Hebrews 02 Grace fulfills the Law
We update studies as the Lord Jesus leads us. You can find the latest update of this study at ChurchAges.net
This Book of Hebrews is separating law and grace, and It's placing each one to its place. The Hebrews were raised by the law, and Paul was telling them what part grace played, with law.
- We must stay Scriptural
- Test what a prophet says with the Bible
- The destiny of mankind depends on the Son of man

We must stay Scriptural
HEBREWS 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
Then, you see, God doesn't deal with organizations. He doesn't deal with groups of people.
He deals with individuals. He reveals Himself to individuals.
… Now, when the Angel of the Lord came down, in the form of a star; and the stargazers, the wise men of India, when, they saw that Star and followed It for hundreds of miles. And It went over every observatory, 'cause they kept the time by the stars.
And no one saw that Star but the wise men.
“More earnest heed” denotes the importance and excellence of the Gospel given by the glorious Jesus, Who is infinitely more important than the angels and the merely human prophets who came before Him.
Our minds and memories are like leaky vessels due to the cares of this world that we struggle with.
As humans, we easily drift away due to the influence of the currents of human opinions unless our minds are firmly anchored to God’s written Word. We slowly drift unconsciously away from the anchorage of our faith.
We must never forget the lessons about faith that we have learned from the Bible.
We cannot please God unless we have faith in him.
HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We can only develop our faith by believing what is written in Scripture.
ROMANS 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
It is essential for people to remain Scriptural.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
One night, yonder, He come down, an Angel, and revealed It in the Scriptures, that He was.
And when I seen It in the Scriptures, then to blast across the world with It, the Message.
The Message of brother Branham enables us to understand the Bible by linking the relevant Scriptures together on a topic.
HEBREWS 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
The angels who disobeyed God at the beginning were cursed and turned into demons as they fell from Heaven. This is the peril of the neglect of duty. God never changed his Word. The angels fell because of disobedience.
Under the Law, those Jews who disobeyed the words of angels that God sent to them also paid a severe price. If the words of angels proved to be sure and true, how much more the Words of the glorious Son of God.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
The word angel means "messenger."
A messenger! You are a messenger, this morning.
You are a messenger of good news or a messenger of bad news. Oh, isn't it beautiful, to know that we are ambassadors, that we are angels, the messengers of the resurrection?
And we are God's messengers to the sinful world, that Christ lives. In our hearts, He lives. In our spirits, He lives.
And He brings us from the low debauched life of sin, and exalts us up, and gives us a "hallelujah" in our soul, and makes us new creatures. We are messengers, angels of the Covenant. How wonderful!
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
And by His grace, so none will have any excuse... Oh, if they could forget the illiterate messengers,
and remember: it's not the messenger, it's the Message.
He's come down again, with us, in a form of a Pillar of Light. And He moves with His same miracles and signs,
nothing out of the Bible; staying right with the Bible,
holding it under subjection, bringing out His glory, showing His power.
The focus is not on one man, the messenger, or the angel who brought the message. The focus is on the Bride who are able to prove that Message just from the King James Bible. Being Scriptural is the “shout” of triumph of the Bride that attracts the attention of Jesus to come and fetch her.
Brother Branham came as the seventh angel or messenger to teach the Bride by revealing the Bible mysteries to them. The final test will be to see how much of the King James Bible the Bride individuals can understand.
62-1111 WHY I AM AGAINST ORGANIZED RELIGION
Notice, the nineteenth Chapter [of Revelation] is next, "After these things". Did you notice here in the 19th Chapter "After these things"? Watch what? After what? After the Message of "Come out of her!"
"After these things" watch,
"is the shout of the Bride saints, with the Bridegroom,
going to the Marriage of the Lamb."
The “shout” is not brother Branham revealing the mysteries from Scripture.
The “shout” is when the Bride will be able to prove for themselves what brother Branham taught, just from the King James Bible.
One month before he died, brother Branham was still waiting for the “shout” to happen in the future.
It is the “shout” of the Bride members as they are God’s messengers to the end-time people.
65-1127 I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE
Dear God, in this solemn moment, its going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday,
and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout,
with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.
But the Bride has to make sure that they are able to understand the truth of Scripture. Only the Bible's truth is steadfast.
The fate of all the saved Christians who are unable to become strictly Scriptural because they cannot understand the mysteries of the King James Bible, is to be thrown into great Tribulation. There they will be cruelly killed.
Test what a prophet says with the Bible
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
And now, in the Old Testament, "If the word spoken by angels were steadfast," that way it had to be right.
In the Old Testament, before a prophet's word could be made manifest, it had to be examined and proved.
They wasn't loose with it, like we are today.
Just go out and have any kind of a sensation, or anything else, "Oh, glory to God, that's it!" You're mistaken.
The Bible said, that, "In the last days, the Devil will impersonate Christianity, so close, till it'll deceive the very Elected if possible." That's right. So, we must test it.
And how did they test it in their day? To the Urim Thummim. The breastplate of Aaron, that had those stones in it: carbuncle, jasper, diamond, ruby, sapphire. All those stones, that represent the birth of these twelve patriarchs, was in the breastplate of Aaron. And when a prophet prophesied, and that sacred Light flashed over it, God said, "That is the Truth." But, no matter how real it seemed, if it didn't flash on that, it wasn't the Truth. So, that Urim Thummim went with that priesthood.
But this Bible is God's Urim Thummim today. And when a prophet prophesies, it must absolutely flash with the Bible.
Then, God says, then He comes down and proves It.
At the end, God will only come down for His Bride when we have become completely Scriptural. Understanding the mysteries of Scripture is far more important than what we think.
HEBREWS 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
… when we ought to be in prayer somewhere, and study the Bible, to know the signs of the time we're living in. What does that, of our time, is weak pulpits, that's right, that don't get down and bring the Gospel Truth. We're going to have to answer for that in the days to come. We must not neglect anything.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
And when we see Him come down, to continue to confirm His Word, how shall we escape if we sucker to some church, or some organization, or denomination, or some little pet theory of our own? You better turn loose.
If we neglect our teeth then they have to be pulled out.
Our problem is not to “reject”, as we have no desire to oppose God.
Just to “neglect” as we live at ease in our complacent church traditions.
We easily forget our fallen state and lose sight of the value of the Gospel of grace and our great need for grace.
HEBREWS 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.1
God always bears witness. Your life will bear witness. I don't know what your testimony is, but your life speaks so loud, your voice can't be heard. But, your living, your every-day life will testify what you are. God bears witness. Yes. The Holy Spirit is a seal, and a seal takes both sides of the paper. They see you standing here and see you when you go away. Not only in church but at every-day work. You're sealed on both sides, inside and outside. By the joy that you have, and by the life that you live, you're sealed, in and outside, that you know you're saved and the world knows you're saved, by the life that you live, for God bears witness.
… Now, He will bear witness of His own. If you don't open your mouth and say a word, the world will know something has happened to you.
The early church of the first church age manifested the great power of God. The Holy Ghost gave ministries to whichever elder He chose according to His Will, not man’s will. Not the will of some church organization.
But despite intense supernatural gifts in the early church, some people still chose to move away from God’s Word. Humans are easily fooled.
The destiny of mankind depends on the Son of man
HEBREWS 2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
God used angels to bring His Word at times. Angels are exceedingly powerful. Yet God has not put angels in charge of His future Kingdom.
HEBREWS 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
What is man? Our frailty, corruption, and insignificance are obvious. Compared to the vastness of the Universe we are nothing. God must have amazing condescension to even notice us.
But a glorious destiny is revealed as God will visit the Son of man.
A son of man is a prophet.
The Son of man is the Prophet, the Messiah, God in a body of flesh.
Thus, the significance of man depends on the Coming of the Son of man. He will be rejected and killed, but in His death humans will find redemption and forgiveness and thus achieve the value of being blood-washed. God’s visit when Messiah first came to earth is the only really important event in our history.
At His first Coming Jesus was revealed as a Man.
As we build up to His second Coming, Jesus is revealed as the Word of God that can be understood by the Bride.
The next important event will be God’s brief visit at the Second Coming to claim His Bride and take her to Heaven. All the saved Christians who never understood the revealed Bible mysteries will be left behind and doomed to die in the 3½ years of great Tribulation. They will be the foolish virgins who were fooled by their church leaders. They will discover the hard way how pointless and useless human opinions and church traditions are.
HEBREWS 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Angels are immortal because they have no blood in their veins. The Holy Spirit flows through their veins.
We, humans, are lower than the angels because we have blood in our veins which causes us to die.
Jesus was made lower than the angels because He had blood in His veins. But He chose to shed His blood to redeem us from our sins. Thus, He rose from the dead with no blood and is therefore in an immortal, glorified body.
The great crown He achieved is a body that cannot age, get sick, or die.
That is the glorious crown that awaits each member of the Bride when the resurrection takes place, which is our glorified and immortal bodies that cannot sin.
56-0304 MAKING A WAY
When you're sick and tired of this whole life, and you love the appearing of the Lord Jesus better than you love your food at the table, or your wife, or your children, then there's a crown laid up for you,
not a crown, a gold crown they put upon your head, but a body free from pain,
crowned in the glory of God, crowned in the immortality of Jesus Christ. That's what's laid up for you, that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give you it that day. That's the day we look forward to. God has made a way of escape for every one of us, certainly, He has.
The greatest honour belongs to Jesus alone as He won this amazing victory for each one of us. As we live for eternity we will always honour and worship Him as we owe Him the eternal body that we will dwell in.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
God changed His dwelling place, from a Throne in the spaces yonder, to the heart of His Son, Christ Jesus, to live and reign forever. "God was in Christ." He's the final resting place of the Spirit.
… O God! He became lower than His creation, that He might redeem man (homeless, helpless man), and give them a home in Heaven. He left the glories of Heaven. He left the highest Name that could be called. And when He was on earth, man give Him the lowest name that they could give Him, said, "He was an illegitimate baby, to start with." Born in a manger, wrapped in rags off the back of a yoke of an ox. No place to go, had no home to go to. And was called, "Beelzebub," the chief of the devils. He was mistreated. He was spit on. He was made fun of. He was rejected, and went to the lowest pits, and stooped to "The vilest of prostitutes." That's what man done to Him.
But God raised Him up so high that He'd have to look down to see Heaven. Man give Him the lowest seat, give Him the worst place, the lowest name. God raised Him up and give Him the highest Seat, and the highest Name. That's the difference what man done with the Son of God, and what God done with the Son of God.
He stooped, that we might be lifted. He become us, that we through His grace might become Him. He come to the homeless, and became homeless Hisself, that we might have a home. He came to the sick and was made sick Hisself, that we might be healed. He came to the sinner, "and made sin, Himself," that we might be saved.
No wonder He was exalted. No wonder He is who He is tonight. God has exalted Him, and all the powers in Heavens and earth is give to Him.
… He became sin, became low, and forsaken. But the devils knowed who He was. They pleaded for mercy. They said, "Why do You come to torment us before our time come." And while the preachers was calling him, "Beelzebub," the fortune teller; the devils was calling Him, "The Son of the living God," and begging for mercy.
At the end, it will be people who the churches despise, who will be able to recognize the truth of the revealed Bible.
HEBREWS 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Jesus is the ultimate winner. Everything that is written in the King James Bible will come to pass. There are still things to happen in the future that we have not seen as yet. The evil forces of Satan will be smashed at Armageddon and Jesus will rule in peace for 1000 years. Then comes Judgement Day and all evil will be cast in the Lake of Fire. Then Jesus will rule supreme in the new Heaven and the new earth. All evil will have been eliminated.
“But now we see not yet all things put under him.” The final enemy is death.
While we are still dying, we do not see death as yet put under His feet.
Jesus stooped low to raise us up high
HEBREWS 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Jesus was made lower than the angels so that He could die.
Jesus was the perfect Man Who did not have to die. But He chose to die in order to save us.
Adam should have stoned Eve for being an adulteress. But he loved her too much to kill her and chose to join her in her sin. By faith, he knew that he could not save her but he trusted that God would find a way to save them. God did, by throwing them out of the Garden of Eden under the blood-stained skins of sacrificed lambs. Salvation depended on being under the blood of a lamb.
Jesus saw His church in sin and He chose to take our sin on Himself and die so that we could take on His righteousness. Sweating blood in the Garden of Gethsemane began the process of redeeming our sins and welcoming us back into God’s Presence. Jesus began His redemptive sacrifice as a blood-filled Man who was below the angels so that He could die. But He shed His blood and resurrected in an eternal body with the Holy Ghost circulating through His veins which made Him far superior to any angel.
HEBREWS 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
“For it became Him”. It seemed incredible that the great God Who made all things for His own glory should choose a path of suffering as His most suitable salvation Plan.
Christ always was perfect. He did not have to become perfect as a Person. But there were many prophecies from the Old Testament that Messiah had to fulfill. As He suffered His way through the cruel injustice of the Jews and then the Romans, so He became the perfect fulfillment of all the prophecies.
HEBREWS 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Jesus and His Bride are all one. He is the Vine and we are the branches.
Christ is the Head of the body that is His church. The Head and the body are all one.
EPHESIANS 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Only Jesus can save His body of believers, the church.
Christ is our Brother Who was also tempted like we are
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
Man always feared death. Christ became sin, made low, to take death upon Himself.
And He's not ashamed to be called our "Brother," for He was tempted just like we are tempted. And He can be the right kind of an intercessor, 'cause He stood the same kind of a temptation that you stand.
And He took your place, knowing that you couldn't take it yourself.
So, don't you see, brother, sister? The whole thing is grace.
All of it is grace.
It's not what you do, anyhow.
It's what He's already done for you.
Now, you can't do one thing to merit your salvation. Your salvation is a gift. Christ became sin, that you might become righteous. And He's the right kind of a Chief Captain for our salvation, because He suffered just like we suffered. He's been tempted just like we're tempted. And He's not ashamed to be called "our Brother," because He knows what we go through with.
HEBREWS 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
We must know the name of God so that we can sing praises to that name in the church.
The Trinity God of three Persons does not have a name. You cannot find one name for three Persons.
"God the Son" and "God the Holy Ghost" are never found in Scripture.
God the Father" is never found in the Old Testament.
All the Hebrew names for the Father in the Old Testament are never found in the New Testament, because God cut off Hebrew when the Jews crucified Jesus.
Matthew 28:19 leaves us with a puzzle that we need to be taught.
MATTHEW 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
What is the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost?
This cannot refer to three Persons as three Persons cannot have one name.
Peter gives the answer in Acts 2:38.
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ
The name of Jesus Christ is thus the name of Almighty God.
REVELATION 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
REVELATION 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
In Hebrews 2:12, Paul is quoting from Psalm 22.
PSALM 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
David used the word “congregation” rather than “synagogue” which is a very Jewish term. Thus, Paul is free to describe “congregation” in terms of the new “church” that was being established.
Thus, in the church, the believers are referred to as brethren of the Messiah. This makes them family.
Family all have the same name.
EPHESIANS 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
The name of our Savior is Jesus Christ.
Thus, we must all take on His name.
The only way to do that is to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Psalm 18 summarizes the impact of the Life of Jesus
HEBREWS 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Paul quotes from Psalm 18:2 “In Whom I will trust”.
Christ is the Saviour of the church body. He is the only one that we can put our trust in. He is the only one Who can give people eternal life. Only through Christ can anyone be born again.
We are born again by the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
ISAIAH 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
Jesus and the disciples performed great signs and wonders. Many pagans were converted to Christianity and born again of the Holy Ghost.
The sufferings at Calvary are part of Psalm 18.
PSALM 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me,
Also, the earthquake as Jesus died and the Old Testament saints were raised after His resurrection.
PSALM 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled;
MATTHEW 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Then, about 37 years later came the destruction of the Jewish state and Temple in AD 70 by the cruel and greedy pagan Romans under general Titus. Over 1 million Jews died and 90,000 were enslaved.
PSALM 18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
The Jews were trampled and scattered amongst the Gentile kingdoms.
The strivings of the Jews were now for their own survival. Christ became Head of the church in the Gentile nations that had once been heathens.
PSALM 18:43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
The Jews had refused to obey Jesus. But the heathen Gentiles amongst whom the Jews were scattered, would serve Him and obey Him.
The Jews got the Romans to kill Jesus but the Gentiles then trampled on the Jews. The Gentile church, with Jesus as its Head, then spread as the pagans converted to Christianity.
There is no blood in Heaven
HEBREWS 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
There is no blood in Heaven because eternal life flows in the veins of heavenly beings.
The Holy Ghost flows through the veins of the angels and thus they never age nor die.
Parents cannot transfer eternal life to their children through the sex act.
God was going to bring forth life in Eden by spiritual multiplication. The Holy Ghost would overshadow Eve and bring forth the virgin-born Son. Jesus would grow up and have no sin to die for. He would then speak all of His saints into existence from the dust of the earth. Just the right number of people to inhabit the earth.
They would all have had eternal life as the Holy Ghost would have flowed through their veins.
Eve chose to bring forth life through sex. She was punished for being pregnant.
GENESIS 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;
Thanks to Eve we are now all creatures of flesh and blood. The blood in our veins means that we will age and die.
HEBREWS 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
The life in our blood can only keep us alive for a certain time. As we grow older we begin to fear the inevitable approach of death as we tend to grow weaker. We are trapped in this body that is heading for the grave and there is nothing that we can do about it. All our lives we have to be careful not to harm or kill ourselves. Death is our final enemy. As long as there is blood in our bodies we know that we shall die if the Lord tarries.
Jesus had to become a Man and not an Angel
HEBREWS 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
That He might be the Reconciler! See, there was enmity between God and man. And no man...
They sent the angels, the prophets. They couldn't take your place, because they had to pray for themselves. They couldn't take the place.
… He sent the prophets, He sent the righteous, and everything, could not make an atonement.
But He come down and become one of us.
57-0901 HEBREWS CHAPTER THREE
"He never took on the nature of Angels, but was the Seed of Abraham," that He might be known, that men could see God.
God wanted us to see what He would be like if He was a Man.
He never became an angel as there is no intercession for the fallen angels who are demons. They are doomed. But Jesus became a Man so that He could be the Intercessor or Saviour for those people who want to believe in Him. Having condemned the fallen angels at the beginning, who had no blood, God then made blood the atonement for sin so that humans could be redeemed. Adam and Eve walked out of Eden under coats covered in the shed blood of lambs.
GENESIS 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them
God had to kill the animals in order to make coats out of their skins. That shed blood.
God is a Spirit in Heaven. When He came down to dwell on earth, God did not make an angelic body for Himself. God made a human body for Himself to dwell in, called the Son of God, Jesus.
In the beginning, God dealt with individuals and gave them long life that lasted for hundreds of years. But mankind, as individuals, slipped away from God and indulged in sin, violence, and depravity. Very few individuals wanted to serve God. God then chose one individual, Abraham, and chose to make a nation out of him. The Israelites then served God as a nation according to the Law of Moses.
But no man could be King and High Priest. That was too much power for a normal man.
The Son of God, Who is God in a human body, would come forth from the descendants of Abraham.
HEBREWS 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
The Son of God, born in the kingly line of David, could be the High Priest too, as He sacrificed Himself for sinners, rather than sacrificing animals.
He produced a crossover covenant. When we repent, our sins cross over onto Him and His innocence and righteousness crosses over onto us.
That is the most amazing deal ever offered to undeserving sinners. A covenant of grace.
HEBREWS 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
57-0825 HEBREWS CHAPTER TWO.2
Succour means to "sympathize." That, the reason He become this, that He might be sympathetic with you who are... have your ups and downs, and your little ins and outs, and your temptations get so great you can't hardly stand it. He knows how to sympathize with you. He sets there, to make intercession. He sets there, to love you. And though you go astray, He won't forsake you. He will still come after you and knock at your heart. There's not a backslider in the building but what know that God knocks at his heart daily. And He will do it as long as you're a mortal on this earth, for He's loved you. He redeemed you.
… The only way He could redeem us was to be kinfolks to us. And how He become kinfolks, is by taking on the form of sinful flesh and becoming one of us. And in that, He paid the price and redeemed us back into the fellowship of the Father. Oh, what a Saviour! Words couldn't express it.
Jesus underwent all the temptations that humans can suffer. Betrayal by a friend. An illegal nighttime arrest. Fear made His disciples desert Him. A false trial that broke the law. False accusations. Mockings, ridiculing, and torture. The Roman governor found Him innocent and condemned Him to be flogged and crucified.
Whatever trials we go through in this life, Jesus had it worse. Thus, He understands our suffering and He can strengthen us to endure it all.
