Genesis 2 - Adam in a body of flesh can fall

Adam and his bride were put in human bodies. Now God warned them about knowledge. Carnal knowledge refers to sex.

Water has no shape as it covered the original earth

GENESIS 1: 1   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God had to create the heaven (sun, moon, stars, and space) and the earth out of nothing, because originally there was nothing.

We do not know how long this creation took because God gives no clue regarding the time He took to create the sun, moon, and stars, and the earth. But He had to put water on earth before He could put life on earth. This water would freeze into a layer of ice in the coldness of space. The frozen earth looked like a snowball of ice.

The earth was originally covered in ice until God moved it closer to the sun. The ice began to melt, and huge blocks of ice broke free. This was the first ice age that shaped the earth's surface as God moved the huge chunks of ice around. When all the ice had melted, the earth was covered in water, some of which evaporated to make dense cloud banks that blocked out the sunlight.

GENESIS 1:2And the earth was without form, and void;

(the surface of the earth was covered in water and the visible surface of the water was flat and empty of shape)

and darkness was upon the face of the deep

(dense clouds stopped the sunlight reaching the face or surface of the deepwater).

Then God spoke, "Let there be light" and the spoken Word of God struck the thick cloud banks and dispersed them.  Thus sunlight could now reach the surface of the earth.

Moses is watching this in a vision. All he sees is water spreading out to the horizon in all directions. The surface of the water is flat and had no shape. The surface is empty (void) of any shape, as water has no hills or valleys.

God set up the earth to maintain human life

Then God decided to intervene and prepare this earth so that it could sustain life.

To do this, God allocated six "days" in which He put life on the Earth.

There were no human beings at the beginning, so God did not have to use human days of 24 hours.

II PETER 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,

With no humans around, God measured time in His days. Each of God's days is 1000 of our human years.

The surface of the earth was so dark that you could not even see the sun. There was no concept of day and night at that time, so the human day was irrelevant.

On the fourth day, the Lord did not create anything.

The sun and moon were already there. God now made them perform their main functions, which were to rule the day and the night.

He made the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night by placing the earth at the right distance from the sun and moon.

The earth also had to spin on its axis at just the right speed to give the idea of a day. If the earth spins too slowly, the day will get too hot. God made the earth-sun orbital speed just the right speed to give the correct length of a year.
GENESIS 1:16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

God had to set or place everything in its correct position with great accuracy.

The stars made constellations by being placed in certain positions when seen from the earth.

Different constellations of stars are visible during different seasons. So the sky was the first calendar.

GENESIS 1:17   And God set them [the stars] in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

The southern cross constellation of stars helps people find their direction. It is a great help in navigation. This reflects the fact that we find the direction to Heaven only if we come through the cross of Calvary.

GENESIS 2:2   And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

God first created the earth during a time span that He never revealed to us in Genesis 1:1.

In the beginning, God created the heaven (sun, moon, stars, space) and the earth from nothing.

Then God spent six of His days, 6000 of our years, during which He made the earth into a suitable home for living creatures. Adam, the son of God, and his bride were then left in charge to rule the earth for the seventh day, which in our human time frame would last 1000 years. God rested because all His works were complete, and there was nothing left that needed doing.

GENESIS 2: 1   Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

A big test for mankind is to be able to wait for God to move

Could they stay with God's Word, or would they make up some plausible alternative belief?

God told them to multiply by being fruitful and thus producing a Baby (the fruit of the womb) Who had the fullness of the Word (the Seed of eternal Life) in Him.

All Adam could do was wait until God moved to fulfill His plan.

Fruit trees bear fruit whose seed is in the fruit.

GENESIS 1:11   ...and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind,

whose seed is in itself,
GENESIS 1:27   So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God is a spirit, so He created Adam as a spirit-man to be in God's image. Only the spirit of man is in God's image, not the body of the man. Adam also had feminine attributes within his spirit.

GENESIS 5: 2   Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

God created a spirit-man and placed the feminine attributes of his future bride in him. She had no conscious awareness at that time. Later God would place her feminine attributes in a separate physical body, and then she would be a separate person.

GENESIS 1:28   And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

As a spirit-man Adam was told to multiply. This had nothing to do with sex. Animals live by instinct, and the female has her sex desire switched on when she is "on heat" to multiply. Then the desire is switched off. So, when there were finally enough animals to populate the world, then God would finally turn off the sex desire for keeps and there would be no overpopulation of animals.

But God had to do things differently for humans. Humans have free will. So if God permitted them to have sex, He would never be able to force them to stop (as that would not be their free will), and humans would then proceed to overpopulate the earth. The earth's population doubled in the last 40 years. Things will be getting out of control if this continues on too far into the future. We still have death and warfare and disease to cut down human numbers, and despite this, our numbers just escalate. Imagine what a perfect world would look like if no-one died and everyone stayed young and could, with free will, have as many children as they wanted. Picture that population explosion.

Multiplication by sex, when combined with free will, was not a good idea for the garden of Eden's long-term prospects.

Animals do not sin because they do not know the difference between right and wrong. So animals did not have to die at the beginning. They could live forever.

But here comes the tricky part.

God wanted man to have free will so that man could be in the image of God.

But free will involves choosing between different options. So right and wrong options have to be available.

And if the man chooses the wrong option, then that is sin, which will cause death to enter.

So God had to explain to Adam the difference between right and wrong. Then God had to leave Adam to be in charge so that Adam could exercise his own free will as he controlled Eden.

But human beings suffer from two weaknesses:

impatience and a desire to serve God their way, rather than God's way.

We humans are very self-serving and spend our time trying to do God a service without it being His will. This is the basis of religion. But there is no salvation in religion.

Because the real world is complex, and we all have our personal preferences, we tend to see what we want to see, and we choose what suits us. With informed self-righteousness, we end up squeezing all the information into our own expectations.

Could Adam and his bride patiently live out the 1000 years of the seventh day and then wait for the woman to be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and give birth to the virgin-born Son of God - Jesus Christ? Jesus would grow up and have no sin to die for. Then He could just speak His saints up from the dust of the earth, which is exactly what He will do on the day of the resurrection. Then there would be just the right number of people to populate the earth. Better still, there would be no nasty people who have to burn in hell.

God never told Adam what His plan was, and Adam would never have thought up such a possibility. Adam was limited by his own knowledge of what was possible.

Adam could not fulfill God's command, so all Adam and his woman had to do was wait. God would eventually see that His Word got fulfilled.

But do humans have enough patience to wait for God to move?

GENESIS 2:3   And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This verse makes a difference between creating and making.

"Create" means to make the universe and the earth out of nothing.

God created the spirit of life out of nothing. Then He took the dust that He had created and made bodies for all the plants and animals. There was nothing left undone. Everything was complete. So God rested.

He planned that the son of God, Adam, would rule on earth with his bride (who had no name at this stage) for 1000 years. Woman means that she was taken from the attributes of man.

Satan wrecked this plan. So God has to see that it is fulfilled in the future. That is why Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and His Bride of the Christian Church must rule on earth for 1000 years in the Millennium, which follows Armageddon's battle. The Bride must have no name of her own (Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Message believer, etc.)

"Christian" means that she has the attributes of Christ.

God had a blueprint for His great Plan

GENESIS 2:4   These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

God created the heavens (space) and the earth from nothing, and then He made them perform their functions. God redeems sinners and creates a new spirit in them. Then these saved Christians are made to serve Him to bring His perfect will to pass.

"in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens." What single day is this?

This is when God, in the beginning, planned His blueprint for mankind.

In His mind he considered the Big Picture of His plan as well as every last detail. He could then run a simulation through His mind and see if everything worked out the way He wanted it. God leaves nothing to chance.

Careful planning and a thorough grasp of reality are His trademark skills.

Things are not just moving on into the unknown. God has had it all planned out right from the beginning.

GENESIS 2:5   And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Every plant was first registered in His great mind as a thought. Then His thoughts were later expressed as a spoken Word. Then, such is the power of God; these spoken words were miraculously manifested as real plants and herbs.  But long before they became real, they already had a place in the mind of God where they were just a thought.

Such is the careful attention to detail that God has, that He knew exactly where every one of those multi billions of plants would grow.

Thus we can never claim that God has forgotten us.

His grasp of detail is so exact and so fine-tuned that no item or person can ever slip by Him unnoticed.

No rain. Rain comes from cold air and hot air meeting. In winter, the water vapour in your hot breath hits the car's cold windscreen and condenses into water droplets.

So originally, the earth had no hot and cold zones. The earth was upright on its axis, and God lifted water above the atmosphere (firmament).

GENESIS 1:7   And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

God then split this upper water into its component hydrogen and oxygen atoms which formed a thick, invisible protective veil around the earth. The sun's heat got absorbed by this veil of gases and became uniformly spread out. Then this uniform warmth was radiated down to the earth which thus had a reasonably similar temperature over its surface. With no hot and cold zones, there were no cold air fronts to collide with warmer air and produce rain.

GENESIS 2:6   But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

A gentle mist watered the plants. No erosion happened. The whole earth was like a greenhouse. Lush vegetation was everywhere.

GENESIS 2:7   And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Up till now, Adam had been an invisible spirit-man. Now God decides to put him into a body of flesh. Adam's spirit had been created from nothing in Genesis Chapter 1.

But now God does not create from nothing because Adam's body is made or formed from a handful of existing dust. For the first time, Adam now appears in a physical human body.

GENESIS 2:8   And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

God planted an exquisite garden as a home for His son. It was an earthly paradise. God was giving His son only the best.

The wisdom of man versus faith in the Word of God

GENESIS 2:9    And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Every kind of fruit tree was present. Adam could now eat fruit to provide the necessary food and nutrients for his physical body.

But now that Adam was in a body of flesh and as such, he was no longer a spirit-man.

Now he was provided with alternatives to choose from.

In order to have free will, he had to be able to make personal choices.
MATTHEW 26:41   Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation:

the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The flesh is our weakness.

As a spirit-man, Adam was safe because he could see other spirits. Now his spirit was veiled in the flesh, and his human eyes could no longer see spirits. Thus he could now be fooled by a subtle spirit because it would no longer be visible to him.

Some of the bristlecone pine trees in America have lived for about four and a half to five thousand years. A tree is thus the longest-lived form of life on earth. So a long-living tree is the best symbol on earth for eternal Life. The Tree of life is a symbol for the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit of Christ was the central attraction in Eden for Adam. The Spirit of Christ would teach him and guide him so that he could stay out of the clutches of evil.

There was only one spot that was the midst of the garden.

" The tree of life also in the midst of the garden".

That means the tree of life was not alone in the middle of the garden. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was also in the midst of the garden. How could they both be in the middle? They were completely intertwined or entangled with each other. The two of them together looked like one tree. God would have to give Adam discernment so that he could decide which tree was which. Which Spirit gave life and which spirit gave death. God's Word had to be followed exactly for Adam not to be fooled by the tree of knowledge, which symbolized Satan's knowledge.

The tricky part is that the tree (or spirit) of knowledge had both good and evil. You could look at the good bits and be completely fooled if you ignored the evil bits. From human knowledge comes motor cars that transport us and the same cars kill many people in accidents. Fertilizer helps plants to grow and also runs off into streams and rivers to pollute them. Power stations give us electric energy but pollute the atmosphere causing climate change. The "pill" helps to limit the population explosion but encourages immorality. The internet gives us useful information and pornography and fake news.

So knowledge is very much a mixed blessing as it produces both good and evil.

In the religious realm, the Roman Catholic church produced mother Theresa, who set an exceptional example of helping the helpless in Calcutta. The same church produced some priests who abused children.

How could mankind know the difference between the two trees, which symbolized the unseen Spirit of Christ and the unseen spirit of Satan?  These two spirits were competing for the mind of man.

The mind of man is the only battlefield in which Satan believes that he can defeat God.

God wants man to believe His Word (which is faith), and  Satan wants man to believe any unscriptural alternative that is thought up by the wisdom of human knowledge.

So in the mind of man, it is a battle between wisdom and faith. This is the greatest battle ever fought.

In the brain's complex and entangled pathways, the influences on our thoughts by these two opposing spirits are thoroughly intertwined. We continually get both good and bad thoughts, and we endlessly have to choose what to believe and who to submit ourselves to.

Man would have to strictly follow what God had said in His Word, as this is the only guide that protects us from Satan. If Satan could get a man to move away from being strictly Scriptural, then Satan would fool man with some plausible alternative to Truth. This plausible alternative would be a religion, which is man's way of serving God, but it leads to death.

4 rivers from Eden but only one flowed to a good land

GENESIS 2:10   And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

JOHN 7:38   He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

:39   (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive:)

The river splitting into four different rivers.

One river flows to the good land of Havilah. Three other rivers were present.

This is like the Godhead dispute.

The Lord Jesus Christ is Almighty God versus the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost as 3 separate Persons.

GENESIS 2:11   The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

GENESIS 2:12   And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

The first river ran through the good territory. Manna from heaven had the colour of bdellium. The Jewish high priest wore two onyx stones.
NUMBERS 11:7   And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium
EXODUS 28:9    And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:

The other three rivers ran into territory that was later occupied by enemies of Israel. This symbolizes a man who starts well with God and then falls into error and ends up opposing God.

GENESIS 2:13   And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
II CHRONICLES 14:9  And there came out against them [Israel and Judah]  Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a thousand thousand,

GENESIS 2:14   And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Assyria enslaved the northern kingdom of Israel.

The Euphrates flowed through Babylon, which enslaved the southern kingdom of Judah.

One river's water flowed into a good territory, and then three rivers flowed into what later became an enemy territory. This symbolized spiritually that the Jews would believe in one God while the Babylonians worshipped a trinity.

The trinity concept then spread to places like India and Egypt and Pergamos and Rome and became an established form of pagan worship. This finally entered the Roman Catholic church and then infiltrated the non-Catholic and Protestant churches. Trinity was built upon ideas that are based on Greek philosophy.

"One God in three Persons".

"Father and Son are of the same substance or of the same essence".

"Eternal Sonship".

"Second Person of the Godhead".

"Jesus is in the Godhead".

None of these above expressions is in the Bible, nor is the word Trinity in Scripture.

Thus the implications of the unscriptural Trinity stretched out further corrupting all it touched.

God lost His name because you cannot find one name for three persons.

Churches then refused to baptize in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38) by claiming that what Peter said was a mistake.

Then they baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost although they have got no clue what that name is. Then they pretend that three titles are somehow a name. That perverts the English language.

We are supposed to keep the Bible just the way it is written with no verses being changed as every verse is the truth.

GENESIS 2:15   And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Then we would realize that Jesus Christ is the name of the Father (God above the Jews) and of the Son (God with the Jews) and of the Holy Ghost (God in the church).

A key lesson: God placed the man in Eden. Adam was willingly completely under the control of God.

God told him that his function was to look after the garden of Eden and keep it the way that God had made it.

God has given us the 1769 Version of the King James Bible as the infallible Truth and we must believe every verse just the way it is written. We must keep the Bible and explain it just the way it is written.

Carnal knowledge means sex

GENESIS 2:16   And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

God had declared all the fruit trees to be good on the first day.

GENESIS 1:12    And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:

and God saw that it was good.

Natural fruit was not going to cause any problems. To this day, fruit is still recommended as part of a healthy diet.

GENESIS 2:17   But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

The warning that Adam received was against the tree of knowledge.

This was not a natural tree, as they were all good.

This was something else that Adam had to guard against. God had to teach Adam about this tree of knowledge so that Adam could discern the error and avoid being fooled.

The woman's attributes were still inside the spirit of man, and as such, she was totally unaware of what was going on.

God planned to provide Adam with a wife and then she must bring forth the virgin-born Son, Jesus.

Jesus would grow up and then speak all of His saints from the dust of the earth.

Satan planned to convince Adam and his future wife to bring forth life through sex. It is no sin for a man to have sex with his wife, so how could that be wrong? That was a good argument. The problem is that the baby would not have eternal life and would thus have to die sometime.

God was already setting a time limit on multiplication by sex. It would be one day.

One of God's days, which is 1000 of our years.

No-one born of sex would last 1000 years. So far, the oldest man was Methuselah, who lived for 969 years.

GENESIS 5:27   And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

II PETER 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Knowledge can also mean the sex act, as sex is defined in law as "carnal knowledge".
GENESIS 4:1   And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Adam "knew" his wife means that he had "carnal knowledge" with her. He had eaten of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. People born of sex can be good people or evil people. The problem with multiplication by sex is that all the evil persons, like Hitler, have to burn in hell.

The first person born of sex was Cain, and he lied to God about his brother Abel after he had killed Abel. So the first man born of sex was a liar and a murderer.

But this is how the Bible describes the devil.
JOHN 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Thus it sounds like Cain was the son of the devil, rather than being the son of Adam.

So being born of sex really got off to a bad start.

Interestingly enough, although Cain was the firstborn, the Book of Chronicles never refers to him. This is a strange omission as the firstborn always had pre-eminence and received a double portion.

The Bible says Cain was born of the wicked one

I JOHN 3:12   Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother.

MATTHEW 13:19   When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

The wicked one would refer to the devil, who stops people believing.

Satan has to work through people who speak to a person in order to convince him or her to reject the Word.

The "wicked one" has a double meaning.

It refers both to the Devil that is in the person as well as the person who has handed over his or her mind to the Devil in order to be used by the Devil.

"Wicked one" cannot refer to Adam, as Adam is called the son of God.
LUKE 3:38   ... Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Eve was punished for being pregnant as she had a conception.

GENESIS 3:16   Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;

Adam was not the father.

No husband can be punished for making his wife pregnant.

In Eden the woman was a sealed fountain of life

GENESIS 2:18   And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Now the stage is being set for the showdown in Eden. When Adam was a spirit-man he could see other spirits and thus easily identify the devil and thus not be fooled by him. It was also fine for him to have the feminine attributes of his future bride in his spirit. She was completely unaware of anything at that stage. Similarly, you were in your father as a sperm cell when he was young, and you were completely unaware of that fact. Only when you got a physical body from your mother did you start to become conscious of what was going on.

But now that Adam was in the flesh, he could no longer see spirits and was thus more liable to be fooled by an unseen spirit. Now that he was in the flesh, it was no longer good for him to have the woman's physical attributes in him. Male and female required separate bodies in which to express themselves.

God now decides that the physical man, Adam, needs a bride to bring forth the virgin-born Son. This is the only way that eternal life can come and dwell on planet earth.

If Adam and his bride bring forth a child through sex, that would just be human life, and the child will not make 1000 years old.

Adam's bride must have her sexual organs to bring forth life either by the virgin birth or by sex. That is her free choice.

Then Adam must also have sexual organs, or else there would be no alternative choice to the virgin birth. But Adam's sexual organs could never bring forth eternal life.

In the same sense, humans develop religious rituals, but these should never be used as they cannot bring forth eternal life.

Thus, the tree or spirit of life (the virgin birth) and the tree or spirit of knowledge (childbirth through sex) are competing for the woman's womb.

Her womb is in the midst of her body.

Both trees were in the midst of the garden. What can a garden symbolize?
SONG OF SOLOMON 4:12   A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

A garden is a symbol of a woman. An inclosed or enclosed garden has a wall around it. Women are to be protected.

A sealed fountain of life: A woman's most precious virtue is her veil of virginity. God wants the fountain of eternal Life, which is the Spirit of Christ, to come forth in a Child that formed safely shut up in a sealed womb.

So the Spirit of Christ wants Adam and his bride to wait for 1000 years before she is overshadowed by the Holy Spirit to bring forth the virgin-born Son - The baby Jesus conceived behind the sealed veil of virginity.

The Seed (the Word) inside the fruit (the Baby). This would be a fruitful conception that will then bring forth eternal life in all the saints that Jesus later speaks into existence from the dust of the earth.

The tree of the devil's knowledge of good and evil would involve breaking the veil of virginity and conceiving a child behind a broken veil. This would be ordinary human life, which cannot last 1000 years.

The two trees are entangled or intertwined. Both spirits put thoughts into the woman's mind to use her womb for the two different childbirth methods.

Adam and his bride were in Eden for a long time, not one day of 24 hours.

GENESIS 2:19   And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Adam had a long task ahead of him. Adam now had to think up suitable names for all the different kinds of animals and birds. There are about 9000 different species of birds on earth today. Thinking up 9000 different names would have taken some time. If he named one species per minute then it would take him about 13 days, assuming he had 12 hours of daylight to work in and no lunch break was used.

But Adam would need to study each bird and animal for some time before he could think up an appropriate name so the whole process of naming the birds and animals would take a long time.

Plus he had to learn all the aspects of gardening that he needed to know so that he could keep the Garden of Eden the way that God had made it.

So the sixth day and seventh day could not have been just single 24-hour days.

GENESIS 2:20   And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

There are about 5500 species of mammals on earth today. In Adam's day, there were probably far more species than there are today. Nevertheless, it would have taken him some time to name them all.

If a day was 1000 of our years, then what was the pressure to rush the task?

In the kingdom of God there was at first no blood

GENESIS 2:21   And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

God performed the first modern operation under anesthetic. God then took part of Adam, a rib, and closed up the cut. There would be no scar because God is the Master Plastic Surgeon. Then instead of discarding the removed part, God did something completely supernatural. He made a brand new woman. This was not cloning as the woman was very different from the man. But Adam's rib had been very close to his heart, and this symbolized the deep love that Adam would have for his woman.

GENESIS 2:22   And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

God had put Adam in the garden of Eden. Then God brought his bride to him. We should all learn to be more dependent on what God provides for us rather than rushing around to fulfill our own desires and ambitions.

GENESIS 2:23   And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

There is no mention of blood. This is quite critical. Adam spoke of flesh and bones only. If there was no blood, then it means that the Holy Spirit was flowing through their veins.

Without blood, sex is impossible because blood has to enter the male penis and cause an erection.

Thus both Adam and his bride were unable to have sex while they were in the original bodies that God made for them.

The woman had a veil of virginity, which showed that God did not want her to have sex.

Adam and his bride both had eternal life, which was the Holy Spirit flowing through their veins.

I CORINTHIANS 15:50   Now this I say, brethren, that

flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;

Blood can't be part of eternal life, which is God's perfect will.  Blood life represents God's permissive will, which is temporary.

Jesus shed all His Blood at Calvary to atone for our sins.

Then He appeared in a resurrected Body that had flesh and bone but no mention of Blood.
LUKE 24:39   Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Blood is not part of the kingdom of God.

Blood is not part of eternity.

The mystery of sin is that blood entered the human race when sin entered.

So blood is always symbolic of sin. We need to find out why animal blood was used to atone for sin.

The serpent, the highest mammal between ape and man, broke Eve's veil of virginity which shed blood. An animal shedding blood was the original sin. So God required the shed blood of an animal to atone for sin.

We also need to find out why God never told Adam and Eve to repent after sinning.

Eve was no longer a virgin. So God could not use her womb for the virgin-born son. She had committed a sin which could not be undone.

This seems to be a very strange oversight. God gives the rest of us humans a chance to repent. Why did he not give Adam and Eve a chance to repent?

GENESIS 2:24   Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

This is a future prophecy.

God knew that sin would enter and mess up human relationships.

So God wanted to establish marriage as an island of stability in an uncertain world.

God advocated establishing the marriage bond between husband and wife as being stronger than the family bond between parents and children. This symbolized the greatest love of all, the love between Jesus and His Bride, which is the true church. Many marriages break up because of parental interference with their married children. There can easily be friction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

Or a dominating father can still seek to control his married son or daughter.

So it is sound advice for a newly married man and wife to set up home on their own, and thus allow God to guide them on their future path, rather than be guided by domineering or interfering parents.

GENESIS 2:25   And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

They were in bloodless bodies. Without blood in their bodies, sex was impossible. Thus their sex organs meant nothing to them as they had no use for them. They were innocent in much the same way that small children are oblivious of their nakedness.

If they stayed strictly with what God had said, then they would be safe.

If they listened to a clever interpretation that was not exactly the same as what God had said, then they would be fooled.

They had free will. The choice was there for them to make.
