Revelation of the 7 Thunders contained in the 7 Seals

There is not a single quote where brother Branham said that “the Seven Thunders have uttered”.

Thunders preachers have produced over 20 different versions of the Thunders. This is the result of basing doctrine on certain carefully selected quotes that ignore other quotes.

Thunders-preachers use the following quote to claim that they know what the Seven Thunders are and what they uttered.

1965   AN EXPOSITION OF THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES  CHAPTER 9    LAODICEANS

“Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things.

One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers.

Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals. It will be these Divinely revealed 'mystery-truths' that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so.”

When we meet the apostolic Pentecostal fathers from the first church age, they will be resurrected in glorified bodies.

To be literally turned to them, we must also be changed into glorified bodies, after their resurrection. So, the Thunders will utter just after the New Testament resurrection. We must now make sure that we believe exactly what the first church age believed. We may well have to get some of our information from them in order to comprehend the seven Thunders when they utter. There will only be a 40-day period between the resurrection and the rapture as Jesus ascended to Heaven 40 days after His resurrection.

I CORINTHIANS 15:52   “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,

and we shall be changed.”

This is the major future mystery. The changing of our sinful bodies into perfect immortal bodies will require huge transformation power.

Everything you believe will be pointless as far as being in the Bride is concerned if the 7 claps of thunder do not change your body.

I THESSALONIANS 4:16   “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

:17     Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The first event is the resurrection, then the changing of our bodies so that we can be caught up.

The seven Thunders will be involved with the changing of our bodies. That can only happen after the resurrection.

Before the Thunders can happen, they must first be revealed.

AMOS 3:7   Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Two aspects of the seven Thunders have to be revealed: Their “purpose” (what they do) and their “content” (what they utter).

The Seven Seals only reveal the “purpose” of the Thunders.

The 7 Seals cannot reveal the “content” of the Thunders, as that is a total secret that announces the Coming of the Lord.

Only a fool tells the enemy in advance what he is going to do.

The Thunders will only utter during that last 40 days just before the Coming of the Lord as their function is to reveal the mystery of the Second Coming.

“I just know that those seven thunders holds that mystery, that heavens was quieted.”

The Seventh Seal is a great mystery because it is just silence. The Thunders that reveal the Seven Seals are also a huge mystery.

The seven Thunders, when they utter, will explain the silence of the Lord’s Coming.

Until the Lord comes, the information of the seven Thunders remains a mystery.

63-0728  CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED

“God's great mystery of how, it's a secret. He kept it a secret. Nobody knowed nothing about it.

Even the Angels didn't understand it. See, He didn't reveal it. That's the reason, under our seventh mystery, when the seventh seal was opened, there was silence. Jesus, when He was on earth, they wanted to know when He would come. He said, "It's not... Even the Son Himself don't know when it's going to happen." See, God has this all to Himself. It's a secret. And that's the reason there was silence in Heaven for a space of a half hour,

and seven thunders utter their voices, and John was even forbidden to write it, see, the Coming of the Lord.

That's one thing He hasn't revealed yet, of how He will come, and when He will come. It's a good thing that He doesn't. No.“

The seven Thunders will reveal HOW He will come and WHEN He will come.

But nobody knows that. Thus, the seven Thunders have not uttered.

7 Thunders give supernatural power to Jewish prophets

63-0321  THE FOURTH SEAL

“Wait till them seven thunders utter their voices to that group who really can take the Word of God and hand it there.

It'll slice and cut. And they can close the heavens; they can shut this or do that, whatever they want to. Glory.

He will be slayed by the Word that proceeds from His mouth; it's sharper than a two-edged sword. They could call for a hundred billion tons of flies if they wanted to. Amen. Whatever they say's going to happen, because it's the Word of God coming from the mouth of God. Amen.

God always... It's His Word, but He always uses man to work it. God could call for them flies down in Egypt, but He said, "Moses, that's your job. I'll just tell you what to do, and you go do it."

Elijah closed the heavens for a 3.5-year drought. Moses struck Egypt with ten plagues.

JAMES 5:17   Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

The seven Thunders will give Moses and Elijah their amazing supernatural power over Nature.

Called, chosen before the foundation of the world, and then faithful to the Word by their choosing, all stimulated with new wine and oil just riding right along, coming down to meet Him. They know the thunders will issue the thing 'course pretty soon. See?

The Thunders are still in the future.

The 7 Seals only reveal the function of the Thunders

The content of the Thunders, what they utter, remains top secret.

Brother Branham “will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals.”

What does he reveal about the Thunders in the book or tapes of “The Revelation of the Seven Seals”?

On the cover of this book he refers to himself as “the voice of the seventh angel”, not as “the Voice of God”.

Please note, it is the Revelation of the 7 Seals and not the Opening of the 7 Seals that only happens when the Bride is in Heaven.

The actual opening of the 7 Seals must first be revealed by means of visions of that future event. That way, brother Branham could go beyond the curtain of time and see visions of each Seal being opened in the future. Then he came back to tell us the outlines of that future event.

The big mistake of Message-preachers was to fool the people that the Revelation of the opening  of the 7 Seals, was the actual Opening of the 7 Seals.

 “You know when we compared the Scripture here with Matthew 24 with the six Seals, the Seventh Seal was left out; because (You see?), Christ said only God Himself knowed, not even the Angels. No wonder, it wasn't even written. You see, they hushed; nothing take place then. Angels don't know it;

nobody knows when He's coming. But There'll be seven voices of these thunders that will reveal the great revelation at that time.”

Nobody before brother Branham was able to reveal the Seven Seals. Brother Branham cannot open the 7 Seals that have not first been revealed. His minisistry was to reveal the 7 Seals so that the Lord Jesus can open them in Heaven after the Rapture.

“He's revealed all the six Seals, but it don't say nothing about the Seventh.

And the end-time Seal, when it starts, will be absolutely a total secret according to the Bible.”

Only six Seals were revealed. The Seventh Seal was never revealed. It can only be revealed by the seven Thunders.

“… We find that Christ, the Lamb took the Book in His hand, and He opened that Seventh Seal. But you see, it's a hidden mystery. No one knows it. But it's right along with what He said:

no one would know His coming; they also would not know about this seven thunder mystery. So you see, it's connected together.”

The 7 Thunders are an unknown mystery that will, sometime in the future, reveal the future top-secret Coming of the Lord.

“That much we have a understanding of it today, because the rest of it is all unfolded, but this is not unfolded. But setting in my room, and I heard this--or not heard it, rather, but seen it unfold to this seven thunders. Now, that's as far as we can go right there.”

Brother Branham never even heard the Thunders in the vision, he just saw something. So, we can only go up to the Thunders. But we cannot know what the Thunders are.

“… Jesus, when He was on earth, they wanted to know when He would come…

Even the Son Himself don’t know when it’s going to happen.” See, God has this all to Himself. It’s a secret.

And that’s the reason there was silence in Heaven for a space of a half hour, and seven thunders utter their voices, and John was even forbidden to write it, see,

the Coming of the Lord. That’s one thing He hasn’t revealed yet, of how He will come, and when He will come. It’s a good thing that He doesn’t. No.”

“Why? It is the secret that no one knows about. John was forbidding to write about it, even, even write a symbol about it.

Why? This is why there was no activity in heaven; it might give away the secret. Do you see it now? If it's so great it must be included, because it's got to happen, but when the seven thunders...”

The Coming of the Lord is the greatest mystery in the universe.

The angels know nothing about it. That includes brother Branham as the seventh angel.

If Satan ever gets that information he will do great damage.

I had the revelation that revealed... It's in a threefold manner. That, I will speak to you by God's help of a fold of it. And then you... Let's go over there first. Here's the revelation to begin what... I want to tell you what it is. What happens is that those seven thunders that he heard thunder and was forbidden to write, that's what the mystery is laying behind those seven consecutive thunders rolling out.

Now, why? Let us prove it. Why?

It is the secret that no one knows about.

… . It was so great till it's kept secret from the Angels. Now, why?

… If Satan should get a hold of it, he might do great damage.

There's one thing he don't know. Now, he can interpret anything he wants to, and impersonate any kind of a gift (I hope you're learning.), but he can't know this. It's not even written in the Word. It's a total secret. The Angels, everything shut up. If they made one move it might give something away, so they just shut up, quit harping; everything stopped.

“Seven thunders uttered straight together like they're spelling out something. Notice, at that time, John started to write, and He said, "Don't write it." Jesus never spoke of it. John couldn't write it. Angels know nothing about it.”

People who preach what they think the Thunders are have to be wrong. God would never allow any man to tell people what the Thunders are. They are top secret.

“I don't know who's going to--what's going to take place. I do not know. I just know that those seven thunders holds that mystery, that heavens was quieted.”

Brother Branham knew nothing about the Coming of the Lord but he knew that the Thunders held that mystery.

It is impossible to know the final mysteries

63-0324   THE SEVENTH SEAL

“And I seen that Light was talking to somebody above me, that Light that you see there on the picture. It whirled away from me, like that, and went over to that tent, and said, "I'll meet you there." And said,

"This will be the third pull, and you won't tell it to nobody."

And in Sabino Canyon, He said, "This is the third pull." And there's three great things that goes with it, and one unfolded today, or yesterday, the other one unfolded today, and there's one thing that I cannot interpret, because it's in an unknown language. But I was standing right there and looked right straight at it, and this is the third pull coming up. And the Holy Spirit of God... Oh, my. That's the reason all heaven was silent.

Now, I'd better stop right here. See? I just feel checked not to say no more about it. See? So just remember,

the Seventh Seal, the reason it was not opened, 

the reason It did not reveal it, no one should know about it.”

The third pull is an unknown mystery. Three things go with it. One of the three things could not be interpreted because of it being in an unknown language. One of those three things was the seven unknown Thunders.

We have absolutely no idea what the third thing is.

“Now, what this great secret is that lays beneath this Seal, I do not know. I don't know it. I couldn't make it out. I couldn't tell it, just what it, and, just what it said. But I know that it was them seven thunders uttering themselves right close together, just banging seven different times, and it unfolded into something else that I seen.

Then when I seen that, I looked for the interpretation that flew across there, and I couldn't make it out.”

He saw the Thunders uttering but the interpretation could not be understood because it was in an unknown language.

Brother Branham could not understand the interpretation of the Thunders. So, the Thunders is something that is incredibly complex. Changing our sinful bodies into glorified bodies is not some simple idea that we can easily understand. It will involve vast supernatural powers that we presently know nothing about.

Elijah symbolized the catching up to Heaven of the Bride, often called the Rapture. He needed a chariot of fire and supernatural horses, and God still had to use a whirlwind to push him up against the pull of gravity. So, going up to Heaven will involve huge supernatural powers. The Thunders will be the key to making this awesome power available.

The Thunders are top secret as they reveal the Coming of the Lord. At present, we know nothing about the Coming of the Lord, so we obviously know nothing about what the Thunders are or what they say.

63-0317  THE BREACH BETWEEN THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES AND THE SEVEN SEALS

“This seven-sealed Book is revealed at the time of the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10.”

The seven-sealed Book has not been fully revealed. Brother Branham only revealed the first six Seals. The Seventh Seal was never revealed.

“That Seventh Seal hasn't opened yet, you know; that's His coming.”

63-0317  THE BREACH BETWEEN THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES AND THE SEVEN SEALS

“Seal up those things which the seven Thunders uttered, and write them not. (Now, that's what we don't know. That's yet to be revealed; it's not in Holy Script, what them Thunders say.)”

Nothing that is written in the Bible tells us what the Thunders say.

63-0317  THE BREACH BETWEEN THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES AND THE SEVEN SEALS

“The Book is absolutely a sealed Book until the Seven Seals is broken. It is sealed up with Seven Seals.

Now, that's a different from the Seven Thunders.”

7 Thunders are very different from the 7 Seals.

There is a single Thunder in Revelation 6:1 and then another 7 Thunders in Revelation 10:3. They must be somehow linked.

This single Thunder never uttered when brother Branham was on earth. One month before he died in December 1965, he was still waiting for the Thunder.

1965-1127   I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE

Dear God, in this solemn moment, it's going to be a time like this when there really will be a clap of thunder someday, and the Son of God shall descend from the heavens with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and the trump of God, the dead in Christ shall rise.

The preview of the single Thunder happens when Jesus as the Archangel comes down to perform the resurrection of the New Testament saints. This is thus when the seven Thunders utter, just after the resurrection.

For the resurrection, Jesus comes down as the Archangel or mighty Angel so that it does not count as a Coming of the Lord.

63-0319  THE SECOND SEAL

“God, help our unbelief. Take it away from us, Lord. We want to receive rapturing grace.

We want to be able when that mysterious thunder thunders out yonder,

and the Church is taken up, we want to be ready to receive it, Lord. Grant it.

Try us, Lord, by Thy Word."

There has to be the noise of a single Thunder before the First Seal can open. That mysterious Thunder is still in the future.

Thus, the First Seal never opened. We have a revelation of its opening, which gives us an outline of the events. But the actual opening, which will reveal all the details and agendas of the people who developed the deception that arose amongst the Gentile nations after the Flood and then infiltrated the church over 2000 years, has not yet happened.

REVELATION 6:1   “And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.”

We have a revelation of 6 Seals. But the First Seal cannot open until the mysterious single Thunder utters.

We still need to receive a revelation or preview of what this single Thunder is.

REVELATION 10:1   And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

:2     And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

[The righteous dead from the seven church ages are buried either at sea or on the land. The mighty Angel comes to raise the dead.]

:3     And cried with a loud voice

[the voice of the Archangel produces the resurrection],

as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.”

[After the roar of triumph produces the resurrection, then the Thunders utter to show the living Bride how to change their bodies]

64-0119  SHALOM

“And when the great Director comes down and bears that stick down, then, "time shall be no more." When that Angel, of Revelation the 10th chapter, puts one foot on land and one on the sea, and a rainbow over His head, He swore, "time shall be no more."

When that time comes, you'll rise up from among the dead.

While the rest of them lay there, you'll go in.”

Time no longer. That means the Bride step out of time when they are in their new glorified bodies. Time ages us. When that happens, the Bride will never age or grow old.

While we are in our sinful bodies governed by time, we can never really understand what it will be like when we are outside of time and part of Eternity.

In addition, when you are in your new body you will have a new brain which is far cleverer than what you are now.
