Father and Son are one Person, the Lord Jesus

We can't understand Jesus being Man and God. When He acts as God, don't think of Him as being a Man at that same time
- God is a mysterious combination of Spirit and flesh
- God is a mysterious union of Supernatural and humanity
- God was fully in Christ right from His conception
- Eve was punished for being pregnant
- Do not think of Jesus as God and Man at the same time
- Spirit of God is not limited by fully dwelling in Jesus
- Jesus was God from birth as it was God who became a Man
God is a mysterious combination of Spirit and flesh
Are Father and Son two separate People?
Or are they two manifestations of the Holy Spirit, the supernatural and the humanity or flesh, of Christ?
The mind is where your spirit functions which produces your nature as a person.
Your mind manifests both a conscious and a subconscious ability. But you do not have two minds.
The problem with describing the supernatural is that we do not have the appropriate vocabulary.
By “humanity”, I mean the body, soul, and human nature or human spirit of Jesus.
But “mind”, “nature”, and “spirit” are interchangeable words that basically mean the same thing.
ROMANS 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is
the mind of the Spirit
EPHESIANS 4:23 And be renewed in
the spirit of your mind;
"The mind of the Spirit" and "the spirit of your mind" uses the words "mind" and "spirit" interchangeably. Thus the two words have the same meaning.
So, “humanity” covers all aspects of a human being. We can also use the word “flesh” to represent the humanity of a person.
“Flesh” and “humanity” are interchangeable words.
We will use the term “humanity” or “flesh” to describe what we mean by the word “Son”.
Then the word “Father” will represent what we mean by the “supernatural” Spirit.
I TIMOTHY 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
In the Man Jesus, both the human and the supernatural manifestations of God were revealed.
In the following diagram, the yellow represents the supernatural Spirit of God. The red circle represents His humanity which was always subject to the supernatural.
Then, Adam was created in the image of God as a miniature spirit. This human spirit-man (red) had feminine attributes (green) within him in the same way that the (yellow) supernatural Spirit of God had (red) human attributes in Him.
God created a human Being for Himself to dwell in when the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
HEBREWS 1:3 [Jesus] Who being the brightness of his [God’s] glory, and the express image of his [God’s] person,
Thus, all of God’s supernatural Spirit dwelled in Jesus and Jesus, as a Man, was the express image of what God would look like if God appeared as a Man on earth.
In Jesus, God stretched His Tent and came down to live with us as a Man.
The Holy Spirit in Jesus had both Human and Supernatural manifestations.
For Jesus to be fully human, He must have all that it takes to be human, which includes a body, a human spirit, and a human soul.
This is what makes a human. Jesus is human in every way but without any sin.
Jesus is human just like we are human. Otherwise, He could not have paid the price on behalf of us humans as a Kinsman Redeemer.
We are human because we only have a human spirit (until we are born again).
Jesus is fully human, and yet He is much more. He, somehow impossible though it sounds, is also fully God.
COLOSSIANS 2:2 … to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
There is a deeper relationship and mystery attached to God because Paul draws a difference between God and the Father. He does not just say "God the Father".
So, what is the difference between God and the Father?
The Father is the Supernatural (called Jehovah in the Old Testament) but not the humanity of Christ.
The Son is the humanity (called Jesus in the New Testament) but not the Supernatural.
God is a mysterious union of Supernatural and humanity
The Jehovah of the Old Testament became the Jesus of the New Testament.
Thus, Jesus is the human name of God as all of God now lived in the Man Jesus.
Jesus is not just some man that God jumped into and animated. God actually became a Man.
JOHN 1:14 ... and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
The word "made" implies "to become”. God became a man because God is not a man.
NUMBERS 23:19 God is not a man,
God is a Spirit. God is not flesh and blood.
God did not enter Jesus at some stage. God was always in Him as wise men worshipped Him as a 2-year-old Child.
MATTHEW 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother,
and fell down, and worshipped him:
Jesus is Father and Son, distinct roles and manifestations but the same Person revealing Himself in different ways.
Who God is, does not change. It is just the way God manifests Himself that changes.
He can walk on water as God or sail over the water as a Man. Somehow, mysteriously, He is the God-Man. Fully God and fully Man.
Jesus was not a separate Person that God only indwelt.
The human attributes of humanity were always in God.
The humanity of Jesus had to develop and mature as He grew from Child to Adult.
But the supernatural was His inner Teacher. The supernatural and the human were intertwined just like the conscious and the subconscious minds of a person. They are not two minds. They are just different manifestations of one mind. The subconscious makes your heart beat and makes you breathe while you are asleep. You cannot consciously do those things.
Jesus was born as Christ (the anointed One) the Lord. The Lord is God.
Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.
He was born as God in the flesh.
ISAIAH 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
God’s nature cannot change.
MALACHI 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
God’s humanity was always inside Him, but this humanity could not manifest itself properly until God developed His human body.
As that human body grew, God could develop His human attributes in that body of the Man Jesus.
The human and the supernatural are not two spirits but just manifestations of the same Spirit. A woman can manifest herself as a mother and as a daughter, but she is one person, not two.
The distinctions between the Father and Son are between humanity and Deity, Man and God, which is what Jesus is.
God was fully in Christ right from His conception
God caused the birth of Jesus, so God was Jesus' Father physically.
God caused that "Body" to come into being when God created the holy Fetus (or Foetus) in the womb of Mary. Impossible though it seems to us, the infinite Spirit of God was able to indwell that tiny developing Baby.
ISAIAH 45:15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Hidden in the womb of an unknown and ordinary woman, God could fool Satan, who did not know what was happening.
Be careful when you think there is safety in the big churches. Satan has already infiltrated them.
That is not where God operates. It is in small groups where unknown people serve God that the real plan of God unfolds. Joseph and Mary were unknown to historians. If it were not for the Bible, we would know nothing about them. Nazareth was an unsavoury town that people did not notice. Nazareth is never even mentioned in the Old Testament.
JOHN 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?
So, Mary was a humble, unknown woman who lived in a not-very-pleasant town. Yet God achieved more through her than what the famous chief priests, Pharisees, Sadducees, and Rabbis ever achieved.
We must be careful when we are too impressed with famous modern-day preachers in our modern churches in the 2020s.
Not one parable concerning the end-time church nor one end-time prophecy says anything good about the end-time church.
The real plan of God, which is the return of the end-time spiritual children to the beliefs of the apostolic fathers of the first church age, will be achieved by unknown and non-famous people. Usually rejected people.
Just as the Jewish religious leaders opposed Jesus, the well-known preachers of today spend their time opposing the revelation of the mysteries of Scripture. They build on human quotes rather than written Scripture. As a result, the church-goers are becoming increasingly Bible-illiterate.
Certain Catholic and Orthodox churches make a big mistake when they believe that Mary provided all the cells to make the Body of Jesus.
LUKE 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and
the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
I SAMUEL 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD:
No human can be anywhere as holy as God. Thus, God could not use any parts of Mary to make the perfectly holy Baby in which God was now dwelling.
Holiness comes from God alone. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary. That makes the Holy Spirit the Father of Jesus.
So, the Holy Spirit is God the Father.
God is Holy. God is a Spirit. Thus, God the Father cannot be described in any other way than as the Holy Spirit. And there is only one Spirit.
EPHESIANS 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit,
God could not use the humanity of Mary. She was not holy enough and she was not infinite as Jesus is. You cannot make the Infinite out of the finite.
Genesis Chapter 1. God says to the Adam-woman spirit, “Be fruitful and multiply”.
GENESIS 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply,
Only a spirit can be in the image of the Spirit of God.
What does fruitful mean? This is spiritual multiplication, not physical multiplication by sex, as they had no bodies yet.
What is spiritual multiplication?
GENESIS 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind,
whose seed is in itself,
upon the earth: and it was so.
LUKE 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
LUKE 1:42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
The fruit is the baby. The fruit tree is the mother.
The seed is the Word of God.
To be fruitful, the mother must bring forth a Baby who is the Word of God, Jesus Christ.
The Word of God, which is God, must be in the Baby from the beginning.
The initial plan was that the Holy Spirit should overshadow Eve and produce the virgin-born Son Jesus.
Jesus would grow up, have no sins to die for and then He would speak all His saints from the dust of the earth. That is what He is going to do on the day of resurrection.
I CORINTHIANS 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
There is no blood in Heaven. Thus there was no blood in Eden.
God was speaking to the spirit Adam-woman-being who also had no blood as they only got physical bodies in Chapter 2.
So, this is spiritual multiplication without sex.
At this stage, the woman, being the feminine attribute in Adam’s spirit, had no body parts.
Without blood, a male cannot achieve an erection, so there cannot be sex at this stage.
Jesus was the only Person born outside of sex as He had to be the Saviour.
Eternal life cannot come through sex.
HEBREWS 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not,
but a body hast thou prepared me:
God prepared the Body of Jesus, not Mary.
Mary did not have the Word in her as she denied that God was the Father of Jesus when she claimed in the Temple that Joseph was His father. That was a bad mistake. She denied His virgin birth.
LUKE 2:48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold,
thy father and I
have sought thee sorrowing.
Claiming that Joseph was His Father was a huge mistake. A real act of unbelief.
But she was dead scared in the presence of all those priests who could not believe in the virgin birth. Ordinary people are intimidated by church leaders who readily act as spiritual bullies.
Jesus came from the womb of Mary, and thus everyone called her the mother of Jesus.
But Jesus never called her “Mother”. He always called her “Woman”.
Why not “Mother”? Because He had no chromosome X from her. If any part of Mary was in His Body, then He would have to call her mother.
JOHN 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
JOHN 19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
:27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
Jesus allowed John to adopt Mary as his mother. But Jesus never called Mary His mother.
Eve was punished for being pregnant
Now, look at Genesis Chapter 3.
Eve is punished for being pregnant. She had a conception. Cain.
GENESIS 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;
God now permitted sex as His permissive will. But it would have unpleasant consequences.
Yet Adam was her lawful husband, so God could not punish her if Adam was the father.
But she was being punished for this pregnancy, so Adam was not the father of Cain. That is why Eve claimed to have a son from God because God is the author of all life. She never claimed to have a son from Adam.
GENESIS 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
:2 And she again bare his brother Abel.
Eve had one conception from Adam, and two children were born as twins.
But before this conception, she already had a conception in Eden from the serpent who was a mammal, a creature between man and ape which made Cain big so that his descendants could be giants.
The serpent could speak and reason. No snake can do that. The serpent was a beast, a mammal. He was "subtil" or subtle, very clever and cunning.
GENESIS 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field
The serpent was no snake at the beginning. After sin entered, he was cursed and turned into a snake.
That is why Adam is never called the father of all living, but Eve is known as the mother of all living.
GENESIS 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Eve only got a name after she had fallen. At first, she was wo-man, taken from man.
A woman symbolizes a church. If a church is called by some name like Baptist, Methodist, Message-believer, etc. then it means that they also have fallen into sin. We must never be called anything other than Christian, from Christ.
GENESIS 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;
There is no mention of “fruitful” because she chose multiplication by sex.
The day you eat thereof you die, said God.
GENESIS 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The longest-lived man born of sex was Methuselah whose age was 969. Then he died.
A day with God is 1000 years, so born of sex you cannot live 1000 years.
II PETER 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
God now punishes the idea that all children are born of sex by making childbirth difficult. In addition, none of these children has eternal life. Eternal life cannot pass from parents to children through the sex act.
God gave Eve a veil of virginity to stop her from having sex. But the serpent broke that veil, and blood was shed.
Original sin was an animal shedding blood. That is why God demanded the shed blood of an animal as the atonement of sin.
In Genesis Chapter 1, God said to Adam, “Multiply”.
Spiritual multiplication should have been Eve having the virgin-born Jesus. He would grow up and speak only the saints from the dust.
Chapter 3 has God saying to Eve, “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception”
Eve rejected this plan for her to have a virgin birth in order to have a conception from the serpent by sex. As a consequence, women would have to bring forth everyone, the original righteous saints as well as all the excess unbelievers who would be born of sex and human free will. “Greatly multiply” implies a huge amount of unsaved sinners. The difficulty of pregnancy and childbirth shows God’s punishment for this method of multiplication through sex.
A recent report states that the only thing more painful than childbirth is being burned alive.
Childbirth pain is thus a harsh sentence from God. This has carried on for 6000 years. So, God is still punishing birth by sex. One of the reasons that women hated rape was the possibility of falling pregnant (pregnancy is associated with the Fall) and then having that severe pain inflicted on them in childbirth as well as the trauma of the rape.
An interesting puzzle for you to solve.
Genesis 3:16 “…thy desire shall be to thy husband”.
Women generally marry a man because they love him and want to have sex with him. Why should their sexual desire for their husband, which they enjoy, be part of their punishment?
Jesus will resurrect His Bride by speaking them from the dust in immortal bodies at His Second Coming. Spiritual multiplication by a man. Not sexual multiplication by a woman.
Do not think of Jesus as God and Man at the same time
God and man are impossible opposites as God is infinite and eternal and man is not.
Because Jesus was a Man, many people feel that He also cannot be God.
God does not sleep. God does not eat. God does not die.
So just think of Jesus being a Human, like we are. Do not think of Him being God at the same time.
When He shows Himself as a fellow human, we gain nothing by trying to prove that He is God at those times.
Other occasions confirm that He is definitely God.
The mystery of the Godhead is partly solved by the matter of timing. Discerning which ministry He was revealing at any particular time.
God was manifest as Human and as Supernatural
God became Man, so that man might become like God.
We don’t have the proper vocabulary to explain this easily.
A “human spirit” and a “supernatural Spirit” make it sound like two Spirits.
It is one Spirit that can be manifest in two opposite ways, as human or as Supernatural.
(A woman can act as a mother or a daughter, but that is not 2 spirits in her).
So, Jesus surrendered His humanity to His supernatural.
Jesus cannot change.
HEBREWS 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
If He is ever God, He is always God. If He is ever Man, He is always Man.
He manifested His humanity when He ate, and He manifested His supernatural when He created bread for 5000 men.
When He died, He emphasized His humanity so that He could die as a sinner in our place. When He resurrected, He emphasized His supernatural.
Jesus was an “impossible-to-comprehend” Man-God combination all the time. Sometimes emphasizing Manhood and at other times emphasizing Godhood.
It helps to think of those manifestations separately.
Do not think of Him as Man and God at the same time. Our brains cannot comprehend a King Who is a Servant, a Lion Who is a Lamb. For each instance, choose the right manifestation.
When He died, He was the Redeemer, so don’t think of Him at that moment as the Creator as well. He was the Creator but our brains cannot happily process the information of a Redeemer and a Creator dying. We cannot comprehend Jesus having two opposite ministries wrapped up in one Person AT THE SAME TIME.
So, think of His attributes separately, not all simultaneously.
People say He was not God because God never sleeps. When Jesus sleeps, think of Him as Man. When He calms the storm, think of Him as God, but not as a Man. Men do not calm storms.
Jesus is not a man that God jumped into and walked around in. Jesus' human existence was fathered by God. The First Adam also didn't have a human father.
God did not merely enter a human body, but God (the Father) became a human being (the Son) by creating a human body around Himself.
In such a union, whatever can be said of Christ's divine nature, or of His human nature, can be attributed to Christ's whole Person.
Christ's Person is one unified whole, not two fragmented parts.
Not two natures. One nature that can manifest as human (sail on water) or manifest as supernatural (walk on water on another occasion).
Spirit of God is not limited by fully dwelling in Jesus
God continues to exist as the transcendent, unlimited Spirit while also existing as a Man. God did not become confined to a human existence. It was not as though the omnipresent Spirit of God transformed Himself into a Man to the exclusion of His existence as Spirit.
God became incarnate as He developed this human Body and assumed a different way of Salvation as He shed His own blood.
ACTS 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God,
which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Grace instead of Law. God paying the price for our sins instead of us having to pay.
God earning our salvation by what He did on Calvary rather than us trying to earn salvation by our good and obedient works.
God had to manifest His humanity at Calvary to die as a sinner in our place. His Divinity could not do this.
God has always been our Savior, but we only have one Saviour, not two.
As the Son, He came to save us in a way that no one else has ever done, nor had anyone else ever thought of such a plan. Our God became like us, walked among us, and died like us.
His physical nature never died as that was the humanity in His Spirit. Death is just the separation of the Spirit from the Body.
JAMES 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead
When He died, the Holy Spirit, which was both His supernatural and His humanity, simply left His Body and took our sins down to hell to dump them on the Devil. Nothing happened to that Spirit. It simply operated outside His body for 3 days.
When you die, your spirit leaves your body. The body will rot after 3 days, but nothing happens to your spirit as you remain a conscious being that has to face either Heaven or hell.
Jesus was God from birth as it was God who became a Man
As Jesus grew up, so the supernatural Spirit trained His developing humanity.
Jesus' humanity could never have existed apart from the supernatural Spirit.
Jesus was an impossible-to-understand-manifestation of God and Man.
He expressed humanity and Divinity all the time in His ministry.
The mystery of the Godhead is that we humans cannot understand Jesus being both God and Man simultaneously.
What helps our limited understanding is to think of Him either as a Man or as God at each stage of His ministry. But He is always both as the Humanity and Deity in Him are inextricably linked.
I TIMOTHY 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
When God was manifested in the flesh, His supernatural Spirit was wrapped up in human Man.
When God became flesh, God took into union with Himself the human nature.
There was a relationship and union between the Deity and humanity of Christ that occurred the moment the Holy Ghost conceived in Mary’s womb.
Jesus was not adopted as God’s Son, or made into a divine being at some point later in His life by the Father "infusing" His Spirit in Jesus.
But Christ never had “two natures”.
Nature comes from the Spirit. There is only one Spirit.
EPHESIANS 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit,
The Holy Spirit manifests in both the humanity and the Divinity of Christ.
Not two Spirits. Not two natures. Think rather of two manifestations of one Holy Spirit, sometimes in the flesh and at other times in the Spirit.
Jesus, as God, was a manifestation of the supernatural Spirit but was also somehow able to manifest Himself in human flesh as a Man.
In other words, we do not conceive of it even being possible that Jesus could ever be "just a man."
JOHN 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus as a Man was the Lord of Thomas. Yet Jesus was also his supernatural God.
HEBREWS 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
This means that Jesus can never change. So if Jesus was Lord and God at any time, he is always Lord and God at any other time.
JOHN 4:24 God is a Spirit
God is thus not physical; He is supernatural.
Consequently, the Body and blood of Jesus cannot be God as they are physical. God is not physical because He is a Spirit.
The only part of Jesus that can be God is the supernatural Spirit within Him. Because that is what God is, a supernatural Spirit.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
All of God was fully in Christ from conception to death.
There was never a time when the Spirit of God was not in Christ. God did not just live in flesh as a Man, but the "Word became flesh" (John 1:14).
God is now a Man, in the sense that He now has a physical body which we could all see in addition to being Spirit. God becoming a man does not mean He no longer exists as the omnipresent Spirit, but it does mean that His existence as a man is both authentic and permanent.
There was no separation of natures within Jesus as though He is two separate individuals living in one body.
Nature comes from the Spirit. There is only one Spirit. Thus, Christ and the Father cannot be two Spirits or two Persons.
EPHESIANS 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit,
The flesh of Christ is not a mere shell that Deity moves within, and neither is Jesus' humanity independent of His Deity. In Christ, the Spirit of God was inextricably and inseparably joined with humanity.
Jesus is God with us as a Man.
We are made in the image of God.
But, in Jesus, God made an image of Himself.
HEBREWS 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory,
and the express image of his person,
God made the Man, Jesus. One Person, one Man. Never 3 Men.
