Feast of the Trumpets

23 September 2025 will come and go because the Jewish Feasts are a shadow, not a reality.

The Feasts are only a shadow of something real

The Feast of the Trumpets refers only to the Jews to drive them back to Israel.

The Feasts are not the reality. There is no substance in a shadow. Yet a shadow can look more impressive than its reality.

We have to puzzle out the New Testament reality that these shadows of the Law point to.

HEBREWS 10:1  “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.”

The Old Testament Law is just a shadow that has no reality in itself as it made nobody perfect.

But the Law pointed to a New Testament reality of the sacrifice of Christ by the Jews and the future seven Gentile church ages before the Gospel returns to the 144000 Jews during the 3½ years of great tribulation.

The Jews had 8 feasts

The Sabbath day of rest from work on the seventh day of the week. This represented the 1000-years of rest and peace when Jesus will set up His Kingdom after the battle of Armageddon.

A 1000 years is a millennium.

2 PETER 3:8  “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

God created the heaven, Sun, Moon, stars, and the Earth out of nothing, at the beginning before time began.

GENESIS 1:1  “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Then, at some unspecified later time,  for 6000 years, six of God’s Days because there was no man around to use a 24 hour-day, God modified things so that the surface of the Earth could support life in the Paradise of Eden.

The son of God, Adam, and his bride were left in charge for the seventh Day but they messed up and creation was wrecked by the entrance of sin.

Thus, after winning the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus the true Son of God and His Bride, who are the true believers from 2000 years of church history, will rule the Earth for 1000 years.

This will finally complete God’s original Plan for the 7th Day.

The 1000-year Kingdom of Peace and Rest is God’s real Sabbath Day which He will finally fulfill.

We have thus puzzled out the reality that the Saturday Sabbath Day pointed to, which is the future Kingdom in the Millennium.

Thus, Satan can interrupt a plan of God, but he cannot stop it from coming to pass.

The next three feasts referred to the ministry of Christ.

The Feast of the Passover celebrated Christ’s victory over Satan at Calvary.

The 7 days of the Feast of unleavened bread refer to Christ’s holy Presence in the church as He guided and protected them through the seven church ages.

The Sunday Wave Offering of the first ripe sheaf of harvest representing Jesus as the first to resurrect in a perfect bloodless body as He waved goodbye to Death, Hell, and the Grave. He shed His blood to wash away our sins. Then the resurrected Old Testament saints would follow Him in their perfect bloodless bodies as Jesus was the first ripe sheaf, followed by the rest of the Old Testament harvest.

The Feast of Pentecost referred to the birth of the New Testament church on the Day of Pentecost. The New Testament church of the first church age was the only church age that established the real truth, thanks to the apostles. Thus, this feast only lasted one day. That symbolizes that only the first church age actually had the real truth from the apostles. The other six church ages were partly true and partly corrupted by pagan ideas, politics, money-obsession, and church traditions and man-made organizations.

The last three feasts refer to the Jews only

The last three feasts refer to the future grafting in of the Jews at the end of the seventh church age after the seven church ages are finished.

Romans 11:24  “For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?”

The first of the last 3 feasts refers to the Trumpets calling for the future return of the Jews to Israel after the end of the 7th church age, as they endure the persecutions of the 3½ years of great tribulation.

The second of the last 3 feasts refers to the future sorrow of the Jews when they realise what the Jews did to their Messiah. That will occur when the 144000 Jews meet their Messiah in Jerusalem at the end of great Tribulation.

The last feast refers to the Jews living in the 1000-year Kingdom of Peace that is set up after the Battle of Armageddon. Often called the Millennium.

The Feast of the Trumpets is a shadow and not a reality

The shadow of the Old Testament Law points to some deeper New Testament spiritual reality.

HEBREWS 10:1  “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.”

LEVITICUS 23:3   “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein:

it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.”

COLOSSIANS 2:16  “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”

:17  “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

Everything in the Old Testament Law is a shadow that has no real substance. But it does act as an outline that must be fulfilled by some New Testament event or events.

What reality in the New Testament do the Feast of the trumpets refer to?

LEVITICUS 23:24  “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.”

A Sabbath is just a shadow.

Seven means completion. Seven days completes a week.

This sabbath or holy day refers to how God turns back to the Jews after the seventh church age in order to complete the 70th week of Daniel.

The "first" day of the 7th month means God is starting the completion of this last week for the Jews.

Half of that week was fulfilled in the 3½ years of Christ’s ministry.

The second half of that week will be fulfilled by the 3½ years of great tribulation.

The blowing of trumpets has two functions.

First to bring or force the Jews back to Israel.

Then, to gather the 144000 Jews to meet their Messiah in Jerusalem.

That prepares them for the Day of Atonement on the 10th day of the seventh month.

Ten means the end. The end of Israel’s separation from their Messiah.

They meet their Messiah with tears of repentant grief as they realize it was Jews who killed Him.

Who blows the trumpets?

NUMBERS 10:2   “Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.”

Gold represents God. Silver represents salvation.

Two prophets, Moses and Elijah, must guide the Jews on a journey back to Israel so that the 144000 Jews can assemble in Jerusalem to meet their Messiah.

REVELATION 11:3  “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

1260 days is 42 months. Each Bible month is 30 days.

42 months is 3½ years. The time of great tribulation.

Revelation Chapters 8 and 9 speak of 7 angelic Trumpets which are supernatural interruptions of the forces of Nature that will be under the control of these two prophets.

These supernatural disasters will drive the Jews back to Israel.

Look at the first supernatural trumpet blown by the first of the seven angels.

REVELATION 8:7  “The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.”

Hail burning with fire is what happened in Egypt when Moses prepared the Jews for their Exodus to Israel.

EXODUS 9:23  “And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.”

When the Jews see hail mingled with fire, they will know it is a sign that they must get back to their Promised Land. But many will stubbornly refuse, so another six trumpets of supernatural destructions will follow to force them to return to Israel.

64-0823 — QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS #2

I never said gather yourselves on the Trumpets.
I said Israel gathered on the Trumpets, not the Gentile Bride.
No, no! The Trumpets, the sounding of the Seven Trumpets was to gather Israel (how many know that?) from all over the …
We don’t gather on the Trumpets, the Bride doesn’t.

64-0719 — THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS

Now, I have been anticipating for sometime

to speak on the subject of the Seven Trumpets

in the Book of Revelation.
And now we are going to review this, just a moment, to bring out the real cause of me not speaking this time,
because the Holy Spirit would not let me speak at this time on these things.
… When I went into the room, to try to understand, it was there that the Holy Spirit opened up this, to show me the reason it not profitable even for the Church at this time,
’cause it has nothing to do with the Church, at all.

Trying to make 23 September 2025 refer to the Rapture, or catching up of the church to meet the Lord in the air, is a brittle mirage that will not stand the test of time.
