Why does God refer to himself in the plural in Genesis 1:26 and 3:22?

In Genesis God calls Himself "Elohim" which is a uni-plural word. It can be one or more than one Persons.
GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

GENESIS 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:

Let us make man in our image.

That is just the “royal we” used by kings, popes, bishops, etc.

EZRA 4:11 This is the copy of the letter that they sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes the king;

They sent the letter to “him” the king. Not to the king and his councillors.

Look at his reply.

EZRA 4:18 The letter which ye sent unto us hath been plainly read before me.

“Us” is plainly the use of the "royal we".

Look at your problem if you see three in Heaven Who create Adam and Eve on earth.

Adam and Eve, a man and a woman, are not the image of three Men in Heaven.

All the following statements are unscriptural:

Trinity

God the Son

God the Holy Spirit

One God in three Persons.

Three Persons in the Godhead.

Jesus is in the Godhead.

First Person of the Godhead.

Second Person of the Godhead.

Third Person of the Godhead.

Father and Son are co-equal.

Father and Son are of the same essence.

Even more tricky. "God the Son" is never mentioned in the Bible.

"God the Father" is never mentioned in the Old Testament, only in the New Testament.

To explain "us" in Genesis, Trinitarians quickly say that "God the Father", "God the Son", and "God the Holy Ghost" were all present. But none of these three expressions ever appears in the Old Testament. So their explanation is wrong.

Trinitarians cannot explain why "God the Father" is not mentioned in the Old Testament.

So the Trinity Godhead is built upon unscriptural statements.

This is real mutilation of Scripture thanks to Greek philosophy.

One-in-three and of-the-same-essence are expressions from Greek philosophy, not from the Bible.

Then comes a huge problem:

The Trinity God has no name.

The Father is JHWH or JHVH or YHWH (depending on who you listen to).

But that “name” is unpronounceable. So it is always translated as LORD. "LORD" is not a name.

God’s name was secret in the Old Testament.

“I AM” is not a name. It is a statement of self-existence.

Samson’s parents saw God as the Angel of the Lord. God in an angelic Body.

JUDGES 13:18 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

JUDGES 13:22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

God's name was never revealed in the Old Testament.

All the "names" of God like Elohim and Adonai were titles that meant God, Lord, Self-Existing One, etc.

The Holy Spirit is never given a name in Scripture.

So Jesus, as the “Son of God” is the human name of God.

This is the only name that we can apply to God.

Never say “God the Son” if you respect Scripture.

"God the Son" and "God the Holy Ghost" are never used in Scripture.

Try finding one name for this Trinity. Impossible.

So the churches keep talking about, ‘In the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” but cannot tell us what that name is.

So the church, fooled into accepting the Trinity at the Council of Nicea in AD 325, has lost the name of God.

The Egyptians never tried to find one name for their Trinity.

They had enough brains to know that three separate Persons cannot have one name.

Any guesses where the Trinity idea came from? Egypt played a big role.

To compensate for the fact that they had lost the name of God, the Roman Catholic Church copied the IHS of the Egyptian trinity as the first three letters of the Latin expression "Iesus Hominum Salvatore", which mean Jesus Saviour of the people.

Nowhere did the Bible ever ask us to copy a pagan symbol and pretend to give it a Christian meaning.

That doesn’t explain why the word "Elohim" is grammatically plural though.

GENESIS 1:1 In the beginning God created.

In Hebrew, it is "Elohim bara". "God created".

“Elohim” is a uni-plural word just like “sheep” is a uni-plural word.

So Elohim can refer to one or more than one Persons.

You can have one sheep or many sheep.

So you have to look at the verb.

"Bara” is a singular verb, just like “runs”.

So “the sheep runs” means one sheep, even though “sheep” could refer to many sheep.

"Bara” being a singular verb makes “Elohim” a single Person.

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image,

If you follow the logic of Trinity as three Persons then,

“Let us make man in our own image” is not the Royal WE that kings, popes, cardinals, and even bishops use.

You then have the impossible situation where three Men in Heaven create two people on earth.

One of whom is a woman.

That is not an image of Heaven. There is no explanation for this discrepancy.

The unscriptural "God the Holy Spirit" also has no name, even if we alter JHVH or YHWH by artificially adding in vowels to make an artificial unscriptural name Jehovah or Yahweh.

This mental manipulation still only gives us two names for three Persons.

But more importantly, it does not give us ONE name for the Christian God.

Today's Christians are thus fooled (foolish virgins. Clean, saved people who are fooled by Greek philosophy into unscriptural beliefs) into serving a nameless God.

Amos prophesied of a time when we would not be allowed to mention the name of God.

AMOS 6:10 ... Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.

Surprisingly for us, it is the church that forbids us to mention that Jesus is the name of the Lord God Almighty.

A Bride takes on the name of her husband.

We can only take on the name of Jesus in water baptism.

That is why the churches forbid this water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. That stops the foolish virgins taking on the name of Jesus. Thus they never qualify as the Bride.

The Jews followed Moses (a name) through the waters of the Red Sea. They came out alive.

The Egyptians followed Pharaoh (a title) into the water and died.

People baptized in the nameless "Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" will follow those titles into the Tribulation and die.

Muslims have the same problem. "Allah" in Arabic means God. But "God" cannot be the name of God. Thus "Allah" is not the name of God, "Allah" just tells us that He is God. So the Muslims also do not know the name of God.

But “us” being the "Royal We" used by the King of the universe, together with the singular verb “bara” does explain the choice of the singular form of the uni-plural (singular or plural possibility) of Elohim.

The "Royal We" is a plural of Majesty.

The king has so much power and majesty that no single word can adequately describe all of his royal attributes.

Thus each description of the king is correct but is also incomplete.

There is far more to the king than any one word can describe.

This is especially true of God.

God is Almighty. God is Saviour. God is a Protector. God is Counsellor. God is our Healer. And so forth.

Each statement is correct, but no one statement gives the full picture.

So, many statements have to gather together (a plurality of statements) if we are to attempt to describe God, Who is one Person.

EZRA 4:18 The letter which ye sent unto us hath been plainly read before me.

So a Persian king said “us” when referring to himself, as well as saying "me".

It is a plural of majesty. No one word can fully describe a king’s power and glory.

God said we must seek and few would find.

If we do not ardently pursue truth by linking up different Bible verses then we will not find the truth. A casual interest is not enough.

Obvious answers produce mental laziness. Difficulty inspires us to try harder.

Are we prepared to think hard and dig deep?

MATTHEW 7:14 Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

The Bible is written in a way that human wisdom cannot understand it.

God cannot hide the truth from the majority if He makes obvious statements all the time.

MARK Chapter 4 reveals a deep and scary truth.

Unto the disciples, He explains the truth of the parable of the sower because they asked Him to do that in verse 10.

But verses 11 - 12 say,

MARK 4:11-12 ... but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables;

that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand: lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them”.

Jesus is telling us quite bluntly that if we do not love Scripture and prefer denominational man-made opinions that are not in the Scripture, then he does not want us.

Trinity is built upon unscriptural statements, but if you want a direct statement then look at:

COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in Him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

All of God's Spirit dwells physically inside the Man Jesus.

That makes Jesus the Son of God. Not, God the Son because God is a Spirit, not a Man. God cannot be flesh.

ISAIAH 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no Saviour.

So be careful how you interpret Jesus sitting or standing beside God in Heaven as if He is a separate Person.

Because then you have the Saviour Who is standing beside God.

And Isaiah says you cannot have a Saviour beside God. No Saviour stands next to God.

All the Scriptures have to fit together. But it requires us having to think hard.

There is no easy path to truth.

PHILIPPIANS 2:12 … work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

We are not saved from hell by our works.

Paul is speaking about us being saved from the Great Tribulation where the saved foolish virgins will suffer an awful death.

Unbelief and wrong interpretations of Scripture are spreading so widely that soon there will be nobody left who wants to be Scriptural.
MATTHEW 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Error will be so subtle that soon it will fool all of us. Unless God cuts the time short.

The Ephesian Church Age

I said that the True Church would always try to be like it was in the Book of Acts. That is exactly right. But we have discovered that the Word also teaches an invasion of error until there is a complete blackout of truth in the last day when the Lord is about to appear.

Nowhere in the Bible are three Persons seen on a throne.

At times it looks like we see two People, Father and Son.

But never "God the Father" in the Old Testament. Never "God the Son" anywhere in the Bible.

The first manifestation of God was as a Spirit when He was above the Jews. In the Old Testament He referred to Himself as the "Father",

but not "God the Father".

I TIMOTHY 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,

The next manifestation of God was when He hid Himself in the Man Jesus Christ.

This was Emmanuel, God with us.

For the first time God dwelled in a Man Who allowed God to fully express His attributes because this Man, Jesus, was fully obedient to the indwelling Spirit of God.

So the Man, Jesus, became the Son of God because God was dwelling in Him.

(You become a child of God only if you allow a portion of God's Spirit to live in your heart).

Now, finally, God had a Man that He could fully live in, Who never made mistakes, and Who fulfilled all the prophecies. For the first time, God was able to call Himself "God the Father".

The human characteristics of Jesus grew in His human Body.

Thus the Holy Spirit Of God was now a combination of both the supernatural Spirit and the natural human spirit.

The Holy Ghost is now the manifestation of God's Spirit in the church.

So Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the manifestations of God above, with, and in His people.

One God, one Spirit, Who revealed Himself in three different ways during three different times.

Only as a Man did God take on a human name, Jesus, that we can apply to Him.

Trying to explain what happens in Heaven is not the way to prove a doctrine, because Heaven is far above our ability to understand.

JEREMIAH 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

God is infinite. His Spirit cannot be limited in any way.

We cannot understand infinity.

ISAIAH 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:

We picture God on a throne in Heaven. That is a very limited picture.

Heaven is God's throne. Earth is His footstool.

It is easy for God to sit on His throne with His feet on His footstool at the same time. But we cannot understand that concept.

God is a Spirit. We cannot understand spirits because we cannot see them and they are above our 3-dimensional world that we can see. They occupy the fourth dimension which includes time. Thus they are far above what we can understand because we do not understand what time is.

We cannot even measure time. We measure the movement of a pointer across a watch face, we do not measure time itself.

ISAIAH 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God is in a higher dimension that we cannot understand.

If you think that you can understand God in Heaven, then you are fooling yourself. Whatever picture you form is a very limited view of reality.

I CORINTHIANS 2:9 ... as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

We cannot even imagine what Heaven is like.

So do not get too involved with trying to understand how the spirit-world of Heaven works.

Heaven is a much higher dimension than the fourth-dimension of time and spirits. So we know even less about Heaven than what we know about time. And we have no clue what time is.

We do not even have the vocabulary to explain Heaven.

II CORINTHIANS 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Unspeakable words.

We do not have the necessary words or the vocabulary to describe Heaven.

Not lawful.

Heaven is outside of time, in eternity.

Heaven is so far above us that whatever we say about Heaven is completely inadequate and would only cause confusion,

as we cannot understand anything that is out of time.

So God does not even want us to try to describe Heaven. We would do more harm than good.

So just accept what Scripture says about Heaven and do not think that in this body that you would understand Heaven. You cannot.

JOHN 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

There is so much about this physical world that we cannot understand.

Scientists do not know how the gravitational force operates.

96% of the universe is Dark Energy or Dark Matter.

"Dark" simply means that they have no clue what it is or how it operates.

So, we operate in extreme ignorance about what our physical reality actually is. The physical universe is what we can see. Only 4% of the physical universe is visible. And most of that is empty space.

And of the stars that we can see, we have no idea of how the gravitational force holds them together.

So our knowledge of the invisible spiritual world of Heaven must be less than 4% because we cannot see any of it.

JOHN 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Jesus said He was in Heaven while He was speaking to Nicodemus on earth.

That shows how little we understand of the workings of the Spirit.

You cannot limit the Spirit of God. He is Infinite. And our finite human brains cannot understand infinity.

Consider one case that seems to imply that there are two Persons in Heaven.

(But two Persons does not prove the Trinity. Trinitarians cannot explain the absence of the third Person, the Holy Spirit, from this scene).

DANIEL 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Let us assume the Trinity viewpoint.

Jesus, as "God the Son", comes to "God the Father" Who is the Judge.

A few problems occur.

There is no mention of "God the Father" in the Old Testament. So the Ancient of Days cannot be God the Father.

"God the Father" is God.

But nobody has ever seen God.

JOHN 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

How can the Son of God (the Bible never says "God the Son") declare the invisible God?

JOHN 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

How can we see the Father when we see Jesus?

JOHN 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father,

Jesus is fully in the Will of God the Father.

and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

The Father is the Holy Spirit of God that dwells physically in the Man Jesus.

COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The wind is invisible. So how do we see wind?

By the effects it has on the visible leaves of trees.

The Spirit of God is invisible. So how could the disciples see the invisible "God the Father"?

By the behaviour and speech of the Son of God that they could see.

The behaviour of your body and your speech manifests the invisible spirit or life that is within you.

That is how the Son of God, the visible Man Jesus, lived a life that declared that the fullness of God's Holy Spirit was in Him.

And that is why Jesus always remained Scriptural. Even if He had to stand alone.

So what is Daniel trying to tell us?

Personification.

Each attribute of a person is presented as if that attribute is a separate person.

The two main attributes of God is that He is both the Creator and the Redeemer of mankind.

So Daniel presents the Creator and the Redeemer as if they are two separate persons working together for the benefit of mankind.

But this indicates that God has got two impossibly opposite things to do.

He creates by giving life and redeems by dying for our sins. How can one Person do both?

It would be totally impossible for any other person to do these two things.

So Daniel paints a picture as if there were two separate People.

That is easier to describe than explaining how one Person can do two such totally opposite ministries.

ISAIAH 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee,

Isaiah just told the truth straight. God created and redeemed.

Yes, it is one Person.

ISAIAH 44:8 Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

Trinity takes a knock. You cannot see "God the Son" standing beside "God the Father".

ISAIAH 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

This is deep. You will never see the Saviour, Jesus, standing or sitting beside God.

Let us look at the Trinity version of this vision.

The Ancient of Days is the Judge and He is "God the Father" because He is older.

But this interpretation is flawed.

JOHN 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

"God the Father" will never judge anyone.

Only the Son of God, Jesus, can be the Judge.

How does Jesus judge?

Purely by the written Word of God.

JOHN 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Jesus is the Word of God. The Bible tells us His thoughts. You cannot separate a person from their thoughts.

Your thoughts tell us who you actually are.

The thoughts expressed in the Bible are the same thoughts that we will be judged by.

So the Word of God, which reveals the way that Jesus thinks, will be the Judge.

This creates a new problem. How can we prove that Jesus is the Ancient of days.

DANIEL 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

"Hair like wool".

This speaks of a judge's wig which is made from white wool.

Long hair is a sign of submission.

A wife with uncut hair is under submission to her husband.

When a judge puts on his woollen wig he is stating that he is under submission to the law of the land. He will only judge according to the law that has been written for everyone to read.

There cannot be any hidden agenda in his judgement.

Thus the judge must know the law well.

REVELATION 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool,

Grey hair speaks of age. But God does not age. He lives outside of time in eternity.

White hair speaks of the wisdom that comes from being around for a long time.

Jesus, as the Word of God, has been around since the beginning.

He was the Spirit Body that God dwelled in so that God could be seen by the angels in Heaven.

This Spirit Body could look like a Cloud, or a Pillar of Fire, or a Man.

White hair does not signify getting older. God is eternal so He cannot age.

JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

JOHN 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

The Son of God is the human Man that God wants to dwell in.

Jesus is the Ancient of Days because He was there right from the beginning.

JOB 12:12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

Writing of Jesus as the Ancient of Days, Daniel is telling us that Jesus is the perfect Judge. He has been around a long, long time which makes Him incredibly wise. A judge needs wisdom when making a decision.

As time goes by a person gains more understanding about life and people.

Jesus has been around longer than anyone else. So when it comes to human beings, He has more understanding than any other person.

He knows every circumstance, difficulty, and temptation that every person has ever faced.

He also knows every thought and motive that every person had.

Deep down He knows why we behaved and believed the way we did.

Jesus is the Word of God. As a result, He knows the Word, whereby we will be judged, far better than anyone else.

He also knows all the demands of the Word of God.

As a Judge, He will never move away from any of the requirements of the Word of God.

As the Ancient of Days, Jesus knows what the Kingdom is that God wants to set up on earth.

He also knows what God's Will in Heaven is.

MATTHEW 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Now, as the Advocate or Son of Man, Jesus has the very difficult task of getting church-goers on earth to obey God's Heavenly Will.

I JOHN 2:1 And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

An advocate does everything in his power to defend his client.

In the court of law, everything is strictly governed by the laws of the land.

Jesus does everything He can to convince church-goers of the need to be strictly Scriptural. Because we will be judged by the written Word of God.

But the churches prefer to build up their own earthly empires that are fueled by money, popularity, and fame.

The only one of the 7 churches in the Book of Revelation to speak, is the church of the Laodiceans.

And all the Laodiceans do is brag about themselves. They are so self-centred and obsessed with money.

REVELATION 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;

The first word spoken by the church is, "I".

Selfish, greedy, and self-seeking.

"Have need of nothing". Christians today feel that they have no need of correction. No need to stay strictly with the King James Version of the Bible. No need to worry about how they dress or paint their faces.

Each church is totally convinced that they are right.

Each church is a closed group that does not need anyone from outside to correct or teach them.

The Advocate Jesus is pushed out of the church as they no longer desire to be strictly Scriptural.

His final appeal is not to the church as a church group, just to an individual in the church.
REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, But the Great Tribulation is Coming and Jesus knows that there is coming a fiery persecution and death for saved Christians who chose to ignore the revealed Word of God.

Jesus paid a fiery price for our sins. The saved church-goers will pay a fiery price for their ignorance of the Bible mysteries.

"Throne like a fiery flame".

As the Son of God, Jesus shared the afflictions of the fiery furnace with three Hebrews.

REVELATION 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;

He suffered the torments of hellfire to pay for our sins as He carried our burden of sins, like the scapegoat, across the fires of hell to dump our sins onto the Devil.

As the Son of Man Jesus had to pay the price for our sins to redeem us.

He suffered more than what we can comprehend.

He knows the awful consequences of sin and the terrible struggle that He had to defeat sin.

Jesus refuses to compromise with sin but He has to allow us our free-will as we are not animals that live by instinct.

Thus He has an intense struggle to make us Scriptural.

Our natural desire, as Gentiles, is not to be obedient to Scripture. We are descended from pagans.

And in the church age of the Laodiceans, which means "people's rights", the church-goers feel that they have the right to make up their own religious beliefs.

So far they have developed 45000 different kinds of churches and denominations, as well as over 100 different versions of the English Bible. It is a real spiritual swamp.

As the Ancient of Days, Jesus was back there in the days of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, who tried to make three Jews worship the image of the prophet Daniel. Daniel was not there as he was not expected to worship his own image. That was the first Gentile kingdom.

Jesus is the Son of God.

DANIEL 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Today, in the last Gentile kingdom, message-pastors get the people to worship the last Gentile prophet, William Branham, by calling him the Voice of God and the Son of man. They place his quotes above Scripture saying that he is infallible and that his quotes are the Absolute.

65-0725 The Anointed Ones At The End Time

I wasn't the One that appeared down on the river; I was only standing there when He appeared. I'm not the One that performs these things and foretells these things that happens as perfect they are;

I'm only one that's near when He does it. I was only a voice that He used, to say It.

It wasn't what I knew; it's what I just surrendered myself to, that He spoke through.

It isn't me, it wasn't the seventh angel, oh, no; it was the manifestation of the Son of man. It wasn't the angel, his message; it was the mystery that God unfolded. It's not a man; it's God.

The angel was not the Son of man;

he was the messenger from the Son of man.

62-1007 THE KEY TO THE DOOR
That's what gets things scrupled up, you see. That, they claim in here that some brethren up there that said that I sent them up there, and they're preaching that men should leave their wives and hunt for their spiritual mate, and that I am perfectly infallible. That there's nothing... And, oh, some of the awfullest things you ever heard.

Daniel tries to paint a deeper picture.

He separates the two ministries of Jesus as if they are two separate Persons. Personification.

As the Judge, Jesus has to condemn us according to the Word of God.

But as the Advocate, if we have believed in the revealed Word for our Age, then He can protect us because He paid for our sins and unbelief.

Only Jesus can wear the white Judge's wig because He is the full truth. The Creator of all.

Only Jesus paid the price for our sins and unbelief. Jesus alone can guide us to believe the truth as it is revealed in our day. That enables Him to save us from the modern-day deceptions of the church systems.

He has to enable us to recognize the mysterious 7 Thunders when they utter so that they can show us how to change these mortal bodies into immortal bodies.

Only then, when our bodies change, can Jesus save us from the Great Tribulation by catching us up to Heaven.

But we, of our own free-will, must subject our self-will to His Word. Our only desire must be submission to Scripture.
