A remarkable prophecy

DANIEL 9:24   Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people

From the year 446 BC when the Persian king Artaxerxes told Nehemiah to rebuild Jerusalem’s wall, there would be 490 Bible years (of 360 days) and then the 1000-year Kingdom of Peace (often called the Millennium) would be set up with the Jews ruling the world.

All the Jews had to do was to accept Messiah during the 7 years of His ministry when He came to be baptized towards the end of the year AD 29.

Messiah was introduced by one of the most dynamic prophets, John the Baptist who shook the whole of Israel. Everyone knew that a prophet had arrived.

Jesus asked the chief priests where John the Baptist got his authority from. From God or from men? They were scared to answer because if they denied he was a prophet of God, the people would protest.

MATTHEW 21:26   But if we [the chief priests] shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

But when the Jews killed Messiah at the cross after 3½ years in AD 33, everything changed.

History would then run down the path that Daniel prophesied.

The dividing of time

A 2000-year interval of seven church ages would follow the crucifixion. Only then, during the 3½ years of great Tribulation, would God turn back to the Jews for their final 3½ years that still have to be fulfilled.

During the 7 church ages no time was counted as God was not dealing with the Jews.

The final time of 7 years is divided in half by the 7 church ages.

Thus, the 7 church ages can be referred to as "the dividing of time".

The beast is the ruthless power of pagan Rome that was destroyed in AD 476 by the barbarians and resurrected itself on the ruins of the pagan Roman Empire as the Roman Catholic church. The Catholics will persecute the true church and seek to destroy the influence of the King James Bible (which is Jesus in Word form) just like the pagan Romans used Pontius Pilate to destroy Jesus as a Man. This desolation of truth by changing, contradicting, and ignoring Scriptures will continue to the end. The time allocated is until "the dividing of time" or 7 church ages is complete. The pagan Romans killed Jesus at the start of the dividing of time. The Roman Catholic's denominational system of organized religion opposed the King James Bible and the true Christians through the church ages. They will continue to do their best to oppose truth until the end of "the dividing of time" which will stop when the Bride is caught up to Heaven. Then the 3.5 years of great Tribulation will start.
DANIEL 7:25   And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

"Change times".Pagan Roman Dictator Julius Caesar changed the calendar in 45 BC for a year to be 365.25 days.  Pope Gregory 13 fine-tuned the calendar in 1582 so that a year was 365.24 days. The Roman Catholic law is that prophecies must be worked out in terms of the new Roman or Gentile calendar, not the Bible year of 360 days. That is why church prophecies are usually wrong when they involve dates.

For example, churches claim that Jesus was born in 4 BC. Then church-goers are silly enough to say that Jesus was born 4 years before Jesus was born.

Around AD 350, Pope Julius I changed the birthday time of Jesus from an unknown date to 25 December as this was the pagan Roman sun god's birthday. He made a new law that people must celebrate the birth of Jesus. The Bible never asked us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Catholic services are called a mass. So Pope Julius made a new law and called it Christ's mass which became known as Christmas.

If you celebrate Christmas then you are obeying a Catholic law, a Catholic mass, not the Bible.

The Catholic church changed the death of Jesus from a Thursday to a Friday, because Friday is named after Freya, who was a pagan goddess. She was the goddess of fertility, and her symbol was a fish because fish have more young than any other species. That is why Roman Catholics and many Protestants ate fish on a Friday. This was all part of the Roman woman-worship that also involved praying to Mary.

By Roman Catholic law, Passover or Easter must be on a Friday every year. Passover is never on the same day of the week every year, it depends on the full moon. But today all the churches celebrate Easter on Friday, called "Good Friday" which is unscriptural. Followed by an equally unscriptural "Easter Monday" when nothing happened in Scripture.

Around AD 195, trying to gain supremacy over the other churches, Pope Victor 1 said that the Easter celebration of Calvary must not happen on the full moon as happened in the Exodus Passover, but must be held on a Friday. This became known as the unscriptural “Good Friday”.

The communion was changed from the nighttime (the Lord's supper) to the morning (the Lord's breakfast). A new Catholic law said only the priest could drink the wine. The bread was to be a round wafer, formerly used for the sun god's worship and as such, it cannot be broken. Jesus broke a loaf of bread.

A week is 7 days.

Laban said to Jacob.

GENESIS 29:27  Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.

A day represents a year in prophecy.

The Jews have 70 weeks = 70 x 7 = 490 days

=  490 Bible years

God no longer counted time for the Jews after Calvary

What would happen after 69½ weeks would be the killing of Messiah when half a week (3½ years) was still left.

God cut the Jews off at that stage.

Because of their great transgression, they would be cut off from the plan of God.

God's Spirit would come down on the Day of Pentecost to inspire the early church.

Finally, in the end, the Holy Spirit will lift up the Bride to meet the Lord in the air at His Coming.

Then, to finish their transgression of being cut off, God would turn back to the Jews in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. Especially to the 144000 Jews that He has chosen.

The countdown for Israel continues in great Tribulation

These are the aims that God will achieve with the Jews during the 3.5 years of great Tribulation, once God begins to count time for them again.

DANIEL 9:24   Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,

... to finish the transgression,

[God will turn from the Gentile church and receive unto Himself the 144000 Jews so that they are back in the fold during great Tribulation. The Jews will no longer be the branch that God cut off in AD 33. They will be grafted back into the olive tree of God’s Plan]

... and to make an end of sins,

[The Jewish demand that His blood be on us and our children. Two-thirds of the Jews will be killed in great Tribulation. The 144000 must also be killed after they accept Jesus. That ends their blood-debt]

... and to make reconciliation for iniquity,

[Smite the Shepherd at Calvary. What the Jews did was totally unjust and iniquitous. The Day of Atonement speaks of their future repentance when the 144000 meet and recognize Jesus as the Messiah that the Jews killed]

... and to bring in everlasting righteousness,

[After the battle of Armageddon, Satan will be sealed up in the bottomless pit by a chain of circumstances that does not allow him to interfere with life on earth during the 1000-year long Kingdom of peace]

... and to seal up the vision and prophecy,

[We will know all the mysteries at the end. Thanks to brother Branham, the Bride should be able to understand the Bible mysteries except where they concern the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. But Moses and Elijah will open the sixth Seal and then great Tribulation mysteries will also be known to the Jews. So, by the end of the 3.5 years of great Tribulation, all the Bible mysteries should be known]

... and to anoint the most Holy

[The new Temple in the Millennium.

It will be built within 75 days, perhaps supernaturally by Jesus. This 75 days at the end of the 1260 days of Tribulation is the start of the clean-up time when the bulk of the sinners are eliminated.

DANIEL 12:12   Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1335 - 1260 = 75 days

One-third of the Jews and the heathen nations who never heard the Gospel will be able to survive Armageddon. They will be the people who, like the Jews in the Old Testament, have to rely on animal sacrifices in the New Temple for the forgiveness of sins.

When Jesus leaves the Mercy Seat to collect His Bride, that is when mercy is over, and judgement strikes in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. So, God has to have a new system in the Millennium or 1000-year Kingdom to get the unsaved Jews and heathens to be saved.]

A day represents a year in prophecy.

The Jews have 70 weeks = 70 x 7 = 490 days =  490 Bible years

1260 days.

REVELATION 11:3   And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

REVELATION 11:2   But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

42 months = 1260 days.

Thus, 1 month = 30 days.

Thus, a Bible year = 12 x 30  =  360 days.

69 Gentile years of 365.24 days = 70 Bible years of 360 days.

Every 70 Bible years, we Gentiles have 1 year less.

So, in 490 Bible years, we have 490/70 = 7 years less in our Gentile years.

The total time left to the Jews on our calendar is 470 – 7 = 483 Gentile years.

(The last 1260 days will be the 3.5 years of great Tribulation).

1335 days

DANIEL 12:12   Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

During great Tribulation time, the Jews are reconciled back to God.

Then God does not count the next 75 days as it will be a time of vicious slaughter as God begins to clean up sin on planet earth during the battle of Armageddon by killing the sinners. A time that people will want to forget.

An important lesson: God sometimes leaves certain things out of the record in order to make a point.

If God leaves out 75 days it is because they are simply too ghastly to contemplate.

God will not be dealing with the Jews during that 75 days. He will be slaughtering the unsaved on a horrific scale. By not counting those days into the Jewish total, God is actually saying that He will not be slaughtering the Jews during those 75 days.

A good example of leaving something out was God's First Day.

The First Day in Genesis was NOT the morning and the evening. But the reverse, the evening and the morning.

GENESIS 1:5   And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Why was night left out? Because it refers to the 3.5 years of great Tribulation. A time of darkness. No light. No Bible truth.

Darkness and Night are the absence of Light, so God left them out.

The Tribulation sees Death enter after Life leaves when the Bride is caught up by the Holy Spirit to meet the Lord in the air. Death is just the absence of Life after the Holy Spirit has left earth.

REVELATION 6:8   And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

A quarter of the earth (about 2 billion) will die.

God left out the night because those people who will be left behind in great Tribulation (the spiritual night that is coming) were guilty because they left out the light of God’s revealed Word at the end. So He also leaves them out of His Word, in order to reveal a deeper truth to those of us who want to learn the truth.

Seven dominant light colours combine to produce white light. The different colours represent the seven different church ages.

The evening light, when the 7 Seals were revealed, saw the deep truths of Scripture revealed.

Knowledge of all seven church ages has to be combined to produce white light which is the full truth.

DANIEL 12:9   And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

:10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand;

but the wise shall understand.

The wise virgins alone will understand the Bible because they alone can combine the threads from all seven church ages to produce the white light of truth.

That is the evening light message.

ZECHARIAH 14:7   ... but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

Then the resurrection of all 7 church ages will happen.

That will be the only time that the full Bride (white light) will be on earth. The Bride is then caught up to Heaven for the Wedding Supper.

Thus, she escapes the night of the Tribulation that sweeps over the earth.

Then she will be back on earth to start the Millennium, after the Wedding Supper in Heaven. The morning is the start of the new day, the Millennium. A day with God is as 1000 years.

II PETER 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The night is an unpleasant memory of the awful years of great Tribulation darkness, best forgotten. Thus, God leaves out the night.

So, God does not want to refer to great Tribulation darkness when he speaks of Light.

Leaving out the night thus has a much deeper meaning. The full Bride is on earth at the evening-time resurrection.

But then the Bride does not go through the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

That is what God is actually saying when He leaves out the night.

The evening and the morning were the First Day.

What about Midday? Jesus was crucified between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Even the sun refused to shine for 3 hours from Midday as the Light of the world died.

Killing the Word of God was such a frightful sin that God never mentioned midday as part of the day. That awful scene was not part of the good light of day.

So, what is God telling us by leaving out mid-day in His description of a Day?

If we do anything to kill the influence of the King James Version of the Bible by changing it, contradicting it, or ignoring verses then God will leave us out of His Book of Life.

The King James Bible is Jesus in Word form and we have to believe that it is the infallible Voice of God.

We may not criticize the King James Bible in any way as it is the thoughts of Jesus and we dare not criticize him.

If we do not believe every verse of the King James Bible, then our unbelief simply crucifies Christ spiritually.

The sixth Seal symbolizes the Jews in great Tribulation

Now we come to the Jews in the Sixth Seal who have to go through the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

This is a terrifying time when the wrath of God is poured out on sinful mankind.

Terrifying though the 3.5 years of great Tribulation will be, the battle of Armageddon is going to be far worse.

Thus, God leaves a gap of 75 days that He does not count because nobody will want to have memories of that terrifying time. The battle of Armageddon will be such a slaughter of sinners that will start the clean-up of sin.  By killing sinners, sin will stop spreading. Then Ezekiel says there will be 7 months spent burying all the dead. Talk about a mass slaughter. Those terrifying 75 days must not be counted. This will be the most horrific slaughter in human history because those people who will be exterminated are the living dead. Alive physically, but totally dead spiritually. They were totally lost without any hope for them.

They must just be forgotten as they were an ugly stain of corruption on the face of humanity and they did their best to destroy the Truth. God is so disgusted with them that He does not even want a memory of their evil lives to remain. They are just a blank space. Only their corpses and blood will be a terrifying reminder to those who survive Armageddon about the consequences of sin.

After the 1260 days of great Tribulation are over, when both the two prophets and the 144000 have been killed and raised back to life, there are 75 days left before the people (the Jewish survivors and the surviving heathen who never heard the Gospel) are blessed at the new Millennium Temple.

That means in those 75 days, the battle of Armageddon takes place. The battle will be too ghastly to contemplate. Blood running up to the bridles of horses for 200 miles in Israel. But that will act as fertilizer to make the desert blossom like a rose during the Millennium or 1000 years of peace.

The Temple High Priest cannot have torn clothes

God dealt with the Jews by means of the Temple worship as long as the High Priest did not rend His clothes.

Clothes speak of righteousness.

PSALM 132:9   Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness;

Jesus, as our High Priest, has perfect righteousness.

LEVITICUS 21:10   And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head,

nor rend his clothes;

MATTHEW 26:65   Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

The Jewish time was ticking off year-by-year from Nehemiah's wall until the High Priest Caiaphas tore his clothes.

That ended the Aaronic priesthood.

God then responded by tearing up the Temple veil.

God was no longer dealing with the Jews so the countdown stopped.

MATTHEW 27:51   And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

But sometime in the future there will be a 3.5 year period of great Tribulation (of 1260 days) which are given to the last Pope (probably Peter II) so that he can take over and rule the world. Then God will have to make a new plan to save the 144000 Jews because Jesus will no longer be on the mercy seat.

When did the 70 weeks start?

When Nehemiah got the commandment to build the city wall of Jerusalem.

DANIEL 9:25   Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

NEHEMIAH 2:1   And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king,

NEHEMIAH 2:5   And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.

A town was only called a city when a wall was built around it.

By building the wall around the buildings of Jerusalem, Nehemiah was also turning the Jerusalem buildings into a city.

NEHEMIAH 6:15   So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.

Artaxerxes became king in 465 BC.

Artaxerxes I, (died 425 BC, Susa, Elam [now in Iran]), Achaemenid king of Persia (reigned 465–425 BC).

His 20^th year would be 446 BC.

The 70 weeks never ended because Messiah was cut off

Deduct 446 BC from the total of 483 Gentile years.

483 – 446 = 37

So, the Jews’ time should end at AD 37 and Messiah would set up the 1000 years of peace and the Jews would rule the world.

But what happened?

The Roman Emperor Augustus died in AD 14.

Tiberius became Emperor or Caesar when the Senate offered him the position.

LUKE 3:1   Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar,

14 + 15 = 29

We are now in the year AD 29 when John the Baptist had his ministry.

Sometime towards the end of that year Jesus came to be baptized as it was almost the year 30.

LUKE 3:23   And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,

So, when Jesus began His ministry there were  37 – 30 = 7 years left

He died 3½ years later in AD 33 when the Temple veil tore and God stopped dealing with the Jews.

At the death of Jesus, the Jews only had 3½ years left because God stopped dealing with them.

God does not count time for the Jews when He stopped dealing with the Jews at Calvary.

DANIEL 9:26   And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off

[He will be killed at Calvary],

... but not for himself

[He died for us]:

... and the people [the Romans] of the prince that shall come

[General Titus was a prince as he was the son of the Roman Emperor Vespasian. Thus Titus was a preview of the final prince or Pope who is coming]

... shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;

[this happened in AD 70]

... and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

[The pagan Romans cut down every tree for about 11 miles around Jerusalem, leaving the landscape desolate. At the end of their Jewish War (AD 66 -70) they left Jerusalem as a devastated mess, and the Temple was burned out and demolished.

The pagan Roman spirit would resurrect up on the ruins of the pagan Roman Empire as the Roman Catholic church.

This church would change the translation of the Bible into Latin and change many Scriptures and leave many Scriptures out.

Their denominational system of having one man as the elevated head of the church would sweep through the Protestant churches.

The spiritual war against Bible truth sees a pastor as the head of each church and over 100 different versions of the English Bible.

Each pastor has his own opinion so Christianity has split up into 45000 different denominations or different kinds of churches, each with its own unscriptural beliefs and doctrines.

Human leadership and unscriptural man-made ideas have reduced the church world to a swamp where Jesus, the Word, stands unwanted on the outside.

A few unscriptural doctrines like "Trinity", "Christmas", "Good Friday", "the leader is infallible", "a 7-year Tribulation", and "the King James Bible has mistakes", help to paper over all the different doctrinal cracks in this spiritual war against the King James Bible].

The future prince will be the final Pope because he also has to be a Roman.

God confirms the covenant in Christ

DANIEL 9:27   And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:

[This is not the antichrist making a covenant with the Jews for 7 years of Tribulation as the churches claim.

The Bible never uses the expression "the Antichrist".

Antichrist is a spirit that has been around for the last 2000 years.

This is God at Calvary confirming the covenant of salvation that God made with Abraham and his seed, singular, Who is Christ the spiritual Seed of Abraham]

GALATIANS 3:16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

:17     ... And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ,

DANIEL 9:27   … and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease

[after 3½ years Jesus died in the middle of this last week of 7 years, and all the animal sacrifices lost their value]

But the big mystery is that the death of Jesus did not break the covenant, it confirmed the covenant.

...and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,

even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

[The Temple was destroyed by the pagan Romans. The Romans built a pagan temple with its abominations on the Temple site. Then the Muslims built the Al Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock on what they thought was the Temple site. These abominations keep the spiritual desolation of the place. No true worship can happen there. These buildings will stay until the end to keep the place corrupt and desolate of truth.

The Muslim and Catholic errors will spread spiritual desolation. The Muslims are the fastest-growing religion at the moment. The Roman Catholic system of denominational organization has spread throughout the churches.

But then will come the plagues that are poured out in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation on them and the final judgement at Armageddon].

God made a covenant with Abraham and his seed in Genesis 15. This looked like Isaac and Jacob and the Jews but it was not because seed is a singular word, not plural.

God confirmed that covenant in the death of Christ, the spiritual Seed of Abraham.

So, the promises made to Abraham were confirmed in the ministry of Christ that was to last 7 years.

But Jesus was only on earth for 3½ years in His ministry. So, God OWES the Jews another 3½ years that He has to give them in the time of great Tribulation.

Christ won our Gentile salvation at Calvary but the Jews, who had to kill Him, were cut off in the process. They were blinded by the humility of Messiah.

To the Jewish leaders, Jesus lived a life of inappropriate simplicity.

They thought that Messiah should have had a much grander and wealthier lifestyle. The political hatred that the Jews had for the Romans made them blind to the Prince of Peace. So, God still owes the Jews another 3½ years because God had blinded them 2000 years ago, for our sake.

Death rides into the Tribulation

But God cannot turn to the Jews while He is dealing with the Gentiles.

When the Gentiles are caught up to Heaven by the Holy Spirit then God will turn to the Jews. The Holy Spirit is Life. When Life leaves then Death enters and rides the pale corpse-coloured horse into the Tribulation. One-quarter of our 8 billion people on earth die. That is 2 billion deaths.

REVELATION 6:8   And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth

Only one-third of the Jews will survive the 3.5 years of great Tribulation.

ZECHARIAH 13:8   And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

The ministry of Jesus did not end with His death but with His resurrection and ascension to Heaven.

So, the ministry of the two prophets to Israel does not end with their death but with their ascension to Heaven.

That is when the 1260 days end.

The only Jews who get saved and receive the Holy Ghost baptism in the Tribulation are the 144000.

That finishes the salvation for the Jews which ends when the 1260 days of great Tribulation are over.

The only way to get saved after that is to survive Armageddon and then worship Jesus in the new Temple with animal sacrifices.

By the end of the 1260 days, two-thirds of the Jews will have been killed.

ZECHARIAH 13:8   And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD,

two parts therein shall be cut off and die;

but the third shall be left therein.

The remaining third of the Jews will survive Armageddon and go forth into the Millennium or 1000 years of peace. There they will have to attend the new Temple worship and its animal sacrifices in order to be saved.

After the 1260 days is a 75-day period that includes the utter destruction of evil that is smashed in a most horrific bloodbath called Armageddon. After that Satan is sealed into the bottomless pit and bound up with a chain of circumstances that makes him helpless to interfere on earth for the next thousand years.

Then Christ anoints His new Temple, which will be the centre of worship of all nations who have survived the battle of Armageddon. That will be the anointing of the Most Holy, the Temple where Christ dwells.

Then a Millennium of utter peace.

DANIEL 9:27   … and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The pagan Romans destroyed the Temple site in AD 70 and looted the Temple treasure which they took back to Rome to build the Colosseum. The massive theatre where Christians were tortured and fed to the lions in the Lion-age, the first beast around the throne in Revelation Chapter 4.

REVELATION 4:7   And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

Church persecution started with the pagan Romans in the days of the pagan Roman emperor Nero. He then also attacked Israel in AD 66, and in AD 70 the Roman army under General Titus wrecked the city of Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple. Over one million Jews perished and 90,000 were taken as slaves to build the Colosseum with the Temple treasure that the Romans looted. The Temple site was desolate. About AD 130 saw the pagan Roman emperor Hadrian engaged in a massive building project. He covered the Temple site with earth so that it could not be found and built a pagan temple there. Jerusalem was rebuilt as a pagan city and called Aelia Capitolina. Hadrian killed 580,000 Jews during the Bar Kochba revolt that ended in AD 135. He exiled and scattered the surviving Jews.

The Roman conquerors were brutal and ruled in iron the places they gained in blood.

Pagan Rome was part of the abomination that makes desolation.

MATTHEW 24:15   When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

But we must understand that this has more than one fulfillment. The Muslims have also built an abomination in the vicinity of the Temple site.

In AD 637 the Muslims conquered Jerusalem and by AD 705 they had built the Dome of the Rock near the Temple site and the Al Aqsa mosque. Spiritually the Temple site remains desolate to this day as no true worship can happen there.

The pagan Western Roman empire was destroyed by the barbarians in AD 476. Then the spirit of pagan Rome resurrected in the form of the Roman Catholic church. During all these centuries the Temple site had remained spiritually desolate.

But there is a deeper fulfillment.

The true Bible (the King James Version) is the Holy Place where Christians hear the infallible Voice of God. But in the Place of the King James Bible, there are now over 100 different versions of the English Bible. Corrupt versions of the Bible started in the AD 300s in the days of Roman emperor Constantine. Since then churches have continuously changed, left out, and contradicted what the King James Bible says. Thus, Bible-illiteracy grows in the churches as people pursue inaccurate modern versions of the Bible and hang onto the unscriptural opinions and quotes of the church leaders. Jesus, as the Word of God, stands unwanted outside the church door.

Opposing the King James Version will continue down to the end of time by the brain-washed church-goers.

DANIEL 9:27   … and for the overspreading of abominations

he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation,

and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The Muslim buildings will remain there until the end, the consummation of evil in the 3.5 years of great Tribulation when evil comes to its climax under the final Pope who thoroughly corrupts and changes the Scriptures.

He will not be elected by the Council of Cardinals. He will usurp the position of Pope in the same way that General Galba in AD 68 usurped the position of Roman emperor from Nero who had been adopted into the family of Augustus, the first Roman emperor. Thus, Nero was legitimately emperor by virtue of being part of the emperor’s family. Galba was simply a military outsider who marched on Rome and took over by military force when Nero committed suicide.

The final Pope will not be voted in by the cardinals. Somehow he will sneak in.

DANIEL 11:21   And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Then the final Pope will rely on the military might of ten dictators to take over the world.

REVELATION 17:12   And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

“As kings”. They are not crowned kings but have a king’s political power. They are dictators.

REVELATION 17:13  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

The beast needs their military power and the strength of their armies to rule.

DANIEL 8:24    And his power shall be mighty,

but not by his own power:

As Pope, he has 1.4 billion Catholic supporters worldwide and the tremendous wealth of the Vatican City organization. The Vatican is the world's wealthiest organization. But the power to rule the world will not come from the church

but will come from the military might and the power of those ten dictators.
