents the three and a half years of great Tribulation. Then the two prophets Moses and Elijah will bring the truth of the Gospel to Israel.

REVELATION 11:3   And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

A score is twenty.  A Jewish month is 30 days.   So 1260 days represents 42 months or the three and a half years of the great Tribulation.

Thus there is no Scripture that says the Tribulation is 7 years long.

There is also no Scripture that says that the first three and a half years of the Tribulation are easy and only the last three and a half years are very bad.  These are just made-up ideas. Like any make-up, they are washed off by the water of the Word. Make-up is a deceptive beauty that does not last.

King of the west and king of the east are unscriptural

John Hagee writes, “Bible prophecy divides the world military powers into four sectors….called the king of the North, the king of the South , the king of the East , and the king of the West.”

This is Biblically untrue.

In the Bible there is no king of the west. A king of the west is completely unscriptural.

There is also no king of the East as the Bible speaks of the kings (plural) of the East.

REVELATION 16:12    And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

:13     And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

:14   For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The apostle John here speaks of demons.

The kings of the east are demons.

Cain went east and established demonology. A trinity of spirits unites all the kings of the earth as they gather to oppose Jesus at Armageddon. The dragon is the Devil. The false prophet is the prophet of a false religion that believes in unscriptural ideas. This is the Pope.  The beast is the Roman Catholic spirit of organized man-made denominational religion. Each church has to be subjected to an elevated holy person who is the head of the church. That organizational spirit spreads to all the Protestant churches who form an image to the beast.

MATTHEW 15:9   But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

The human leadership of the church is the fountain of error.

EPHESIANS 5:23   For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church:

Only Christ is the Head of the church, no man.

The Euphrates river is the border of the Promised Land.

The Euphrates flowed out of Eden so it is a spiritual symbol because Cain went east and the Euphrates flows to the east.

Water is symbolic of the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

EPHESIANS 5:26    That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 

The symbolism is that the water of the Word is our protection against demonology. Believe the Bible and the demons are held in check. When the Word of God dries up as people believe less in the Bible, then this opens the door to more demonology that comes flooding in, in the form of the kings of the East.

These “spirits of devils, working miracles” are the demons of today who are performing the miracle of uniting the churches.

To unite the churches requires that there is less emphasis on the Bible. The sloppier we are in our beliefs, the more easily the different churches unite.

"Christmas. A decorated, upright, Christmas tree. 25 December. The wise men going into the stable at the birth of Jesus".

All of these words and ideas are very unscriptural and needless to say all the churches agree on this unscriptural pagan festival. Despite the fact that the Bible never asked us to celebrate the birth of the Lord.

In AD 274, the 25th December was dedicated to the birth of the sun god, Sol Invictus (the unconquerable sun) by the pagan Roman Emperor Aurelian who had just beheaded Felix, the bishop of Rome, on 22 December AD 274.

The sun-god has certainly conquered the Christians as he rides on the white horse of religious deception in Revelation Chapter 6. Today, Christmas is the biggest celebration in the world.

REVELATION 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

A bow without an arrow is a bluff. White is religious. A religious bluffer who fools us. No arrow. No Scripture to prove his doctrine right. But he wins. The Bishop of Rome Julius 1 accepted 25 December as the so-called Christmas birth of Jesus, the Son of God, around the year AD 350. From the Catholics, it spread to the Protestants and is even celebrated by non-Christians today.  The Pope is also the only western religious leader to wear a crown. Pope Nicholas I was crowned with a single crown around AD 860 AD. By AD 1315 this had evolved into the famous triple crown of the Popes.

We must celebrate the birthday of Jesus, claim the churches. Who said so?  That idea is never mentioned in the Bible.

The King James Version of the Bible is now heavily criticized in the churches.

They no longer want to stay strictly with a word-for-word translation. When great Tribulation starts the King James Bible will be totally rejected and the demons will flood into the church.

MATTHEW 7:13   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

:14     Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Bible translators have produced over 100 different versions of the English Bible.

Church leaders have produced 45000 different types of denominational and non-denominational churches. This is the broad way to error. Very few will find the narrow way because it is so unpopular.

MATTHEW 7:15    Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Impressive human leaders who claim to know exactly what is to happen as they lay out their version of Bible prophecy. Beware of them. Check to see if their prophecies are Scriptural. Prophecies that are wrong are something that Jesus warned against. Thus preachers are more likely to get prophecy wrong than to get prophecy right. Otherwise, Jesus would not have given us this warning.

If you end up believing anything that is not written in the Bible, it is simply a waste of time. And it sets you on the wrong path.

He claims that Ethiopia is in the Arabian peninsula

John Hagee says , “There were also states adjacent to Persia known as Ethiopia and Libya. …. Moses went into the wilderness and there he married an Ethiopian…. He went into the Ethiopia of the Arabian Peninsula.”

There is no history to back these claims.

Ethiopia and Libya are very much African states. There were never states with these names in Arabia.

Moses first went to Midian in the Arabian Peninsula when he fled from Egypt. There he married Zipporah a Midianitess.

EXODUS 2: 15    But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh,  and dwelt in the land of Midian.

There he met Reuel also called Jethro or Raguel, a man of Midian,  who became his father-in-law.

EXODUS 2:21  and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah

Then Moses returned back to Egypt when he was 80 years old to lead the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt.

Then just before getting to the border of the Promised Land the Bible mentions the second wife of Moses.

NUMBERS 12:1   And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

Moses had taken a second wife. He had gone down to Egypt from the land of Midian to lead the Exodus. He married an Ethiopian woman sometime between being in Egypt and getting to the border of the Promised Land. This is the first mention of his second wife, an Ethiopian. Ethiopia lies south of Egypt.

So Libya and Ethiopia are in Africa.

He claims that Sheba represents the Western powers

EZEKIEL 38:13    Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil?

John Hagee claims that “Sheba, Dedan, merchants of Tarshish….represent the Western powers”.

I KINGS 10:1   And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

MATTHEW 12:42   The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

The Queen of Sheba came from the south.

So Sheba was definitely in the south, not the west.

Tarshish is of uncertain location.

It is very obscure, somewhere in the Mediterranean or the western coast of Europe. No one knows for sure. If it is taken as a  reference to the west,  then this obscure place is not a good symbol of the dominant power of America. The symbol of America is an eagle. But there is no mention in Ezekiel's prophecy of an eagle. America is basically left out of the prophecy.

Many people have pointed out, there is no clear-cut symbol for America amongst these nations.

That means that somewhere in future America is eliminated.

Other writers also disagree with John Hagee about Sheba and Dedan.

Gary Stearman, a highly rated Bible prophecy writer, claims that Sheba and Dedan have got nothing to do with the west but seem best described by the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and a few other Arabian partners.

It is obvious that guesswork is being involved here.

Trying to guess where all these different countries are and also when they are involved in the prophecy just leads to many different opinions. A lot of speculation is involved. Some countries are fairly obvious to place, but other countries are very uncertain. The timing of the prophecy also leaves us guessing.

We are all very uncertain about events in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. Never forget that point.

These great Tribulation events do not involve the true church which will be caught up to Heaven. Thus God does not give us a deep insight into great Tribulation issues as these have got nothing to do with us. They will be revealed by the two prophets in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

The years of great Tribulation is not any business of the Bride.

Those mysteries will be revealed by the two prophets who bring the 144000 Jews back to accepting Jesus as their Saviour.

So, when great Tribulation gets going, it seems that America will be taken over by the Roman Catholic church which is quietly rising to power as a worldwide church and an international money power.

The Roman Catholic church will lead America to ruin.

Then America will be destroyed by Russian nuclear missiles.

The final Pope gets his military power from ten dictators. Russia as king of the North is an obvious candidate for one of these dictators. You say Russia is a democracy. Only in appearance. Putin has had control for over 20 years and now has another 4 years of power. George Washington was the first democratic leader of America and of his own accord he stood down after eight years in order not to become a dictator. Anyone who has power for over 20 years is a dictator. Medvedev is Putin's friend who stood in as President for 4 years and appointed Putin as Prime Minister. After four years they just swapped positions. This was just a veneer and pretense of a democratic election designed to keep one man in power for over twenty years.

What possible events could lead to these great disasters for America, we do not know.

The San Andreas fault line along the edge of California may trigger a disastrous earthquake. This is simply a possibility based on predictions that earthquake scientists make. Obviously, they cannot predict the exact time of the earthquake.

If Los Angeles sinks into the sea, it will also unleash an incredible tidal wave. California will be crippled. California is the richest state in America, so America will be crippled. President Biden has increased American debt by an incredible amount. A heavily-indebted America will not financially survive a disaster of this magnitude. Only the Roman Catholic church has enough money to take over America. And the Roman Catholic Church will lead America to ruin.

Then when these women help elect the wrong person, then I seen a great woman rise up in the United States, well-dressed and beautiful, but cruel in heart. She will either guide or lead this nation to ruination. (I've got in parenthesis "perhaps Catholic church.")

We just know that things will be very different in great Tribulation to what they are now. So it is pointless to make detailed predictions.

The rise of the Roman Catholic church to global domination as a spiritual or religious denominational church power as well as a money power is the most overlooked aspect of modern life.

The final Pope will then get his military power and military strength from ten dictators. They have power as kings, but are not crowned kings.

REVELATION 17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

:13  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Democracy can morph into a dictatorship.

The 2020 COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic saw democratically elected leaders having to impose harsh dictatorial rules on their nations. In other words, when the problems are severe, people will accept that a democracy can rule dictatorially.

Putin has ruled Russia since 2000 mainly by taking over the Russian TV broadcasting rights. His friend Medvedev was caretaker president for four years (appointing Putin as Prime Minister) and then handed over power to Putin again in 2012 as Medvedev swopped positions to become Prime Minister. The political party United Russia has thus had a near-total dominance of Russian politics which means that Russia is effectively ruled as a one-party state. Medvedev’s presidential victory depended on the abuse of administrative resources by Medvedev, allowing him blanket television coverage.

Putin has effectively ruled Russia for 20 years by 2021 and can carry on for many more years this way. Democracies limit the time of a president. Dictatorships do not.

Russian Garry Kasparov, ex-chess champion, summed it up in 2018 by saying, "Every free world leader who congratulates Putin on his "election"  is complicit in his global war on democracy".

George Washington’s voluntary decision to decline a third term as American president was also seen by many people as a safeguard against the type of tyrannical power yielded by the British crown during the Colonial era. Too long in power corrupts any man and turns him into a tyrant.

This also applies to a church. Once a man gets in charge of a church then he stays there indefinitely, while power corrupts him. Today we have 45000 different denominations, each with multiple churches. Each of these churches is controlled by some human leader. And what is God’s final decision to this seventh and last church age of Laodicea?

REVELATION 3:16   So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

The modern church is like vomit in God’s mouth. That means that our fancy churches of today simply make God sick. This is not a compliment. We are so complacent. Each church is so convinced that they are right. Yet the parable of the ten virgins (good saved churches) says that they were all asleep. Even those who had oil. Something is very wrong with our church systems.

President Erdogan in Turkey is brutally clamping down on any opposition. In Turkey,  gradually but inexorably, a nation that once aspired to be an example of enlightened moderation is being transformed by Mr. Erdogan into a dreary totalitarian prison.  Erdogan is happily marching alongside Russia, China, Egypt, Cuba, and others where legitimacy to rule rests on force and thought control.

Under the disguise of democracy, dictatorships are growing in certain countries. A dictator does not wear a crown but he has the supreme power of a king.

These dictators will give their military power to the final Pope. He will get spiritual power from the worldwide churches. No one can attack him because he has followers in every country. The Roman Catholic church has huge financial reserves, especially in America.

The final Pope just needs to make a covenant with Israel to get access to all the Stock Exchange money that the Jews control. Then Rome will control world commerce.

REVELATION 17:14   These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

These ten dictators will give the final Pope the military power that he needs in the Tribulation. They will support him all the way to Armageddon where their blood will make the soil so fertile that it will blossom like a rose. That will be their contribution to the thousand years of peace that follow the battle of Armageddon.

Ten powerful dictators spread around the world will impose control everywhere without having to move their military too far. This overcomes the tedious logistics problems of one country having to move its military far away.

Following prophecy in the Bible is very difficult. Do not let anyone fool you on that score.

There are glimpses of events that happened in past history and other events will only occur in the Tribulation.

As such, we look through a glass darkly and we are not all that sure what specific events will happen, especially during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation as it will be a time of supreme horror and chaos.

Thus the circumstances in great Tribulation will be very different to what is happening now. There is no way that we can lay out all those chaotic events in advance. That revelation will be left to the two prophets, Moses and Elijah, who take the Gospel to the Jews during the years of great Tribulation.

The Message preachers who claimed that they could interpret a quote and thus prophesied that Hillary would win the 2016 presidential election were simply proof of how little they understand the Bible.

How far they have moved away from God's thinking.

In his description of the many antichrists, Daniel mentions different events that the antichrist spirits were involved in as they rose to power. We tend to spot those events after they have occurred.

Remember, Satan is still learning. At times in the past, he has made the mistake of linking the Roman church to military power in his attempts to rule Europe in the Dark Ages and the first hundred years of the counter-Reformation as the Pope opposed the threat of Martin Luther. Then the Pope met the military genius of Napoleon and abandoned military power.

Then between the two World Wars Italy was taken over by Mussolini’s Fascists and the Roman Catholic church helped him to come to power. Thus Pope Pius XI who hated democracy, Jews, and communism backed the Fascist dictators Mussolini and Hitler. The Pope helped Mussolini to power and was thus responsible for his attacks on Libya and Ethiopia when they were briefly but cruelly conquered. Mussolini, to thank the Pope for his help, recognized the Catholic church as the state religion in Italy.

DANIEL 11:43   and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

This is just a little hint from the prophet Daniel.  Whoever you think the Antichrist system is, it has to conquer Libya and Ethiopia at some time in its history. This happened after 1922 (Libya) and then 1935 (Ethiopia).

The Roman church backed Mussolini and he attacked Libya from 1922 to 1934 and then Mussolini shocked the world when he attacked Ethiopia in 1935. Cardinal Pacelli, the next Pope, was very active to get ambassadors to stop the sanctions imposed against Italy by the League of Nations. The Roman church backed the violence of both Mussolini and Hitler in a macabre dance-of-death that combined war and religion. The Vatican ratlines also helped many brutal Nazi war criminals escape to South America.

Most of all, Pius XI and the dictator Mussolini, who both came to power in 1922, depended on each other for support and for achieving mutual goals. They shared many political ideas; both loathed democracy and Communism. Pius gave sacred legitimacy to Mussolini's Fascists and removed political obstacles to Mussolini’s Fascist regime. Mussolini restored many church prerogatives that had been lost over the previous decades.

Wrong guesses about American and Russian involvement

Will America play a passive role in the Middle East?

EZEKIEL 38:13   Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil?

In 2004 John Hagee says, “England’s symbol is that of a lion. America is an offspring of England, hence the ‘young lions’ will not come to Israel’s rescue.”  

Plural?  America cannot be “lions”. America is one country. America’s symbol is actually the eagle.

Others say that the young lions are the British Commonwealth. But they are all guessing.

“The Western World is simply going to make a passive diplomatic response when Russia and the Arabs attack Israel”.

“Why won’t America respond?...The next administration will probably be democratic and will withdraw from Iraq vowing to stay out of the Middle East in future”.

These quotes are pure guesswork.

Looking back on the twelve years after this prediction was made, in 2016, we see that Trump is Republican and he has bravely pushed through recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in 2018. This has really got America involved in the Middle East.

This move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital took everyone by surprise. Nobody had predicted that. America cannot stay out of their defence of Israel after such an unexpected move.

The Americans have not withdrawn from Iraq by 2018 but are planning to withdraw from Syria. John Hagee had the right idea but the wrong country.

"Russia and the Arab nations will form one of the most impressive military forces ever put together”.

This may happen in the future in great Tribulation but it is not going to happen until some very dramatic changes occur. We do not know what these changes are so we should rather wait than just guess and get it wrong.

At the moment the Arab armies have been less than impressive.

Saudi Arabia cannot defeat little Yemen which is next door.

President Assad of Syria had to call in outside help of Hezbollah from Lebanon and Russian aircraft to defeat his Syrian rebels.

Libya, since the death of Gadaffi, has become wrecked by infighting.

Russia is still struggling to get over their defeat in Afghanistan which is their next-door neighbour.

Building up a big military that can operate far away takes time and costs money. Whenever oil prices drop, Russia’s economy gets hurt.

The uncertain consequences of force always make war a hazardous and unpredictable venture.

John Hagee has the Russians and the Arabs attacking Israel at the start of the Tribulation and getting destroyed.

EZEKIEL 39:9    And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

Then the Jews spend seven years burning the weapons of war. But he also claims that the Tribulation lasts seven years.

When the Tribulation starts the Russians have to march on Israel and gather up all the Arab nations. That will take time. Then they have to attack and get destroyed. That will take time. So there will be less than seven years of Tribulation left.

If the Tribulation is going to be bad, how can Israel have seven undisturbed years to waste on burning weapons of war when there are not even seven years of Tribulation left?

EZEKIEL 39:12    And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

The Tribulation is a time of trouble such as has never been seen before.  So how can the Jews spend seven months burying the dead as well as seven years burning weapons of war? This sounds more like the Jews cleaning up after the battle of Armageddon.

Beast with 7 heads is not a person who is shot

“The antichrist….will be shot in the head and miraculously recover”

There is no "the Antichrist" in Scripture.

This is the biggest mistake in his theory. Nothing like this is prophesied.

The Nazi party was a system that had Hitler as its figurehead. When we speak of Hitler we can also be referring to the Nazis, because they carried out his orders and were totally under his control.

The beast thus refers to the Roman denominational church system which is under the control of the Pope. So the succession of Popes can also be referred to as the beast as the Popes are the figurehead of the organized church system.

The basic mistake modern day preachers make with prophecy is to ignore the 2 000 years of church history and then place all the prophecies into the Tribulation. But the Tribulation is where the foolish virgins end up. What use are the prophecies to them? Virgins are clean women. These are saved churches who woke up too late to realize what was going on.

It is the wise virgins who can understand Scripture who need the prophecies so that they can avoid the Antichrist religious church system that has grown up over the last 2 000 years.

REVELATION 13:3   And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Only the wise virgins will have enough wisdom to understand this. So it is something that happens before the Tribulation.

REVELATION 17:9     And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

REVELATION 13:1   And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The sea is the symbol of the restless masses of Europe as the Roman Empire disintegrated and the barbarian tribes began to form the nation states of Europe. Slowly the Pope gained religious authority over these tribes.

REVELATION 17:15   And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 

This beast is the power of politics, and religion, and money, that combined to dominate the restless masses of Europe that formed the "sea". The seven heads are seven mountains. Rome is known as the City of Seven Hills. Romulus founded Rome and built on top of the hills for safety. When his followers had built on seven hills then they built a wall around the hills (the brown line). As soon as a wall was built around a town, that place became known as a city.

The Capitoline hill was the Capitol or head of the pagan Roman Empire. The Temple of Jupiter was the centre of the Roman empire. This is where laws were passed that applied to the empire. Then Rome fell to the Barbarians in AD 476. That was the end of the power of the Caesars that had ruled Rome.The Barbarian sword gave a death stroke to the power and authority of the Capitoline hill.

Pagan Rome fell and out of the ruins of the pagan Roman empire rose up the Roman Catholic church whose official headquarters was the Lateran Palace on the Caelian hill. This Lateran Palace was given to the Bishop of Rome by Emperor Constantine around AD 313. This began the intense involvement of the Roman Church in political matters.

Though the Pope later moved to the Vatican on the other side of the Tiber river, the Lateran palace remains his official residence. The Pope then went on to become the most influential religious leader of all the barbarian tribes that formed Europe.

So the deadly wound recovered. The power of the Caesars on the Capitoline hill that was destroyed by the Barbarian sword was recovered by the Pope as he grew to rule Europe in the Dark Ages from his Lateran palace on the Caelian hill. Thus the deadly wound was healed. Power was again restored to a man, a supreme dictator, who ruled from one of the seven hills. The Pope rules the Catholic church as a dictator.

Then the Portuguese and Spanish sailors spread the Catholic faith to South America, Mexico and the far East. So the Pope now rules a worldwide religious empire that is fixed in the minds of men and women.

The power of the pagan Roman Empire of the Caesars was based on territory in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

For a while, in the Dark Ages, the Pope tried to rule Europe. Ruling territory turned out to be too difficult and too expensive especially when faced by the military genius of Napoleon.

Then the Pope discovered a far more powerful method. Rule the minds of men as a church and rise to power as a money power. People pay their money into the church in return for a place in Heaven. This was good business. The Protestants rushed to set up similar church organizations.

Now we just await the final antichrist superman Pope who will unite the church world and make a financial covenant with the Jews because they own such a huge chunk of the Stock Exchange money.

Then ten dictators will add their military power. If they are spread around the earth, all the better, because they will be able to enforce the laws without having to move troops over long distances.

John Hagee writes:

“The Arab states as king of the South”.

There are 22 States in the Arab League.  To lump them together is dubious as intense rivalries exist within a state and between states.  The well-known lack of trust among Arabs for anyone outside their own family. The vicious civil wars in Libya, Syria, and Yemen demonstrate the underlying hatreds. The hatreds between Sunni and Shia Muslims. Saudi Arabia and Iran hate each other. There has to be some major change in the conditions of the Middle East if it is to produce Arab unity. There is very little chance of that happening under the current situation.

Russia is the king of the North. That is correct.  But there is no obvious candidate as king of the South.

“As head of the European Union he represents the king of the West”

There is no king of the West in the Bible. This is just unscriptural.

The small different armies that exist in Europe are not a threat to anyone. When a vicious war broke out in the Balkans, on Europe’s backyard, they were unable to control it on their own. They had to rely mainly on the American airforce.

200 million demons are mounted and are not infantry

“John the Revelator described an incredible marching army of 200 million soldiers from the Orient  marching down the dried up riverbed  of the Euphrates towards Israel.”

It is not a marching army of infantry. It is a mounted army of horsemen.

REVELATION 9:16   And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

These are horsemen.

That would represent mounted troops. China might scrape 200 million infantry together but not that many mounted troops. It would take a huge amount of very rugged vehicles to drive up a dried out river bed. It would be much easier just to cross the river and drive overland.

But these horsemen are demons. This is an outpouring of eastern demonology.

REVELATION 9:17   And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

A horse with the head of a lion that breathes out fire and smoke? That is not a natural horse, it is a demon. The power of this demon is in its mouth.

Jesus said, “Let no man deceive you”.

Deception comes from the mouth.

REVELATION 9:18   By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

God sees people as Jews, Samaritans (part Jew and part Gentile) and Gentiles. So a third part of men refers to the Jews. In great Tribulation, God turns back to the Jews. In retaliation, the Devil unleashes a flood tide of demonology against them.

REVELATION 9:19   For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

The danger of demonology lies in the unbelief and unscriptural ideas that they speak.

Modern scientists say there is no God. They claim that the Universe could create itself, life can evolve from some goo through the zoo, to you. Atheism is regarded as a sign of cleverness. All this defiance of God comes from speech.

The “tail” in the vision represents the “tale” or story that they tell us.

The unscriptural doctrines that they preach.

But the first “tale” came from the mouth of the serpent in Eden.

He told Eve that she could do as she pleased.

Eve did not have to stay Scriptural. So this flood tide of demonology descends on Israel to lead them away from the Bible.

But 144 000 Jews will stand for the truth.

John Hagee says, “The two kings that remain on the earth at this point (the end of the Tribulation) in prophecy are the king of the West, which is being led by the antichrist and the king of the East which is China. These two kings and their armies will meet to battle it out for world supremacy on the battlefield in Israel called Armageddon. John the Revelator describes the mother of all wars.

But there is no king of the West.

There is also no king of the East because there are kings ( plural ) of the East.

These kings are demons.

REVELATION 16:12   And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

The water of the Word dries up. The Euphrates river is the border of the Promised Land. The Euphrates river flowed out of Eden. So it is a river with a spiritual significance. Water symbolizes the Word of God. When the water dries up symbolizes when the Word of God is rejected, then we have no defense against demonology  which just floods over us.

REVELATION 16:13   And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

A trinity of spirits. Satan the dragon. The Pope is the prophet of a false religion, thus he is the false prophet. The beast is the power of organized Roman denominational religion that binds people to the commandments of men.

REVELATION 16:14   For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The miracle that Satan is doing today is the uniting of the churches. The more Scripture they ignore, the easier it is for them to unite. Their motto is, “Forget doctrine as it divides”.

REVELATION 16:15   Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

This verse is left out by John Hagee. There is a trinity that is used for the uniting of the churches into a one-world denominational system. The nakedness of churchgoers is something that offends God.  This mention of nakedness shows that this is a spiritual issue. Just to gather for a political war would not involve any concern for nakedness. Jesus only met one naked man and he was demon-possessed. Stripping off clothes in public is demonic.  The Bride that God is coming for will be clothed.

REVELATION 16:16     And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

John Hagee writes:  This call will be to every nation not aligned with China. This call is for every nation to send their armies to Israel to destroy China, the last great superpower on the face of the earth, the king of the East. Doubtless America, Canada, and the countries of South America, Australia, and Europe will be represented.”

There are no symbols for these western nations of America, Canada, South America, and  Australia. So how can they be included? His argument here is very weak. He acknowledges that with the word “doubtless”. That simply means he cannot prove his point from Scripture.

“Divine election is simply not so for the Gentiles”.

“Divine election is a fact for some of the Jewish people who are a remnant according the election of grace (Romans 11:5 )”

John Hagee says election only applies to the Jews. He claims that Romans Chapter 8 to Chapter 11 only refers to Israel when speaking of election.

He is trying to explain God’s election in an over-simplistic manner.

We all have free will and God also has full sovereignty over our lives (called election). That sounds like a contradiction but that is simply because we humans cannot think deeply enough to understand it.

Scientists cannot combine the law of gravity with the laws of the atom. We do not know how they mesh together but each law, somehow, works perfectly in its own way.

Scientists also found that small particles that move in one direction can also act like waves rippling out in all directions like ripples on the surface of a pool of water. We can describe these two contradictory behaviours separately, but we cannot explain how they mesh together. But somehow they do mesh together.

Then John Hagee contradicts himself by saying that God can do what He likes with us. But that is election. God deciding what to do with a person.

John Hagee writes:  “God has absolute sovereignty in your life. Sovereignty means He can do what He wants, when He wants. If He wants, as long as He wants without explanation to you  or anyone else, not ever.”

This sentence he has just written means that God can do anything He wants with you, so God can elect you if he wants to.

Certainly, God is sovereign and has full control over everything. Yet He also gives us free will. Both these ideas operate at the same time, even if we cannot explain in detail how that works. We are not allowed to emphasize the one and ignore the other one. Both happen. Somehow.

Election means that God planned everything out in His mind at the foundation of the world. He has left nothing to chance.

REVELATION 17:8   The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The beast that was (previous Pope), and is not (present Pope dies), and yet is (a new Pope is elected).

This Scripture indicates the succession of the Popes that form the longest line of rulers in the world.

The bottomless pit means they produce new doctrines that have no Bible foundation.

But the world admires the Papacy for their sheer ability to survive as an organization for close on 2000 years. Their wealth, their splendour, their pomp, and ceremony is magnificent.

Thus the people believe the doctrines that the Roman Church has made up rather than believing the Bible. Except for a few who stay with the Bible.

But right from the foundation of the world God knew there would be people who would stay away from organized religion. That is the basis of election. The fact that God knew long before we were ever born whether we would be fooled by the denominational church system or not.

The next statement below means that when God chooses or elects people, He does so with a complete disregard for their nationality or circumstances.

God elected you whether you are a Jew or whether you are some other nationality so that you could display holiness, mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering.

God expects everyone to display these attributes, not just the Jews.

COLOSSIANS 3:11   Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

:12    Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

MATTHEW 13:35    That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

God knew exactly what was going to happen to everyone right at the beginning of creation.

Jesus used the symbols of parables to lay out the mystery of the seven church ages in his seven parables about the kingdom of heaven. But these mysteries were laid out at the foundation of the world. So God knew all about our church history from the beginning of time. There is nothing about the future that God does not know.

MATTHEW 13:33   Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

The fourth parable of the kingdom has a woman, symbolizing a church, putting rottenness (leaven or yeast that decays to produce gas that swells up the dough) into three pieces of the meal that symbolizes the Word of God.

The fourth church in Revelation Chapter 2 is called “Thyatira” which means  “a dominating woman”.

Four is in the middle of seven. So this is the Middle church age. The Middle Ages are known as the Dark Ages because the Roman Catholic church dominated Europe and stopped the people from reading the Bible. ( A woman is a symbol of a church. The true church is the Bride of Christ ). The Catholic church split up the meal (the Word) into an unscriptural Trinity of Persons.

So God already had His whole plan for the church laid out right at the beginning.

That is what we call election.

EPHESIANS 1:5   Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Another word for election is predestination which means that He chose us in advance because He knew we would love His plan and purpose when He revealed it to us.

EPHESIANS 1:11   In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

I THESSALONIANS 1:4   Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

God ran our lives through His mind at the beginning as if it was a computer simulation. He gave everyone free will and responded to their deepest desires. Those whose deepest desires were to serve God and give Him control of their lives, of their own free will, in the face of all the other temptations, were the people that He chose. Only they would willingly obey His Word and thus allow Him to bring His plan to pass.

We must be saved from great Tribulation and from hell

“And unless those days were shortened [days of the great Tribulation] , no flesh should be saved, but for the elect’s sake [the Jewish people] those day’s will be shortened.” Matt 24:22

Here John Hagee claims that the Tribulation will be shortened but he also says that it will be seven years long. So it cannot be shortened and made less than seven years.

“No flesh should be saved”  does not refer to people being saved from hell. Jesus completed that work on Calvary when He said “It is finished”.  Jesus bought the salvation of everyone on the cross. If He never saved you at Calvary, then you can never get saved.

The issue that the churches miss is that there are two things we have to be saved from.

First, we have to be saved from hell by repentance. His Blood shed at Calvary achieved this.

PSALM 49:8    (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

If you have genuinely repented and accepted Jesus as your Saviour then nothing can “unsave” you and you cannot go to hell.

But there is another test in the future. The parable of the wise and foolish virgins. They were all clean women. Saved churches. But some went to the wedding supper and some did not. So there are saved Christians who will miss the catching away of the church and find themselves left behind in the Tribulation.

Having got saved from hell through repentance, we then have to be saved from the Tribulation by believing the truth of the written Bible.

But there are now over 100 versions of the English Bible and 45 000 different types of denominational and non-denominational churches that are all different. Christians all brag about their church and their pastor. Scriptures are changed by Bible translators. Christians claim that there are mistakes and contradictions in the Bible. The symbols of Scripture are removed from new Bible versions. The word-for-word translation of the King James Version Bible is criticized. William Branham came to finish the mystery of God as the seventh angel or messenger. Now his followers have promoted his quotes to being the Absolute Word of God.

Those who stay strictly with the written King James Bible are attacked by the denominational churches as well as the Message churches.  Character assassination and smear campaigns eliminate any opposition to the church groups. Christians believe the commandments of men which are Fake News rather than Good News.

So where does a beginner Christian find truth?  It is almost impossible as he or she virtually has to stand alone amidst the flood tide of error which has so many variations. Christians enthusiastically support the errors of their specific church. They refuse to believe that their church could possibly be wrong. Today major scientists claim there is no need for God and being an atheist is a sign of cleverness.

If this trend continues much longer then soon there will be no more saved Christians who can find the full truth in this modern maze of churchianity.  Conforming to one or other church is now normal. The nail that stands up gets hammered.

Fortunately, many churches know how to get people saved and then get them to live a reasonably holy life. But when it comes to knowing deeper truths of Scripture, these doctrines are just ignored as not necessary.  Too much of what churches believe today is a rather ugly brew of Bible ignorance and wishful thinking that produces wild distortions.

LUKE 8:18   Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

If you stay with Scripture God will add to your knowledge. If you deviate from Scripture, those errors will make you reject the truth that you once knew.  So by developing a belief to justify Israel as the only elect of God, you then end up denying  that the Gentile Christians are also the elect of God.

LUKE 18:8   Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

ROMANS 10:17   So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Our faith depends on how much we believe the Bible.

Jesus had doubts about how much Bible faith He would find when He returns.

ISAIAH 57:1    The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

The righteous Bride will escape the Tribulation when they are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

ROMANS 4:3   For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Our righteousness depends on how much we believe the Bible.
