7 Lampstands and 7 Eyes and 7 Horns

Lampstands shed light. The church first moved away from Scripture and then back towards it. This took 7 stages or ages.

The place of the branch or the branching forth

REVELATION 1:20   The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

There is a mystery attached to these candlesticks (also called Lampstands by some). So, they have a much deeper meaning.

The seven lampstands (or candlesticks) represent the seven church ages that were spread over the last 2000 years of church history.

The seven-branched candlestick in the Tabernacle built by Moses was an Old Testament preview of the seven New Testament church ages as the church was going to fall and would then be restored back to its original state. (Only God can bring life out of death. That is God’s unique Seal of His handiwork).

MATTHEW 2:23   And he [Jesus] came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

“Prophets” is plural.

This is a difficult prophecy to understand as it does not appear in the Old Testament. How can “Nazarene” affect Jesus in a way that fulfills many Old Testament prophecies? To find out what is meant, we must look at the meanings that are hidden in the words.

"Netzer" means "branch" in Hebrew.

"Netzeret" in Hebrew means "the place of the branch" or "the branching forth".

We pronounce that as "Nazareth" in the Greek language of the New Testament.

The town of Nazareth was never mentioned in the Old Testament. Thus, we do not have a Hebrew name for it. The word Nazareth is a Greek name.

Nazareth was an obscure town close to the main road that came up from Egypt. You had to take a branch or fork in the road to get to Nazareth. You had to choose to change direction and head for a small town that was next-to-nothing in terms of what it offered and rather a bad place anyway. But out of this branch or fork in the road will come the Man Who is the greatest direction-changer this world will ever see.

“He shall be called a Nazoræus (in Greek).” We translate that as Nazarene.

A Nazarene means that He is Jesus of Nazareth. The Man Who is the Branch and yet He supports the branching forth of the church during seven church ages.

The candlestick of Moses had a central column and six branches.

EXODUS 25:32   And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

The candlestick symbolized Jesus and the church in the different church ages.

JOHN 15:5   I am the vine, ye are the branches:

Jesus, as the Word, is thus the central column or Lampstand of truth which He established as the Word of God in the first church age from which six branches of the future church are supported.

Jesus is the Man causing the fork or branch in the road.

He is the Man Who forces you to choose and make a decision. You can walk on by and ignore Him and perish in your sins. Or you can change direction and take that small branch in the road until you meet your Saviour and repent of your sins.

JEREMIAH 23:5   Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

ISAIAH 11:1   And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

ZECHARIAH 3:8   Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold,

I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

“The place of the Branch” is “Netzeret” in Hebrew, “Nazareth” in Greek.

“Branch” makes us think of the candlestick in the Old Testament Tabernacle.

MATTHEW 2:23   And he [Jesus] came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

A "Nazarene" means Jesus of Nazareth. "Nazareth" links His name to “the place of the Branch”. That means that His birth, Life, death, and resurrection will cause seven new paths to branch forth as God moved to combat the changing tactics of the Devil. As such,

Jesus fulfilled the many prophecies of the future Messiah which makes Him the Saviour of the church and the main Support of the church through the past 2000 years of the seven church ages. That is why Matthew says “prophets”.

Two things make Jesus unique. First, the amazing things that He achieved in His Life on earth. Secondly, the fact that what He achieved was a fulfillment of so many of the Old Testament prophecies. No other person could ever achieve that.

The first church age was the best

Only the central candlestick can be trusted. That was the first church age that was set up by the apostles. They alone had the truth.

The apostle John only saw Jesus in the midst of the candlestick. That is the only guaranteed church age. The first church age.

Jesus had trained the apostles. He would later train great men like Saint Paul. So, the first church age was in good hands and these men ignited a fire in the early church that remains our supreme example of what a Christian church should believe.

"In the midst of the candlestick". Jesus as the Word of God is the only guaranteed truth. Jesus got the apostles to write the New Testament.

All the church had to do now was stay Scriptural, whatever the consequences.

By AD 170 the first church age was ending as they wanted humans to be the head of the church.

Christ is the Head of the church.

EPHESIANS 5:23   For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church:

But by AD 170 the Bible truth was fading

Most of the apostles were dead by AD 70. From AD 70 to AD 120 is a mysterious silent time where we have almost no letters that were actually written by church leaders.

Irenaeus was a great writer. He was born around AD 120 - AD 140. (Notice how vague we are about his birth date).

If he began writing at the age of say forty, then it would have been around AD 170. That is a good 100 years after AD 70. We thus have hardly any precise history of the church from AD 70 to AD 120. We have to rely on men who wrote about those events long after the events happened.

Somehow, mysteriously, in this silent time the churches began to elevate a man to be the head of the church.

The second church age started around AD 170 when it was common to find that a Bishop was now the head of the churches in a city. The original apostolic light was fading. The bread and wine of the Communion service was now being regarded as the actual body and blood of the Lord. You got saved by eating the bread and drinking the wine. You were no longer saved by grace through faith when you repented of your sins. Babies were sprinkled with water instead of repentant adults being baptized by being immersed under water.

Then, to show their elevation above the people, only the priests who ruled the church were allowed to drink the wine at the Communion which was now called a Mass.

The church was heavily persecuted by the pagan Roman Empire. This scattered the believers and thus kept many of them out of the powerful Roman Catholic church organization that was developing its man-made doctrines. People conformed to the church traditions, not to the Scriptures that the apostles had written as the New Testament. Belonging to the church was their safety.

This second church age of persecution ended in AD 312 when the Emperor Constantine stopped persecuting the church and began favouring Christianity. About three million Christians had been killed by the pagan Roman Empire between AD 64 and AD 312, most of them during the second church age.

The church candlestick looked like this in the second church age from AD 170 – AD 312.

The light was starting to fade but many scattered people in small groups still clung to what the apostles had taught.

There was still much good in many of the believers who stayed with the letters or epistles of the original apostles, but church leaders were replacing Scriptures with the quotes of the elevated human leaders. However, the pagan Roman persecutions had scattered many believers who then assembled together in small groups and thus escaped the pagan Romans as well as the growing power of the Roman Catholic church organization.

The third church age was tragic

In AD 312 Constantine stopped killing Christians but then demanded to be in charge of the church. Constantine moved to the East to establish the city of Constantinople. He wanted the Bishop of Rome, later to be called the Pope, to be his strong man in the West. The Christians, very grateful that they were no longer being killed, happily accepted Constantine’s demands. Thus, they readily got involved in the official Roman Catholic church which now had the protection of the Roman Emperor. As the organized church system of the Catholic church grew, it opened up new opportunities for ambitious leaders. In AD 325, at the Council of Nicaea, the church made a fatal mistake. Nicaea was close to Constantinople so that Constantine could control the Council. The church was being dragged into politics.

The church accepted the unscriptural word Trinity into their beliefs. Constantine forced them to add in the unscriptural statement, “Father and Son are of the same substance”.

That soon became, “Father and Son are of the same essence”. Whatever “essence” means.

It is a word from pagan Greek philosophy, not from Scripture. Pagan Greek philosophy then added the pagan idea of “one God in three Persons” and the church began to overindulge in unscriptural statements. By having three Persons in the Godhead they had no single name for God. The Christian God lost His name.

Consider the following statements that are not written in the Bible.

“Jesus is in the Godhead”. “Eternal Sonship”. “First Person of the Godhead”. “Second Person of the Godhead”. “Third Person of the Godhead”. “God the Son”. “God the Holy Ghost”. “Lent”. “Good Friday”. “Easter Monday”. “Christmas”. “25 December”. “Archbishop”. “Cardinal”. “Pope”. “Praying to Mary”. “Purgatory”. “Confessional”. “Easter eggs”. “Easter bunnies”. “Pontiff”. “Successor of Saint Peter”. “Indulgences that you can buy to get your sins forgiven”. “Monks and Nuns. Monasteries”. “The sign of the cross”. “Salvation by good church works”.

The church now got thoroughly involved in politics and paganism.

The church that had been persecuted then, within one century, began to persecute pagans. Once that violence became accepted, they soon began to persecute any Christians who dared to disagree with the Roman Catholic Church which had become the official church.

Believing all these ideas that are not written in Scripture means that they were just fiddling around with the Light of the world.

This is what the third church age looked like between AD 312 and AD 606.

The Light of Scripture began to be turned off by adding all the unscriptural Trinity expressions as well as losing the name of God. The Trinity God is nameless. You cannot find one name for three People.

When you fiddle with a working light, it will go out.

The fourth church age was really corrupt and evil

The Light of God’s truth would go out in the fourth church age. Four is the middle of seven. This is called the Middle Ages, also known as the Dark Ages. The third church age ended in AD 606 when the Pope of Rome declared himself to be the Universal Bishop. He claimed that you could only go to Heaven if you were in subjection to the Pope of Rome.

The fourth church age was the longest, lasting from AD 606 when one man became the head of all the churches, to 1520 when Martin Luther started the Reformation. Nine hundred years of darkness where the Bible was banned and tens of millions of people who disagreed with the Roman Catholic church, that now ruled Europe, were tortured and murdered. The Popes degenerated into a disgusting lifestyle. Pagan superstitions, Greek philosophy, and political power dominated the church. The church rose to power by demanding physical rewards like land, money, prestige, and political control over Europe.

Spiritual issues were pushed aside. Truth almost died out except for communities that were isolated in wilderness areas like the Alps.

A 20-year crusade by the Roman Catholic church wiped out the Albigenses in southern France. The Waldenses escaped by moving into harsh and isolated areas of the Alps.

This is what the fourth church age looked like. Only a flicker of the original apostolic teachings of the first church age remained.

How did this falling away from the truth happen?

If we have no desire for truth then God will send a strong delusion to mislead us.

II THESSALONIANS 2:10   And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

It is not enough to respect the truth. We have to love the truth. We have to pursue truth with a focused passion that enables us to easily admit our errors and thus be corrected. We must love truth more than any church or church leader. We must want to see what we believe is written in the Bible.

We must distrust what any person says unless he can show that what he says is written in Scripture.

II THESSALONIANS 2:11   And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

If we do not give full preeminence to the Bible then God will fool us in our vain attempts to think that we are clever. God will twist our thinking with clever human philosophy until we believe something that is unscriptural. Then we have no excuse because we have moved away from only believing in the Bible.

II THESSALONIANS 2:12   That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Then we will be damned on Judgement Day as the Word will judge us and we looked for truth outside the Word of God. We wanted to believe what was not in Scripture. We foolishly regarded being Scriptural as being too strict.

The Bible truth was destroyed during four church ages

This is what an overview of the first four church ages looks like as the original truth faded away.

After the apostles died, the first four churches were fooled by an EVIL desire to move away from the apostolic teachings of the New Testament.

By ignoring, changing, or contradicting the Scriptures the church embarked on a downward path that glorified human leaders.

The right-hand branches of the candlestick represented the decline from truth and the rise of corruption in those EVIL times. They disregarded the Bible and built up their own man-made denominational organization.

JOEL 2:25   And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Joel prophesied about four steps that would destroy most of the truth.

But the truth-destroyers were God’s great army that he sent into the church to conquer the church.

Thus, God is in control of both the truth and the errors. He will stop errors from going too far.

The church leaders wanted error and power over the people. So, God corrupted their minds to love error and thus allow error to take over.

The people wanted church leaders to tell them what to think and believe. That was much easier than trying to puzzle out the truth from Scripture for themselves. Because they did not love the Bible’s truth, God allowed their church leaders to fool them into believing errors.

The locust represents an obvious destroyer of Bible truth. Like putting one man in charge of a church as the head of the church. That was never done in the New Testament where Peter and Paul entrusted the leadership of each local church to a group of local elders.

When dealing with the elders, Peter calls himself an elder. He did not try to elevate himself as an apostle.

I PETER 5:1   The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

:2     Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

:3     Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

The cankerworm is a mystery creature. It represents a mystery spirit that sneaked into the church and made them leave their first love of the Bible truth. Church leaders got paid and preached what was popular and only told the people what they wanted to hear. But God sent this spirit. If people did not want apostolic truth, God would supply them with convincing lies. One thing humans are good at is corrupting Bible statements by claiming a verse does not mean what it says. Or ignoring a verse as an unnecessary detail.

Caterpillars grow very big and do a lot of obvious damage. This symbolized the rapid growth of the Roman Catholic church in the third church age when they got thoroughly married to politics and pagan beliefs. Their numbers swelled and a powerful religious organization grew which eventually dominated Europe. But their beliefs were far removed from Scripture which caused much spiritual damage.

The palmerworm is another mystery creature. It symbolizes a very mysterious spirit that sneaked into the church which enabled the Roman Catholic church to torture and kill tens of millions of Christians who disagreed with them. This mystery spirit enabled many Popes to live in deep sin while the church people looked up to them as God’s representative, even when the Popes banned the people from having a Bible.

AMOS 3:6   … shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

ISAIAH 54:16   … and I have created the waster to destroy.

ISAIAH 45:7    I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

JOB 2:10   … What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?

These four church ages are described in Revelation Chapter 2.

The restoration of Bible Truth

The fifth church age lasted from 1520 (just after printing had been invented) to about 1750 when the Industrial Revolution began after the steam engine was invented.

JOEL 2:25   And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

God demonstrates His power because He is the only one Who can restore Life out of death.

In the last three church ages, (church ages 5, 6, and 7) God would restore the Bible’s truth so that the church could stand on truth again.

To end the Dark Ages, God had to totally change the direction in which the church was going.

Martin Luther’s Reformation in the 5th church age was a massive revolution in human thinking. He restored the fact that we are saved by grace through faith, and not by works. There was still a lot of error in the church, but basic repentance to escape from hell had been restored.

Consider a maize seed. The seed was planted in the first church age. It died in the dirt of the Dark Ages. It then germinated into life as a cluster of leaves, symbolizing Martin Luther’s Reformation in the fifth church age. The different leaves represented the different reformers like Calvin, Knox, and Zwingli, etc.

During this fifth church age, England translated and checked for about 160 years the King James Version of the Bible. This was God’s perfect Bible that would be the foundation of the next church age, the golden missionary age that still inspires us.

The sixth church age started around 1750 with John Wesley in England restoring holiness and outreach. This led to the missionary age where steamships could take missionaries overseas and steam engines on railway lines could take them inland.

The great missionary age spread over the world, taking the King James Bible with them. Symbolized on the maize plant by tassels that developed and produced pollen that blew over the whole field.

This is what the sixth church age looked like (1750 – 1906). The light was getting brighter.

The seventh church age (1906 up to today) has to restore the spirit and the truth.

The Pentecostals restored the Holy Ghost baptism as the supernatural gifts of the Spirit. This was the first half of the last church age. They restored the Holy Spirit’s gifts but could not reveal the deep mysteries of the Bible to uncover the truth.

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

William Branham from America had to reveal the truths of the written Bible that alone can prepare the Bride for the Second Coming of Jesus.

This is what the seventh church age looks like at present. The Bride is not complete just by being in the seventh church age.

The Bible says nothing good about the seventh church age of the Laodiceans because Christ stands outside the church.

REVELATION 3:14   And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;

REVELATION 3:20   Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:

So, the seventh church age with its 45000 different kinds of churches and denominations and its more than 100 different versions of the English Bible is a real spiritual swamp. It is totally lacking in direction as each kind of church is moving in a different direction. Each church pastor moves his church in his own direction.

The final move must be back to the first church age

Only the early church of the New Testament is guaranteed. The final Bible truths, when they are revealed, will restore the Bride back to the beliefs of the first church age. Only then will the restoration be complete.

The mysteries of God (plural) were revealed by William Branham. They basically reveal an exodus out of all the modern churches that will take us back to the beliefs of the first church age. That will complete the mystery of God (singular).

The seed that is harvested in the last church age has to be the same as the seed that was planted in the first church age.

If we are to consider an overview of the last three church ages. This corresponds to Revelation Chapter 3.

EVIL was the church moving away from the New Testament church.

Turn EVIL around by writing it backwards from right to left, and you get LIVE.

The restored church could LIVE because it kept moving closer and closer to the original beliefs of the apostolic first church age.

Church ages 2, 3, and 4 took the wrong fork and walked away from the first church age that was set up by the apostles. That was EVIL. But God's Plan was to turn EVIL around and make the church LIVE by moving back to the beliefs of the apostles during church ages 5, 6, and 7.

The last church age only has one direction to move in, back to the beginning. That is the unbreakable law of Nature. The harvested seed has to be the same as the seed that was planted.

MATTHEW 17:11   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

An end-time prophet is needed to restore the hidden mysteries of Scripture. We will know that he has succeeded when the last church is restored to the beliefs of the first church age. Only then will the end-time Bride be able to understand the mysteries of Scripture.

When we understand the written Bible, then we become the wise virgins of Matthew Chapter 25.

The prophet Daniel predicted this.

DANIEL 12:10   … but the wise shall understand.

Then the seed that will be harvested is identical to the seed that was planted in the first church age.

EPHESIANS 2:7   That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Paul knew that there were ages to come.

By saying this in verse 7, he was giving us a subtle hint that there would be seven church ages.

MICAH 5:5   And this man [Jesus] shall be the peace, when the Assyrian [the enemy] shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

Satan rules the kingdoms of this world. Assyria was the major world power after Egypt fell and before Babylon rose to power. Thus, Satanic power will come into our land. From the Christian point of view, our land is the church.

Palaces are where the top leaders dwell. The enemy will take over the leadership of the church. Judas was an apostle and trained to be a church leader but was not immune to Satan’s influence. He preferred to betray Jesus and chase after money. This prophecy tells us that church leaders have their price. They will deny, ignore, change, or contradict what is written in the Scriptures in order to preserve their incomes and status.

Seven shepherds were the seven messengers that God raised up. One messenger to each church age. These were fearless men who put God first. Saint Paul was the first and most famous messenger of the first church age. The brave Martin Luther from Germany in the fifth church age opposed the incredible power of the Roman Catholic church and restored salvation by grace through faith. John Wesley in England set incredibly high standards of holiness and outreach in the sixth church age. His self-discipline and devotion to Bible truth inspired the courage of the great missionary age.

Our seventh church age that began around 1906 with the Azusa Street outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Los Angeles also needs a shepherd or messenger. The Pentecostal churches cannot find a man with both supernatural power as well as a deep insight into the revealed mysteries of God.

That is why Pentecost is split up into so many different denominations.

MATTHEW 24:27   For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The light of God’s restored Word would go from Luther in Germany to Wesley in England and then on to America as the light moved from east to west.

The man from America will be a prophet like Elijah (Hebrew name) or Elias (Greek name) and he has to restore us back to the beliefs of the first church age.

MATTHEW 17:11   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

There were eight men who wrote the New Testament. They are the principal men because we have to agree with everything that they wrote.

PROVERBS 30:5   Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

MATTHEW 4:4   But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

We cannot ignore or explain away anything that is written in the Bible. We must only seek to understand what is written.

ECCLESIASTES 11:2   Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

The eight men who wrote the New Testament often wrote in a manner that is difficult to understand. God did that to fool the Devil. We must not argue with what is written in Scripture. We must study hard to understand it. God wrote it that way for a reason. Each person who wrote a Book in the New Testament had a God-given reason for writing his portion of the Word the way that he did.

Each of the seven messengers faced totally different circumstances in their specific church age. We must not judge their mistakes as God used them in a specific way for their age. Each messenger had a different portion of the truth to deal with and he had different challenges to overcome.

Our only concern should be to get our beliefs correct in our seventh age as we strive to return to the beliefs of the first church age. That is our portion of God’s great Plan.

Seven Eyes and 7 horns and 7 Spirits

ZECHARIAH 3:8   Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
ZECHARIAH 3:9   For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:

The Branch is Jesus in the centre of the seven churches that represent seven church ages.

God is building up His spiritual Body using born-again people as living stones that He had to shape and place in their position in this great building that has taken 2000 years to build.

Each church age had an angel or messenger with supernatural wisdom who was able to keep the true Bride in each age from getting too involved in church errors. These were God’s eyes who could read and understand the portion of Scripture for their day and age.

We are the little children at the end-time that turn back to the beliefs of the first church age apostolic fathers.

ZECHARIAH 4:9  The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

A prophecy. The one who started the church must be the one who finishes it.

Saint Paul laid the foundations of the church, so we must get back to his New Testament teachings so that he can finish the church and present us to Christ.

II CORINTHIANS 11:2   For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

The first age and the last age can only be the same when the seventh church age is restored back to the beliefs of the first church age by being established on the foundation of the New Testament church.

ZECHARIAH 4:7   Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Satan has established a mountain of unbelief in his centrally organized churches that have one man as a leader or head. Christ alone is the Head of the church. The churches preferred to be led by human wisdom and traditions and have built up 45000 different kinds of churches and denominations into a huge religious mountain of man-made ideas. But all this will be flattened when the end-time Bride takes the Bible seriously and only believes what is written in Scripture. Then the revealed mysteries of Scripture will show Jesus walking through the pages of the Bible as Almighty God. The end-time Bride must be the same as the first church age in order for the Headstone or Capstone of the church pyramid to find His proper resting place above everyone. Only God’s grace can open our eyes to believe what the first church age believed.

MATTHEW 21:42   Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

The Headstone or Capstone of a pyramid has 5 corners. It cannot fit anywhere on the pyramid except on the top.

Church leaders have failed to understand the Bible mysteries because they do not believe that every Word in the King James Bible is true. Thus, they fit in ideas with their own human wisdom and have produced over 100 different versions of the English Bible. They do not put the Bible, as perfect and infallible, on top of the church pyramid.  Above every human church leader. But they forget that Jesus is the Word, so their criticisms of the Bible are actually criticisms of Jesus.

REVELATION 5:6   And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and

seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

God does not have 7 Spirits. God is a Spirit.

It is important to remember that the church is the Body of Christ.

God has spent the last two thousand years building up His spiritual Body using the living stones of His born-again people.

COLOSSIANS 1:18    And he is the head of the body, the church:

EPHESIANS 5:23   For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

God divided the 2000 years of church history into seven time periods, which we call church ages.

Each age faced different problems as Satan changed his way of attack.

God used His Spirit in seven different ways to combat the cunning of the Devil.

A horn is the power of a beast.

God gave seven men the power to influence the direction in which the church has moved over the last 2000 years.

Each church age had a messenger with enough of God's power to change the thinking of the true church in their age.

Saint Paul in the first church age endured tremendous persecution from Jews and pagan Romans as he and the other apostles established a completely new way of believing in God. From paganism to Christianity was a huge step, especially when the Christians were persecuted by the pagan Romans.

The Holy Spirit in the Dark Ages of the fourth church age gave the Christians the courage and determination to be burned alive by the Roman Catholic church without denying their faith. These horrors continued for hundreds of years but the true Christians endured.

Martin Luther in Germany in the fifth church age bravely opposed the incredibly powerful Roman Catholic church and got people to escape from it. He used the new technology of printing to spread cheap tracts that ordinary people could read. Luther restored Justification, getting saved by repentance and faith in God, not good works. The people developed a powerful thirst for God's truth after centuries of Catholic error. This led to the translation and printing of the King James Bible.

John Wesley in England during the sixth church age restored holiness and outreach. He unleashed a powerful spirit of brotherly love that inspired tens of thousands of missionaries to take salvation by grace and the King James Bible to the heathen countries. They did not want to live in comfort while their heathen brethern were dying unsaved.

William Branham in America had an incredible supernatural ministry and was helped by seven angels to reveal the deeper mysteries of God during the seventh church age. He used the newly developed tape recorder to record his sermons. The truth can now spread around the world on the internet. The revealed Bible mysteries have been an exceptionally powerful weapon to oppose the errors of the denominational organized churches.

Each messenger revealed certain Bible truths that damaged Satan's plans for that day and age. Each messenger was thus like a dangerous horn that had the power to expose Satan's errors.

Each messenger was an eye of God who could see what was going wrong in the church annd was then used by God to correct the people.

The Spirit of God manifested different attributes in each of the seven church ages to counter the different circumstances and errors that appeared in each church age.

JOHN 1:51   And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

The Son of man is Jesus revealed in His Word.

Only the supernatural angels can give us this deeper revelation as they inspire a human messenger (or angel) to turn the church around a different corner in each church age. Satan leads the church into a denominational dead end and God uses a human angel or messenger, such as Martin Luther, to make an effective change in direction.

“Heaven open” means to catch a deeper spiritual revelation of what Jesus is referring to.

The future church is the ladder of ascent to God. Making known the revelation of the Son of man in Scripture as the Word of God is revealed by each messenger to each church age.

REVELATION 3:1   And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;

The 7 spirits of God are the 7 supernatural angels sent to guide 7 men (called angels or messengers or stars) during the 7 different church ages. We only became aware of this when Paul began his powerful ministry. Then he died and ascended to Heaven.

Then another angel came down to guide Irenaeus until Irenaeus died and ascended to Heaven.

This policy was repeated with the messenger or angel to ech church age.

Eventually, in March 1963, all 7 angels came down on different days to reveal the secrets of the Seven Seals to brother Branham in March 1963. These mysteries enabled him to start understanding the deeper mysteries of Scripture which revealed Jesus as the Son of man walking through the pages of the Bible.

Church ages 2, 3, and 4 branched further and further away from the centre.

Church ages 5, 6, and 7 then branched back closer and closer to the centre.

The first three ages had to branch away from the central lampstand at first and then the last three ages had to branch back to the middle of the candlestick or lampstand.

This was the branching forth as the Life of Christ branches out into 7 Gentile church ages.

The seven-branched candlestick where each branch has a special messenger or eye or horn who could see how to bring that age to Christ.

In our 7th age we have to choose carefully so that we allow the quotes of William Branham to reveal the mysteries of Scripture in such a way that we are directed back to the original apostolic beliefs of the first church age that are written in the New Testament.

The end-time prophet of the eagle-age who told the Bride to move or branch away from the church systems in the third Exodus, back to the beliefs of the lion-age apostles.

We must not stay in the seventh church age churches.

The wrong branch or fork in the road today is to try to replace Scripture with brother Branham's quotes.
