John chapter 16 - The Holy Ghost baptism
We update studies as the Lord Jesus leads us. You can find the latest update of this study at ChurchAges.net
The evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism is that you can be guided into all truth. God first reveals things, then does it.
First published on the 26th of December 2018 — Last updated on the 12th of May 2024JOHN 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
Jesus now warns the disciples about the concentrated hatred that religious people have for the truth.
He speaks to them in terms of the Jews in their synagogues. That is all they could understand at that time.
They had no idea of the future Gentile church.
But history repeats itself.
The intense opposition of the Jews towards them would be because they believed in Jesus.
So in later years there would be an equally intense hatred of the Bible believing Christians by the church-going members of churchianity.
The disciples knew Jesus as a Man. We know Jesus as the revealed Word. Jesus is equally rejected in both manifestations.
Being scorned, ignored, snubbed, and thrown out of churches is standard treatment for those who insist on being Scriptural. That is how Jesus was treated.
Jesus was warning them so that they would not be surprised or upset when persecution happened.
JOHN 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
The disciples were rejected by the Jews in the synagogues.
Except for the apostle John, the apostles were all killed. The apostle Thomas was killed by high class Brahmin priests in India. The apostle Matthew is believed to have been killed in Ethiopia.
In the Dark Ages there were tens of millions of Bible believing Christians who were killed by the Roman Catholic church. Religious wars were fought. Killing non-Catholics in the name of God was considered a virtue in Roman Catholic dominated Europe.
This philosophy led to the awful crusades where Europe attacked and killed the Muslims in Palestine. Killing Muslims was regarded as a way of gaining salvation. Today the Muslim jihad fighters regard killing western people as the way to heaven. They kill while yelling that Allah is greatest. Thus error mutates like a vicious virus.
JOHN 16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
The deep thoughts of God are called the Father. These thoughts, expressed as the Word, are called the Son.
Killing the apostles was bad because their killers did not know the thoughts of the Spirit of God. Nor did they know Jesus, the Word of God.
God expresses His deep thoughts in His Word. We cannot understand the thoughts that are locked up in the Word of God unless the Spirit of God first gives us a revelation of what He was thinking about.
When church-goers today reject verses in the New Testament, they are killing the influence of the apostles on the people. The apostles wrote the New Testament.
Today the people are focused on building up big churches in order to impress. These are partly Scriptural and partly built on tradition and human opinion. Churches desire popularity and provide entertainment, especially disco music. Thus they have not realized that God wants us to stay strictly Scriptural. Drums are never mentioned in the Bible.
Our focus should be on getting a revelation of the revealed Word. At the end-time, God wants us to understand the Bible.
Church-goers thus do not understand God’s thoughts (the Father) and His plans for today. The need for the last church to be turned back to the beliefs of the first church. Nor do they understand what the Word (the Son) tells us about the end-time Laodicean church being in a state of apostacy and Bible ignorance. Each modern church thinks that they are just fine.
JOHN 16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
Jesus was warning them and us in advance.
God always reveals what is going to happen before it actually happens.
At the beginning of the demonic onslaught that led to the crucifixion, Satan attacked Jesus Who was with the disciples. Satan was so focused on destroying Jesus that he ignored the frightened apostles who the Devil thought were irrelevant. Thus the apostles were spared the fury of the crowd that could easily have killed them too. So the presence of Jesus, Who drew the full attack of Satan onto Himself, saved the apostles.
But after the Day of Pentecost, Satan realized to his regret that these cowards who ran away from Pontius Pilate’s judgement hall, had been suddenly transformed into a formidable band of spiritual soldiers.
Satan then turned the hatred of the Jews and the Romans against the disciples who were now referred to as apostles. As the Gospel spread Satan aroused the Gentile nations against the apostles. The apostles were slowly killed off over the years, but the blood of these martyrs was the fertilizer that made the church grow.
Three million Christians were killed by the pagan Roman emperors.
Then tens of millions were killed in the Dark Ages.
As Jesus had warned, cruel death and Christianity were linked together. But the dying Christians were re-assured by the advance warning given by Jesus. Their bodies were in danger, but their souls were safe.
JOHN 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
Jesus was on His way to death. This was the will of the Spirit of God. If Jesus did not die, there would be no Christianity. Death is when the spirit leaves the body.
The sinful human spirit we are born with that surrounds our Soul cannot return to God when we die.
That is why we must repent and accept Jesus as our Saviour.
Our saved human SOUL must be encapsulated, folded around by the Holy Spirit when we are born again. Hence, that Soul with the Holy Spirit around it will be freed to return to God in a celestial body when we die. What is left of our sinful human nature is then poured into the dust and disappears. Our celestial body will enable us to live in Heaven until the Lord comes. That celestial body will be resurrected in a glorified body when the dead are raised just before the Lord returns.
This matter is made possible by the Holy Spirit and NOT the HUMAN spirit.
When the unsaved sinner dies, the sinful spirit of that person cannot go into Heaven. The unsaved spirits are kept in Prison or Hell to await Judgement Day. Those who are then condemned will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
Supper was over. It was getting late. Yet no disciples asked Him where He was going. Although it was unusual for Him to be walking around late at night.
JOHN 16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
Jesus has warned them of future events. Drastic events. When something upsets our comfort zone, we humans get worried, fearful, and sad. We like our present comfortable rut that we have got used to.
The apostles sensed that dark clouds were looming and events were starting to spin out of their control. They were getting sad.
JOHN 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Jesus had to go. The human characteristics of God’s Spirit had developed in Him over the 33 years of His life. Now He had to die as a Man to save mankind from sin.
Then a portion of the Holy Spirit could return as a combination of both supernatural and human characteristics into the human hearts of individuals.
The supernatural attributes would open our human minds to an understanding of the thinking behind God’s Word.
Each portion of the human attributes of the Holy Spirit would transform an individual into the person that God intended that human to be.
Our comfort is that we do not have to serve God in our own human strength that will fail. Nor in our own human ignorance that cannot penetrate God’s thinking.
God supernaturally illuminates our minds while His humanity replaces our sinful humanity.
His humanity becomes us and this gives us of His strength to serve Him.
As Jesus saved the disciples by drawing Satan’s wrath onto Himself, so Jesus saves us by taking over our lives and living in us.
Thus the Devil attacks us but ends up fighting the Jesus Who lives in our bodies. This gives us comfort. Jesus is sure to win, whatever happens.
COLOSSIANS 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of
the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Christians can only win when they allow Christ to live in their hearts to control them, guide them, and defeat Satan's attacks.
JOHN 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
JOHN 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
They believe not.
This is unbelief. Not believing something that is written in the Bible is the basis of sin.
Unbelief in our minds causes sinful actions.
For example, we steal (a sinful action) because we do not believe (which is the source of sin).
So when the Holy Spirit comes, He will teach us to believe in Scripture.
JOHN 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
GENESIS 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Abraham believed in the Word of God. That was Abraham's righteousness.
DEUTERONOMY 33:19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness:
On Mount Calvary, Jesus offered up the sacrifices of righteousness. Only at the foot of the cross can a person be forgiven and find righteousness.
JOHN 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
Calvary was the final judgement of sin. Jesus paid the full price for each of us. There is no further payment to be made.
All we can do is repent and accept the forgiveness that He purchased.
Our own works cannot earn forgiveness from sin in any way.
EPHESIANS 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
The faith that we need to believe in God has to be given to us by God.
EPHESIANS 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Thus salvation from sin does not depend on us in any way.
Jesus paid the full price on the cross. That way He protected us from the full onslaught of Satan which would have destroyed us.
Jesus is our David Who went out to face the giant of Death, hell, and the grave. Plus all the demonic hordes of hell.
He won the battle against unbelief with one stone to the forehead. One question to the mind of the Trinitarians.
“What is the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost?”
Trinitarians have no answer. They cannot have one name for three People.
So the Trinitarian God has no name.
Thus He cannot be the true God.
JOHN 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus still had to happen.
The Jews would have to learn that the Gospel must also go to the Gentiles.
There was still much that the disciples would only be able to learn later.
JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he,
the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
This is the evidence of the Holy Ghost baptism.
The Holy Spirit will reveal the mysteries of Scripture to us.
“He will not speak of himself”. Like John the Baptist, the Holy Spirit puts all the emphasis on pointing people to Jesus.
Preachers can learn from this. They should not be boosting their own self-importance. They should only be pointing to Jesus.
"He will shew you things to come". If we learn to interpret the Bible correctly we will be able to recognize certain events as they occur.
Those preachers who claimed that Hilary Clinton would win the 2016 America presidential election were obviously not guided by the Holy Spirit.
These are warning bells to tell us who God is not working through.
JOHN 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
The Holy Spirit only puts the emphasis on Jesus Christ, no other person.
Christ alone must be glorified. No prophet can share His glory.
ISAIAH 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,
The prophet can only receive a revelation from the Holy Spirit. Then he has to show us how this revelation can be followed through the verses of the Bible. Each Scripture must be explained in terms of other Scriptures.
JOHN 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All the revelations that are in the thoughts of God are found in the Word, which is Jesus. Thus the Father, Who is the Holy Spirit, will take the verses of the Bible and unlock their hidden meanings.
MATTHEW 1:21 … for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Whoever places a seed in the mother’s womb is the father of the child. So the Holy Ghost is God the Father.
Jesus, as a human Baby, cannot have two fathers.
JOHN 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
An unusual statement. You will not see Me. Then you will see Me.
This happened twice.
He died and left the scene. Then He was resurrected back to life.
Then, as a Man, He ascended to Heaven and was not seen again. But then He was seen again as the Word of God when the apostles wrote the New Testament.
So the apostles who has seen Him as a Person, now had to see Him as He walked through the pages of the Bible. What they wrote of Jesus in the New Testament also helped people to see Jesus walking through the pages of the Old Testament.
Jesus is the focus of both the Old and the New Testaments.
JOHN 16:17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
The disciples were not able to understand at that time.
Jesus left as a Man so that His Spirit (the Father) could return to live in them.
JOHN 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Jesus is the Comforter.
JOHN 16:18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
The disciples were baffled. Humans cannot puzzle out God’s plan. They just have to wait until God brings His plan to pass.
JOHN 16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
JOHN 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
Jesus is going to die. The disciples will weep sadly. But the Jews will cheer that they have killed Jesus.
But then will come the resurrection and the Day of Pentecost. Then the apostles will rejoice.
JOHN 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
A woman forgets her pain when a baby is born.
On the Day of Pentecost the disciples were born again when the Holy Ghost came into them and they forgot all their past fears and failures.
JOHN 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
Sorrow over the crucifixion was temporary. Jesus would see them again after His resurrection but He would still be a separate person from them.
So the real meeting between Jesus and the apostles would be when He came into them as the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.
Then Christ would be in them to guide them and reveal His Word to them.
JOHN 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Then they would not be speaking to Him as a separate Person. Whatever they asked the indwelling Holy Spirit (the Father) would be granted to them. Because the Holy Spirit would be inspiring them what to ask for. God and man would fuse together and be one.
JOHN 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Up till now you have been training as disciples. But when I die and ascend to Heaven, then you apostles will start to establish the church. Jesus will provide them with whatever they needed for that great task.
JOHN 16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
At this stage the disciples were basically ignorant of what God was planning to do.
Once the Holy Ghost came into them then they would start to understand.
That is the purpose of the Holy Ghost baptism. To make us understand the Word of God.
JOHN 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
Once the Holy Ghost is in them, they will have direct communication with God the Father, because He is the Holy Ghost.
JOHN 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
We must believe that every word of the King James Bible is inspired by the deep thoughts of the Spirit of God. We must love the Word (Jesus) and believe that what is written is inspired by the thoughts of God's Spirit.
There are no mistakes, no contradictions, no wrong interpretations, and no irrelevant details in the King James Bible.
JOHN 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
:29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
Now the disciples thought that they understood.
JOHN 16:30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
Now they claim that Jesus comes from God. They will be on His side.
JOHN 16:31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
Jesus is basically saying, "Do you really think that you know what beliefs you are standing up for?"
JOHN 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
"Just wait till the real pressure starts to explode in the Jewish leaders' extreme hatred of the written Old Testament and its fulfillment in the life of Jesus.
Then you will find that you no longer have the courage to believe in Jesus".
At the end time there will be the same test.
There will be much anger and hate by the message-people who interpret carefully selected quotes, towards those who build their faith on Scripture. Consequently people will desert the written Word as they will be scared to stand up for Scripture. If you do insist on being Scriptural, you will be shunned or cast out of message and denominational churches.
But God the Father was the Spirit that dwelt in Jesus. This Spirit would remain in Him.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Jesus was fulfilling all the Scriptures. The religious leaders hated that.
We have the same problem today.
The mysteries of the Bible have been revealed since the six Seals were revealed by William Branham in 1963. The churches object to the revealed Scriptures. They are not interested in an end-time prophet who is not part of their specific church. The message-churches have been fooled into thinking that the revelation of the opening of the Seals is the actual opening of the Seals.
The seventh Seal was revealed to be the complete mystery of the Lord's Coming and thus it was not opened. We know nothing about the Lord's Coming.
1964-0719 THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS
The Seventh Seal hasn't opened yet, you know. That's His Coming.
The seventh Seal never opened for brother Branham.
We have a revelation of the sixth Seal as the interruption of nature during the Tribulation.
But only the two prophets to Israel can actually open the sixth Seal.
Brother Branham never claimed to open the sixth Seal.
Much of the Tribulation remained a mystery to him as it refers to the 144000 Jews, not to the Gentiles.
Thus God never allowed him to preach on the Feast of the Trumpets.
He also never preached on the seven Vials.
The Trumpets and Vials belong to the Tribulation, not to the church.
63-0323 THE SIXTH SEAL
What is it? What can bring these things but the Word? They can do nature any way they want to. Here it is. They're the one who brings on this Sixth Seal. They uncover and open it up. It's the power of God to interrupt nature. See,
the Sixth Seal, is completely an interruption of nature.
Do you get it now?
There's your Seal. Who does it? It's the prophets the other side of the rapture.
With the power of God, the Word of God, they just condemn nature. They can send earthquakes, turn the moon into blood, the sun can go down or anything at their command. Amen.
1963-0323 THE SIXTH SEAL
And now here's these two prophets standing here with the Word of God to do anything to nature they want to, and they shake the earth. And it shows exactly who does it. It's Moses and Elijah, 'cause there's their ministry re-impersonated again: both men. Oh, my. Do you see it now? See what the Sixth Seal is? It's those prophets.
Now, notice. Don't let it choke you,
but watch what opened that Seal: prophets.
See? Amen. There you are. Oh, we're living in the eagle day, brother, head up among the clouds.
They opened that Sixth Seal.
They have power to do it. Amen. There's your Sixth Seal coming open.
Only Moses and Elijah can open the sixth Seal by interrupting nature as they oppose the Beast and protect Israel.
The fourth Seal sees Death riding on a pale horse. This only happens in the Tribulation. Thus we do not know who the final Pope is that will rule the world. We do not know who the ten dictators are that will give the final Pope their military power.
Thus this part of the fourth Seal has not been opened. It deals with the Tribulation events which God never revealed to brother Branham in any detail.
But the church world hates the thought that brother Branham was to give us the revelation of the seven Seals. Satan has also got message-churches to mistake the revelation of the Seals opening for the actual opening of the Seals.
Satan has produced many wrong ideas from the seven Seals sermons.
Notice the title of the book printed from the sermons.
It does not say the Opening of the seven Seals.
It says the Revelation of the seven Seals.
The message groups have been fooled into thinking that the seven Seals have actually opened.
They have mistaken the revelation of the opening for the actual opening.
They claim that the revelation of the event is the actual event. This is totally wrong.
AMOS 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
This is the Scripture that message-churches fiercely oppose, just like the Jews opposed Jesus.
To get the revelation of the Seven Seals before they actually opened in Heaven, seven angels had to take brother Branham beyond the curtain of time and show him the future event in visions.
Then having seen the Seals being opened in a vision of the future event, he could could come back to our time and speak as if they were already open.
They had opened, but only in a series of visions and discussions with seven angels. But they had not opened in reality. That event occurs after the rapture.
But his revelation of the opening of the Seals has certain limits.
It can only give the broad outline of events. It did not give us all the tiny details. For instance he never saw which person will be the final Pope who rides in as Death in the fourth Seal. He was unable to actually demonstrate the interruption of nature as a destructive power to protect Israel, because only the two Jewish prophets will be able to do that.
He was not shown the coming of the Lord. That remains the top secret of the seventh Seal.
Most importantly, the Bride was not actually around the throne in Heaven which is where they will be when the real event, the actual opening of the seven Seals, literally occurs.
The key point is that the seven Seals only open in reality (not in a vision) in Revelation Chapter 6 after the Bride has been caught up to meet the Lord in the air, symbolized by John being caught up in Revelation Chapter 4.
God revealed the opening of the seven Seals in 1963.
The actual opening of the seven Seals happens in Heaven after the Bride has been caught up to Heaven and is around the throne of God as shown in Revelation Chapter 5.
63-0324 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON THE SEALS
In Revelations verse 5 to 9, who are these found singing when the Lamb takes the Book. Are these the raptured saints?
... "the song they sang, saying, You have redeemed us out of every kindred, tongue, and nation."
Sure, that's them.
Revelation Chapter 5 happens after Revelation Chapter 4.
SEVEN CHURCH AGES CHAPTER 1
But when John looked he saw only "ONE" upon the throne.
And it was not until Revelation 5:6-8 (which follows Revelation 4:2-3 in sequence of time)
that we see the "Lamb" taking the book from "HIM" That sat on the throne, as indicated in Revelation 4:2-3 and 9-10.
JOHN 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
One big secret about God. He tells us what is going to happen before it happens. We receive a revelation of the event before the actual event happens.
Isaiah saw a vision of the virgin birth about 700 years before Jesus was actually born.
ISAIAH 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
We have inner peace only if we stay with Scripture.
The church-goers have their great leaders whose quotes they slavishly follow. They hate the Bible believers who insist on Scriptural verses.
Churches now focus on character assassination. Killing the influence of anyone who tries to prove their beliefs only by being Scriptural.
But however hard they try, message preachers cannot make the Cloud of 1963 fit into Revelation Chapter 10.
Their good cheer is very fragile because they know there is something wrong with their theory. They made the mistake of not building on Scripture.
By building on carefully selected quotes they have the big problem that other quotes will contradict their ideas. This leaves their ideas feeling threatened. That is not good for their peace of mind.
They believe that the mighty Angel of Revelation Chapter 10 came down when brother Branham was on earth.
But those who are waiting for the Angel to come down can be of good cheer. Scripture will come to pass.
But the overlooked issue is that the Angel comes down to perform the resurrection.
By standing on land and sea He takes possession of everywhere that all the saints from the seven church ages are buried.
REVELATION 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
REVELATION 10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
REVELATION 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
'cried with a loud voice'. This happened at the resurrection of Lazarus.
JOHN 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
"when he had cried".
This caused the resurrection of the Old Testament saints.
MATTHEW 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
A year after the Cloud of 1963, brother Branham is waiting for the Angel.
So the Cloud was not the Angel.
1964-0119 SHALOM
But, remember, if it goes plumb into the shadows of death, "I am the resurrection and Life; I'll raise him up again." And when the great Director comes down and bears that stick down, then, "time shall be no more." When that Angel, of Revelation the 10th chapter, puts one foot on land and one on the sea, and a rainbow over His head, He swore, "time shall be no more." When that time comes, you'll rise up from among the dead. While the rest of them lay there, you'll go in.
Stay in the Symphony. Stay in God's Word. No matter how hard it is, stay right with It, wherever God is beating.
65-1127 I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE
Dear God, in this solemn moment, it's going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday, and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.
In the last month of his life brother Branham was still waiting for the Archangel to come down to raise the dead.
So this Angel never came down while brother Branham was still alive on earth.
The dead have not raised yet, so this Angel has not yet come down.
