Job 33:23-26 - A messenger must expose error

Job 33:23-26 gives us a good insight into events at the end of our church age.

JOB 33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Our understanding improves if we are able to link some Bible verses together.

DEUTERONOMY 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

God allows us to know some things that He has revealed. As time moves on God reveals more and more. There are things that remain an unknown mystery to us until such time as He chooses to reveal them to us. Then we have to recognize who he uses to speak to us.

But we are not good at recognizing God’s messengers. We prefer to destroy them. Today we are too civilized to kill people so we indulge in character assassination or we pervert the teachings that they brought. Either way we cause  their message to be less effective.

Look how the Jews, God’s chosen people, treated God’s prophets.

MATTHEW 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

:35  That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

This is a clever play on words. Abel to Zecharias. A to Z. All of them.

:37   O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Jesus wanted to protect the Jews. But they were not interested. Their minds were made up. They were wrapped up in themselves and their synagogue leaders. The equivalent of today's church leaders.

As humans, we rebel against God. In rejecting God and those who He sends to teach us, we consider ourselves to be very clever. But our cleverness cannot save us from the grave and the hereafter.

We lack knowledge of God and the Bible. Thus we head for destruction in the coming great Tribulation. Especially at the end when God rejects us.

HOSEA 4:6    My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,

So did God send someone to instruct us today? Yes.

John the Baptist had come and gone and the disciples did not believe that he was the promised Elijah to forerun the Messiah.

MARK 1:2    As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

God sent this great messenger and the disciples all missed him.

MARK 1:3   The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

People just do not want to listen to God. A messenger from God will arrive and be rejected and ignored. He will just be a voice in the wilderness where few will listen. The rest are too clever. Too smug in their own conceits. They do not need to hear from God.

On the Mount of Transfiguration, about one year before His death, the disciples suddenly realized that Jesus was the Messiah.

Why did not Elijah (or Elias in the Greek) come first to warn us and prepare us, they asked.

MATTHEW 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

:11    And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

Jesus, very unexpectedly, replies in the future tense. John the Baptist is already dead at this time.

But Jesus said that Elias (or Elijah in the Hebrew) is going to come first.

A prophet will come to prepare us for the Second Coming of Jesus to catch away His resurrected church of New Testament saints after their resurrection.

I THESSALONIANS 4:16    For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

:17    Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

But before that happens there must first be a restoration of what was lost.

MATTHEW 17:11    And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

John the Baptist restored nothing.

The Jews had their Law and their Temple and neither of those helped them to recognize their Messiah. So the Jews did not need to be restored to their Law. They needed to move on from the Law to the covenant of Grace and being born again.

John the Baptist introduced a baptism of repentance to the Jews. He then introduced the Messiah to the Jews.

Messiah alone could introduce the new birth and the Holy Ghost baptism. Both of these were brand new concepts to the Jews.

So why is a restoration needed in the future?

II THESSALONIANS 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,

The early church would start well under the guidance of the apostles.

But as the years rolled by the church would fall away from their strict belief in the New Testament.

Eventually, in the awful Dark Ages, there would be very little Bible truth left.

But after the Reformation, there would be a slow return to Bible beliefs in salvation, holiness, and the Holy Ghost baptism.

It was as if the first church age had been a seed that had been planted. Three million Christians were killed in the first two church ages by the pagan Roman empire. Then Constantine stopped the killing in AD 312 and forcibly introduced the Trinity doctrine into the church at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325. Within a hundred years the Roman Catholic church was killing dissenters in order to defend the Trinity doctrine.

Then the Dark Ages became the dirt that covered the Seed of truth. Germination started in the Reformation as Martin Luther in Germany preached salvation by faith alone.

John Wesley in England preached holiness and outreach. This led to the great missionary age where the tassels formed on the plant and the pollen blew around the world.

The Pentecostal outpouring in Azusa Street in Los Angeles was the husk that formed in order to use the supernatural power of God to protect the revealed Word as it slowly returned to what the early church had believed in the New Testament.

One more step was necessary to complete the restoration of Bible truth. That was the revelation of the the mysteries of the written Word that the reformers were unable to understand.

But then came a very clever counter-attack by Satan.

The King James Version of the Bible was attacked by church-goers. Over a hundred different English versions of the Bible, all different, were produced to replace the King James Version. Take you pick.

Then the church world splintered into 45000 different kinds of denominational and non-denominational churches.

All believing different things and all claiming to be right.

That is when a messenger (“angel” in the Greek) would be needed to restore us from the error of church traditions and opinions back to the basic beliefs of the New Testament church.

Today almost every church is ruled by a pastor.

Yet the word pastor only appears once in the New Testament.

Thus there is no Bible evidence for a pastor to rule the church as a human leader.

The early church never believed that we had to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

They never had the word Christmas, nor Christmas trees, nor the date 25 December.

Jeremiah told us not to copy the pagan tradition of decorating trees.

JEREMIAH 10:2   Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

:3   For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

:4   They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

:5   They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not:

The first church age believed the wise men went into a house to see a young Child, not into a stable to see a baby.

MATTHEW 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother,

Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, Lent, steeples, archbishops, cardinals, Popes are all unscriptural.

Easter bunnies sound harmless. So why are they a symbol of Ishtar's Spring Festival?

Rabbits are the fastest mammal breeders. Ishtar was the goddess (also known as Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod)  who created a legend whereby she came down in an egg onto the river Euphrates and hatched out in Spring. This was the Ishtar egg.

After Nimrod was killed (he was represented as a tree that had been cut down), Ishtar (or Semiramis) celebrated her Spring festival towards the end of March, which was always a riotous sex orgy. Nine months later, towards the end of December, her child Tammuz was born. She claimed that this child was the resurrection of Nimrod. Hence the importance of the December tree. When a tree is cut down it is often able to regrow. So this became the symbol of Tammuz. The cut down tree was decorated to celebrate the birth of Tammuz.

Hugh Hefner who corrupted millions with his Playboy magazine had young women dressed up in bunny outfits. So Easter bunnies are not as harmless as people think.

Hot cross buns in Springtime. The round bun was to worship the moon goddess or Semiramis. The      stood for the  "t" in Tammuz. He would be born later in December around mid-winter.

The pagan Roman emperor Aurelian made 25 December the birthday of the sun god in AD 274. Around AD 350 Pope Julius I made 25 December the birthday of the Son of God. This became Christ's mass or Christmas.

All of this had nothing to do with the early church as John finished the last Book, the Revelation, shortly before AD 100.

So Christmas is just evidence of the church drifting away from the path of Scripture.

We need a prophet to restore us back to Bible truth and away from pagan festivals.

53-0403 THE  CRUELTY  OF  SIN  AND  THE  PENALTY  THAT  IT  COST  TO  RID  SIN  FROM  OUR  LIVES
... and the women buying their Easter hats and so forth. What has this come to? My, how I can't understand where a rabbit has anything to do with the resurrection (See? No, sir.), or how a Christmas tree has anything to do with the birth of Christ. It's pagan, friends. We've got off the path somewhere. That's right. But now a real born again man or woman realizes, because there's life within you, tells you that that's wrong.

56-0311  THE  TRUE  AND  FALSE  VINES
There will be tens of thousands times thousands of dollars spent for Easter flowers to go on the altar. Why, brother, that's pagan. God never had an altar for Easter flowers; that's what Cain put on it. And coming Easter... But they don't even... The world has got even Easter, Christmas, and every thing else, till it's a great day of commercial, nothing about God in it. What in the world's Easter got to do with a rabbit, or a chicken, or a yellow duck, or something? We are just as pagan as the heathens are and worse than they are in Africa.

60-1204  THE  PATMOS  VISION

In a few weeks, or even right now, there's reindeers and Santa Clauses and jingle bells and all kinds of things hanging up, which is pagan ceremony. It's an article of the Catholic church. People paying great prices and swapping presents and things like that, pagan! Christmas is a day of worship.

61-1217 CHRISTIANITY  VERSUS  IDOLATRY

Celebration of Christmas, pagan, devil-worship

64-0719  THE  FEAST  OF  THE  TRUMPETS
There is that Roman empire, bound there by what? The ecclesiastical powers. Which, Rome, pagan Rome become papal Rome, and was bound there in its traditions of Christian. What part of Christian, and superstitions it had of Rome putting together all these; worship of women, and all these other kind of stuff, and Christmas days, and holidays, and holy days, and things. It's been bound with that tradition that it cannot let loose, because it's against Christian principles. Still the same ungodly, pagan spirit! And that spirit caught into the nations of the world, according to the prophecies of Ezekiel and the rest of the them.

Eve was not punished for eating a fruit but for being pregnant. She had conceived a child.

GENESIS 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;

Why was it a sin for her to be pregnant?

It could only be a sin if Adam was not the father. Because Adam was her lawful husband.

The only other punishment was handed out to the serpent, the top and most subtle mammal. The serpent was above the ape but below man.

The serpent was able to speak and understand.

Nowhere in the Bible does Satan ever make an animal speak. That is beyond His powers.

So the serpent was the guilty party. He was cursed and forced to crawl on his belly. Punishment fits the crime. He was lying on his belly on top of Eve when he introduced her to the sex act. Blood was shed when her veil of virginity was broken.

The original sin involved an animal mammal shedding blood.

So God would only accept the shed blood of a mammal to atone for sin.

The belly button is thus the mark of the beast on our bodies. It dooms us to die.

A day with God is as a thousand years.

II PETER 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

GENESIS 2:17   But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Born of sex dooms everybody to die within a day, one thousand years.

Methuselah lived the longest. He made 969 years.

Eve was supposed to bring forth the virgin-born Son. Jesus would grow up and there would be no sin to die for. Then He would speak all His saints out of the dust of the earth. Just the right number to fill the earth.

The modern churches desperately hide what happened in Eden as they cannot explain original sin.

The word Trinity is not in the Bible.

Look at all the unscriptural expressions used to explain the Trinity.

“God the Son”.

“God the Holy Ghost”.

“Three People in the Godhead”.

“Of one essence”.

“Three-in-One”.

“First Person of the Godhead”.

“Second Person of the Godhead”.

“Third Person of the Godhead”.

“One God in three Persons”.

"Jesus is in the Godhead".

Then comes a surprising conclusion.

Trinitarians cannot find one name for three People, so God loses His name.

Church-goers say, “In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost”.

But they cannot tell us what that name is. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are titles, not names.

Ask a church-goer what the name of the Trinity God is and watch how evasive they get.

The Trinity is a mystery that nobody can explain.

So at the end time, we need to look for a prophet who can restore us out of the traditional church errors and back to the basic beliefs of the New Testament church.

REVELATION 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The Trinity God is a mystery.

But the mystery will be finished one day.

Thus a better revelation of the Godhead will emerge at the end to replace the Trinity.

A prophet is sent to finish the mystery of God.

The Bible is the Word of God. Thus we need a prophet to explain to us what the Bible means.

Explain to us Who God is and what His name is.

Explain to us what original sin was all about and why women still suffer in childbirth. (A weird penalty because a woman supposedly ate an apple 6000 years ago after God had declared that all the fruit trees were good).

JOB 33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

A messenger to interpret Scripture in a way that we can link the Bible verses together in a way that proves that there is one God, Jesus Christ, Who alone is our upright Saviour.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

ISAIAH 43:11   I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

No Saviour sits or stands beside God.

HEBREWS 1:3   Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,

The supernatural Spirit of God dwells fully in the person of Jesus Christ.

John the Baptist was the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MARK 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

MARK 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

So Jesus, in this future tense prophecy that Elias shall come and restore, is not talking about John the Baptist who had already forerun His First Coming.

He was warning them about another prophet who would forerun His second Coming.

But, just like John the Baptist, this end-time prophet would be ignored and overlooked, despite having an impressive ministry.

So Jesus basically says that there is an Elijah to come and there has just been an Elijah in the past.

How was the Elijah treated who had just come? They couldn't withstand him to his face but they could not wait to get rid of him especially when he spoke on the topic of marriage and divorce.

John the Baptist condemned Herod for marrying his brother's wife and Herod killed him.

William Branham agreed with John the Baptist as he said that a genuine marriage vow is sacred and is binding until death.

64-0823E QUESTIONS  AND  ANSWERS.2

As long as they take that vow, they're married. Just like a boy, if a boy promises a girl to marry her under good faith, he's obligated to that girl. He's just as good as married her. The only thing the law does, is give you a--a bill of rights to live together to keep from being common-law husband and wife. But when a man tells a woman, "I will marry you, Honey; I will take you for my wife. Will you take..." he's married.
Your vow is sacred; that's what marries you anyhow. There's not no preacher can marry you, no magistrate, or nothing else; it's your own vow to God and to this man. When you promise, you are married.

63-0324   QUESTIONS  AND  ANSWERS  ON  THE  SEALS

Now, Brother Branham, is there any Scripture permitting marriage after divorce. This is very important.
It says important. Well, that's the reason it wasn't pertaining to this. As far as I can see, my brother or sister, whoever it may be, there isn't unless your companion's dead, because the Bible said we're bound to them as long as they live. See?
So as--as far as being any Scripture, that's what was asked here: "Is there Scripture. See? Is there any Scripture?" Not as I can find. See? Not as I can find, 'cause Paul said that the married couple, if the companion's dead, then they're free then to marry whomsoever they will in the Lord. But until then... But watch. You take it, "Until death we part..."
That's it. You've done took an oath over that (You see?), so I don't think there is.

Thus there is no such thing as divorce and remarriage after a legal marriage.

Your marriage vow is until death part you. Nothing else can end a legal marriage.

59-0628E QUESTIONS  AND  ANSWERS

Jesus said in

MATTHEW 19:9 "Whosoever putteth away his wife and marries another, except it be for the cause of fornications, commits adultery."

The difference between fornications and adultery, the word could be applied either way. But to make it clear what he was talking of there, that a woman that's unmarried cannot commit adultery, because she has no husband to commit adultery against. It's uncleanliness for her. She has to confess that to her husband before they are married if she's did that. If not and her husband finds it out later, he has a right to put her away, because she took a false vow.

There is no such thing as divorce and remarriage if the original marriage is legal. But if a woman is not a virgin before she gets married, she must confess that to her future husband. If he forgives her then they can get legally married. After that they cannot divorce and remarry.

But if she does not confess that then she takes a false vow and the marriage is not legally binding. If the husband finds out later then he can divorce her if he wishes because the false vow is not binding on him. Thus he may remarry.

MATTHEW 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

:13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

So long after John’s death, the disciples slowly realized that a messenger had arrived before the first Coming, but had been overwhelmingly ignored.

Why? John had disagreed with the churches of that day (that were called synagogues). And nobody’s character will survive long under the virulent attacks of churchgoers who are defending their unscriptural church traditions.

Not even Jesus survived longer than 3½ years. Then the synagogue-goers and temple-goers had had enough.

MALACHI 4:5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

:6   And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Two ministeries that are 2000 years apart can be referred to in one verse.

If you feel that is impossible

ISAIAH 61:2   To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God;

LUKE 4:19   To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

:20   And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

:21   And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Jesus only read out the first half of ISAIAH 61:2. That was his ministry of grace and mercy. Both of which are most acceptable to mankind.

The second half of verse 2 refers to the Tribulation that will happen 2000 years later when God gets His revenge in the Tribulation.

The ministeries of John the Baptist and William Branham are linked.

MALACHI 4:6   And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers,

John the Baptist only performed the first half of this verse. He turned the disobedient Jewish fathers to their just children, Jesus and His apostles, as they  had the true wisdom for that age.

LUKE 1:17   And he [John the Baptist] shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

That leaves the second half of MALACHI 4:6 unfulfilled.

The apostles, who were the children being trained up by Jesus, grew up to become the fathers of the early church. We at the end time are the children who have to be turned back to the Bible beliefs of the apostolic fathers through the teachings of William Branham.

MALACHI 4:6  ... and the heart of the children to their fathers,

JOB 33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

We need someone to reveal the Bible truths so that we do not slide down the slippery unscriptural paths of modern day churches.

A bottomless pit out of which endless variations and opinions emerge to feed the 45000 different denominations.

Our ransom Who paid the price is Jesus. And He only says what is found written in the Bible.

JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.

The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to guide us into all truth.

By ignoring the revelations of the end time prophet the churches become incapable of interpreting Scripture by themselves.

The Bride will take the quotes of William Branham and run them through the relevant Scriptures on each topic. That way they will gain an understanding of what the Scripture means.

Message-believers will mess up when they try to develop doctrines based on quotes, especially when certain  quotes contradict each other.

Quotes must reveal the Scripture, not replace the Scripture.

JOB 33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

When will the old become young again?

When will adults have better flesh than what children have?

At the time of the resurrection of the dead and the changing of the bodies of the living saints.

The whole aim of the end time prophet was to get the last church age to return to the beliefs of the first church age.

The seventh or last church age ends in the resurrection of the dead and the changing of the living believers into their immortal bodies.

Those new eternal bodies will be far better than the lovely flesh of any child.

Everyone who will be changed will be given a new body that looks about 25 years old when people are at the peak of their physical powers.

I CORINTHIANS 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

There is no blood in Heaven.

Blood is linked to the original sin which is why blood must be shed to atone for sin.

The belly button, an unsightly scar, remains the mark of the beast on our bodies.

It is our death sentence. Born of sex we have to die.

Only the perfect blood of Jesus can atone for our sins.

Our new immortal bodies will have no blood in them and no belly buttons.

I CORINTHIANS 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Sleep is a symbol of death.

The living saints will be changed into immortal bodies at the coming of the Lord.

I CORINTHIANS 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The change will be instantaneous.

The dead will be resurrected first, and then the living will be changed.

Changed physically and also changed in the way that we think.

So do not hang onto unscriptural church beliefs too strongly. Our thinking will change at the end.

Judas was an apostle and he fell at the end. So it is easy to lose the right path.

(President Trump is endlessly in the headlines. Is his name a sign of the times? Are we approaching the time for the “trump” that raises the dead?)

JOB 33:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

This verse applies to an individual.

We are not saved by a church nor by any pastor.

We are saved by our personal faith in Jesus Christ which has to be based on the Bible.

REVELATION 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;

This is talking about the seventh angel or messenger to the seventh or last church age.

But the message is tragic.

Jesus Christ, the Word of God, stands outside the church door.

He is not wanted inside the church.

Church-goers prefer their unscriptural church traditions that make them popular.

So Jesus is trying to get the attention, not of the church, but of an individual in the church.

REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Each individual has to overcome the barrier of unbelief that the unscriptural church traditions have erected. The overcomer today has to be able to believe the Bible in the face of opposing church traditions.

The enemy is no longer outside the church.

The enemy is inside the church.

And Judas was an apostle, a church leader.

He also had a firm hold on the money bag.

But he wanted more money for betraying Jesus, the Word.

Church leadership hasn’t changed over the centuries.

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” — 1 Corinthians 16:23
