God and Satan fight in order to control the human mind

A good general chooses a battlefield that suits his method and style of fighting.

God is much stronger than Satan, so where can Satan hope to beat God?

Satan's chosen battlefield is the mind of man.

The darkest continent on planet Earth is the sinful human mind,  hidden behind inscrutable human eyes.

The messy human brain is the battleground between faith in the Bible and the clever wisdom of man.

The mind of man is where our human spirit meets our brain cells. The human brain is shown below.

The brain has two sections which symbolize good and evil. God and Satan.  Choose who you believe.

Satan is convinced that he can manipulate human minds so that they will no longer believe everything that is written in the Bible. Any alternative idea will do, just as long as it is unscriptural.

For instance, Satan uses Science to convince Christians that they slowly developed from animals by evolution. But death came in because of sin. Thus sinless animals could not have died and been fossilized over millions of years before sin entered the human race.
ROMANS 5:12   Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;

This man was Adam. Before him, there was no death.

So choose what you believe.  The evolution theory of scientists, where the monkey made a man out of itself, or  Genesis, where man made a "monkey" of himself. (The word "theory" can be a clever-sounding word, but it actually just means a "guess")
I TIMOTHY 6:20   O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings,

and oppositions of science falsely so called:

When science opposes the Bible, science is wrong.

Living bodies are made of proteins.

Only an enzyme can make a protein. But an enzyme itself is made of protein. So what made the protein that made the first enzyme?  Science cannot answer.

A mosquito has two separate sensors that combine to detect the carbon dioxide that humans breathe out. Both sensors have to be present in order to function. How could two separate complex sensors evolve to completion at the same time, when a mosquito lives for less than a month? If either sensor is not complete, the system does not work. Simultaneously, a special enzyme in the mosquito saliva had to develop that it injects into the victim's blood to stop the blood clotting in the narrow needle-like proboscis that it sticks into our blood vessels. That enzyme is what makes the mosquito bite itchy. Only the female mosquito does this as it needs proteins from our blood for its eggs. Male mosquitoes live on the sap in plants and grass. Science cannot answer how mosquitoes that live for less than a month can slowly evolve, by trial and error, over huge periods of time, and yet they can only survive thanks to such highly specialized sensors and saliva.

Satan will always find mistakes in the King James Bible

Hidden away in the murky recesses of the human brain, Satan plants the dark and clever "harmless looking" seeds of unbelief in the written Word that will grow up into a crop of unscriptural ideas with their poisonous roots that are difficult to pull out.

The moment you believe that there is a mistake in the Bible, Satan is winning in your mind.

Notice how many preachers say, "The Bible is wrong when it says .......".

That sentence represents human wisdom.

That is the same story that the serpent preached to Eve. "Hath God said...?"

Follow your pastor away from Scripture and you will end up where Eve did.

That is not a good space to be in. What we need is preachers who can expound truth by agreeing with what the Bible says. That is called faith in Scripture.
II TIMOTHY 3:16   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

There is no mention here that parts of the Bible are wrong. All the Bible is true.

The brain has two halves which symbolize that we come from the tree (or spirit) of good and evil.

Everything that you believe that is different from what the Bible says, means that Satan is winning over your thoughts.

Every time that you quote Scripture or live by Scriptural standards, means that God is winning control of your thinking.

Man consists of a body that is alive because an invisible spirit of life dwells within the body.
ROMANS 8:10   And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;

but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

The most complex organism in our physical universe is the human brain. Your brain is far more complex than you can ever imagine.

When the spirit of human life operates within the brain cells it produces thoughts and ideas. Both of these processes are too complex to describe, but the ideas that we think up dominate our lives. For instance, you can decide to be honest or dishonest and those thoughts dictate your actions.

Above is a picture of a small section of the hundred thousand million brain cells in a human head. The spirit of human life somehow uses the electric, chemical, and nervous impulses in these brain cells or neurons to think, learn, imagine, and store up memories. Our thoughts can be good or evil, and thus God has provided us with an invisible conscience that somehow thinks separately to ourselves and as such acts as a policeman to keep our ideas in check. It is almost as if another person is living inside us. This just indicates the extreme complexity of the human brain.

We humans develop an extremely complex sense of self-awareness, an ethical sense of right and wrong, as well as experiencing a wide spectrum of emotions and feelings. These indicate a higher level of thinking processes that cannot be duplicated by a computer.

Our brains have life in them and are made from carbon atoms.  A computer's "brain" is made from silicon atoms. But there is no life or spirit in silicon. Silicon makes sand and rocks, and scientists cannot breathe life into a silicon chip in a computer. Man was created on the sixth day and carbon is the sixth element on the periodic table. So there is some relationship.

Atheistic scientists desperately try to deny that there is an invisible spirit of life in us. Spirit does not come from the world that we can see, it comes from a higher dimension that we cannot see. Scientists try to deny this. But scientists also require higher dimensions for their so-called cleverest invention of "String Theory". But they also cannot see these higher dimensions and have never provided any experimental proof of their so-called higher physical dimensions. So Christian and non-Christian are on the same level of the playing field. Both sides require invisible higher dimensions. Ours are spiritual, theirs are physical.

This higher dimension of spirit, to the frustration of scientists, enables humans to think at a higher level than a computer in terms of concepts like motivation, sin, and repentance. Coping with fear, pain, despair, shame, loneliness, loss, bitterness, and depression take human thoughts far beyond computers which cannot think these types of thoughts.

Or, on the wrong side, human brains can sink into a depravity of disgusting lifestyles, godless ruthlessness,  vicious barbarity, spiteful vengeance, and murderous destructiveness. Just think of Putin's brutal invasion of Ukraine in 2022 where the Russians even attacked a maternity hospital. One cannot sink much lower than that.

So the human mind is immensely powerful, and God will require from us one day how we used it.

The spirit creates senses within the body

Our body has various sensors or senses built into it. Five obvious physical sensors are the ears, eyes, nose, tongue, and hands.

We can represent the body as a circle and link it to these five sensors.

The spirit of life is within the body.

But the spirit or life within us can also be described by five corresponding spiritual senses of imagination, memory, logic or reason, conscience, and feelings or emotions.

Thus we can now begin to describe a person as follows:

The spirit of human life, that God breathed into us when we were born, keeps our bodies alive and enables us to think by using our brains.
ROMANS 8:27  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is

the mind of the Spirit, 
EPHESIANS 4:23   And be renewed in

the spirit of your mind;

So the spirit and the mind are basically the same thing. A dead brain cannot think. A human spirit needs a brain to think with.

(The supernatural Spirit of God can think by Himself. He does not need the mechanism of a physical brain.)
ROMANS 8:10   ... but the Spirit is life.

Your human spirit is the life in your body, and the mind in your brain.

This combination of human life, the body, and the thoughts of our minds is called "the flesh".

But the Bible does not speak well of the flesh. This is a list of the sins of the mind and the body.
GALATIANS 5:19   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

:20   Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

:21   Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Why does all this error proceed from human minds? We have the potential to be good, yet we easily revert to bad thoughts.

The answer is simply that we are missing something.

The human soul is empty without God

There is an empty space within our minds which craves the presence of the supernatural Spirit of God.

But this vacuum or emptiness in our human spirit will keep sucking in outside influences and ideas in order to try to fill it. Our thinking gets controlled and directed by desires such as an urge for drinking, smoking, swearing, drugs, and pornography. Tyson Fury, a gifted boxer, won the highest award in boxing by winning the world heavyweight championship in 2016. But even this great success left him feeling so empty and depressed that he quit boxing soon afterward. Nothing that the world offers can properly fill this gap.

We, humans, are seldom content, and open our minds to outside influences as we seek a purpose to our lives so as to achieve some version of fulfillment. The pursuit of women, money, and fame is like chasing a mirage as there is a nagging emptiness that somehow remains that we cannot satisfy.

The face we see in our mirror keeps getting older and that is a niggling reminder to us of our inevitable, unwelcome rendezvous with death. This is a topic we prefer to ignore. We head for a small gap in the earth called a grave.

Meanwhile, we try to ignore the fact that our human life ends with a fatal summons to that silent shore.

The emptiness within our inner souls drives us to fill our minds with noise and clutter.

Being alone drives us to depression as we lack that inner peace.

Our self-will, driven by this emptiness, cannot put us on the right path.

Many millionaires have committed suicide. A bulging bank account cannot fill the emptiness of the mind.
JEREMIAH 10:23   O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

We need help from God above, not from the Devil below.

We humans have a deeper soul that inspires and directs our human spirit.

This soul is the war room where crucial decisions are made for fighting the spiritual battle.

The spirit of life in us controls the body and the brain. But the soul directs the spirit.

I SAMUEL 25:29  Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul:

but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life

with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.

The soul is bound up inside the spirit or life of a person.
JOB 14:22  But his flesh upon him

shall have pain,

and his soul within him

shall mourn.

"Him" must be the spirit of the man.

His body upon his spirit and his soul within his spirit.

The spirit best represents the person as we can judge the person by the actions of his visible body which are controlled by the thoughts of the invisible spirit within him. We can say that a person is honest and decent, but these are spiritual attributes.

But deeper within the person's spirit is the soul which inspires and directs the spirit.
MATTHEW 16:26   For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or

what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Your soul is your most valuable possession.

Empty region around the soul attracts demonology

The human spirit surrounds the soul but has no supernatural component which leaves a gap between the soul and the human spirit. This gap is easy to fill with demons. The cravings for nicotine, alcohol, and drugs are due to the presence of demons that lust after these substances. When people sincerely try to give up these habits, there must be something else inside of them demanding that they continue with these evil habits.

New Age people invite "channels" and "guides"  into this spiritual vacuum. Astrologers and fortune-tellers do likewise. But whatever name is given to these spirits, they come from the wrong dimension, the regions of the lost.

There are also religious demons.

These make us behave in respectable church ways, but make us take no real interest in staying strictly with Scripture. They allow us to believe some Scriptures, but then drift off happily into denominational traditions that are not written in the Bible. These demons enable us to indifferently ignore any Scripture that contradicts our church traditions or customs.

It is a religious demon that makes wives dominate their husbands.
I TIMOTHY 2:12   But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man,

but to be in silence.
I PETER 3:1   Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands;

The Bible requires wives to be in subjection, but the wisdom of the world encourages wives to dominate their husbands.

One of the strongest religious demons is the one that strips the clothing off  Christian women. Churches seem powerless to stop women from displaying a low-cut cleavage, see-through dresses, putting slits in their dresses and sleeves, wearing sleeveless dresses, and miniskirts (which only happened since 1963).
I TIMOTHY 2:9   In like manner also, that women

adorn themselves in modest apparel,

with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1963   PERFECT STRENGTH BY PERFECT WEAKNESS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.

Oh, my, talk about the lid off of the kettle: demons going around, powers of the devil under the name of Christianity, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men, theological seminary doctrines, leaving the Bible alone. Hallelujah. Who's able to... Who's strong enough, who's wise enough?

Who's powerful enough to tame this legion stripping the clothes off of our women in the name of preachers, Methodist, Baptist, and even Pentecostal? Painting their faces like Jezebel,

and bobbing their hair, and

wearing pants just like men,

our preachers, not enough get up about them to tell them about it: devil-possessed... It was the legion that tore his clothes off of him. Who is this roaring devil?

Jesus only met one naked man, Legion. When the many demons were cast out of him and went into the pigs, he dressed himself without being told to.
LUKE 8:27   And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which

had devils long time, and ware no clothes,

neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

LUKE 8:35   Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus,

clothed, and in his right mind.

People who are in their right minds will dress modestly.

God's counsel in the last church age is for us to be clothed. Satan's demons happily lived in the naked pigs that got drowned.

So who lives in you and controls your ideas about dressing?
REVELATION 3:18   I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that

thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;

and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Adam and Eve were naked until they sinned. Then the first thing God did was to slay animals and cover them with blood-soaked skins. The blood covered their sin, the skins covered their nakedness.
GENESIS 3:21   Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them

God is not impressed when people display their body parts.

Fashionable dress is what people see and want to imitate.

We must never doubt the Word of God

Our eyes endlessly deceive us.

Satan controls our eyes as 80% of our contact with this world comes through eyesight. This visual information feeds our brains and guides our thinking. When Christian women are too obsessed with how others will see them look, then they go for worldly fashions.

God then wants to take control of our ears so that we can hear His Word. But hearing is only about 15 %  of our contact with the outside world. So God is at a big disadvantage if people ignore Him or do not listen.

To each of the seven church ages in the Book of Revelation God says :
REVELATION 2:7    He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

The most important advice that God can give us is to listen to His Bible.

The Devil opposes this advice and offers us church traditions and scientific opinions. If we believe anything that is different from what is written in the Bible, then our souls are dominated by doubt or unbelief.

Then our souls are filled with spiritual darkness because the darkness is simply the absence of light.
ISAIAH 8:20   To the law and to the testimony:

if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

This is what we look like if we doubt that a Scripture is true. The soul is full of doubt.

ROMANS 10:17   So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So if a person believes what is written in the Bible then that soul is full of faith and the person looks like this :

Self will controls the entrance to the soul

The soul is occupied either by faith or doubt. That is all.

So who decides whether God rules by faith or Satan rules by doubt in our souls?

The answer is that there is

only one entrance into the soul and that entrance is called "self-will".

Temptations, stresses and cares of this life result in self-will usually opening the door to doubt or unbelief.

So life becomes a roller coaster between times of success when faith runs high and times of failure or depression when doubt rules our lives.

We need a more stable mechanism than this.

The Bible has a revolutionary answer.

Your human spirit will always be a mixture of good and evil so you must get rid of it.

You must die to yourself.

If self dies, then self-will also dies.

Of your own free-will you must offer up your self-will as a sacrifice to God.

This is what repentance means. Not that you are going to try to be a better person, but rather that self must die and then be replaced by a portion of God's Holy Spirit so that He can run your life.

Then God's will, which is His Word, becomes the entrance to your soul.

Self-will and God's will cannot rule together. You have to choose, each moment of the day, which one is in charge of your life.

"Free will"  means you can enthrone God in your soul, or you can enthrone either yourself or the Devil to make your decisions.

When you accept God's will, only God's Word has any meaning in your soul to make you believe. Anything contrary to God's Word just gets dismissed as human speculation or error, even if it is an established church tradition.

Fighting unscriptural church traditions has been the main problem faced by all the Christian reformers like Huss, Luther, Knox, Calvin, Wesley, Spurgeon, Moody, and Pentecostal preachers like William Seymour of Azusa Street in Los Angeles, and  Billy Sunday to mention just a few.

Only the Holy Ghost makes you believe the KJV Bible

KJV means the King James Version of the Bible.
JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

The sign of the Holy Ghost controlling a person's life is His ability to teach that person the truth from Scripture.
II TIMOTHY 4:2   Preach the word;

be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

God wants to live in us so that He can preach through us what is written in the Bible.
REVELATION 3:18   I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and

anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

God wants a portion of His Holy Spirit to dwell within us so that He gives us a completely new attitude and outlook on life. Your mind is a spirit, so the Holy Spirit easily replaces your old corrupt mind and thus you gain a brand new holy mind that loves the Bible. ( Let us assume that when we repent and accept Jesus as our Saviour that God injects a thumb nail-sized portion of the Holy Spirit into us). This will change our thinking. As the Holy Spirit grows within us, He becomes more and more in charge and we learn to submit more and more to His guidance. He wants to think for us. That is the only way we can get in tune with His thoughts. In order to achieve this,  we have to volunteer to die to self and accept a new life from God.

When we allow the Holy Spirit within us to grow to a stage that the Spirit can take complete control over us, then we call this the Holy Ghost baptism.

II CORINTHIANS 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ,

he is a new creature:

old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
JOHN 3:3   Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

When we were born, God breathed a human spirit into our bodies.

When we are born again, God breathes a portion of the Holy Spirit into our bodies.

Now consider a point that most Christians miss.

The Holy Spirit lived in the Man Jesus Christ. Thus the Holy Spirit has human attributes as well as supernatural attributes.

So when the Holy Spirit enters a person, It not only brings that person into contact with God's supernatural power

but also brings into that person the human characteristics that God wants for that person.

You do not need to hang onto your old human life. There is a brand new human being that God brings into your body.

But for this Spirit transfusion to work effectively, your old human life must die.
I CORINTHIANS 15:31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

The early church so rejoiced in the fabulous ministry and teachings and outstanding example of the apostle Paul. But he in turn, despite being a phenomenal Christian, focused every day on dying to himself. As long as Paul's "self" remained dead, Christ could be alive in him.

But there was no reprieve in that battle, because every day Paul had to die to his old nature.

We all have the same problem. We all have to keep killing "self" on a daily basis. "Self" is a good buddy of Satan.
ZECHARIAH 4:6... saying, Not by might, nor by power,

but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

We have to learn to leave things to God's Spirit. Not our own strength or talents. His Spirit operating in us.

The seed Word grows in the watered garden of the soul

JOHN 3:5   Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
ACTS 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent,

and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ

for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

:39   For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

 
I PETER 1:23   Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Water, Spirit, and seed.   What does it all mean? We do not know how invisible spiritual things work but we can get a rough idea from the physical things that we can see. As humans we cannot tell the difference between the soul and the spirit as we cannot see either of them since they are invisible as they operate in a higher dimension.

So we appeal to the Bible for an analogy that we can understand.
JEREMIAH 31:12 ... and their soul shall be as a watered garden; ...
LUKE 8:11   Now the parable is this:

The seed is the word of God.
JOHN 7:38   He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,

out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

:39   (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive:

Life-giving water is a beautiful symbol of the Holy Spirit that grants us eternal life.

Now a pattern seems to emerge.

The soul is a garden. Planted in that garden is a seed, which is the Word of God. But no seed can germinate or grow without water.

So the first step towards being born again is when God injects the Holy Spirit into us, and this acts as water to germinate the seed of God's Word that is buried in our souls. The seed begins to grow and we find that we can start to believe in God's Word.

All seeds are solid or else split in two

The soil is our soul, and we need to keep that soil free from the weeds of unbelief.

Seeds are usually solid like a mealie (American: corn) seed, or are split in two halves like a bean or a pea.

The Jews were like the mealies as they got eternal life from the Old Testament on its own.

Christians are like beans as we get eternal life from two Testaments, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Our life is hidden in Christ Who came between the two Testaments and died for us. The four Gospels, where only Jesus knew what was happening, join the Old Testament to the New Testament church that started on the day of Pentecost in the Book of Acts.

So Jesus is like the leaf and the root that is hidden between the two sections of the Bible. But this is where the life of the bean starts growing as it turns into a plant.

Thinking involves electrical, chemical, and nervous impulses that interchange between the two halves of the brain.

Truth is found by interlinking the Old Testament Scriptures with their deeper fulfilment in the New Testament.

Truth must thus start in Genesis of the Old Testament and run through the Bible until it ends in Revelation in the New Testament.

Once the life in the bean seed begins to grow then it makes a body for itself.
I CORINTHIANS 15:38   But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

We cannot live our own lifestyle.

Once we accept the Lord, He decides what we must look like in our dress and behaviour because we are part of His Body of believers. Many Christians fail to recognize this fact.

The bean seed has two halves. This kind of seed produces a main root, with lots of side roots. Christ is the main root, we are just the side roots that are stuck onto Him.

So the Holy Spirit in a person waters and germinates the Word of God in such a way that the person can believe the Word.

Then as the knowledge of the Word grows in the person, it brings the body and behaviour of that person into submission to the Word of God.

I Thessalonians 5: 23   And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole

spirit and soul and body

be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is the order in which the process works. 

The Spirit makes us believe the Word and the Word then brings our bodies into subjection to Christ. Our changed beliefs and behaviour make us look like a new person.

Each Christian is another flower in God's garden, watered by His Spirit, growing from the seed of His Word.

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must

worship him in spirit and in truth.

The early church in the days of the apostles was the seed that God planted.

It was buried in the Dark Ages and then began to germinate in the Reformation of Martin Luther.

The missionary age blew the pollen of eternal life all over the world.

Today the church, symbolized by a plant, has to be restored back to the way it was originally in the New Testament.

Only when the final seed looks like the seed that was planted, will the harvest happen.

So the church at the end time must believe and behave just like the church of the New Testament.

Christians get eternal life from the two Testaments of the Bible. The Old Testament told us about Him in advance. The New Testament shows how He fulfilled what the Old Testament said about Him.

Christ is the Root of David, and He is the main focus of Christianity, so much so that all Christians are just side roots that grow off Him.

Thus, no one else is important in comparison with Him. The life of the side roots flows into them from the main root.

Similarly, Christ wants His Spirit to flow into our lives and control us.
REVELATION 5:4   And I wept much, because

no man was found worthy to open and to read the book,

neither to look thereon.

:5     And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

No man can unfold all the mysteries of Scripture. Only Jesus.

He is the main root that absorbs the nutrients from the soil which enables the plant to grow.

You open your mind either to God or Satan

So Jesus, through the 2 000 years of church history, has put the life and energy and knowledge into the church which has enabled the church to grow as a spiritual temple.

Jesus has slowly over the centuries restored the truths of the New Testament church which were lost in the Dark Ages.

Who do we open our mind to? It is either God or Satan.

Whatever we allow into our minds, that will control our thinking.

Make sure that your inspiration comes from the water of the Word of God, the Bible.

The only way to gain spiritual wisdom is to keep linking up Scriptures with each other until they join together to reveal the truth on a topic.

Each Scripture acts like a cog in a machine because each Scripture casts light on other Scriptures. The more cogs there are to turn, the more impressive the machinery is. The more Scriptures that you can join together, the deeper your understanding of the topic.

ISAIAH 28:10   For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Fill your mind with Scripture as the best defence against Satan is "It is written......".

Jesus Himself chose this defence when tempted by the Devil.
MATTHEW 4:3   And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

:4   But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Radioactive dating is full of mistakes

Science uses radioactive dating to claim that fossils are millions of years old. How accurate are these dating methods?

A living mollusc from the sea was dropped into an incinerator and carbon-dated as 2300 years old.

A six-month-old rock painting from Cape Town was dated in the Oxford laboratory as 1200 years old.

The Rangitoto volcano in New Zealand was dated from its lava as 146000 to almost 500000 years old using the potassium-argon method. But a sample of wood taken from below the lava was dated by the carbon-14 method as being between 115 to 335 years old. The age of the wood is less than 1 % of the age of the lava that covered it.

So, different methods of dating give totally different answers.

When Apollo 11 came back from the moon the moon rocks were given totally different dates by different laboratories. Some rocks were given dates that were older than the solar system.

You cannot determine the age of a rock using radioactive dating because no-one was present to measure the concentration of radioactive elements when the rock formed and no-one monitored the way those elements changed over its entire geological history.

And you want to reject faith in Genesis because of scientific radioactive dates? Satan smiles. He's got you fooled and he is beating God in your mind.

Here is yet another mechanism that can cause trouble for radiometric dating:

As lava rises through the crust, it will heat up the surrounding rock.

Lead has a low melting point, so it will melt early and enter the magma or lava. Uranium has a much higher melting point and stays in the rock. Thus the relative amounts to uranium and lead change as more lead enters the magma. When the magma cools to form igneous rock it has more lead than it should have and looks older. But the age of the rock is determined by the amount of uranium compared to the amount of lead. The uranium decays and turns into lead. If there is a lot of lead then it seems that the rock is old because it seems that a lot of uranium has decayed. S0, that age of the rock is obviously altered to look like an old rock.

Radioactive dating can only be applied to igneous rocks that were molten and solidified. It does not work for sedimentary rocks that are laid down in water. But those are the rocks that fossils are found in. So we cannot directly measure the age of fossils as their sedimentary rocks contain no radioactivity.

Dr. Alan Zindler tested a sample thought to be 20000 years old and found that the carbon-14 dates were 3500 years younger than his uranium-thorium method. Science books have relied heavily on carbon-14 dating even though it is subject to contamination by outside sources of carbon.

The sun's cosmic rays fluctuate in the earth's magnetic field which changes the amount of carbon-14 that they produce. This unknown and fluctuating amount of initial carbon-14 in the air makes carbon-14 dates inaccurate.

Uranium-thorium is a more accurate method but uranium is not plentiful in most soils, so it has limited use.

Scientists also intimidate people into believing that science has proved that the universe created itself in a Big Bang explosion so that God was not needed. People easily feel that they have to believe what clever scientific theories say, and thereby lose interest in the Book of Genesis. So in their minds, Satan is winning, because they no longer believe the first few chapters of the Bible. They prefer to believe in the wisdom of scientists rather than having faith in God's written Word.

The scientists have very successfully done Satan's work for him.

Nobel prize winner Steven Weinberg and Professor Alan Guth were two of the main defenders of the Big Bang theory but have now quietly abandoned the theory as it explains nothing about Dark Energy and Dark Matter that make up 96% of the universe. So Christians abandoned Genesis because of the Big Bang theory, and they have not yet woken up to the fact that the Big Bang theory has now been abandoned by the very scientists who developed the theory. We Christians are so gullible in our sad attempts to sound clever. We feel obligated to believe that when science contradicts the Bible, then science must be true. How sad. We need a dose of faith to believe the Bible in spite of what science says. Plus an ounce of backbone so that we do not compromise with science's guesses, sorry, theories.

All the clever and impressive words that were put together to produce the Big Bang theory now appear, rather pathetically, to be nothing more than a distorted dream.

This unfortunate theory, at its best, cannot now even explain how 4% of the universe was created.

And scientists still do not know what exploded. Let us call this unknown thing a "cosmic egg". They say that the Big Bang created space, so where was the "cosmic egg"  before it exploded, when there was no space for it to be in? How do they know that space was created in an explosion? No explosions that man knows about ever created space, nor created time either for that matter. We do not know what time is, so we cannot say time was created in an explosion. This is simply way-out guessing for which we have no evidence. In terms of creation from nothing, science has too many questions that it cannot answer. Please do not listen to scientists when they talk about creation from nothing. There is no scientific law to govern that process.

Einstein claimed that the main law of Physics is called the law of conservation of energy,  which says that energy cannot be created or destroyed. But scientists claim that all the energy in the universe was created in the first moments of the Big Bang. Can you spot the contradiction? If you can, then please tell Satan to pack his scientific bags that contradict the Bible, and leave your mind. Good science that deals with proven facts does not contradict the Bible.

After all, science has developed the thousands of nuclear bombs that are going to destroy the world in the great Tribulation. Science is polluting our earth and atmosphere and helping to achieve climate change with its awful consequences. So science is not going to save the world.

Thus science must not stop you believing in the Word of God as God alone can save you and me.

After believing that the first few chapters of the Bible are not really true, it is easy for Christians to not believe other portions of the Bible as well. Satan smiles. His battle plan is working well. If he knows that there are parts of the Bible that that he can't stop you believing,  all he needs to do is to get you to change and disbelieve other parts of Scripture.
