God controls Good and Evil

God uses enemies to mould and strengthen us. So, God has to make those enemies.

ISAIAH 55:8    "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

:9    For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

None of us can even begin to imagine what God's future plan for us involves.

God is planning some very unusual events so that our human ways can become subject to the control of His heavenly plans.

God created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden, just as much as He created the Tree of Life.

Both trees would serve His ultimate purpose.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9   "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,

neither have entered into the heart of man,

the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

We humans have a very limited brain power. We think in terms of the short-term future and our present circumstances.

God thinks long-term into the future and prepares for oncoming circumstances that we know nothing about.

AMOS 3:6  " Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid?

shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?"

Both good and evil are in the hands of God. An artist uses the opposites of dark charcoal and white canvas to draw a picture.

To stop people from being robots, God gave people self-will.

But now God has to filter out those who of their own free-will deeply love His truth from Scripture.

The rest, the vast majority, will prefer the alternative ideas of human leaders and the complacent comfort of church conformity and group-popularity.

As the sculptor Michelangelo used his chisel to form a statue of David from a ruined marble block, God may use suffering to form us sin-ravaged people into the image of Christ.

Now, if marble had feelings, it wouldn’t like the chiseling process. It might resent the sculptor.

God has called us to yield ourselves by submitting to his chisel. We must believe what the Bible says before we consider any human beliefs. Because we cannot see what kind of person God intends to form through our adversity, we too may resent the chiseling. Christianity is not based on feeling good. It is based on being good by being Scriptural. Suffering purges sin from us and makes us disciplined.

JOB 2:10   "But he said unto her [his wife], Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips."

We need not fear because God controls the extent to which evil can impact on our lives. That is how God can wake us up.

Intellectually lazy church-goers believe in church propaganda without a second thought. Forgetting that there are 45000 different kinds of churches and denominations with all their different ideas.

Propaganda through social media creates confusion. People no longer know what looks right.

People then want to be told what they want to hear.

God tests and strengthens us through hardships to see how we respond to life. Inner strength must grow until it beats outer circumstances.

THE LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE

“They have put aside Eternal Life as a Person, and make it good works, or even church conformity.”

Our vulnerabilities are addressed by the opposition we encounter so that we can be resilient in the face of adversity. Then adversity becomes a tool for growth.

Grapes are crushed to make wine. That means the stimulation of revelation comes the hard way. Diamonds need heat and pressure to form. Olives are squeezed to produce oil which symbolizes the Holy Ghost. Seeds germinate under the soil in darkness. Trust the process.

We learn to excel by handling failure. If we do not have some failures it means we are not trying hard enough.

Only in cultivating discipline, endurance, and patience do we find satisfaction and reward in our struggles as we draw inner strength from Jesus.

Discipline is a habit that sinks in under stress, until it becomes second nature.

If you fall and rise you are stronger than one who never fell.

Joseph explained God’s Plan to his brothers. They intended to do him evil by selling him into slavery, but their evil efforts actually ended up promoting Joseph until he alone could save the world from the famine that was coming.

GENESIS 50:20   "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good,"

ISAIAH 45:7   "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

Uncluttered by church errors, unsaved people can sometimes hear more clearly from God. Then church people can learn from the unsaved.

God revealed a dream and an interpretation to two heathen men from Midian so that they could inform Gideon who was struggling to believe.

JUDGES 7:12   "And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.

:13     And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a [Midian] man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

:14     And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.

:15     And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian."

Consider our modern world.

The third Commandment forbids us to blaspheme or use God’s name as a swear word.

Unbelievers swear or curse in the name of Jesus Christ. Thus, they know the name of God.

Trinitarian Christians have no name for their Triune God. You cannot find one name for three Persons.

Thus, they repeat a formula, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”, but they have no clue what that name is.

Thus, sinners know the name of God and Christians do not.

God has to revert to using sinners to teach the Christians what the name of God is. Similarly, the doubting Gideon had to learn truth from two heathen sinners.

JOEL 2:25   “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

"My great army". The enemy is part of God's army.

Earthworms under the ground do wonders for soil fertility. But worms on the surface eat the crops and do damage.

The palmerworm and cankerworm are mystery enemies of the harvest. The locust and caterpillar are obvious enemies of the harvest. We know what they are and we know what damage they do to the growing crops.

These four pests symbolize the spiritual dangers that the church faces. But in opposing these errors Christians learn more truth and grow stronger so that they can stand on their own feet like Daniel did.

Obvious dangers like the political involvement of churches and the churches adopting the financial techniques of Big Business demonology with its hidden manipulations and unreliable, unscriptural information. Those who claim to be the heads of the churches fight for power and money. Their power to take our money. Competitive Christianity is waged with all the aggressive hard-sell techniques of the market place.

Each established church becomes a pleasant social pastime with so many unscriptural ideas that it is scarcely recognizable as a Bible-believing group. God gets taken out of religion and loses His name. The church must conform to the charismatic pastor who is a tea-drinking, kindly, and charming man (as long as you agree with him) which makes the complacent church-goers more comfortable and inoculates people against truth. People readily gather to hear the feel-good sermons.

Even the wise virgins (clean women symbolizing saved Christians) in Matthew 25 are all fast asleep.

All the churches need a wake-up call that will tell us to get out of our churches.
MATTHEW 25:5   “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

:6   And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

John Wesley warned that a good preacher was one who made the comfortable feel uncomfortable.

Then there are mystery enemies like Trinity and the pastor being the head of the church which the churches foolishly regard as being truth. The New Testament never placed a pastor as the head of a church. Trinity, One God in three Persons, Father and Son are coequal, Eternal Sonship, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are unscriptural statements. Claiming to know the new name of Jesus or what the unwritten seven Thunders say is equally unscriptural.

We also know nothing about the Seventh Seal.

REVELATION 19:12   “… and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself”.

“One of the mystery of that [seventh] Seal, the reason it wasn't revealed, it was seven thunders that uttered their voices, and there it is perfectly, because nothing knows anything about it; wasn't even written.”

Staying in their church means that church-goers live in an echo chamber and these bad ideas get reinforced. They never hear an alternative viewpoint. That is called propaganda. Then they think that they have need of nothing. They certainly think that they have no need of correction.

Trinity reveals and conceals at the same time to produce a collective blindness.

In AD 312 Emperor Constantine stopped persecuting Christians and then accepted the Trinity doctrine. The Trinitarian Roman Bishop was politically established as the strong man in the West with huge state subsidies. By AD 382 Emperor Theodosius demanded that only the Trinity doctrine could be believed. Trinity vehemently choked out any competing interpretation because they had obtained violent political power to back them up. Christians are allowed to reject the theory but are not allowed to reject the word trinity that embodies the theory.

Only the Bride members, who are strictly Scriptural,

will distinguish the true signal or message from the confusing noise of popular opinion.

Yet, God regards all these enemies of truth as being part of His army. What then is their function?

They are to expose and lead astray the make-believers so that the Lord does not have to include them in His Bride.

 MATTHEW 13:15   “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

Make believers who have a superficial interest in the Bible.

Make believers who follow the teachings of the church rather than the teachings of the Bible.

Make believers who follow the pastor as the head of the church, which is unscriptural.

God does not want them.
