Hebrews 05 A High Priest Who suffered for us

Melchizedek (God in a temporary body made from a handful of earth) gave Abraham "bread and wine", an amazing promise.

The promise of the true spiritual Seed of Abraham, Who is Jesus, not just for the Promised Land of the Jews who were Abraham's natural seed, but for the Saviour of everyone who can believe.

After speaking to Abraham, God went back to Heaven and His temporary body returned to the dust.

Caiaphas, the Levitical High Priest, cracked under pressure when he faced his real Rival, the High Priest of Melchizedek.

Caiaphas saw Jesus as the ultimate threat to his Position (ego) and money (greed). In a moment of demonic fury that he was being upstaged, he tore his clothes. (ENVY started with Lucifer in Heaven wanting to be like God. Cain feared and envied Abel for having his sacrifice accepted. Typical of humanity, he killed his rival).  Tearing his clothes broke the Law for the High Priest and ended the Levitical Priesthood. God tore up the Temple veil and even stopped using Hebrew as the New Testament was written in Greek. Pastors today brag about their knowledge of Hebrew. The Jews knew Hebrew and killed their Messiah. Knowing Hebrew was of no help to them.

Today they kill Jesus by changing the Word of God because Jesus is the Word of God.

Jesus had prepared for that moment when Caiaphas would condemn Him to death.

He had just eaten the Passover. A stew with gravy, because He dipped bread into the gravy as a sop to give to Judas.

Judas would betray Him to the Levitical Priesthood. Then the Priests would betray the Law of Moses with their illegal nighttime trial of Jesus. Then Caiaphas tore his clothes to end the Levitical Priesthood. The Jewish Passover became invalid.

The "Passover" lamb was only killed the next afternoon and roasted. After sunset, when it became the next day, it was eaten as the "Feast of the Passover". The Passover was the 14th day when the Passover stew and gravy were eaten and the next afternoon the Passover lamb was killed. The Jewish day went from sunset to sunset. The Feast of the Passover was the 15th day when the roasted Passover lamb was eaten. This was a High Day, one of eight special Sabbaths that were not Saturdays.

Jesus ended the Passover by changing the rules. He ate the Passover stew and gravy and then gave out the bread and wine that linked Him to Melchizedek.

His body would die and His blood would save everyone who would believe in Him. This was a new Passover of the spiritual Passover Lamb. This was the spiritual fulfillment of the Passover that replaced the Jewish Passover that ended that night when Caiaphas tore his clothes.

Later that night of the 14th, Caiaphas would disqualify himself by tearing his clothes and make the killing of a natural lamb invalid.

As the High Priest, Jesus would orchestrate His own death as the Passover Lamb. He was the High Priest in charge of the real Passover Sacrifice and He was the Passover Sacrifice. Nobody could ever compete with that achievement. Nobody but Jesus could ever be the Saviour.

GENESIS 22:8  “And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.”

Four enemy Roman soldiers tore up His clothes but they left His outer garment, His badge of office, untorn as they gambled for it. This showed that He was the true High Priest.

The Priesthood that was above the people became corrupt

The High Priest highlights the necessity of a go-between, a mediator, who can bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity.

The High Priest has a shared humanity and empathy. He was appointed by God as a descendant of Aaron, there was no self-promotion or political involvement in this position.

JOHN 18:13  And they led Him [Jesus] away to Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas who was high priest that year.

Aaron was High Priest for life, there were no term limits. He was not appointed for a specific year or period of years. Nobody could be appointed High Priest while Aaron lived. When he died, he had to be followed by his oldest son.

The Levitical High Priesthood had become a corrupt, money-making business. It was supposed to go from father to son, but now father-in-law had usurped the position.

The Romans had made Caiaphas High Priest. Religion and politics had combined. His position only lasted for a while, provided the Romans were happy with him.

Caiaphas shared the High Priest office with his father-in-law. This made Caiaphas and Annas illegitimate High Priests.

LUKE 3:2  “Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests,

the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.”

Giving men power and money ended in a colossal failure.

HEBREWS 5.01  "Gifts and sacrifices". Gifts are voluntary. Sacrifice hurts when it is done God's way.

Christ offered His Life as a gift to the unsaved. His sacrifice was the most painful death. He was shown no mercy.

The Priests above the people did not sacrifice, they became a den of thieves.

God looks for the Rejects

And then at the return of the Church and the Bride, the Bride and Christ shall walk out upon their ashes, in the Millennium, when the earth is purified by fire. And there they shall reign.

And the heathens that’s never heard the Gospel shall be raised in that time,

and the sons of God will be manifested. If he’s to reign, he’s got to have something to reign over, he’s got a domain. “And they ruled and reigned with Christ,” and Christ ruled with a rod of iron, the nations.

Those ignorant heathens who never heard the Gospel, and who managed to survive Armageddon, will go into the Millennium and be ruled by Christ. None of the foolish virgins will be in the Millennium. They were saved but fooled by their church leaders so they cannot claim to be ignorant. They were just too complacent and too lazy to do the hard work of understanding the Scriptures. Wanting entertainment, they spent too much time doomscrolling and getting involved with the errors and wrong opinions that flourish on the internet and social media. They miss the Second Coming and will end up in great tribulation where they will be viciously killed.

Jesus is the Way.
In the Luke 14 parable, a Supper is prepared by a man, representing the Wedding Supper in Heaven for the Bride that is caught up to meet the Lord in the air. All the saved people in the churches are invited. But they all make excuses because they prefer to do something different, that is not written in Scripture. They love the unscriptural ideas in the church. Nobody is interested in the invitation because in order to get there, we have to return to the beliefs of the First Church age of the apostles. Only then can we be caught up to the Wedding Supper.  Modern churches cannot become Scriptural because the early church never had a Pastor as the head of the church. Thus, to get there, all the Pastors of today have to lose their cozy "head of the church" pay packets. That is too big a sacrifice to make in order to be Scriptural the way the first church was.

The man, in the parable, arranges a healing campaign, represented by brother Branham's amazing supernatural ministry from 1947 t0 1965. This inspired and revived many Pentecostal healing ministries. But God wanted both Spirit and Truth to be revived. So, who would have enough COURAGE to oppose the organized religion of the churches and believe that the King James Bible is infallible. Who would use brother Branham's Revelation of the Seals in Revelation Chapter 6 to understand the mysteries of the Bible and realize that we have to be restored back to the apostolic beliefs of the New Testament church.

This is very difficult because no Parable concerning the end-time church and no Prophecy concerning the end-time church says anything good about the end-time church. Church-goers, relying for safety on their regular church attendance, call themselves the wise virgins who have the oil of the Holy Ghost, in the Parable of Matthew 25. But they overlook the next line that says all the virgins, both wise and foolish, slumbered and slept. The entire church community, both wise and foolish, are all very soundly fast asleep. Notice the emphasis that is indicated by repetition. "Slumbered and slept".

MATTHEW 25:5   “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.”

MATTHEW 25:6  “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

The Bible never asked us to celebrate Christmas. Jeremiah 10 asks us not to copy the heathen custom of cutting down a tree, setting it upright, and decorating it with gold and silver. Our so-called Christmas tree.

Good Friday is unscriptural. If Jesus died on Friday then He was in the tomb for two nights, Friday night and Saturday night, before He rose on Sunday.

This contradicts what Jesus said. He claimed He would be in the tomb for 3 nights.

MATTHEW 12:40  “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

The church does not believe the King James Bible to be the Word of God, and rejects It by claiming that it is a flawed translation. But Jesus is the Word, thus He stands outside the church door, knocking on the church door.

REVELATION 3:14  “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;

Jesus calls out to individuals in the church, not to the whole church.

His message to the whole church is a promise to vomit them out of His mouth (where the Word is spoken) because they are all partly Scriptural and partly unscriptural.

Hot water makes tea. Cold water makes cooldrink. Lukewarm water is bland and insipid, of no real use to anyone.

REVELATION 3:16  “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

The man in the Luke 14 parable, orders one final move at the end-time to collect people with the courage to oppose the unscriptural church systems and traditions. God is today looking for people with enough courage to oppose the Pastors and their unscriptural church errors. Jesus had to oppose the Jewish Priests in His day.

HEBREWS 5:02   Go collect those who are "out of the way".

Jesus is the way.

Not in the churches. In the highways. The highway robbers or criminals and in the hedges. Homeless and rejected. These dropouts on the scrap heap of society form the end time Bride. Unwanted by everyone. These "bad" people have to be forced to become Scriptural. But they are not scared to oppose unscriptural church leaders. Continual rejection means that they have no desire to belong to churches that lack Christ and King James Bible truth.

LUKE 14:23   “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

LUKE 14:24  “For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.”

They insist that the 7 Thunders have uttered or are uttering. But brother Branham never said that.

They believe that brother Branham is infallible. He denied that.

They call brother Branham the son of man, but that is the title of Jesus.

To make me the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, would be an antichrist.
Putting too much focus on brother Branham and just relying on his quotes, has caused Message churches to undermine his ministry, which was to make us Scriptural as he restored us back to the apostolic church of the New Testament.

Message preachers claim wrongly that the mighty Angel of Revelation 10 came down to open the 7 Seals for brother Branham.

And when the great Director comes down and bears that stick down, then, "time shall be no more."

When that Angel, of Revelation the 10th chapter, puts one foot on land and one on the sea,

and a rainbow over His head, He swore, "time shall be no more." When that time comes,

you will rise up from among the dead.

While the rest of them lay there, you will go in.

The mighty Angel does not come down to reveal the mysteries. He comes down for the resurrection.

Thus the Angel has not come down so far, as the resurrection has not happened.

When the Angel comes down, time stops for the resurrecred saints because they will be in Eternal bodies. The living Bride will have their bodies changed into Eternal bodies.

Nobody in an eternal body will wear a watch or carry a cell phone.

“Dear God, in this solemn moment, it's going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday,

and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout,

with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.”

This was one month before brother Branham died. Thus, the Angel never came down in his lifetime.

The High Priests had infirmities as they stood above the people.

The churches have elevated up a Priesthood of Pastors above the congregation. But their ignorance of the written Scriptures means that their doctrines are full of mistakes and mental infirmities.

Message Pastors wearing expensive watches and saying that the Angel came down more than 60 years ago to end time.

HEBREWS 5:03  “And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.”

The High Priest had to offer sacrifice for his own sins. Modern day church leaders have to explain why there are over 2000 different kinds of churches and denominations. That alone shows that there is a flood tide of error sweeping through the churches. The blind lead the blind towards the ditch of great tribulation which will be a savage wake-up call from the cozy complacency of today's church-goers.

But there are no mistakes in the King James Bible. You must base your faith on what is written in that Bible. Not on a theory of the seven Thunders which was never written in the Bible.

If you reject the King James Bible as flawed, then you have to choose between more than 100 alternative Bibles that are all different. Thus Christians today now believe that no Bible is perfect. They are happy to criticize any Bible but do not dare to criticize their church!

Rely on the King James Bible that has no faults, rather than on a human church leader who does have faults.

What you give to Jesus shows Him what you think He is

The High Priest had to be appointed by God. No man could promote himself to this office.

The Holy Ghost came down in the form of a Star to guide wise men to Christ. God was calling and appointing this Child.

Supernatural angels sung at His birth and illiterate shepherds were called to witness His birth.

HEBREWS 5:05  “So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.”

The supernatural "God the Father" created a perfect human Being by means of the virgin birth. No part of Mary was involved in this perfect Child. That is why Jesus called her woman, and not mother.

Jesus spoke to Mary and John from the cross.

JOHN 19:26  “When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!”

The supernatural "God the Father" fully indwelled this "Son of God", Jesus Christ.

God is Spirit, not flesh and bone. Thus the Man, Jesus, is not God.

The Bible never says "God the Son".

But all of God dwelled within Him. That made Jesus God. You are everything that is inside you.

COLOSSIANS 2:9  “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

The two-year-old Child Jesus, destined to be the High Priest, did not glorify Himself. The Holy Ghost led wise men to Him to offer Him exceptional presents that expressed His honour and glory.

Their presents described the unique and extreme sacrifice that He was to pay. Jesus was born to die.

Wise men worshipped Him because wise men only worship God. And what a sacrifice God was preparing.

MATTHEW 2:11  “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young CHILD with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

The gifts the wise men gave Jesus showed Who they thought He was.

Gold never rusts or changes. It symbolizes God.

MALACHI 3:6   “For I am the LORD, I change not;

therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

Myrrh is used to embalm the dead.

The wise men thought this young Child was God in the flesh, coming down to perform an acceptable sacrifice. He was going to die for our sins.

Torn robes ended the High Priesthood

This other place was the Book of Psalms. The Psalms were written to praise God.

This teaches us a deep truth. When our path leads us into sacrifice, injustice, false accusations, and intense pain then we must not forget to still praise God.

Bad days strengthen us. The worst days teach us a lesson. But it is all for our good.

ROMANS 8:28  “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

PSALMS 110:4  “The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Hebrew).

God created a temporary human body for Himself out of a handful of dust and came down and spoke to Abraham. Then God went back to Heaven and the body went back to dust.

HEBREWS 7:3  “Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.”

GENESIS 14:18  “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.”

There cannot be two High Priests. The Levitical High Priest Caiaphas had to be disqualified in order to end the Levitical Priesthood, so that Jesus could take over as the High Priest of Melchizedek.

Having a Levitical Priesthood above the people had turned out to be a disaster. The Priests were obsessed with power, condemning the truth which opposed them, and greedily making money. They thus led their people to reject Jesus.

The New Testament church made the same mistake. After the apostles died, a Priesthood of Priests was elevated above the Roman Catholic congregations to collect the tithes. The congregations become increasingly Bible-illiterate.

This mistake was repeated by the Protestants after the Reformation when they established a Priesthood of Pastors above the people to collect the tithes. A Pastor is good at Pastoral care, which is helping people with their personal problems. But this gives him no skills in terms of joining Bible verses together to reveal deep patterns running from Genesis to Revelation. That is the ministry of Bible teachers. Bible teachers have to teach from the Bible, they cannot teach just from quotes.

The Pastor can hold people together with his interpersonal skills, but then he hand over to the Bible teacher so that they can be restored to an understanding of the apostolic New Testament church.

Nobody is above anybody else. All born again Christians are Priests of the Order of Melchizedek and thus equal to each other, even though some are more talented than others. Only the High Priest, Jesus Christ, is above us. Jesus is the Word of God. We must learn the truth from the Word of God.

1 PETER 2:9  “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, ..."

He introduced the feet washing

The Passover ended when Levitical High Priest Caiaphas tore his garment as this broke the Law.

MATTHEW 26:65   “Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy;

LEVITICUS 10:6  “And Moses said unto Aaron [the Levitical High Priest], and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.”

God tore up the Temple veil to show that the Jewish Temple worship had ended.

MATTHEW 27:51  “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”

Thus it was never torn. Proving that Jesus was the true High Priest.

JOHN 19:23  “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.”

Our souls were saved at Calvary

The ultimate example of Jesus. The flesh of a Christian has to suffer in order to make us obedient to the will of the indwelling God the Father. When we sacrifice and suffer hardship, we testify to our determination to put God first in our lives.

We must fear God sufficiently as that will force us to accept His Will before our own desires.

We must allow God to take us through a hardship that we do not want to go through.

The key idea is that God knows more than us and we must not try to avoid His Will and guidance in our lives.

He is not a God of comfort and convenience.

We are involved in a desperate struggle against sin and unbelief.

God must come before our friends, our family, and ourselves.

If He is not Lord of all, then He is not Lord at all.

We can only come alive in Christ when we die to self.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:31  “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord,

I die daily.”

When we suffer then we feel that God has abandoned us. When we suffer then we doubt God.

One of our most important revelations is to learn to trust God when everything is going wrong.

God's ways are not our ways. We have to learn to obey God's Scripture, rather like a pilot in thick fog has to trust his instruments completely. The King James Bible is our spiritual compass. We must believe that It is the perfect and infallible Word of God. Our circumstances and our feelings cannot influence us to doubt the truth of Scripture.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, all of our revolting and disgusting sins began to settle on Jesus, so that He could carry them to Calvary to wash them in His Blood. That was the most horrendous shock to His perfectly pure mind. But He did what the supernatural Spirit of God within Him demanded. He accepted that slithering and obscene pollution as His own in order to save us from the deserved consequences of our sins.

HEBREWS 5:09  “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;”

As a Person, Jesus always was perfect.

He was infallible, with no human flaws. His ministry was to be the Messiah, and to achieve that He had to be the perfect fulfilment of all the Old Testament prophecies.

Jonah was three nights in the whale's belly and then went to the Gentile city of Nineveh where his preaching had a very successful effect, despite his complaints about these Gentiles.

Jesus was three nights in the tomb while His Holy Ghost defeated Satan down in the depths of the earth. The Gospel then left the Jews and spread to the Gentiles where millions have been saved over the 2000 years of church history. But Peter did not like the Gentiles and it took God time to persuade Peter to take the Gospel to the Gentiles.

David was anointed king as a boy but could only become king when his enemy Saul died. Between those two events David ate the sacred Shewbread that only Priests could eat, and God never punished him. Why?

Jesus was anointed King by the Holy Spirit at the River Jordan. But Jesus will only become King when the man of sin, the final Pope, is killed at the Battle of Armageddon. In between these two events, Jesus has been the High Priest of the church.

David lived out part of the life of Christ, as anointed and later made king. In between these two events David was allowed to perform the function of a Priest.

Moses held up a brass serpent on a wooden staff. Jews who looked at this lifted-up serpent were healed of their snakebites.

Jesus was lifted up on a wooden cross and took all our sins upon Himself. If we look to Calvary and repent of our sins, then we are forgiven of the sins that would doom us to hell.

As Jesus fulfilled all the conditions of Messiah, so He became or was made, the perfect Messiah.

Eternal salvation of the soul happened once only, at Calvary.

His sacrifice was brutal but final. There could never again be a sacrifice for sins.

PSALMS 49:8  “(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)”

John 19:30   “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

REVELATION 17:8  “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder,

whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world,

when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

Jesus had to become the High Priest of Melchizedek

Melchizedek was a Priest, not a High Priest.

How did Jesus become the High Priest? He had to be washed and anointed which is what Moses did to Aaron.

EXODUS 40:12   “And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.”

Aaron's holy outer garments were his badge of office as High Priest. Those were the garments that High Priest Caiaphas tore.

Jesus came to John the Baptist in the River Jordan in AD 29 when He was a few months short of His thirtieth birthday.

MATTHEW 3:14  “But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?”

MATTHEW 3:15  “And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.”

Having been washed and anointed, Jesus was now the established High Priest of the order of Melchizedek.

His ministry could now begin.

Truth is hidden in deeper patterns in the Bible

People do not study the Bible with real zeal. If they did, they would discover many verses scattered around in the Bible that can be linked together to form a theme. This takes deep thinking and requires the knowledge of these many scattered  verses.

For example.

Dull of hearing means Christians cannot really explain why Mary, when she was pregnant, immediately went away to spend three months with her cousin Elizabeth who was six months pregnant. When Mary came back and married Joseph, she was obviously pregnant and her reputation was ruined. Why?

Mary had to make it clear that Joseph was not the father of Jesus. There was no other way of establishing the virgin birth.

But the Jews saw it from another point of view. They readily accused Mary of immorality, and Mary he had to live with the humiliation of carrying an illegitimate child. Some people are called to suffer unique circumstances in order for God to bring forth His Plan. We must be like clay in the Potter's hand. We must do whatever He requires of us.

Mary stayed with Elizabeth three months. Just before John the Baptist was born, Mary left Elizabeth to return and marry Joseph. But when John was born, that would have been the most useful time for Mary to help Elizabeth. So, why did she leave then?

Jesus, aged about 30, only came to John the Baptist when he was in the water of the River Jordan. Then John was in a position where he could wash Jesus as the High Priest. Jesus could not start His ministry until He had been washed and anointed. When John was outside the River Jordan then he was of no help to getting Jesus started in His ministry.

In the sixth month of a mother's pregnancy the baby is surrounded by water to protect it. Notice, when Mary came to Elizabeth, she was bringing Jesus to the future prophet John the Baptist while he was in the water of the womb. This totally symbolized their future meeting about 30 years later.

But for John to be born, the water of the womb had to break. That no longer symbolized their great meeting in the River Jordan. So, Mary departed just before that happened.

HEBREWS 5:12  “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”

Church leaders today are very shallow in their teachings. Church-goers believe that Adam and Eve ate some literal forbidden fruit. But God made the earth produce fruit trees on the third day and then said that they were all good.

On the third day God said:

GENESIS 1:12  “And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

MATTHEW 15:11  “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;

but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”

The serpent was the cleverest animal, higher than an ape. He stood between the spe and man.

GENESIS 3:1  “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”

The shallow, unscriptural errors that church leaders preach defile us and make us sin as they spread unbelief.

The open mouth of an unscriptural preacher is a gate of hell.

Today, a preacher's opening statement is, "There are mistakes in the King James Bible. It is a flawed translation".

Hath God said? They claim the King James Version is wrong in places and we must disagree with it. Eve fell for that logic.

PROVERBS 30:20  “Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.”

Church-goers are never told that sex was the original sin. Everybody born of sex dies. God said to Adam:

GENESIS 2:17  “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

2 PETER 3:8  “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

God never told Adam and Eve to repent.

Having had sex, Eve was no longer a virgin. And God needed a virgin for His virgin-born Son.

Her torn veil of virginity ended her use in Eden. The torn veil in the Temple, when Jesus died, ended the use of the Old Testament sacrifices.

After the resurrection, when Jesus speaks the New Testament saints from the dust, comes the 3.5 years of great tribulation that ends in the battle of Armageddon. Then Jesus sets up His Kingdom of Peace for 1000 years where He rules with His Bride, the resurrected church. At the end of the 1000 years, they will still be alive and thus free from the curse of original sin. Thus, they will know that they will live forever in Eternity.

God's Plan in Eden for multiplication was for the woman to be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. She would have brought forth the virgin born Son. Jesus would have grown up and had no sin to die for. Then He would have spoken all His saints out of the dust of the earth. All the saved people would have been there and there would be no extras to burn in hell. That was spiritual multiplication, God's original Plan.

That is what will finally happen.

4000 years later God chose the virgin Mary who brought forth the virgin-born Jesus. One day in the future, Jesus will raise the dead Bride by speaking them from the dust. One thousand years later, all the dead will be raised for Judgement Day. Then all the Gentile foolish virgins will be raised, who got saved before great tribulation started, but were fooled into error by their church leaders. They will be spared. God has a separate plan for the Jews.

The woman was given a veil of virginity to show that she was not to have sex.

"Multiply" in Genesis Chapter 1 changed to "greatly multiply" in Genesis Chapter 3. Why?

GENESIS 1:28   “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,

But something went terribly wrong in Eden. Eve got involved in sexual physical multiplication and became pregnant as she had a conception. To show this was the wrong way, God punished her with sorrow by making childbirth difficult and painful.

GENESIS 3:16  “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy CONCEPTION; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;

1 TIMOTHY 2:12  “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

Churches preach salvation, healing, good deeds, faith in God, and holiness (to some extent). But these good things are the basics. Saved Christians have to grow

HEBREWS 6:1   “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,”

Strong meat is when you can join many Scriptures together to establish a pattern that runs through the Bible.

Wrong interpretations are shallow as they cannot connect Scriptures together.

Strong meat means a deep insight into Scriptural truth.

The Tree of Life and the Tree of knowledge

A tree represents a person.

PSALM 1:1  “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,..."

:3  “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

GENESIS 2:9   “And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”

That means something else was also in the middle of the garden.

GENESIS 3:3  “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.”

The tree of knowledge was also in the midst of the garden.

That seems impossible. Two trees cannot occupy the same spot in the garden.

But what is the garden a symbol of?

SONG OF SOLOMON 4:12  “A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.”

A woman symbolizes a garden.

Women must be protected as they are usually weaker than males. A garden usually has some kind of protecting fence around it.

"A spring shut up". A spring is a source of life because life grows where there is water. The womb is the spring of life that is shut up until fertilized by a male seed.

"A fountain sealed". The womb is sealed by the veil of virginity. Only the Holy Ghost could create a Seed behind the sealed veil of virginity.

That Child would be the Seed of the woman, because no man was involved. Therein lay eternal life.

Sex with a male has to break that veil. Then it is the seed of a man or the seed of the serpent before he was cursed and turned into a snake.

The womb of the woman was either to be the tree of Life for the virgin birth or the tree of knowledge for carnal sex.

Adam had told the woman, Let nothing touch your womb. Sadly, she did not listen.

God now had to allow sex as Eve could no longer be the virgin mother.

Thus God decreed a law of marriage to limit the damage of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Animals have polygamy, one male and many females. Having learned about sex from an animal, God subjected women to this polygamy rule in the Old Testament. It was not a happy situation.

One man married to one woman for life. Only after being married is sex between them good.

Sex before marriage is evil.

Sex ouside of marriage is evil.

That is how God deals with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil today,
