In the forehead is the mind that believes or doubts

What you believe in your mind will save you or condemn you.

REVELATION 13:16    And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

"In their foreheads." Is this a tattoo or a microchip?
No. That reduces salvation and damnation to something physical.

It is faith or unbelief that determines our future.
JOHN 3:18   He that believeth on him is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already...

We are condemned for not believing, for unbelief.

The greatest battle ever fought is between God and Satan for the control of human minds.

God and Satan struggling to control our thoughts.

At stake is a mindset—a controlled way of thinking and acting.
Controlled by someone else.

Either you repent and hand over your free will to God as you die to yourself so that Christ's mind can control your thinking and do God's Will.
Or you become a second-hand person because you cannot think for yourself. You have to agree with the religious church system.

In the forehead is the brain where the mind operates. The brain controls the actions of the hand. The right hand is the symbol of power.

MATTHEW 26:64   … Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power,

The beast is a system of religious brainwashing that controls and manipulates our thinking in order to control our actions.

REVELATION 13:17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

“His name”.   A  name is brainwashed into people’s minds to replace the name of Jesus in their thinking.

Satan can not control the churches if they believe that Jesus Christ is Almighty God.

First, the antichrist church would develop a Trinity of three Persons. Somehow, three Persons are one God. Nobody can explain that.

Unable to find one name for three People, it was established at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325 that "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" would now be accepted as being the name of God. People were and still are fooled because that meant that God, if He is a Trinity of three People, no longer has a name.

In the brain, the human spirit interacts with the brain cells to produce the human mind.

The ongoing battle between God and Satan is to place ideas and revelations into the human mind that is subject to human free-will. Humans can believe whatever they want to believe, whatever suits them.

The human body of flesh is of no value in this intense spiritual battle.

Do not get your thinking fixed on a physical mark like a tattoo or a computer chip.

God and Satan fight to control our thoughts

The battle between God and Satan is decided in our thoughts.

The human mind is the only battleground where Satan can defeat God by getting human beings to develop unbelief in certain Bible verses.

The thief on the cross could do nothing physically in the flesh. He could only believe. So, it is your beliefs that settle your eternal destination.

JOHN 16:8    And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, ...

:9   Of sin, because they believe not on me;

People who do not believe in Jesus are condemned, even if they live clean lives.

It is believing that counts. Not physical things like a tattoo or a microchip.

The struggle is between the Spirit of Christ and the spirit of Satan for the minds of men and women is ongoing in the church.

Thus, all the people have to belong to the world church system or be at the mercy of the elements for they cannot buy or sell without the mark of the beast in the hand or head.

This mark in the head means that they will have to take the doctrine of the world church system which is trinitarianism, etc., and the mark in the hand which means to do the will of the world church.

With this great power the church systems will persecute the true bride. This image will try to keep the bride from preaching and teaching, etc.

Her ministers will be forbidden to give comfort and truth to the people who need it.

But before the antichrist (in person) takes over this complete world system of churches the true church will be taken away from this world to be with the Lord. God will catch away His bride for the great Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

… The Spirit of Christ later came back upon the true church, and the spirit of Judas came back upon the false church.

It is right there in Revelation 6:1-8,

"And I saw, and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

… See how that Judas spirit came back as a rider on a white horse. It was white. So close to the real, just as Judas was so close to Jesus.

A businessman setting here, telling me, "Right here in California, that the church has to tell the labor union what to do."

See, it's coming church and state again.

It's right on you. You see, you're right in there, and you take the mark of the beast not knowing it.

The church ends up involved in politics. They combine religion with political opinions.

Which, I will prove someday, if God will let me,

that denomination is the mark of the beast.

See, it's the wrong father, he is stirring people to an organization instead of to the Word. See, it's the wrong father. It's a Cain move.

When I go home this time, I'm preaching on the subject, The “Trail Of The Serpent”; the beast at the beginning, and the beast at the end; and trail him right through the Bible, and show how he heads up.

JOHN 16:9  Of sin, because they believe not on me;

The only actual sin is unbelief. This happens in the mind.

Physical sins like murder, stealing, lies, and so forth are merely the effects of unbelief on our bodies.

JOHN 6:63   It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:

LEVITICUS 17:11  For the life of the flesh is in the blood:

ROMANS 8:10   … but the Spirit is life

Spirit and life are the same entity. The mind and the spirit are the same entity.

ROMANS 8:27   And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is

the mind of the Spirit,

EPHESIANS 4:23   And be renewed in

the spirit of your mind;

The words “mind” and “spirit” are used interchangeably. Thus, they have the same meaning.

Mind, spirit, and life are all one-and-the-same entity.

In the forehead is the mind. Marked in the forehead means it dominates their thinking. Then the hand is marked as their thoughts control their actions.

The mark is the target where an arrow is aimed.

God's Word is like an arrow that enters our thoughts.

LAMENTATIONS 3:12   He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

:13   He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

Reins guide a horse. Our motives are the reins that guide our thinking.

God wants obedience to His Word as the main motive in our thinking.

Satan wants Trinity in our thinking then he can introduce a lot of errors to get us away from what is written in the Bible.

The name of God shall be in their foreheads

They will know the name of God in their minds.

Christians today do not know the name of God because they believe that God is a Trinity.

They cannot find one name for three people.

So they bluff themselves that the three titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is somehow a name.

REVELATION 22:3   And there shall be no more curse:

but the throne of God and of the Lamb

shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

REVELATION 22:4   And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

They see God and the Lamb. But they “shall serve Him”.  One Person.

They shall “see His face”. One Person.

"His name". God and the Lamb only have one name in their minds.

The 144000 will have a revelation that God and the Lamb are only one Person.

The 144000 see God and the Lamb as one Person.

So, the name in their foreheads is in their minds. They have a revelation that God and the Lamb are not two separate People.

Who preached to these Jews during the Tribulation?

Moses.

REVELATION 15:3   And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways,

thou King of saints.

:4   Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy:

Moses taught them that the Lamb is Lord God Almighty and King of saints.

Only the Lamb is holy.

So there cannot be a Trinity of three Persons if only the Lamb is holy.

REVELATION 14:1   And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Who is the Father of the Lamb? What is His name?

People need a revelation in their minds to answer that question.

The Father's name is not written on people’s foreheads.

The Father's name can only be in their minds if they have a revelation of the truth.

Otherwise, the name of God is just a blank. Trinity Christians avoid the question, “What is the name of God?”

Trinity Christians do not know what the name of God is.  They see God as being three Persons, and you cannot find one name for three Persons.

What is the name of the Father?  Trinitarians say Adonai, or Elohim, or Jehovah, or I Am.

Adonai means Lord. Lord is not a name; it is a title.

Adonai, even if taken as a name, is never mentioned in the New Testament.

Elohim means God. God is not the name of God.

Elohim is never mentioned in the New Testament.

People added vowels to JHVH to make it pronounceable as Jehovah. But JHVH or Jehovah is just translated as Lord.

Jehovah is never mentioned in the New Testament.

Thus the Father has no name in the New Testament.

Samuel’s parents saw God and asked His name. They were told that it was a secret.

JUDGES 13:18   And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

:21     But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.

:22     And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die,

because we have seen God.

So, you cannot find God’s name in the Old Testament.

“I Am” is not a name. It is a statement of eternal self-existence.

God, as the Father, was not revealing His name in the Old Testament.

ISAIAH 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

When God appeared on earth in human form, then He took on a human name, Jesus.

The supernatural Spirit, the everlasting Father, dwelled physically in the human Son Jesus.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily

The secret name of God, long hidden from sight, was finally revealed as the human name, Jesus.

MATTHEW 1:21   And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:

Satan’s task would then be to blur the picture of God from one Person, Jesus, into a Trinity of three Persons.

Then God's name would no longer be Jesus as that name would be replaced by the three titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The mark of the beast is thus mind-control. Often called brainwashing.

The final man of sin or Pope who will be one person will control human minds in the same way that God, Who is one Person, controls His servants' minds.

The mark of the beast opposes God’s thinking and will thus seek to remove God’s name from people’s minds. Thus, God’s name will no longer be in their foreheads.

AMOS 6:10   Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.

How is it possible to not mention the name of God?

Christians think of God as a Trinity of three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

But “God the Son” and “God the Holy Ghost” are not Scriptural terms. Trinitarians cannot explain this.

“God the Father” is only found in the New Testament, never in the Old Testament. Trinitarians cannot explain that either.

God only called Himself “God the Father” when He created the human Man Jesus as the “Son of God”.

COLOSSIANS 2:9   For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

God the Father, fully dwelled in the Man Jesus Who was completely submissive to the supernatural Spirit that lived in Him.

God is a Spirit, not a Man.

JOHN 4:24   God is a Spirit:

NUMBERS 23:19   God is not a man

Jesus, as a Man was not God. What made Jesus God was the fact that all of God dwelled within Him.

Thus, Jesus is the human name of God.

Jesus shows us what God would be like if God is a Man.

Emmanuel. God with us.

Church-goers cannot find one name for three Persons. The Trinity God has no name, just three titles.

By inventing the Trinity at the Nicene Council of AD 325, the Roman Catholic church got rid of God's name.

Since then the antichrist spirits have managed to set up a church system with a dictatorial Pope at the top.  The Protestants have followed this example of one-man human leadership of a church by putting a pastor in charge as if he is the head of the church, which was never done in the New Testament.

Church-goers fool themselves that, "Getting into Heaven now depends upon my faithfulness to my church or denomination."  This is a dismal error.

Forgetting that there are 45000 different kinds of denominations or churches. So, which one is right? Are any of them, right?

I JOHN 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The apostolic fathers were the first Christians. The “little children” are the end-time Christians of the last church age of the Laodiceans with its thousands of different church beliefs. But many antichrist spirits were unleashed right at the beginning of the first church age. So religious deception has been rampant throughout the seven church ages.

I JOHN 2:19   They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

But these wrong spirits were unable to remain Scriptural. That is how we recognize them.

They make up beliefs that are not written in Scripture. Thus, we now live in an age where there are a multitude of Scriptural errors that have been fine-tuned over the centuries to be very plausible. A mixture of truth and error. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is an accurate description of the church world.

God puts a mark on the forehead of His people

The forehead is a symbol of the mind where people think.

God interacts with individuals by getting them to change their thinking until they think Scripturally.

Satan interacts with people by getting them to think unscripturally. Satan wants us to disbelieve certain Scriptures.

REVELATION 13:17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast,

or the number of his name.

The beast or denominational church power stresses the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

These three titles cancel out the name of God in their minds, and leaves the door open to elevate some human leader's name to fill the gap.

REVELATION 13:18    Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:

for it is the number of a man;

The beast-system will elevate some man and the number 666 will be associated with that man.

EZEKIEL 9:3   And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

:4     And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem,

and set a mark upon the foreheads

of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

That Marker was none other than the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit makes no physical mark.

The mark of the Holy Spirit is a spiritual experience that binds us to the written Word of God.

The mark of the beast is church-inspired pressure to brainwash us into believing unscriptural doctrines that bind us to church rules and traditions.

EZEKIAL 9:5   And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

:6    Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

This was the destruction of the city of Jerusalem by the Roman general Titus in AD 70.

54-0515  QUESTIONS  AND  ANSWERS

"The inkhorn--Man with the inkhorn writer went through the midst of Jerusalem and set a mark in their forehead." Is that right? Spoke of it before the church was condemned by God.

And Titus besieged the walls of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, and burnt the city.

The Holy Spirit seals our way of thinking. The mark of the Spirit makes us want to be Scriptural.

The Spirit-filled Christians that had a mark on their foreheads (the forehead is a symbol of the mind) from the Holy Spirit, which was the knowledge of the truth of what was happening,  fled from Jerusalem when the enemy approached. The Jews who ignored the prophecy of Jesus were trapped in the city, and more than one million were killed.

EPHESIANS 1:13   In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed,

ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

JOHN 16:13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth

The Holy Spirit will only reveal what is Scriptural. The Seal or mark on our forehead stops us from believing anything that is not Scriptural.

The beast is the power of a centralized and organized religion.  A toxic mixture of religious deception, political power, and mind-boggling wealth. The organization has uplifted the Pope to be their supreme dictator and he claims that his power is due to him being a successor of Saint Peter.

The Vatican has risen in its spiritual or religious power until it now controls 1.4 billion Catholics.

This tiny state, called Vatican City, is a separate country dominated by Saint Peter’s church in the form of a key. (Outlined in red in the above picture). It has less than 800 citizens, mainly diplomats, who hold a Vatican passport. Only about 150 Vatican passport holders live permanently in the Vatican, and thus the Vatican is described by the prophet Daniel as the “little horn” or little power. Little in size but powerful in influence. Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. Yet the biggest assembly of world rulers was at the funeral of Pope John Paul 2 in 2005.

In addition, since becoming the world’s smallest independent state in 1929, the Vatican City has become the world’s wealthiest global organization. The original seven hills of Rome are shown on the diagram. The Lateran Basilica (big church) and Lateran Palace are on the Caelian hill, are the official headquarters of the Roman Catholic church.

The Lateran Treaty was signed by Mussolini in 1929 to grant the Vatican independence. That same year the world went bankrupt in the Great Depression.

This is the fulfillment of the following prophetic vision of Revelation Chapter 17, where a woman symbolizes a church.

REVELATION 17:3   So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

REVELATION 17:9    And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Rome is the City of Seven Hills. The Lateran church and the Vatican City rule 1.4 billion Catholics world-wide from Rome.

REVELATION 13:18    Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The beast is the system of man-made denominational religion that is ruled by a one-person head. It is the centralized church organization that is governed by the Vatican, where the Pope rules as supreme dictator and figurehead.

The mark of the beast in our foreheads is when we absorb the denominational church systems' unscriptural beliefs that follow the example of the mother Roman Catholic church.

REVELATION 17:1  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

This powerful church is called a harlot. She is also called a mother of harlots.

REVELATION 17:5  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The Protestant churches came out of the mother Catholic church. The Protestant churches followed the Catholic beliefs of Trinity, Christmas, and one-person church leadership. God is not impressed with us for doing this as He describes our church systems as harlots, women who are unfaithful to our Husband, Jesus Who is the Word of God.

Churches simply refuse only to believe the revealed Bible truths. Catholic beliefs must infiltrate the Protestants because the Catholics are the world’s best at building up a huge church system.

And the Protestants are desperate to build up a big church system as the image to the Roman Catholic beast. They love to say, "My church is bigger and better than yours".

Competitive Churchianity. How sad.

Satan must remove Jesus as the Head of the church

The number of the beast is a secret code that hides the identity of one man who is falsely claimed to stand in Christ's place.

Satan has to make sure that the church must not be ruled just from the King James Bible. Each church must be ruled by a man, or worse still, by a woman. Some women manipulate and dominate the male church leader as they do the same to their husbands. When a Pentecostal pastor dies then, usually, his wife manages to take over as pastor.

According to the Catholic church, Peter is this man who opens the door to Heaven for you.

Thus, this man Peter takes the place of Jesus. He is called the VICAR OF CHRIST.  Vicarius Christi. (In Latin).

Jesus is the Door to Heaven.

But this man Peter is claimed to have the key to the Door, so that he alone has the power to open the Door for you when you die.

This false claim enabled the Pope, who also calls himself "Vicar of Christ" which means "In place of Christ", to rise to power over the Barbarian tribes that destroyed the pagan Roman empire.

Thus, Papal Rome, the Rome of the Popes, was able to rise from the pagan Roman empire's ruins and conquer the barbarians spiritually even though the barbarians were the conquerors of the Roman empire physically. The Pope finally became the king-maker and spiritual head of the barbarian tribes who occupied the Roman empire. These tribes went on to form the nations of Europe.

But far more importantly, Rome was able to stop millions of people from getting into Heaven by getting them to take their eyes off Jesus and follow the wrong path.

The barbarian tribes now sought to serve and please the man who was the Doorkeeper, who stood in the place of Jesus in their minds. The barbarians sought to please Peter as he alone could open the Door to Heaven when you died.

And Peter would only open Heaven's Door for you, the Pope claimed, if you were submissive to Peter's successor, the Pope.

But God hates a New Testament elevated priesthood.

REVELATION 2:6   But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Nikao means to conquer.

Laity is a word that tends to mean people or the congregation.

So ambitious men began to elevate themselves as a five-fold priesthood by conquering the laity and suppressing the people.

Around AD 170 Bishops rose up to control the churches

Ambitious men had to rise above the rest to be in full control of each church.

A one-man-church leader was not God's original plan.

Paul called the elders of Ephesus together and told them to feed the church there.

ACTS 20:17   And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
ACTS 20:28   Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which

the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God,

which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Nowhere does the Bible say that a shepherd is the pastor.

A group of local elders was to rule the local church.

But once the leadership gets elevated, there is no stopping the process of elevation.

Each church had a one-man leader. Then a Bishop was in control of all the churches in a city. This unscriptural hierarchy was growing.

Ignatius, bishop of Antioch who died around AD 120 - 140, said that

"Your bishop presides in the place of God”. 

Please notice how dates are not very precise around this time.

Some writers pushed the death of Ignatius back to about AD 108 in order to pretend that bishops were being elevated by the apostles to be in charge of a city. But that never happened in the New Testament.

PHILIPPIANS 1:1   Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Bishops were just elders. There were many bishops in the city of Philippi.

From about AD 70 to AD 120 is almost a Dark Age in church history as we have virtually no actual documents written by the Christians. We rely on later people telling us about these events.

Without being noticed one man rose to rule a church

During these years of silence, very mysteriously, men began to rise to dominate the local assemblies. Nicolaitans.

Each church felt that they must have a one-man ruler or head.

That is how the false legend of Peter being in Rome spread. Peter was killed in Nero’s vicious persecution between AD 64 and AD 68. But it was many years later, after AD 120, that this wrong legend was written down about Peter being in Rome. Notice that there was a gap of at least 50 years between the event and when it was written about.

Notice the antichrist spirits appearing in a major early Christian church in Antioch. Ignatius making an unscriptural statement that elevates a man, a Bishop, to be in charge of not just the local church but also the city.

Soon there was a man in charge of all the churches in a city, like the bishop of Rome.

Around AD 600, Pope Gregory 1 broke the Catholic church up into the same provinces that the Roman Empire had. Each province was ruled by an Archbishop who controlled the bishops in his province.

Then in AD 607 Boniface III, the bishop of Rome declared himself to be the Universal Bishop of all the churches on earth.

Give a man power over some people, and he spends the rest of his life trying to gain even more power over more people.

According to a constitution of Pope John 8, published between AD 873 and AD 882, cardinal-priests were the supervisors of church discipline in Rome. These became known as Cardinals, and they were in control of all the archbishops in their territory.

The whole unscriptural hierarchy was in place.

Pope. Cardinals. Archbishop in charge of a Province. Bishop in charge of a city. Priest in charge of a church.

This is the awful church structure that Jesus spoke about in His third parable in Matthew 13.

The birds who gobbled up the seeds of God's Word in the first parable to stop the people believing were now the rulers of the church.

John the Revelator had died around AD 100. As the last of the apostles died, the wolves were moving in to take authority over the church. A human leader was taking the place of God.

Paul set up the church in Ephesus by getting a group of local elders to preach and oversee the local people. He did not put one man in charge. Certainly not one man in charge of a number of local assemblies.

ACTS 20:17   And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

ACTS 20:29   For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

:30   Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Men setting themselves up as one-person leaders in order to get people to follow them.

This was the first crucial error in the church. Human leadership by an elevated holy man. This soon became a one-man dictatorship of the church.

Elevation of people requires unscriptural titles.

The Bishop of Rome was then called the Pope.

Pope Leo, I is often recognized by many as being the first Pope, around AD 450.

There is no historical record for a man being the Pope of Rome before about the year AD 400.

So, calling Peter the first Pope is a direct lie.

Peter had been killed under emperor Nero who died in AD 68.

Peter was married. Popes cannot marry.

Peter was his surname.

He was Simon Peter. Popes are known by their first name. Like Pope Francis.

MARK 3:16   And Simon he surnamed Peter;

MATTHEW 16:16   And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Pope Gelasius I, ruled from AD 492 to 496. He began to be called Vicarius Christi or Vicar of Christ.

This meant that he stood “in the place of Christ”.

This is still the second official title of the Pope.

Jesus warned that we would be deceived

When Jesus was asked about the future events, He first said that our biggest problem would be deception.

The most subtle deception would come from the church leaders. The first example was Judas, an apostle.

MATTHEW 24:4   And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

:5   For many shall come in my name, saying,

I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Thus, for over 1500 years, since just before the year AD 500, the Pope has claimed to be “in the place of Christ”.

A lot of people can be deceived in that length of time.

In 1871 the Ladies of the Royal Court of Belgium made a Triple Crown for Pope Pius IX who had declared that the Pope is Infallible in 1870.

On the triple crown was written: CHRISTI VICARIO – IN TERRA -  REGVM

This means “He rules on earth in the place of Christ”.

It is the only triple crown with writing on it.

But these Latin numbers do not add up to 666.

In 1870 Pope Pius 9 declared himself to be infallible. Only God is infallible.

Some Message-believers think William Branham was infallible. Thus, they make a Pope out of him. Not a good idea.

REVELATION 13:18   Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast:

for it is the number of a man;

and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The number of the beast is the number of one man. Not a succession of men who are Popes.

So, who is this mystery man from whom the Popes derive their spiritual authority?

Around AD 754 an amazing change of policy was made by the Pope.

The next map, in red, shows the area around Rome that the Pope ruled and taxed for his income.

When the Barbarians took over the western Roman empire, then the emperor of the eastern Roman empire at Constantinople was responsible for the protection of the Pope in Rome.

But the barbarian Lombards had moved into northern Italy and then they began to move south and threaten Rome. The green area shows how the Lombards took over most of Italy.

Realizing that the eastern emperor in Constantinople could no longer protect him, Pope Stephen II made a staggering move.

In AD 754 he decided to travel to Paris to speak to Pepin who was Mayor of the barbarian tribe called the Franks.

Pope Stephen chose the Franks because they were the strongest barbarian tribe.

The Pope said that if Pepin marched south and defeated the Lombards, then the Pope would crown Pepin as king of the Franks. After that, only Pepin’s children could be king after him as the Pope would create a new royal bloodline.

Thus, the Pope became the king-maker and spiritual head of the Barbarians.

The Pope falsely claimed that he had God's authority to crown and make kings.

In addition, Pope Stephen said that Pepin must give the Pope the extra red portion of Italy, around Ravenna, as a donation. The Pope already ruled the brown portion of land around Rome in the name of St Peter. The brown and red portions combined to enlarge the Patrimony of St Peter which was called the Papal States. The Pope now ruled a little kingdom as if he was a king.

The Pope falsely claims his authority from Peter

Where could Pope Stephen get such authority from?

The Pope developed a doctrine about Saint Peter

Jesus said to Peter:

MATTHEW 16:18   And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

:19     And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:

and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

How did Peter open the door to Heaven?

ACTS 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We get saved from hell when we repent.

But the Roman Catholic church moved away from repentance and salvation by faith and made salvation depend upon good works that benefitted the Pope.

So the Pope claimed that only Peter could open the door to Heaven for Pepin if Pepin gave land and protection to the Pope.

The Pope then claimed, falsely, that Peter had been the first Pope in Rome and that his authority to open Heaven’s door had been passed on to the succession of Popes who followed after Peter.

There was absolutely no evidence for this claim. As a barbarian, Pepin was totally ignorant about the early church and thus fell for this deception.

In other words, if Pepin did what the Pope asked him to do, then Pepin would be doing Peter a favour, as Peter was the first Pope. Thus, when Pepin died, then Peter would open Heaven’s door for him.

This was total blasphemy as it made salvation an issue of good works.

More especially, works that suited the Pope as he would benefit from the land grab, which was called Pepin’s Donation. In addition, the Franks would protect the Pope. Thereby Pepin thought that he had bought his way into Heaven.

More importantly, the Pope claimed that “Peter stood in place of Jesus” since it was Peter who decided who would get into Heaven.

In other words, entry into Heaven depended on being subject to the beliefs of the Pope, as they were Peter's successors.

From Peter descended a long line of Popes.

REVELATION 17:8   ...when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

The succession of Popes.  The beast was. They claim that the Popes go right back to Peter. (Not true. Peter was never called a Pope in the Bible).

"and is not". The Pope dies.

"And yet is". A new Pope is elected.

They claimed that only the Pope could guide people to Heaven.

To prove his point, Pope Stephen produced a forged document called the Donation of Constantine, which claimed that Constantine had given the Pope all the land in western Europe, including Italy.

The Donation of Constantine is a forged Roman imperial decree by which the 4th-century emperor Constantine the Great supposedly transferred authority over Rome and the western part of the Roman Empire to the Pope. (Wikipedia)

This forgery was taken by Pope Stephen to Pepin, leader of the Franks.

This forgery was used by the Pope (and other Popes) to claim territory that did not belong to the Roman Catholic church.

This is basically theft.

More importantly, this was used to claim the spiritual authority of the Pope over all the churches.

Pope Stephen in AD 754 claims that 666 applies to Peter

The mark of the beast is linked to the name and number of a man.

Pope Leo IX, in 1054, quoted from the false Donation of Constantine in order to claim that the Pope is the supreme head over all the churches, including the Greek church of Constantinople.

The whole authority for the Pope’s claim is the fraudulent statement that

Peter is Vicarius Filii Dei.

(In place of the Son of God).

No Pope ever claimed this title. But the Popes falsely claimed it on behalf of Peter.

Thus, the only man who was claimed to be Vicarius Filii Dei was Peter.

But Peter is not to be blamed as he never made this false claim.

In Latin, a  “U” and a  “V”  have the same meaning and are interchangeable.

We still see this idea in English.  V V is written as W.  Pronounced  “double U”.

Now comes a subtle point.

To turn this name into a number, we have to write it in capital letters.

V  and  U  are the same in Latin because it is easier to carve a straight line for V than a curved line for U.

For example, The Chicago Public Library.

What was written about Peter in the false Donation of Constantine?

The donation reads in part as follows in Latin: (capitals added for emphasis) –

... ut sicut B. Petrus in terris VICARIUS FILII DEI esse videtur constitutus,

In English that is-

... as also the Blessed Peter is seen to have been constituted

IN THE PLACE OF THE SON OF GOD on the earth,

This claims that Peter stands

in the place of Jesus on earth.

The Popes are the successors or representatives of the chief apostle Peter.

Constantine is supposed to be giving the Pope greater power than what Constantine has.

This is a fraudulent claim that the Pope is supposed to be the supreme authority because he represents Peter.

Let us look at the number of the beast.

There are two steps to get the number from a Latin word.

First, write the words in capital letters.

Secondly, pull out the letters I, V, X, L, C, and D since they are the only letters that have a number.

In Latin, V takes the place of U.

So   VICARIVS  FILII  DEI becomes

V =         5 + 5     (as it appears twice)              = 10

I  =          1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1                              = 6

C =          100                                                         = 100

L =          50                                                           = 50

D =         500                                                         = 500

Total  =  500 + 100 + 50 + 10 + 6 = 666

The ultimate evil.

Look at the medal that Pope Leo produced in 1825.

The woman is the Roman Catholic church. She rules the world.

Once again, the Popes are claiming supreme power on earth.

And they claim that all their authority comes from Peter.

But Peter never made those claims.

How did Peter open the Door to Heaven?

ACTS 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

ACTS 2:39   For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
