Ages of the Patriarchs

This is a nice "detective work" study. By looking at the indicated Bible verses, you can find out the ages of the patriarchs, e.g. Adam, Noah or Abraham.

We find many interesting facts by looking at the graph, for example

• Abraham was born only 2 years after Noah died, even though there are 10 generations difference.
• Shem, Noah's son, was still living when Isaac lived. Abraham and Isaac would have been able to ask him about his experiences during the flood, the ark, etc. This is because Noah waited very long before getting children.
• The year Methuselah died, was the year the flood started (the 600^th year of Noah's life.)
• Noah never saw Enoch.
• Noah's father (Lamech) could still talk to Adam.
